We did not need air conditioning for the 10 days we were there. The room was cleaned every day and it was amazing. There were lots of shops near the hotel. The staff where excellent.
Nice place
Highly recommend
Made my stay in Paris so amazing! Rooms are super clean and the air conditioning isn’t very strong but it’s there. Front desk and all staff are friendly and always very helpful. The location is very convenient as well with the Miromesnil station being a 2-3 minute walk away! Plenty of food options, a Franprix, and other great places around the area. Definitely hoping to stay here again during a future trip to Paris!
The front desk person, Luna was amazing. She made sure our stay was perfect. She was friendly and helpful.
My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights to explore the city. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location—it's incredibly convenient. Just steps away from shopping centers, a variety of dining options, and easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city hassle-free. However, the room itself was underwhelming. It felt quite small for two adults, and we were disappointed by the limited amenities. There was no space to really relax or unpack comfortably, and it lacked some of the extras you’d expect at this price point. If you're prioritizing location over comfort, this place might suit your needs. But for travelers looking for a bit more space and convenience in-room, you may want to explore other options.
Todo bien, limpio, agradable, centrico, zona tranquila
We first got a different room from what we initially booked but after complaining on hotels.com the manager immediately changed our room to what we saw in the photo as we were booking and apologized to us with a bottle of wine! The housekeeper was really nice
This was a mainly business trip. This is not a hotel for business. One night and morning it was not hot water. Every night I had a cigarette smell coming into my room. No action taken from front desk.
Bien mais sans plus
Super Lage! Immer wieder
All the luxary brand stores were less than 20min away from walking. The train was 3min by walking. This location is more for friends or partners not really for family.
L'emplacement est idéal à quelques minutes des Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, de la gare st Lazare,Theatres, Opera Garnier etc.. Absence de parking et sdb vraiment petite.
“This hotel had very small rooms, and the bathroom and toilet were so tiny that even one person could barely fit. There was a lot of noise coming from outside, and even when the neighboring room flushed the toilet, we could hear it in our room. I definitely wouldn’t give this hotel 4 stars.”
For Paris the rooms are spacious and fairly recently renovated. Great value, clean and perfect base for my business meetings in the area.
It wasn’t the best. A lot to be worked upon.
Nice place. Will come back. Good location. Real Paris.
Really nice staff. Hotel is close to subway and train stations. Convenient and clean. Very tiny elevator for claustrophobics. The rest were pretty good.
Great
Beautiful hotel- rooms quite roomy and comfortable- odd to leave your key to your room each and every time you leave but one less thing to worry about I guess. Elevator is very Parisian and if your on top for the best view you have the stairs to walk up- definitely a taste of paris for sure!! I 10 minutes one way your at galleries Lafayette and Printemps or 10 min the other direction your on champs Elysee- beautiful and close to several metro stations
😉👍
Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Melvin. The hotel had a small lift which was very useful for luggages and if your room was on a high floor. Our family room was very spacious and had a balcony too. Will gladly stay here again next time we are in Paris.
Centrally located to most of the popular landmarks.
My stay at Hotel d'argenson was comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and supported us with any enquiries we had.
Rooms were decent size and warmed up well with heater. Beds were comfortable. Lift was very small. Bathroom quite small. Can hear people in other rooms. Floor above was cleaning could hear loud scraping However, good area and decent clean hotel.
The WiFi was quite poor
Rooms were newly decorated. Kettle in room with tea bags and coffee. Very clean. Good location
Excellent location and easy access nearby metro stations. Very friendly staff, comfy and clean rooms. My only complain is that the hotel has no AC, it was quite hot when we stayed.
Hotel location is great, walkable distance to shopping and dining areas, staff are very friendly and welcoming!
Our stay was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable and the location was perfect for getting all around the city. Would definitely stay at Hotel d’Argenson again!
Excellent location
Accessible to all the hotspots. Very friendly staff. Room cleaning and replenishing of toiletries. No air conditioning available, but windows and a fan worked ok.
Very helpful staff, patisserie next door for breakfast was ideal and very convenient for central Paris. Exceeded expectations
The stay was fantastic the staff was truly exceptional. I would recommend that they put some ac units in the room but other than that it was awesome!
Loved this family owned boutique hotel in the heart of everything !! Clean and updated perfect for myself and my family will definitely come back here again ! 💕
This hotel was nothing like what it presented itself in its website. We had no WIFI… no amenities of any kind… and it was priced almost double what we paid at a far superior hotel in Nice.
Great location, great customer service and very clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
The front desk staff was super helpful and made our stay great. The room was very small and had some damage - light fixture pulled off wall and shelf which was loose and breaking from wall. The room was renovated though so looked great and all very clean - location was excellent for walking to lots of sights and transit.
Was very Centrally located. Staff friendly and helpful!
A nice budget hotel in central locations with good transport connections. We came early for our check-in and were told by the pleasant man at the reception that our room would be ready at 3pm. We went for a walk, came back at 3pm, and he told us that we have got a room upgrade from a comfort room to a family room. The room was huge for Parisian standards, there was even a table with 4 chairs. It had a period (non-functioning) fireplace, high ceilings and other original features. There was a painting/picture with the Eiffel tower on the wall which we could admire from bed. There was a kettle with tea, coffee and milk. The storage space was good. The soundproofing was good, there were two double-glazed windows with a space between them. The lightning was the only thing for which we recommend some improve as it was not quite adequate for working on a computer. The bathroom was good size with 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel for 2 people. Very recommended: Good value for money, good service, many sights and shopping destinations within walking distance.
The room is big, clean, quiet and well equipped. The furnitures are very nice with really comfortable beds. The bathroom is very good. I was in the hotel in december and the room heating was excellent. And of course the hotel's location is in one of the best places in Paris. Reception is good and helpful.
The room and the bathroom are extremely small, ok if you are staying 2 nights and spend most of your time outside your room. The most disappointing thing is that the room as not been cleaned well, even the mug I have used for coffee has been left with leftover coffee in it as well as tea/coffee/milk have not been replaced (so couldn't make myself another hot drink on my second day). The room was also extremely humid, in fact the curtains were completely soaked in the morning which is not really ideal. On the positive side, the hotel is dog friendly.
Beautiful views and gorgeous hotel with Parisian ceilings and a fireplace in our room! Choose the 5th floor for the best views if you don’t mind stairs. Walking distance (sub-20 minutes) from Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. Staff very friendly and accommodating, would book again!
Beautiful Hotel, location, and service. Will be back in a heart beat!
Staff helpful; liked they graciously held my luggage till check in. Liked the old ceiling and mounding. Beautiful breeze from open old rod iron balcony.
Very bad réception Not any respect for their client
Location is great. Staff courteous. Hotel is clean
Really lovely hotel, so clean and everything felt new. Great location and great helpful staff
First stayed here 15 yrs ago and never lost its charm. Incredble value for location. Staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. Heartily recommend.
Quaint little hotel in the middle of the posh section of Paris. Not far from the Louvre and Champs Elysees. Simple but clean and comfortable.
D’Argenson would be a good choice for a 2 star stay in Paris in any circumstance, but add the fact that they do not charge pet fees (!!!), and it becomes the best choice in Paris. Bonus for the breakfast delivered to your room, nice touch!
Lovely hotel, super clean and convenient. Very helpful staff. A lot of people wrote about the construction but I did not here anything. Located in a very nice quaint neighborhood just the right distance from the touristy areas. So much better than what I expected, the rooms and bathrooms are trendy and freshly updated. Definitely more than a 3 star hotel! Stations are very close. I would look no where else to stay again.
Extremely loud outside, no air conditioner, no curtains in a shower, so water is leaking everywhere on the floor and even goes to the room through the door
This hotel has the best staff, helpful and efficient. Pretty room and bathroom, Oman elegant style
Good location with metro 2 mins away to get to all big attractions. Hotel quiet with little cute rooms. Friendly staff aswell helping with questions we had
The staff were friendly and accommodated us well Breakfast was arrived on time and was nice We would happily stay again
small rooms. poor ventilation. small closet. no hangars
At 1am on are 1st night out we was asked to pay are bill rather than when u leave like any where els ,quite dusty , but in a very good area
I will definetly go back if I return to Paris. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great location walking distance for Champs Élysée and close to métro Overall very satisfied
Location was good, 5 min walk to subway station and close to other shops and restaurants. Breakfast (served in room) was good. However, cleanliness and condition of hotel were unacceptable. Thick dust on the walls, black mold on shower head and all around the bathroom, smelly bathroom floor with dirty shower carpet. Floor, bedding and towels were clean. Would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Good value hotel in very good location (a couple of minutes walk to the Metro station and 15 minute walk to the Champs Elysee). Breakfast brought to my room was nice and décor was charming. Having wifi was also appreciated and straightforward. Decent shower too! Floor was a bit uneven and windows were awkward, but can't really complain. Very satisfied
It is a good place to stay. I would recommend anyone with low budget. It s location is good also.
..but the room could not have been much smaller. Quite shabby and dark as the window opened on to an inner blank wall. The lobby was attractive but the room was in need of updating. We could hear the plumbing from every room around us, loos flushing, basins filling, showers running. However , it was adequate for the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
We arrived off the eurostar at about 10.30pm and were welcomed warmly by our host - his English was not great but he was super patient and explained everything in slow basic French for me to understand! On Saturday morning we awoke to breakfast in bed which was lovely, a continental of croissants and baguette with tea/coffee and fruit juice, as well as fruit preserves, nutella, cheese, and apricot fruit salad. During the day we were able to visit the Louvre, Notre Dame, Rue Mouffetard and the Eiffel Tower easily, and then managed to get to the Arc De Triomphe and down the shopping street of the Champs Elysees before watching the Rugby in a pub nearby. We slept well and had a great checkout time of 12pm, and they were kind enough to hold our bags until we were ready to head to the Eurostar
Room was small but adequate. The staff were great. Breakfast was included and very good. Location was top shelf, close to everything.
I think this hotel is great for backpackers. It's 2 minute walk to the metro station. A bakery is right next door so it's very convenient. However, if you want comfort and services, this is not for you.
Value for money at the budget end. Good location with access to metro and bus transport
Room 45 is very, to small room ! Breakfast is n't it worth.
Smaller cozy hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms but rooms were quite small. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was good food. Very good location.
Location is very near to the metro station, around 5 minutes walking distance, near Champs Elysees street region. Very small lift I've ever met, only one lady with a check-in luggage is very crowded inside. Everything is clean and comfortable, having one window, no air conditioner, no coffee/tea maker, very smaller bathroom. Breakfast is sent to the room as your mentioned time one day before, bread with coffee and milk. I've booked from hotels.com website, cost S$250 for two nights with tax, around euro 81 per night with tax. No city tax is charged when I check out. Overall, it is a good location but small budget hotel, recommended for city sightseeing purpose, not recommended for business purpose.
Hotel is very old but very nice and clean, staff members are very nice
This hotel is in a great location. The room we stayed in was rather small, had stains on the floor, and had a tiny bathroom. But because we used the hotel merely to sleep in and shower, the size wasn't a major inconvenience. The staff was mostly very friendly (the woman at the front desk was wonderful). The continental breakfast was simple but delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a solo traveler or a couple that will mainly be out and about, but not for anyone looking for luxury in Paris.
Clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast is brought to your room. No tea /coffee making in your room. Rooms are far too small for a double bed, no room for luggage. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything..!! When another guest above you flushes their toilet you think it's raining in your room.
The checking was scheduled at 2 pm and however, the room was not available until 3 pm.
My time in Paris was wonderful.
We stayed for two nights. Overall, not worth the price better to spend more and be comfortable. No amenities in the room, very small TV and elevator.
Good location, decent price but everything else is poor. Tiny elevator, non clean rooms, front desk staff not helpful. They request you to be in your room before 1 am and you can not exit after that time. Room cleaning does a very poor job, the facility is extremely outdated as well.
A very French little hotel with charming rooms, marble fireplace, beautiful plaster ceilings, all the decor you could ask for in a little room. Located within 10 minute walk to the Opera, metro's close by, and restaurants. Noisy street but the 3 tier windows block the sound...
Nice hotel close to Paris' main sites. This hotel has an authentic ambiance of old France, but lacks the comfort most people expect today. The lack of air conditioning makes the room quite hot in the summer despite the provided fan, especially since we felt a little unsafe leaving the balcony door open. The bathroom is very small and difficult to move around in.
The hotel is much older than what is shown in the pictures and website. The carpet is quiet old and the lift is too small even for one person. The surprising part was related to the information of this lift which was indicated, suitable for four persons. Breakfast was only served on the bed and is always similar. The mattress are too hard. The rooms are big and the location is good and very close to Champs-Elyeese. street.
Nice staff, no AC and very warm, street noise
Enjoyed the stay of 8 nights very much. Atmosphere of hotel very cool, definitely felt like you were in France, not in one of those hotels that could be anywhere Breakfast in the room was very nice. Staff were uniformly pleasant, intelligent and extremely helpful. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it to a friend. Only negatives (and very minor ones) were the street noise from Baron Haussmann Boulevard, a main drag, and the small size of the room. Bed was very comfy (firm mattress). Very glad.we stayed there. Really enhanced the Paris experience. Ed McNamara, Setauket NY
We were very pleased with this hotel. The gentlemen at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. Enjoyed having our breakfast delivered to our room each morning.
Very quaint, historical hotel near sightseeing landmarks! It was the largest hotel room I stayed in during my trip in France and Italy. It also had a large bathroom with a full shower/tub. Continental breakfast served in your room in the morning. Free WiFi. Front desk clerk was extremely helpful.
Beautiful furniture in room, nicely decorated. Very old school with key left at reception. Elevator very small, maybe impossible to get one big suitcase in there along with a person.
I like hotels with good-sized lobbies, sitting and eating areas. This had none of the three. The room was a lovely size with large windows and comfy bed and giant wardrobe which I appreciated. And the great location! Carpet needed serious vacuuming. Breakfast was delivered to your room which was novel but everything except bread was packaged including way too sweet canned fruit.
This hotel is a typical French hotel. Front desk persons are very good and helpful. Hotel is very close to metro and bus stops. Lots of restaurants, attractions and shopping malls are with in walking distance. Bed is very comfortable. But washroom is too small and not convenient to use, door is just in front of your nose. Tiny elevator, good for hardly 2 persons. No coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. Overall good for budget stay in Paris.
The hotel was good value & in a great location for the metro & walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. Our room was small & very hot but clean, with breakfast provided in the room. The staff were helpful & spoke good english.
The photos allude to a more modern-looking hotel. It was, in fact, quite old. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything happening in your neighbor's room. The bed itself was comfortable, though the bedding seemed quite ancient. The towels definitely need to be restocked as they were very stiff from having been washed repeatedly. There's no safe for your belongings, and you have to leave your key with the front desk when you leave. The people who work at the hotel are really nice, and the hotel's proximity to the Metro station is very convenient. Even if you don't want to take the metro, you're about a 20-minute walk to Concorde in one direction and Arc de Triomphe in another.
A very cosy hotel but the room was exactly as expected. Perfect location for walking to the sights or shops. Ideal for 1-2 night stay.
Great place for exploring Paris, close to metro station, visited Lido great show Eifel tower restaurant great food expensive but worth it especially on Valentine's evening.
Convenient location near miromesnil metro station. Typical French style, quite nice. Bathroom was newly refurbished, tiny but decent. Asked for a twin room as I was staying with my 16 year old son but they charged more for this, was told my double room had a large bed anyway...it was a standard double not large in my opinion! Breakfast was served to the room which was a nice touch :) Would defo recommend!
The hotel is having a very good location, 2 minutes from the metro, good access all over Paris. Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, warm and big enough...was exactly what I was looking for. I totally recommend and I will definitely come back
The hotel was very good and the location was even better as it was closer to most of the places we wanted to see and visit.
I enjoyed staying there, the staff are friendly and helpful. We had nice view at the balcony, and quiet. It's spacious I might add. Convenient to go anywhere in the center city. Quite good location. Light breakfast in bed. Reasonable price.
Charming property with tons of character. Rooms are a great size and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was great keeping down the costs. Staff was always helpful and friendly making our stay very enjoyable. Will be back if I get the opportunity!
All you need for your stay - you don't book a hotel in Paris to stay there all day! Breakfast every morning was a nice touch. Not all the staff spoke English well and we had a hard time with one staff member specifically. Overall: Over-priced but passable.
Budget hotel for a place like Paris. Free breakfast is just for namesake. You have to submit your room keys at reception before going out. Good Indian restaurant tandoori Punjab nearby.
Very close to the metro station and restaurants and shops. Very nice short walk to the Arch and also to the Eiffel Tower.
Room was beautiful, staff was friendly, great location, breakfast was perfect and delivered to room each morning. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
