Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyard

Local bastante bonito.

Staff "segura " o espumante do café da manhã e diz 1ue so ha 2 garrafas para todos do café da manhã que dura 3h30. Isso pq estamos hospedados em uma vinícola. Equipe do restaurante e do hotel parece não se comunicar direito- aconteceu 2 situações onde isso ficou claro.

La vue, l’emplacement et le style de l’hôtel.

Suite vieillissante. Douche bouchée pendant tout le séjour et la climatisation qui fuyait dans le dressing. Petits insectes au sol de la salle de bain tous les matins. Nous l’avons signalé mais rien n’a été fait. (1250€ la nuit tout de même)! Tables et sol du restaurant pas très propre. Idem dans la chambre ménage à revoir, pas très soignée.

Beautiful hotel, exceptional service. The hotel is a few minutes from town but the shuttle works seamlessly to transport guests to and from town including dinner.

The location was fabulous with the most beautiful views from the room, pool and restaurant. We loved playing garden games and hopping in and out of the pool with our kids

It is a short drive/walk in to town but this wasn’t a problem due to the free shuttle.

Possibly one of the most beautiful hotels and location I have ever stayed in. Exceptional staff. Food amazing . The views!!! Just book it!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, das Personal zugewandt und sehr aufmerksam und Poolboy Alistair ist eine Freude.

Podia melhorar a rapidez do serviço durante as refeições no restaurante principal (estavam poucos funcionários na sala) e a variedade do pequeno almoço.

Foi uma maravilha a nossa estadia! Chegamos tarde da noite e nos preparam um lanche caso estivéssemos com fome. Além disso, toda a equipe é sempre extremamente atenciosa. Infelizmente, só dormimos uma noite, mas gostaríamos de voltar para aproveitar com calma.

Nothing really. The only exception is that the food at their main restaurant, Miko, isn’t very good and falls well below the standard of similar restaurants in Franschhoek. As this is a standalone restaurant rather than an integral part of the hotel I still felt 10/10 was fair

Stunning location, spectacular scenery and an oasis of calm and tranquiiity. Had the feeling of an English country cottage but staying in the Pinotage suite with its exposed beams and thatched roof, it also felt like an African lodge.

We had a fantastic time at Mont Rochelle! Perfect location and the attention to details throughout was amazing! Our room was fabulous - impeccably clean. The staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable - truly the best service, I think I have ever experienced - done in a friendly and unobtrusive way. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be back again.

Your property is truly beautiful, but for the price we paid, the room felt surprisingly small and the bathroom was also below the standard expected from a premium 5-star hotel. I’m sure you have larger room categories, but the value-for-money for the room we received was quite poor compared to similar properties we’ve stayed at. The pool was a little underwhelming for such a premium property, and the absence of a jacuzzi or cold plunge in the spa felt unusual, especially for a hotel of this calibre.

Hele fijne setting, mooie tuinkamers met prachtig uitzicht. Hele fijne lieve staff. Stuk voor stuk professionals. Veel humor.

Het hotel heeft geen lift. Onhandige trappenhuizen. Slecht ter been: niet fijn.

We stayed at Mont Rochelle for our 3 year wedding anniversary trip, and it was truly unforgettable. When planning, we narrowed our choices down to La Residence or Mont Rochelle, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt the warmth and hospitality of the team. A special mention goes to Peter, whose energy and enthusiasm could be felt from the moment we met him—you could hear his voice from across the property, and his positivity instantly set the tone for our stay. He not only made us feel welcome but also gave us excellent recommendations for local wineries and even arranged a fantastic dinner reservation at Leeu Estate, which was a highlight of our trip. The property itself is absolutely stunning—surrounded by vineyards and mountains, it feels like a serene escape. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared with anniversary goodies from the manager, Annette, who also took the time to personally greet us at breakfast, which made the experience feel even more special. Every detail, from the attentive service to the relaxed yet elegant vibe, made our stay exceptional. We left feeling so cared for and already can’t wait to return—perhaps in the summer or during harvest season to experience Mont Rochelle in a different light.

We had the Pinotage room which was very spacious and included a separate lounge. There were complimentary Miko wines in the room as well as complimentary chocolate & wine tasting. The shuttle bus was a bonus. Staff were brilliant, so helpful and attentive.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations.
