Agua Clara Eco Suites

The bed and pillows were very hard making sleep very uncomfortable. Don’t know if the facility offers options. I asked for a roll out bed up on arrival but never received it. Otherwise the place was clean and modern. The staff was responsive

The property is clean , safe, Quiet, staff friendly, I didn’t get any warm water in my tap for a shower, and the bed was a little too hard , I didn’t like the entrance to the property if it’s improved I would visit again

Kindly staff

Really cute apartment, very friendly staff. I enjoyed my visit!

the rooms are very outdated. very hard cushions. overall, it was okay. perfect location.

Perfect for what we needed. Felt safe and secluded. 10/10 would stay again

I am not sure how Expedia rated this place excellent or a VIP … this is no more than a 2 star condo/ hotel and that’s pushing it. The only good thing about this place was the lady at the front desk… super sweet lady willing to help. The AC did not work properly, the water pressure was super low and either comes out cold or very hot ,( no medium), broken tiles, floor stains, stains on the towels, if you see the shower, in person you will be wearing sandals at all times, the pool was dirty… this place needs to be upgraded a lot to start calling it VIP or Excellent to stay.

Bed very uncomfortable and pillows , very little water in the shower . It was clean and close to everything that was good . Last day the lady that cleans . Was bagging on my door opening it not even 10:20 am I found that very disrespectful.

Loved it so much. Probably my favorite hotel I can remember in my entire life.

nice place to stay

My wife and I recently stayed at your property, aqua clara from 19 to 26 January 2025, and we were pleased with many aspects of our stay, including the location to places, cleanliness of the room or the courteous staff. However, I regret to inform you of an issue we encountered during our visit. When booking our stay through Expedia, we were explicitly informed that breakfast was included as part of the reservation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that breakfast was not offered, which caused inconvenience for us during our stay. The availability of breakfast was a key factor in our decision to book at your hotel, and we had planned our mornings accordingly. Not having this service disrupted our plans and led to unexpected additional expenses. Given that the breakfast was part of the advertised package, we kindly request compensation for this shortfall. We believe this is a fair resolution to address the inconvenience caused by the unfulfilled promise. Please let us know how you would like to proceed in resolving this matter. We look forward to your response and hope to find a satisfactory resolution that reflects your commitment to guest satisfaction. Thank you for your time and understanding. Please feel free to reach out to me for any additional details.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay here and lady at tge desk was a lovely person.

This property was good for this price point. It is located near a local neighborhood but I found the locals extremely welcoming and never felt unsafe.

We like it

Room was clean and cool. There was no inside parking. Parking lot is too far from the apt.

Was clean and safe

This property was gorgeous and very clean. The owners are very sweet, communicated well, and made us feel very comfortable.

Good

Hello guys when are ready to visit Aruba this is your best place. You are 12 minutes away from Hyatt and 10 minutes away from the airport best service and affordable I’m coming back again

Nice and Quiet relaxing property

The grounds and pool were very well maintained. The small apt was nice. Staff is great here! We will be returning!

Very nice

The distance from everything

One week stays Feeling like home

Front desks staff amazing. Property and pool very clean.

Nice safe quiet spot. Beds could be more comfortable and information on shower

Conveniently located, nice staff, responsive communication. Property is nice but average, no daily cleaning service makes the experience quite inconvenient, we didn’t have cutlery in the room, missing one dish, overall that part can definitively be improved.

Property manager's timely communication to prepare for our arrival and pair of dress shoes that were forgotten was excellent. Thank you very much!

Closed by the airport

I loved the grounds around the apartments. They've tried hard to make it look like a little oasis. What I didn't like was that there was no dish soap and no hot water in any sink. There was hot water to shower, but no hot water anywhere else. It seems like there is no way the dishes could be properly cleaned without hot water??

This place is good for someone who already knows Aruba, because it’s far away from the tourist area and the beaches. The beaches are at least 20 mins or so. Recommend it only if you have a car and also just want to save money.

I got a quality room for the price I paid. I was impressed with how nice the room was. I only wish there was shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and free coffee

Quiet

Was more than willing to help me with my traveling and made the place feel more like home than a place to stay. Very happy

Really really easy to both check in and check out. Great service and nice and quiet place to rest and be within quick driving distance to everything.

Gated hotel, clean rooms.

I booked last minute and arrived after their normal reception hours and they left the beach to come take care of me and get me taken care of - Many thanks!

clean room and good enough for my stay. In the kitchen only missing a coffee maker. central location

This property is not what tthe pictures show. There is no one around after 5 pm. They only work from 8 to 5, Monday thur Friday. No one is there on the weekend. The restaurants are 2 miles away. No bus line or taxi service available. If you want to get away from someone or be alone. Then, this is the hotel. I don't rate business, I was very disappointed and left the next morning.

Room was very clean and area is quiet allowing for a good night sleep. Is has a small kitchen which is good since there are no restaurants in the area.

Great location to all , major roadways making getting around very easy. Daniel the owner very nice individual, felt as if this was like home. And sweet little Maria always cleaning and making breakfast when requested.

Great choice

Nothing much to say, was there for work. I just overnight at the place.

Great place especially when traveling for business. Quiet, Comfortable, centrally located near the airport and town and Restaurants nearby.

Great

Beautiful and quiet, Super friendly staff, Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay. We will be happy too stay an other time

This is a nearly new property in perfect shape. The staff are very helpful in spite of a small difference in language. At first we worried it was to far from the ocean but we wanted to explore the whole island which we did in a short week and had a great trip going to many of the beaches. The hotel made a the vacation the place to stay. Thanks Richard and Therese

The property is small cozy and relaxing. It is great for people that do not want to stay in a big hotel. The room was large and nice.

At a glance the property does not seem great. However, the room was very clean and the staff was nice. A clean up of small weeds around the pool and a few potted flowers would make it more appealing. There is a nice outdoor seating area under a tree that is very nice and relaxing. Overall, once you get past the initial view of the property it is good for the price.

The Manager was very helpful, its a quite area and the cost per night was very affordable. You have bike that can be rented and the location is 5 mins from the airport.

Property is very nice, good pool and sitting area. Staff was also very nice. The problem was the air conditioning made the room smell like mildew. If the windows opened this wouldn't be a problem. However, only the window in the shower opened so we had to sleep with the door open to get the breeze. It was definitely the AC when off the room was nice.

This property is new, clean, the manager pick up me at airport and drop of, very pleasant. I recoment this property 100%. I use it againg.

Airport pickup, close to the airport, and close to my next destination..............Arikok. Good wifi...................... Not much around there but the staff was helpful getting me where I had to go. I was walking.

Nice, clean facility. Great service by Staff. The bed was small, but since I was alone no problem. The fridge made to much noise

Picked up from the airport after 10pm - good result. Air con in the bedroom was very good and the Wifi was also very good. Location was quiet and the room was clean but the toilet was constantly leaking water all over the bathroom. ECO???? This was reported to the reception but nothing was done about it. On the second day the toilet handle broke so the only way of flushing the toilet was to take the heavy porcelain lid off and pull the little chain manually with your arm up to it's elbow in water. Call this a holiday? Check out is at 11am so we asked the reception lady if we could stay one more hour on out check out day until midday as our flight didn't leave until 4pm. She said yes no problem. On the day of our departure there was a knock at the door at 11.45am informing us we had to pay $10 extra because we didn't check out at 11am. It was the same receptionist smiling assassin who had told us we could stay until midday. Why din't she call our room and ask why we hadn't left at 11am?? She also told us we could not get the free shuttle to the airport because we checked out late?? Check out time - After having quit a heated argument with the hotel staff we were verbally informed the shuttle bus times were between 08:30am - 10:30am. I asked the staff where it states this information as it's not mentioned in the room or the booking confirmation. The staff said is doesn't say it anywhere and there's nothing we can do about that. We had to pay $15 for a taxi to the airport. So, on the topic of warning signs...wow...I've travelled all over the world and spend 80% of my time in hotels. I've never witnessed so many rules and regulations within the hotel room. There's a $10 fine if bath towels are dirty, don't do this and don't do that. There are warning signs in every room in the apartment. This hotel is out to make money for sure! The cooker is gas and works well, and other kitchen utensils are adequate. Would we stay here again? Absolutely not because this wasn't exactly a holiday experience and there are too many other places to stay in Aruba. Be careful of the receptionist as she is full of smiles but has a few metaphorical knives up her sleeve if you know what I mean.

Friendly owner and helpfull, the apartment was ok(less the mattress and the equipment of the kitchen is poor only 2 old pans and a pot)the pool is nice, not very busy and good situated. Near the airport.

I had the chance to stay at Agua Clara for one night due to a long lay over, the hotel is really conveniently located, 10 min from the airport, so if you are staying one night in Aruba this is an excellent option! Even for a long stay it could work as well, since they have kitchen aid, microwave and fridge, obviously it will also depend on your choices and if you are picky well this I not for you, although I am really picky and worked for me. I would stay here for a week, it is now close to the beach but is like 15 min away. Please consider is not a big hotel but is clean and neat, it has a pool, AC, save, clean bathroom and bedroom. Make sure if you stay tell them In advance the arrival time since the front desk close early. They can even pick you up at the airport for a better rate than the local taxi. Will stay again at agua Clara.

Agua Clara eco suites is a very nice place to stay. It is not a busy place. U can relax there and they have also a pool. It is recomended for a short vacation because the rooms has no balcony. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. I really enjoyed there.

Off the beaten track, but near the airport. The hotel itself was fine: very clean, well-maintained, with AC in the bedroom. Next door to the hotel lived a pack of barking dogs, one in particular that barked continually. If barking dogs don't interfere with you getting a good night sleep, this is the place for you! On another note, the kitchen is very basic (two burners, microwave, mini fridge, mini sink), but equipped with pots, dishes that are not microwave safe, and cutlery. I wouldn't use anything without washing it first as the kitchen only has cold water and no dish soap. I used shampoo and heated the water on the burner.
