You need to rent a car to stay in this hotel. The location is beautiful but it's far from everything and there is not even a store close. The room was fine with a nice view. The breakfast was good.The manager is rude and has zero service mindset. Ioana was very helpful with good attitude.

Very comfortable convenient place to stay while in Milos. Lovely staff who were very accommodating! Loved sitting on my own private balcony at night watching the sunset or sipping on my coffee in the morning watching the sunrise!

Struttura piacevole poco distante da Pollonia, Tutto bene condizione dell'appartamento, pulizia, colazione e cortesia del personale. Noi avevamo appartamento su due piani, forse la scala è un po' pericolosa. Purtroppo in bagno non c'è il bidet. Fondamentalmente vi siamo trovati bene.

Extremely average, would never stay again & would never recommend!

The property was beautiful and from our little porch we had a view of the sea from the cliffs at Kafros Beach. The suite was stunning, wonderfully designed, sunny and impeccably clean. The bed was comfy and there was lovely seating inside and on the porch and little kitchen space with a small fridge, coffee and a few dishes for small snacks. The included breakfast is a simple but yummy spread with yogurt, cookies, coffee, cereals, a few different pastries, fresh OJ and a couple heartier options like mini egg and ham omlette type things. All was delicious and replenished throughout the morning. The staff was all polite, very responsive, and was always kind and happy to help with any recommendations or questions we had (and to let us quite late night when we accidentally locked ourselves on the porch!) The room was clean, comfortable, sunny and quiet. The location was perfect - only about a 7 minute drive to Pollonia and 15-20 to pretty much anywhere else we wanted to head out to when exploring. Having a car was great because we found the cabs were a bit expensive since they come from the centre of the island generally but we did take them a couple nights. The company we used came recommended by the hotel and were excellent, timely and wonderful to deal with which I mention because I’m confident the hotel will to put you in touch with the right people to aid your trip whatever you need. We loved our time here and will definitely come again! Highly recommend.

An excellent location a short distance away from Pollonia, situated a few minutes walk between two beaches. It was quiet & well maintained, with lovely & comfortable rooms with nice bedding, and the breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff was helpful and communicative. Highly recommended!

After staying at this property, not only was I dissatisfied, I was disappointed in the management. Granted you need a vehicle to get around (no shuttle service), the management seems nice but ended up being rude, political, misogynistic and condescending. With the rate including, Breakfast - we were disappointed in the fact that the food was barely reheated (from the day before) and served again the next day! Including the eggs! Additionally, the staff felt the need to remove the key card from the Air Conditioning Unit - which was then followed by a lecture of his electric bill! Although reception states "24/7" - we were informed that if we needed anything to online chat him because he was going off the property. Besides the view being beautiful, you can certainly get your moneys worth and peace of mind elsewhere.

Not worth the price. Not a get location need transportation for everything. In the middle of nowhere

Amazing service, food, breakfast, cleanliness, and safety. Excellent choice. Images are a bit illusive, not all rooms have the same sea-front view but rooms provide a great feeling of being close to the sea.

Hôtel propre et très simple. Certaines chambres sont des appartements, mais pas beaucoup plus confortables pour autant. Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste mais correct. Le personnel à l’accueil est très sympathique. Le rapport qualité prix est moyen.

The pictures of the room did not represent reality, the room was old, dark, and smelly. The location of the property was great and the view from the balconies was fantastic. The breakfast was also great. But we will not book again it was not worth the money.

It’s far from town but the beach nearby is nice. If you don’t have a car you’ll taxi everywhere for €15-20. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

This was a great stay! The service was impeccable, and the owner/operator made every effort to make the stay amazing. He put forth a huge amount of effort and dedication and his passion shows through with every detail. The environment is soothing and restorative, the food was wonderfully done. The property is beautiful and clean with a health spa vibe that pulls you into relaxation. A beautiful and more hidden part of the Greek islands that is off the beaten path.

Clean and newly renovated hotel. Great views of the sea from the rooms. Local, authentic Greek breakfast served in a white, clean veranda. Friendly staff.

It was a big room but the shower was not like the pictures. It was 15 minutes from Adamas with motorcycle and also there is very near a bus station. The view was great

A little hidden gem on Milos, 5 min drive from Pollonia where there are lots of good restaurants, but a secluded little spot with direct access to the sea from the rocks. Excellent service and cleanliness.

Heureux de nos 2 semaines à Milos ! Apparemment les gens y restent habituellement quelques jours, mais nous avons trouvé largement de quoi explorer. Concernant l'hôtel, nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par une jeune femme parlant parfaitement français (la propriétaire ?). Nous avions réservé un studio (selon la description de leur site web nous sommes tombés sur le "spacious studio") dans lequel nous avons trouvé une kitchenette vraiment pratique et bien équipée, des chaussons et échantillons très biens. L'hôtel est bien entretenu et le ménage a été fait parfaitement tous les jours. A noter que l'hôtel est exposé aux vents (le Meltem a beaucoup soufflé pendant notre séjour) et cela a hurlé fort la nuit. Ces jours là nous n'avons pas pu profiter de nos deux superbes balcons avec vue (il fallait s'enfermer et mettre une serviette sous la porte pour calmer les hurlements). La dernière nuit nous avons même eu une forte pluie qui a partiellement inondé notre chambre (se lever le matin et mettre les pieds dans des flaques d'eau). Enfin, nous avons été un peu décus de notre studio par rapport à ce que nous nous imaginions en voyant les photos sur le site. D'autant plus que notre salle de bain était tout sauf "high quality bathroom" avec du vieux carrelage marron et un join entièrement moisi autour de la douche. C'est un peu de notre faute aussi, nous aurions dû demander directement une autre chambre, mais nous n'avons pas eu le réflexe.

Very comfortable hotel situated right next to a beautiful beach with cave and arch formations. Another beach within 5 minutes walking time. Rooms are a good size with a great breeze. The family junior suite is very spacious with multiple balconies and verandah. Hotel café has limited selection but very tasty.

I came from another Greek island and I told the hotel that I would be checking-in on the date I was supposed to. Delays happened during my travel causing me unable to check in as exact time I informed the hotel. But my plan hasn't changed, I was planning to check-in. Otherwise, I would have informed the hotel of any change. However, the hotel didn't have any solution for late check-in. For example, from my experience in other cities, they would communicate with guests (who already confirmed that they were coming for sure) of the latest time. Another example, a hotel puts a secret key box while no receptionist is gone and communicate to guest that where the key is so he/she could check in by herself. With Avra Pahainas Milos, there's nothing at all. There's policy of check-in hour, but no explanation if people show up afterward it's a "no-show". I reached out and their explanation is that they had to rest, they had babies, and it passed the time. What kind of hospitality of a hotelier like that! This is in the middle of the high season and you charge people for services, but services are not sufficiently provided, yet you still want to gain money from the business. Something is just wrong compared to hospitality industry standards elsewhere.

Great stay in the family apartment! It is a wonderful spot, and I would stay again if I have the chance!

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer Feriensiedlung zwischen Plaka und Pollonia. Zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit für die nötigsten Dinge sind es ca. 4 Kilometer. Leider stellten wir fest, dass die neben dem Hotel befindliche Taverne geschlossen ist und in der Feriensiedlung auch sonst keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden waren. Auch die gemäß der Hotelbeschreibung angebotene Frühstücksmöglichkeit war aus technischen Gründen nicht vorhanden. Wir waren also darauf angewiesen, mit dem zum Glück angemie-teten Auto nach Pollonia, Adamas oder nach Plaka zum Einkaufen zu fahren. Das angeblich komplett ausgebuchte Hotel war bis auf uns nicht belegt. Dies änderte sich auch während unseres Aufenthalts mit Ausnahme auf einen einzigen Tag nicht. Wir waren also völlig allein in diesem Hotel, obwohl gemäß expedia.de nur noch geringe Kapazität in-folge hoher Nachfrage vorhanden sein würde. Weil wir vor Ort eine ganz andere Situation vorfanden, bewerten wir diese Angaben im Onlineportal als gezielte Falschmeldung, um kurzfristige Buchungserfolge zu erzielen. Übrigens ergaben unsere Nachforschungen bei anderen Hotels der Insel ähnliche Erfolge. Ebenso konnten wir keinerlei Möglichkeiten von Fitnesseinrichtungen im Hotel feststellen bzw. wurden uns diese zur Nutzung nicht angeboten. Den in der Beschreibung ausgewiesenen Garten suchten wir vergebens. Der Hotelinhaber äußerte uns gegenüber deutlich seine Abneigung gegenüber Imigranten.

Nous avons été très bien reçu, c'est agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner face à la mer. Nous étions hors saison et nos hôtes ont décalé des travaux pour que soyons au calme, donc un séjour très reposant.

Nun das Avra liegt in einer Feriensiedlung die zum Dorf Pachaina gehört. Rund um das Hotel sind weitere Ferienhäuser und Apartments. Somit nach der Nebensaison ist es doch etwas weit ab vom Schuss. Wer es ruhig mag dem gefällt die Lage. Der Hauptort Adamas ist bequem erreichbar, Pollonia ebenfalls. Die Studios sind gut geschnitten. Ein Strand ist ca 300m vom Hotel entfernt.

Small family owned hotel with excellent view and great connection with the bus to Pollonia and Adamas. Perfect spot to start tracking tours along the coast.

Hotel was fine. Room comfortable enough. Shower doesn't attach to the wall... The view is great. Recommend hiring an ATV or car to get around from here.

Incredible stay! This hotel and owner are wonderful and truly made our stay in Milos fantastic. The room and bed were comfortable, the owner gave us multiple recommendations of what do/eat each day based upon the wind direction (if its windy on one side of the island, its calm on the other), and the views are breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner we had at the restaurant. My only complaint is that I could not stay longer. We will be coming to Milos again and staying at Avra Pahainas. Thank you Avra Pahainas for a truly relaxing and memorable holiday!

Nous sommes restés deux jours à Milos. Cette île à garder un caractère sauvage et ses paysages sont splendides. Les Grecs sont très accueillants !

Lieu très agréable, hôte de très bon conseil. 2 km Apolonia et Plage de Pachena. Mais voiture recommandée pour explorer tout le reste de l'île et les plages à l'abri du vent.

Beautiful clean quiet accommodation. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were two minutes walk away from the beach and we felt like we were the only ones there.

Love Milos. Quartier very calm and peaceful. If you don't want to lent a car, it will bother you. Bus system is a little complicated.

Too bad I had to cut my vacation and go back home, would have loved to stay there, definetely will push the odds to go back.
