Tres belle vue, endroit tres appaisant et personelle tres sympathique

Perfect spot for a relaxing post-Camino walk. Gracious host, amazing property, beautiful pool. It’s the second time we have been here for good reason. The rooms are spacious and make you feel like you are in a castle.

I went to walk the Camino. The location and accommodation were perfect! Lucia met me at the door and showed me around, made me feel SO welcome. There were other pilgrims there and we had a lovely meal. Lucia made the soup and I would highly recommend it. It was superb - so delicious! There was a pool, an outdoor lounge area where you could have drinks and items to purchase if you wanted. Dinner was outside at a long table that accommodated everyone. Our room was spacious, and it was so peaceful. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!

There was nothing I didn't like.

Die ganze Atmosphäre, war ein Erlebnis, die Ruhe, das Abendessen draussen, grmeinsam mit anderen Gästen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich.

Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Le déjeuner est excellent. Le site est exceptionnel.

The bedroom was amazing, the most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Great rooms.

The dinner arrangement could be better, like having 2 or 3 local options. Instead, there are options but from a grill restaurant they pick up for us, which does not have options without chips and stuff.

Nothing like this anywhere! From the gate bell to the dinner to the staff and decor of the room and more. Might be our favorite place to stay.

While it doesn’t yet have air-conditioning, the downstairs room was quite cool even on a warm summer day due to the stone walls

Piscina muito pequena e descuidada

This place is gorgeous! A little off the Camino, but worth it. The owner was fun to talk to and he brought us frozen grapes from the garden. A delicious dinner was served outside on the grounds. Loved our stay here!

Víctor Hugo se empeña en hacerte tu estancia lo más agradable posible, mima su propiedad y procura cuidar hasta el mínimo detalle, se nota que disfruta con lo que hace.

O quarto muito espaçoso com camas grandes para 1 família de 4. A limpeza do quarto e da casa de banho. A localização. O jardim com a piscina foi excelente.

Gostamos de tudo em geral. Não há nada que possamos apontar de negativo no alojamento. Tudo muito positivo.

No anúncio dizem que não são permitidos animais de estimação. Enquanto estávamos na piscina apareceram dois cães. Inclusivamente, penso que os cães eram dos proprietários.

Instalaciones de primera, ubicación y servicio muy buenos.

Tienen todo muy limpio y bien cuidado.Muy bonito tanto la decoración exterior como interior, muy acorde con el entorno.El personal de 10.

Las habitaciones algo oscuras.

Alojamento super sossegado. Funcionários (Lúcia e Sr do pequeno almoço) foram uma simpatia e muito educados e prestáveis.

Pequeno almoço poderia ter mais oferta, no entanto com os básicos assegurados (pão, cereais, café, leite, fruta). Sem ar condicionado.

Très beau lieu. Chambre originale mais un peu petite. Accueil très pro.

Piscine plus modeste que ne le laisse penser les photos. Rapport qualité prix pas favorable, je dirais que c'est 20 euros du prix adéquate. L'insonorisation entre les chambres... quand les voisins du dessous se sont mis à parler (fort, ils étaient espagnols...) c'est comme si on les avaient invités chez nous. Mais heureusement les clients ici ne sont pas les fêtards.

Eram dias de muito calor. Amei a piscina. O quarto é muito confortável. Os funcionários muito amáveis. Estava fazendo o caminho de santiago português.

Os preços dos serviços um pouco alto.

Die Anlage ist extrem verkleinert worden. Es sind hohe Holzzäune aufgestellt. Der Pool ist sehr klein und wurde 3 std von lärmenden Kindern frequentiert sodass er nicht nutzbar war. Das Essen war eine TK Mahlzeit und dafür viel zu teuer. Wir sind vor der Auscheck Zeit aus dem Zimmer geschickt worden.

Me gustó mucho la estancia en si.. fue desconexión total. Todo muy bien.

Wonderful rural hotel with fantastic garden, pool and outdoor dining facilities. Warm welcome after a long walk. The welcome drink in the bar area was a relief. Tastefully well renovated room with very large bathroom.

El lugar es maravilloso y eso que surgieron dos problemas que se convirtieron en virtud: la piscina se había estropeado y nos dejaron usar la del dueño (al lado, contigua) y por otro lado, sonó la alarma de madrugada y nos despertó a todos los huéspedes. Sé que algunos de ellos pidieron devolución, yo no lo hice pero igualmente me devolvieron. Muy agradecido por resarcir las molestias.

There were no other guests so there were no breakfast for only the two of us prepared

The pool looked a little cloudy not very inviting to swim in We only dipped our feet in the water

Very enjoyable stay. It has a swimming pool. The staff was friendly and the facilities were great. Enjoyed home cooked lasagna after a long day of walking.

It was an absolute delight to stay at Casa do Rio. Everything was perfect from the quality of the linen provided to a lovely setting in the garden having a delicious meal prepared by Sandra. It was my husband’s 60th birthday and they made our evening so special and even sang happy birthday 🥳

A nice hotel host was welcoming

There was a bit if confusion over the room and it was a little way off the camino. The host offered meals which were over a bit overpriced and after doing the camino you didn't want to walk back into town for a meal.

I loved the low key elegant but relaxed vibe of this family run property. The check in was lovely, we were offered a drink of choice and a nice comfy lounger as we were personally checked in. Our room was beautifully decorated and comfortable and we loved the soaking tub. We appreciated being able to eat dinner and breakfast at the property and it was very good!

Wonderful place to rest after a day on the Camino. The room was very large, nicely decorated, and clean. The outdoor sitting area/bar was very relaxing. It was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful setting.

It's a beautiful property with medieval vibes, but not in a tacky way. The staff were responsive and helpful. Room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast (€10 per pax) was quite nice also.

The location is quite a ways away from the Camino and there are no restaurants nearby. So you're forced to have dinner there, which was not great. Dinner was around €15-17 per person but it just felt like packaged food that was heated up.

The property was beautiful and Victor, the owner, took such pride in it. The room and tub were spectacular after a long day on the Camino. Loved sitting by the pool, relaxing, and meeting new friends.

I wish more time put into the pool. It was a really hot day and the pool is a nice focal point of yard.

walking the camino, we were exhausted and stuck at a cafe that was still an hour walk away. unable to secure an Uber or Taxi, we texted the lodging and their employee came to pick us up! truly top notch service. a refreshing pool, warm room, delightful communal dinner and breakfast. it felt like such a luxury and respite after some hard days of walking.

היה לנו חדר לשלושה, חדר ברמה מאוד גבוהה מאובזר גדול ונוח. אפשר בתשלום לקבל ארוחת ערב (סבירה) המארח מאוד ידידותי.

המקום מרוחק בשביל הקמינו יותר מ 1 קמ.

The property was stunning. It was beautifully decorated and we felt very welcomed. And we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner at the property, after hiking all day. What a treat.

La habitación algo justa para 3 personas y el sofá cama bastante incómodo.

De gastheer is erg vriendelijk, gastvrij en meedenkend. Grote kamer.

Er kon geen verwarming aan om bijvoorbeeld kleren te drogen. En het bed was erg doorgezakt en lag niet lekker. Het eten was lekker maar niet warm.

Room was a little dark for our liking

It is 1 km off the Camino but well worth the extra hike. You get a four poster bed in a semi medieval farm setting. Sounds weird but it works. Best night sleep we had on the Camino.

Check in times are critical. Communicate very clearly when you plan to arrive or you might shut out.

L’accueil chaleureux de Victor et l’endroit de toute beauté dans le calme et l’authenticité

Живописное, тихое, атмосферное местечко. Всё ,как на фото, очень чисто и ухоженно, похоже на сказочный зАмок .Белоснежные постели и полотенца.Необходимые удобства. Если хотите сбежать от городской суеты и шума, то вам сюда! Дружелюбный персонал. Бассейн и зона у бассейна расслабляли в конце насыщенного дня, после пеших прогулок по достопримечательностям Браги .

Немного далековато от хороших ресторанов , но если готовы выезжать вечером до Браги, чтобы поужинать, то вопрос решен.

Os quartos são espaçosos e confortáveis, as camas também muito confortáveis. O.anfitrão muito gentil e simpático. A área exterior é grande e muito agradável.

Es una preciosidad de hotel y también sus exteriores. Cenamos l aire libre y pudimos disfrutar de la piscina. Extremadamente atentos y muy detallistas

Higiene e decoração

El lugar todo el recinto es un encanto y muy coqueto nos hubiera gustado probar el desayuno pero no pudimos ya que teníamos que salir y recién levantados no tenemos hambre.

El ruido de los coches al pasar ya que son adoquines y la calle justo está a la misma altura del techo de nuestra habitación y era bastante molesto con unos tapones para los oídos lo solucionemos, el resto todo estupendo , bonito jardín, dueño muy amable, mujer de limpieza o trabajadora que llegó por la mañana muy simpática y amable, piscina muy coqueta, todo correcto excepto el ruido al pasar los coches mejor en habitación que no de a la calle adoquinada.

Numa localização fantástica para quem quer sossego e descansar. Próximo, existem restaurantes e supermercado, apesar de ser necessário usar o carro. Tem jantar disponível mas termina cedo, provavelmente compreensível para o tipo de cliente. Para entrar, temos que “tocar” na antiga campainha.

O pequeno-almoço não é mau, mas podia ser melhor. Temos que nos lembrar que a única comparação que temos é com os hotéis. E também que estamos a falar dum alojamento com 6 quartos (salvo erro). Mas era suficiente, para mim.

El enclave es precioso, edifico histórico con comodidades de ahora. La habitaciones ambientadas con el entorno con muy buen gusto . la ropa de cama excelente. Todo en muy buen estado y la limpieza excepcional. La atención fue muy buena y continua. Las dos personas que nos atendieron durante la estancia encantadoras. La piscina también la disfrutamos . No desayunamos porque disponíamos de vehículo y vimos muchas pastelerías/ cafeterías por los alrededores .Todo muy bien .

Yo esperaba que limpiaran la habitación e hicieran las camas todos los días , pero o fue el caso . Quizás esté así estipulado y yo no fura consciente . Por lo demás si buscas tranquilidad es el lugar ideal .
