Green Bay Samed Resort

Läget är väldigt bra. Fantastisk strand bara över vägen. Rummen helt ok.

Wonderful location, very close to all the restaurants and also wonderful beach location. Recommend!

Trevlig personal å låg perfekt

Decent priced smaller and modest resort, good for a couple of nights. Very close to the main beach. Rooms were a bit tiny, and you could hear the traffic to your room.

The pool doesn’t have jets or a circulation filter and is full of insects. The nightclub is behind the resort on top the hill and you hear loud music at night. The walls are paper thin and you hear other guests and workers banging on metal.

The staff at the resort were really friendly and helpful . Would recommend this resort to other travellers

The hotel is a 2 min walk to main beach. It has a Thai style bathroom but is clean and nice. The best part about the hotel is the staff. They are all friendly and extremely helpful. They are always available and ready to help.

This small hotel lies in a turn of the main road, literally 20-25 metres from the beach. The receptionist is probably the nicest person we have met so far in any hotel in Thailand. Se took us in hand from the fort moment we came in the door and saw us onward when we left. The hotel itself is a smaller, the premises are nice and breakfast is served outside. The pool was being repaired, but with the sea jus outside, this was not a problem. Rooms are small without being miniscule. We had a choice of two different ones. There is a possibility to shower and change on your day of checkout, so catching the last ferry (at 1700) gave us a whole extra day on the beach. Will definitely come again, next time on Samet island.

Tuolla tunsi olevan arvostettu vieras.Hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla.Tie välissä ja biitsi heti sen jälkeen.Ruokapaikkoja löytyi paljon vierestä ja netti toimi loistavasti!Aamupala oli oikein hyvä ja monipuolinen.Suosittelen ehdottomasti hotellia!

Erinomainen palvelu, viihtyisä ja hyvin pidetty hotelli lähellä rantaa ja keskustaa.

Breakfast was just ok, but I was really with everything else. Very attentive staff, clean rooms and close to everything.

Fint hotell, god frokost og bra lokasjon

Fantastic location... Great service and clean hotel with everything avaliable to have fun on the beach. Try to get rooms facing the beach 🏖.

Small thai style hotel. Manager felt a bit controlling but friendly service. When you check in you get a lecture about the island and surely get to now if you stain the sheet you will pay. For every item in the room It is a price list if broken :)

Excellent location, right at the end of Sai Kaew beach, just accross the road. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room large, clean and we had a sea view. Breakfast good, especially the omlettes. Can hire a moped from here - might be a little more pricey, but no fuss, no leaving passport or deposit. Fully recommend the Hotel.

A quiet hotel with great location. Bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The town ccentre and beaches easily accesisble by foot or local transport from outside the hotel. Staff were very friendly and polite. The room was spotless and comfortable. On-site shop for everyday neccessities. Great location for an evening drink on the terrace by the rooms or on the properties street front bar area. Definitely recommend

In a prime location on skeaw beach . Couldn't ask for more . Great attentive staff . 5stars

Kiva kohtuuhintainen hotelli ihan Sai Kaew beachin vieressä.

Absolute gem of a hotel in Koh Samet, excellent location just 2 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the main town with lots of restaurants and places to have a drink. Staff are amazing, really helpful and always happy. Breakfast best one we’ve had in Thailand. Would definitely recommend

Small property clean and friendly

Veldig behagelig

Excellent simple hotel in a great location. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Very clean, great beaches nearby, and the AC and water pressure were sufficient. Tons of restaurants within 5 minutes. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Nice stay in quiet room. Reception and food service were friendly and joyful

Great hotel, almost right on the beach. Near everything you will want to do.

Brilliant family run hotel. Service was excellent, rooms well kept and clean. The staff are very attentive. Bed comfortable. Resort very well kept Close to all main attractions Fresh cooked and self service option. A gem of a place.... I'll he back 😊

Well-maintained property, which is a plus - as many of the hotels on Koh Samet are a little run down. It's at the end of Hat Sai Kaew Beach, so everything is walkable. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed for 3 nights and would gladly stay again.

Good location on the side of the main beach. Not too noisy but convenient. Walkable distance from the center via the main road which is next to the hotel. Really helpful, happy and friendly staff. And really good breakfast. In the room we would've liked to have a place to keep our bags other than the floor (bench etc.). We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place!

Hotel well located but not in the beach. Nice staff and friendly. room very basic and the sheets were not clean. Breakfast good

The staff are very helpful and went out of their way for you. Very organised. Nothing negative to say.

Enkelt hotell, men bra service og bra renhold. Veldig fin beligghenhet. Kan anbefales.

Hyvällä paikalla! Mukava henkilökunta. Aamupala hyvä.

Fotos in expadia waren schöner als in wirklichkeit. Zimmer waren sauber, ausstattung ok.

The staff offered very detailed introduction of the tourist spots on the island upon check in. Welcome drink is served with warm welcome. There are items for snorkeling for borrowing free of charge, including life saving jacket, snorkel, fins, beach mat, etc. Towels, bags and sandals can also be brought out of the hotel for use. The breakfast include food on demand and semi buffet. The location is convenient from the pier, beaches and restaurants by walking, riding motorcycle or by taxi.

The location is very nice and receptionist is very accommodating....

Everything was fine! Excellent small hotel near the huge white beach. Comfortable, convenient. Very good breakfast. Would certainly stay there again!

Excellent value for money in a very clean and comfortable room. While it's not right on the beach, and it's not in a secluded location, it is across the street from the white sand beach in a pleasant area, with plenty of beach restaurants and convenient stores nearby. It's close enough to walk in town. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they give little perks like a few free soft drinks and snacks and free use of beach items for playing and floating. The breakfast is very good, with buffet style, plus guests can order a dish.

Aek (frontdesk man.) gav mange brugbare info. 500 Bath givet godt ud. 😃😃

Helt underbar super frukost personalen helt perfekta. 😃🍾

Läget på ön perfekt. Personalen fantastisk. Frukost helt ok. Vi är mycket nöjda.

The hotel staff was absolutely amazing!!!

Bra frukost. Hjälpsam personal. Nära vägen men stör inte mycket. Bra säng. Enda minus en högljudd A/C.

Grei standard, nært til strand. Fin service og veldig bra wi-fi.

Super friendly staff. All amazing! The location, stuff, food, beach, so clean, easy acess, beautiful place. Very nice resort, I recomend and will come again.

Helt fantastisk opphold! Vi var forberedt på enkle forhold. Det er et lite hotell ved stranden. Stranden var over all forventning!

Everything was good. In particular the service/hospitality: Aek is truly the most helpful person you can imagine. She provided such useful advice, assistance, recommendation, suggestions.....

Ideally situated on Koh Summed. The staff and in particular the manageress simply could not do enough for you. my second visit to this hotel and if I go back I will stay again.

This is in no way a $50.00 a night room. After seeing the room I would have guessed it should cost around $15.00. I have traveled around Thailand extensively and have stayed in rooms costing from $10-$150 per night (with a majority on the lower end). I didn't want to unpack my bags here it felt so disgusting. Since I had a long day of travel and was exhausted, I didn't check out and try to get a refund from hotels.com. Yes, the service was good and they were friendly at check in, but that does not make up for the dark, dank room. For the price, you can find better, newer, cleaner hotels located right on the beach and with a pool. The rooms are dark and don't feel clean. I had to walk down a dark walkway at night with no lights, so was fortunate to have my phone with flash light. At breakfast I was talking to the couple sitting next to me and asked what they thought of the hotel, and the husband's response was, "disgusting". Don't spend more than $15 for this place, keep looking.

Stayed close to the beach at this convenient nice clean hotel a block from the beach. Nice restaurant nearby. Nice clean hotel with very good reception and breakfast. Would recommend.

If you enjoy living in a dump next to a busy street that isn't on the beach then you would love this spot. This place should not charge more than $15 to $20 a night at best. There are mosquitoes, it's loud, mold in the bathroom, a bathroom with an aweful shower, no closet space, tv only in Thai, and not on the beach. Also you have to pay 200 baht to enter the section of the island.

Was comfortable and near enough to all of the action.

While Koh Samed is by far the dirtiest island I have visited in Thailand, the Green Bay Samed Resort is a notable exception. We really enjoyed our stay there because after a day on the island it was a relief to come back to the cleanliness of our hotel room. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful and gave us good tips on outings. But my brother stayed at another hotel (also recommended by the staff at Green Bay, btw, since he didn't book anything in advance like we did) and they refused to let him come up to our room. I also saw other guests who wanted to talk with friends and the staff dragged away the friends to the bar outside. Very strange to me and I never understood why. Only one of the staff spoke half decent English. I never got exactly what I wanted when I asked for something. Fortunately, I have a Thai wife and I just let her do all the talking. For three days stay we only got one single refill of the soap and shampoo. Every other hotel I've stayed at, even the cheap ones, refill those things every day. I went to ask for it and then I got more, but I don't think I should need to ask for that. Overall we had a good experience here. But there were many minor things to be a bit annoyed about.

Nice resort. Beach is near. Service was awesome. Breakfast was good. Clean Hotel. I recommend this place.

Really friendly staff and a good location close to the beach, restaurants and bars.

I stayed in the hotel for a short stay, one night. It was clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The hotel manager was really helpful and went one step ahead in helping me to solve some logistical problems of the trip. I would come back definitely.
