Água quente não funcionou e depois ficamos sem água no banheiro. Depois da reclamação nos trocaram imediatamente de quarto.

Hotel molto bello, curato nei dettagli, ottima posizione davanti alla spiaggia e a 2 minuti dal centro del paesello. Staff gentile, ci hanno fatto un upgrade gratuito alla suite superior.

Il frigobar nella camera da letto rumoroso, tutto il giorno e notte. Il rubinetto della doccia gocciolava.

Richtig geiles Frühstück, ich empfehle auf jeden Fall Barracuda Toast, Pancakes, Chia Yoghurt, dazu leckere frische Säfte. Die Unterkunft was unfassbar schön. Eines der allerschönsten Hotels in denen wir jemals Urlaub gemacht haben. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, richtig hands-on und proaktive, immer zur Stelle. Auch sehr gute Kommunikation in Englisch. Die Räume sind super schön. Echt bequeme Betten, viel Platz. Toller Balkon zum Wasser, mit Hängematte, Tisch/Stühlen und Sesseln. Sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch der Empfang, Frühstücksbereit und Restaurant samt Pool ist wunderschön. Wir haben uns so richtig wohl gefühlt.

Es gibt nichts negatives, was ich berichten kann.

Le personnel de l’hôtel est super, l’emplacement et la vue de la terrasse de l’hôtel sont magnifiques et le petit déjeuner ainsi que les dîners sont très bien.

Notre chambre côté rue était très humide et avait une mauvaise odeur tout le séjour. Les fenêtres sont très mal insonorisées et cela rend les nuits très bruyantes.

Petit déjeuner juste fabuleux ! un emplcamet idéal au centre d'Itacaré. la déco bohème . surf chic. les suggestions du team toujours à l'écoute !

Staff and quiet luxury of the facilities. The food in the restaurant was also amazing.

The room had a slight sewage smell. We complained about it, but it was not considered by the maintenance.

We had a wonderful time at Barracuda. The tours we did were truly amazing and unforgettable. The cacao farm experience and local lunch was already a highlight on its own, but the Prainha trek with Leandro absolutely elevated our trip. Leandro was phenomenal: friendly, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and someone who clearly loves what he does. He knew exactly when to share interesting stories, when to give us space to take in the scenery, and he made both experiences feel not only beautiful but also comfortable and safe. Thanks to him, the trek wasn’t just a walk — it was a real experience. The Hawaiian canoe tour with João was also incredibly fun. João’s enthusiasm is contagious, and he made the whole experience adventurous, playful, and relaxed at the same time. His energy kept us smiling throughout the entire paddle. Larissa who provided the breakfast, was so warm and kind. It was a party everyday to get breakfast because of her and the other ladies in the kitchen. And lastly João, from the reception, was incredible as well. He was such a good host and made sure our stay at the hotel was perfect. In short, unforgettable days with amazing staff who made our trip even more special.

Ótima localização, junto ao melhor restaurante da cidade. Fácil acesso para as praias. Quarto enorme, banheiro grande, muito armário. Café da manhã incrível! Staff muito solicito, agradável.

O chuveiro demorava a esquentar e as vezes não esquentava. As toalhas não secavam a tempo do próximo banho, faltava lugar para estendê-las.

El lugar es sin duda una gran sorpresa, con una vista inmejorable al río, una piscina exquisita y un restaurante de gran nivel! Toda su decoración altamente cuidada. Hicimos el paseo en canoa hawaiana organizada por el hotel y nos encantó!

We had an unforgettable stay at the Barracuda Boutique Hotel in Itacaré. The restaurant is without a doubt the best in town, offering refined and creative cuisine, an outstanding cocktail bar, and a varied, delicious homemade breakfast. The staff is exemplary: attentive, welcoming, and always available to organize excursions or share valuable advice on activities in the region. A special thanks to Anna and Brenda for their patience and kindness. The rooms are very comfortable, and the Scandinavian-inspired décor, thought through in every detail, creates an elegant and warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. The hotel also offers a wonderful view of the fishing boats, and its ideal location, close to the town center, makes it easy to reach the beaches, restaurants, and shops of Itacaré on foot. A unique place where you truly feel at home, and one that is hard to leave.

Gorgeous, beautiful and at the same time intimate and romantic. A few years ago we stayed in Vila Barracuda the more expensive hotel and loved it - but we loved more this smaller hotel of the group. We had the master sea and river suite on the second floor- a stunning large room with the most comfortable bed, best shower, big terrace overlooking a stunning view. The staff - so nice and attentive. The food delicious - compliments to the chef. Best location in Itacare. Everything was just super perfect.

We had the most amazing time at Barracuda Boutique Hotel in Itacaré! Traveling with a child can sometimes be challenging, but this place made everything so easy and enjoyable. It’s incredibly kid-friendly – from the warm, welcoming staff to the safe, open spaces where our little one could explore and play. This hotel is the best one in Itacaré! The staff is super friendly and well trained, the location is awesome, room are huge and well decorated. They also have Otti restaurant that is so delicious . 10/10! I strongly recommend Barracuda Boutique!

My husband and I stayed here over NYE and had the best experience! The staff was incredibly kind, the food at the restaurant was incredible, and the location was perfect for our vacation. We loved our room as well, and felt right at home for our stay. We can't wait to return in the future! Thank you for a magical stay!

The property has about 11 rooms and feels cosy and private (my concern when booking was the pool area’s size which wasn’t an issue at all). A lot of attention has been given to interior design and it is a great example of beautiful contemporary Brazilian architecture (modern and warm). Service, drinks and food were excellent. Having been most recently to the Conrad in Koh Samui I felt no material difference in my experience. Well done team Barracuda!

Only suggestion of improvement would be around kitchen/bar hours - not available at 2pm when we tried to order (but appreciate it might be a reflection of property size)

I stayed in the small boutique hotel and loved it. The whole place were amazing and the rooms were beautiful, cozy and always clean. The food, especially the breakfast were super delicious. I felt that I was in good hands at all times. I hope to come back one day! special thanks and lots of love to all the amazing girls who worked in the service – i felt like a family member.

Our stay at the hotel was remarkable. Not only we had a fantastic time and the hotel is perfect in every sense, but the most important factor of our enjoyable experience was the hotel crew. From the receptionist Sisa to all the members who cooked our meal.. the love, good vibes and willingness to make us feel like we were in paradise.! We loved our experience

Amazing place! It is in kind of an odd location when you enter it from the front. But the back side opens up directly onto the beachfront boardwalk and everything at the property is absolutely beautiful and incredible. This is a great option to stay and really amazing for the price!

The only challenging part about the property is the parking. There is no designated parking. But we didn’t have too much trouble finding a spot within walking distance of the hotel at any point, so it wasn’t a huge downside.

We had a wonderful time at Barracuda. Excellent accommodations, breakfast varied and carefully prepared. Dinner was also great! Staff made the difference, helpful and always willing to help with tips of the city.

Staff were fantastic. Location is perfect, quiet and with a great view. we ate out a few times but the best food was at the Barracuda.

Excellent central location, with fishing bay in front of hotel, a short walk to swimming beaches. Lovely home like feel. A lovely lady learned very quickly I was vegan and gluten free; I couldn’t speak Brazilian Portuguese, but she started cooking me fantastic vegan omelettes from Tapioca packed with vegetables which I was extremely grateful for. The staff were very friendly and Barbara spoke excellent English which was a huge help for me as barely any English is spoken in this area. The food was lovely, though there was a lack of vegetarian options and vegan. I ordered Palm Heart spaghetti ‘Veggie’ option but they simply removed the shrimps and the sauce tasted very strongly of shrimp. A small thing but, nevertheless, it wasn’t vegetarian. Otherwise the staff can’t do enough for you. The hotel was very clean, lovely decor. In all I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel, swimming pool is tiny, more a dip to cool off. Lovely comfortable seating around it too. As this is essentially a surfing town, it’s a great hotel to come back from the beach to. Very clean, top class staff and good food if you eat fish and meat.

Take ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones, but that kind of is a requirement for most of the hotels I stayed in whilst in Itacare. My room was on ground level. Right next to the front door. So an early night wasn’t an option as people arriving for or leaving after dinner were a constant, up to 11pm; but hey! You are in Brazil! Breakfast started at 7am, therefore staff arrived around 6-6.30am. This was my one true irritation as I got up for breakfast at 7 because I had been woken (though the staff try to be as quiet as they can), but the majority of guests came down from 8:30 onwards so I didn’t feel it necessary to wake possibly most of the guests from 6:30am. My bedroom was essentially in the hallway leading to the open plan ground floor consisting of reception, living area, dining and kitchen, so noise was at an optimum. It was called a suite. In the UK a suite usually means a seprate area with sofa, or a much larger room than a standard. My first room was standard, the 2nd a ‘suite,’ which was exactly the same, slightly bigger with a chair. Please note, there are no views for any ground room floors. A small patio garden with the road beyond. The upstairs rooms have terraces, though I didn’t visit these and I’m not sure they would be any less noisy as the sea facing ones are directly above the restaurant.

Estive 2 vezes no Hotel. A primeira foi bem legal, super bem atendido, a segunda fui extremamente mal atendido, tinha um rapaz de cara super fechada que nem comprimentos, o café da manhã parecia que estava pedindo favor em solicitar um suco ou algo. Pouca cortesia da equipe. Ponto negativo também em que NINGUÉM até ajuda com malas, na verdade na primeira hospedagem uma mulher nos ajudou, nessa era um rapaz na recepção que nada ajudava. Hotel bonito, sem estacionamento, bons drinks e só!

Essa foi minha 3a vez nessa pousada e como sempre muito agradável. Além da estrutura que é muito aconchegante, o serviço faz toda diferença, comida e bebidas muito boas. A localização é ótima, o café da manhã também com a tapioca rendada da De, o atendimento do Miguel e da Lívia na recepção, tudo excelente. A gente vai embora querendo voltar.

São muitos os aspectos do Vila Barracuda que merecem elogios. O principal deles é o atendimento de toda a equipe: você realmente se sente acolhido como estivesse em casa. A decoração do hotel é de muito bom gosto. As instalações são muito bem conservadas. Quanto à localização, o hotel fica no Centro, muito próximo dos restaurantes. Para as praias urbanas, uma caminhada de dez a quinze minutos. Se você pretende ficar no Centro de Itacaré, é altamente recomendável. 10/10.

Péssima localização, fica de frente para uma praia que não é própria para banho, o mal cheiro que entra é terrível. Café da manhã péssima qualidade, variedade nenhuma, muito fraco. Valor da diária altíssima para o que é oferecido. Nem estacionamento tem!

Vila Barracuda is an amazingly well-designed and stylish boutique hotel right in the centre of Itacare. It has a great views of the ocean from its terrace restaurant. The food is some of the best in Itacare. Highly recommend for the hotel and the restaurant.

The hotel is amazing! They are a boutique hotel in front of the water, with a great view and sophisticated decoration, welcoming staff members, very clean and full of nice scents. The food is amazing! Their chef Fernando made us a fried fish we will never forget (guaricema fish), with coconut rice and vegetables. Their fish balls (bolinho de peixe) is amazing as well. The managers/owners are there all the time making sure everyone is happy and satisfied. The staff members are great people, always concerned with our well-being. Their music selection is also amazing!

The hotel is AMAZING, beautiful decoration, incredibly friendlyy staff, delicious food. A must do!
