Reviewed Sep 18, 2026B & B davvero carino vicino al mare a Port Elizabeth. Abbiamo fatto una breve sosta ma siamo stati davvero bene. La proprietaria ci ha accolto ed è stata veramente carina e gentile. Posizione comoda anche per recarsi in aeroporto.

Não seria culpa do host, mas hóspedes do quarto do lado usavam a área externa comum para fumar, o que na prática parecia estar fumando dentro do meu quarto.

What bothered me was that the sound of activities in the main house eg. preparation in kitchen, is heard very clearly in the room early in the morning

Reviewed May 23, 2026Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, obwohl wir nur für eine Nacht vor unserem Rückflug dort waren. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr sauber und es hat fast an nichts gefehlt – lediglich ein Haarföhn wäre noch praktisch gewesen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Lage ist perfekt: Man ist in wenigen Minuten direkt am Strand bzw. an der Uferpromenade. Besonders lieb fanden wir, dass wir unser Auto am nächsten Tag noch mit Gepäck stehen lassen durften, sodass wir vor der Fahrt zum Flughafen noch einen kleinen Ausflug machen konnten. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Vom Prinzip her haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und die Gartenzimmer mit den kleinen Sitzgelegenheiten und Blick auf den Pool sind sehr schön. Das Frühstück wird durch frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen (nach Wunsch) zu 100% aufgewertet.
Die Betreiber haben zwei Hunde, die den Garten nutzen, um ihr Geschäft zu erledigen. Auch wenn große Hinterlassenschaften entfernt werden, ist es nicht angenehm, dem Hund bei der Verrichtung zuzusehen, wenn er direkt vor der Terrasse hockt. Kleine Kinder oder barfuß auf der Wiese würde ich nicht empfehlen. Der Pool wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht gepflegt, er war nicht einladend. Auf dem Boden lagen jede Menge Blätter usw. Das Zimmer könnte sauberer sein, in den Nachttischen lag noch Müll von den Vorgängern.

Unser Flug ging erst später am Tag los und wir durften das Auto am Parkplatz der Unterkunft nach dem Check-out stehen lassen. Das hat den Aufenthalt nochmals angenehmer und stressfreier gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Sehr schnelles Internet und kostenfreies WLAN im Zimmer runden das Angebot ab.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026We paid for 5 days and left after 2 days losing the balance of our payment. It's a good location if you're interested in the beachfront. Definitely not worth the daily rate. We moved to a hotel up the road for the balance of our stay and were much happier.
Our stay at BeachWalk Bed & Breakfast did not meet reasonable expectations based on our experience. We checked out 3 days early because the bathroom door in our room was not functioning properly and the issue was not fully resolved, affecting privacy. A temporary adjustment was made, but we were told parts were still needed. Other concerns for us included a noisy ceiling fan with limited ventilation, disturbances from other guests after hours, and cleanliness and comfort issues such as flat cushions and visible dust. At breakfast, birds and bird cages were present near food, which made us uncomfortable from a hygiene perspective. We also noticed that at least one very positive online review on Google appeared to be posted by the same person who checked us in, which affected our confidence in the review profile.

The towels smelt wet and very damp. Had to use my own. The TV in the room didn’t work and the wifi was very slow. The room wasn’t very clean and had a dead bug on the no-smoking sign. Bedside lamp also didn’t work.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Bed and Breakfast ist in einem gepflegten Zustand. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Frühstück wird frisch und nach Wunsch zubereitet. Der Parkplatz ist innerhalb des eingezäunten Grundstücks und kostenlos. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Lea hat für uns einen Tisch im "Ginger" reserviert. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür!

Reviewed Dec 6, 20253min zu Fuß zur Strandpromenade. Einige Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück. Der Pool und die Gartenanlage sind sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel.
Der Wasserkocher war ziemlich verfärbt und in die Jahre gekommen. Könnte mal ausgetauscht werden.

Gefährliche Stadt, sollte ab 19:00 Uhr nicht mehr auf die Strasse wegen hoher Kriminalität. Kann so die Stadt leider nicht wirklich geniessen, alle machen immer wieder auf die Gefahren aufmerksam. Hat Bus-Haltestelle für Township Bewohner in der Nähe.

Wir waren nur zum Schlafen da. Der Hund ist auf die Wiese im Garten gekommen , um sein Geschäft zu erledigen. Das Zimmer roch modrich.
