I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND First night I check in. I was a little suspicious of the bed sheets. I was itching a lot and so next morning I was asking the host at the reception regarding the washing of the sheets. It seemed like he was really trying to avoid my question and he didn't seem to have patience for me. This is the tall Japanese guy (bald, wears glasses, middle aged). Second night was a bit better but still not very comfortable. And then the next morning was perhaps the worst experience I've ever had in a hostel here in Japan: Checkout is at 10:00. At 9:50 the guy was starting to put pressure on me that I need to checkout already and told me I cannot wash my face in the shower because he wants to clean there now (couldn't give me 10 seconds for a quick wash. All my bags were ready btw outside of the room). I then go downstairs to put my luggage at the luggage storage area. A few minutes later the guy asks me when I plan to leave, and seemed unsatisfied when I asked him very politely if I could go explore a bit and come take my stuff at lunch. At first it still seemed ok, but 2 minutes after he "all of a sudden" has to urgently go to the hospital (as he said), took my bags and dropped them on the table next to me, started locking windows, opened the door and waited for me outside the door for me to leave... I was thinking wtf? He said he is leaving and therefore he wants to lock up this place. His logic made no sense at all. There are literally more people in the hostel so how does that justify having specifically me leave now. I was quite flabbergasted. My luggage is really heavy + it was pouring rain outside (since yesterday it was training). I asked him if at the very least it's possible to borrow an umbrella (the have a basket with free to use umbrellas) just so I could go to the near convenience store to buy my own umbrella and then return the one I burrowed.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026木の温もりが感じられて心地よかった。 スタッフさんや受付のお兄さんがとても優しく、おすすめのスポットやご飯屋さんなどを話してくださりとても楽しかった。
チェックアウトした日、朝に荷物を預けてチェックアウトし、それから伊勢神宮などを周り昼頃に荷物を取りに戻りましたが、受付のお兄さんがおらず直接お礼を言えなかった事が心残りです。提案してくださった通りに観光できて効率よく楽しめて、大変満足しております！

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026施設も来ているお客さんたちもひっくるめて雰囲気がとても良いです。 オーナーさんはとても親切で丁寧、施設内もとても手がゆきどいています。ドミトリーのベッドも木造りで、硬めのベッドが好きなのでとても寝心地良かったです。お風呂用品も無添加のもので安心です。 今回は利用しませんでしたが、キッチンも使い出が良さそうです。

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026絵本に出てきそうな夢のある建物で、コンパクトで温もりのある空間で快適に過ごすことができました。 清潔で、夜も静か。 スタッフの方の対応がとても良く、気持ちよく過ごせました。 朝食に100円で気の利いたパンが食べられます。 伊勢神宮内宮まで歩いて行ける距離感も良かったです。 今回は1泊だったが、次は連泊で泊まってみたいです。
レイト・チェックインには追加料金がかかるという記載を見落としていたかもしれません。 ですが、もう少し分かりやすいところに記載があった方が良かったです。 今回は到着が9時半を過ぎてしまい追加料金が必要になってしまいましたが、直前にその旨の連絡があったので納得できる対応でした。

I stayed in the dorm and I had a great experience. But if hostels aren't your thing/prefer your privacy, probably nothing here would change that. The beds offer decent privacy though. As well private rooms are available.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026萬分感恩。入住前一天，我老公在酷暑中病倒，醫生說必須留在室內休息幾天，尤其避免正午時段的高溫。我透過booking.com詢問Kazami，他們很親切地表達關心，並即時表示牌盡管正常入住是4pm後，但因情況特殊，只要我們在早上10時職員離開接待處前抵達，願意給我們提早入房休息。我們訂的是一間三人房和一個床位，我老公和孩子們待在三人房休息了整個下午，到黃昏他終於好轉，可以在就近的餐廳吃點易消化的東西。我們固然感恩於Kazami上下眾人的親切、仁慈、和靈活，同時也深感旅舍的中心位置真的太好太方便，令沒有駕車的我們也可以在這狀態輕易來到，也能輕易找到各類餐廳。再次感謝旅舍主人Hiro、前台職員Kentai和另一位沒機會問到名字的女職員的佛心。宿費廉宜、環境簡潔而舒適，人情無價。

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026旅店的老闆和員工熱情友善，且英語能力很好，就算用破破的日語搭配英語也能有效溝通。 住宿床位很大，可供像我這樣190公分的高個平躺。整個旅館都有著木頭的香氣，非常舒適，且有共用廚房和冰箱可供住宿的旅客使用。也有100円的小麵包可供住客購買。 而且旅館離車站非常近，出站後大約走個十分鍾便會抵達旅館，位置也相當便利，附近有著許多好吃的餐廳和便利商店。 下次再來伊勢獨旅，一定會再次選擇這間旅店。
隔壁床的住客打呼聲很大，不過對我完全沒有影響，我還是安然入睡。 床邊的電源插座僅有一個。

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026A lovely guest house. Welcoming atmosphere; excellent location; comfortable little sanctuary right in the middle of Ise close to the train-station and many food options. Very short walk to the outer shrine which is beautiful and a short easy bus ride to the inner shrine and an easy short train ride to the wedded rocks shrine. We really enjoyed our conversations with Kenta (sorry probably incorrect spelling) and the other people who worked there were also very welcoming. We were glad we stayed in this area as it worked much better for us to have this as our base where there is more access to food later in the evening and easy access to the train station - than stay near the central shrine that seems to become very quiet after 5pm with not many dinner options. Wonderful to have access to a washing machine too. Thanks so much

寝てた方のイビキが気になりました。 匂いが気になるほうなので、換気とか頻繁に出来ると良かったです。 他の方もいる手前、仕方ないことではあります。

Reviewed May 16, 2026木質風格住宿，床鋪下層給與的高度夠高，意外睡得很放鬆，公共空間有提供100円的麵包及免費咖啡茶包使用，公共廚房及冰箱也方便讓旅客自行料理與借放冷飲，很方便。
淋浴與洗手台（刷牙洗臉吹頭髮用）只有兩間與兩台，當天住宿人多就會需要等待使用。睡覺比較容易被隔壁床整理行李的聲音或是走路的聲音影響，淺眠者需再三考慮。

Reviewed May 10, 2026The house is just amazingly designed. The owner said it was inspired by the feeling of living with animals in the forest. I was amazed at how the walls can be adjusted so that there's more beds in the male room or more in the female despite them being solid wood. The location was absolutely strategic, next to the station and close to the nearest eateries. It was so easy to locate it because of the unique design. The bed was comfortable! There was a spacious place for me to put my bags without hindering others, or them me. There was a small locker at my bed for valuables. It felt homey and cozy. I really really had good almost 7 nights here.
I'd say the cold. It was pretty cold when I was there at the end of Spring. The sink near the female dorm didn't have hot water, so I always wake up to wash with freezing water. I had trouble with the bidet, the water doesn't keep running, it turns itself off in a few second. Also, my situation was unique, a digital nomad. I needed to work during my stays but the whole house is aired out in the day, and the heater is not turned on until late at night. So working in the common space was extremely cold and trying to search space outside that is quiet, warm, and free wifi was hard.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026お伊勢さんの至近でこのくつろぎ空間はとても贅沢だなあと思いました。個室もパブリックスペースもとても居心地よかったです。お部屋もとても清潔でスペースもゆったりしてました。朝ごはんに買えるようになってるパンもおいしかったです。バスタブがなかったので割引チケットをいただいて近所の旭湯さんに行きました。面白いお湯でしたが歩いて行くにはちょっと遠かったのが唯一の難点かと。。。

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026This is a beautiful hostel. The owner remodeled it 7 years ago and you can easily see how much care him and the staff put into it. They are very welcoming and speak English. Also, they will introduce you to other travelers, which can be helpful to make new friends. The little 100¥ breads were also a nice addition. The place was spotless clean. It's true that the kitchen area is a bit small, but in my case it made it easier to make acquaintances with other people and I even made friends there. If you want more space, you can go downstairs. The location is also very convenient : close to two train stations connecting Nagoya, Osaka and Kyoto, and also close to the Outer shrine, bus stations to the inner shrine, Family Mart, nice Izakayas and also a nice sento. Everything was easy.

部屋に入ると異臭がして困った。 部屋にゴミ箱がなかったり、キッチンと食事場所が離れていたりと使い勝手が悪いので何度も部屋と別の場所を移動しないといけない。駐車場に車を入れる際に真横に段差があり見えにくいので乗り上げてしまうので危険です。

The vibe felt a little like high school boys, whose parents left town and they turned the house into a hostel. The aesthetic compared to many other places I’ve stayed in Japan over the years was rough. Hippie vibe with a smell to match. (To be clear, I mean the smell of the travelers, not the space itself.)

The futon/mattress is getting really worn out and the material goes to the side so the center is not thick for comfort: you definitely can feel the wood plank and feel like sleeping on wood. Which I experienced in too many hostel in Japan. I really have a doubt about the brown bedsheet for the blanket: is it really changed every day? The shared space on the first floor is nice but you have to sit on the wooden chair and there's no cushion for comfort. There is only one shower for the female dormitory of 6. The only sink with mirror is stuck in the hallway just before the toilet door which doesn't allow privacy and not very nice at all. Only cold water.

コンビニがら少し遠い 布団カバーの替えがなかった 部屋、扉の建て付けが少し傾いてて鍵が閉まりにくかった

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026とても親しみ安いオーナーさん、スタッフさんで気持ち良く宿泊出来ました。お値段もとてもリーズナブルで、伊勢神宮外宮にもとても近くて早朝散歩も出来ます。 宿泊客同士でも、自然と挨拶を交わし、皆さん礼儀正しく、宿に満足されてるのがわかります。
得に不満な点はなかったですが、最初にご注意受け、壁が薄いようで大声を出さないように気を付けていました。

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026The owner of the guest was wonderfully kind, friendly and helpful. He took interest in the guests and it was so nice to talk with him. The guest house was very clean and had everything necessary. Will stay here again if I ever travel to Ise again!
