El Galleon Beach Resort

Das Personal war freundlich und hat geholfen bei Fragen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super. Direkt am Strand gelegen und gut zugänglich zu allem.

Es gab mehrere Stromausfälle während meines Aufenthalts. Während der Nacht konnte man niemanden an der Rezeption finden. Es gibt keine Zufahrtsstrasse, der Koffer wird von jemandem vom Hotel abgeholt. Das Hoteleigene Restaurant war nicht gut. Service war unaufmerksam und man verwechslete Bestellungen. Geschmeckt hat es auch nicht besonders. Preis-Leistung ganz schlecht!

We visited as a family with the purpose of diving. Excellent and professional set up. Staff were all so friendly and made us welcome. Great location too with plenty of places to eat near by. Food at El Galleon was equally as good. Transfers were easy from Manila via van to the port and water taxi straight to El Galleon.

Staff were great, food very interesting (in a good way). Diving easy from a jetty, not the beach. there was even wine available easily, and the cocktails and milk shakes brilliant!

Since I know from the pass I see unfortunately a not positive trend … I agreed to not clean my room every day but the staff didn’t clean even I asked for - cleaning level is medium - no cleaning since long time below the bed . The price was more then 100€ per night and that leads to an unfortunate rating .

Everything! Rooms were spotlessly clean and the restaurant food delicious. Comfy beds, hot water and the best water pressure we’ve experienced during our 5 x weeks travelling around the Philippines. The dive shop was well organised, good quality kit, and ran like clockwork. Needless to say the diving was great. Overall, the staff in all areas were excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return.

Breakfasts are very good. Don't get a better location. Dive facilities world class. Staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you are looked after.

Il resort è in una zona calma di Sabang. A piedi si raggiunge la movida facilmente. La stanza budget è molto confortevole, il ristorante ha un'ottima cucina.

Se non fate diving e siete più da spiaggia in luoghi remoti non andate a Puerto Galera. Ne restereste delusi.

Our room was nice for the 3 of us. It had 2 twin beds and a king bed. The window went to the alley and sometimes we got noise from people out there.

The owner met us at the dock and invited us into her beautiful resort. The location is perfect for this diving haven. Everything you need is on site and your are only a 5 minute walk to Sabang for the nightlife. The staff is so helpful and friendly! My buddy left his passport there and they helped arranged to get it back. They also can arrange for your transfer from Manila to the resort as well. So convenient and stress free. This is a hidden paradise

Nice clean rooms. Hotel, dinning and dive staff went above and beyond to care for us during our stay. Hotel food was a great value and tasty and had enough options for are whole group. The diving here is wonderful. They arranged transportation from the airport and back to Manila. Dive sites were all within a few minutes and the reef is beautiful and healthy.

The beds could use some updating.

Location was fantastic and the staff were always warm and friendly. The dive shop was well organised despite the Easter crowds and highly attentive

This is a resort with a lot of heart. I immediately felt welcomed by the community of divers and the staff. This is a place where people remember your name. The beds are comfortable, and the restaurant is very good. I can't say enough about Asia Divers, associated with the resort. I was always confident that I was in good hands.

Everything worked in the room. Very good staff. Nice restaurant overlooking the sea with a nice breeze. 5 - 10 min walk to Restaurants, Bars and night clubs. Good dive shop excellent instructors. Staying in one of the upper rooms is not for the infirm as the stairs are steep and there’s no lift. There’s no phone in the rooms so can’t call for service.

Everyone is friendly, the food is good and varied, the dive facilities are excellent and the crew, from boat and ground crew to dive guides and instructors are superb.

I liked most of the things. Staff. Dive sites Bunny, the dive master was incredible.

The room size. We had nowhere to store our bags Needed two beds and so there was barely a space to move. At night the whole room was vibrating off and on - when you jet lagged after a long flight, this noise/vibration at night makes diving less enjoyablein the morning .

The location is great near all dive sights , restaurants ( even they have great one in-house) , night life is 5 minutes walk distance

People should be mindful that this is a full service, upscale DIVE resort, not a luxury spa resort or something of that nature, so the luxuries and conveniences cater to divers and diving all day.

This resort lived up to our expectations. A great diving location, experienced dive guides and very healthy coral and sea life. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpfully. Dive boat crews looked after our gear after each dive and at the end of the day it was secured locked away. Our initial contact was with a wonderful lady, Allison, who arranged effortless transportation connections with car and ferry from Manila Airport.

Although my wife and I are not divers we enjoy the ambience of the resort and its beautiful setting right on the sea front. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the dining facilities are good. Happy Hour in the Point bar is great !

Nothing really.

Food was great. Room was as expected, a bit old but perfect for us. Hotel is very well situated on the « boardwalk » but not in the noisy-party part , just close enough to enjoy and sleep well. Diving was marvelous - great dive center. Service like if you were on a liveaboard!!

The location is great and it is a nice small resort

It is over priced for the region. The staff were overly keen to get us out of the room at 10:00am although our booking was until 11:30. They seemed to show much more concern for arriving rather than departing guests.

Fantastisk beliggenhed når dykning er primære formål. Har egen bådebro og velfungerende dykkerventer med hjælpsomt personale. Personale og ledelse på hotel og i restaurant er fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme. Maden er god, veltilberedt, hygiejnisk og i rigelige mængder. En del af hotellets bygninger trænger kraftigt til en renovering. Mange trapper og niveauforskelle, derfor ikke egnet for gangbesværede.

Awesome Terrasse and view, good food and service

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very close to the town of Sabang for conveniences, and my poolside room was very comfortable with everything I needed including a fridge. Love the hooks everywhere as I had plenty of wet gear that needed to dry out. The restaurant had a huge range of food options and the quality was pretty high. Pricier than other places I stayed in Philippines but not crazy high. Diving was good, and dive centre is close. Pleasant to sit on the water and have sea breezes. Staff was very attentive.

The location was excellent as it was only a short walk into Sabang. Asian Divers is attached to El Galleon which is why we chose to stay there. I have been diving all over the pacific for the last 40 years and the diving operation here is one of the best I have ever dived with. Very professional and organised. The whole resort was well run and friendly with an excellent menu. We all liked the happy hour at the Point Bar where you got two cocktails for the price of one. This was where all our evenings started.

The ocean view rooms involved quite a steep climb up a number of steeps.

I have being visiting this resort already 3 times and it is the best dive shop and resort in Puetro Galera

I was there for diving with Asia Divers which is located on the premises, with how close it was to the dive shop and everything I almost never left the premises outside of diving. The food was great, the room clean and nice, and spending the end of every dive day chatting to Pete and Kjell plus other divers at The Point, the bar above the dive shop, I had a blast. Will definitely return

the staff are all incredible, Alison is so accommodating and helpful when it came to arranging transportation and so welcoming on arrival, the food was good and they were very accommodating to adjusting the menu to vegan, all the staff were so friendly and warm, highly recommend staying here especially if you go for scuba diving

Great location for diving with Asia Divers. Restaurant and menu are very good. Service is great. Easy to stay here and dive. I had to leave a day earlier than planned due to weather. They arranged transportation on my way out which was very good.

Rooms are dated. I booked the cheapest room, so not sure what others are like, but mine was very basic. I was ok with that.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Perfect for dive trips since they have a wonderful and a very long standing dive shop. I ended up staying for 3 more nights. Ive enjoyed the seared tuna and tuna steak for meals, good brewed coffee. My room was comfortable with comfy mattress and bed sheets. Great dive staff as well. You can get the peace and quiet when needed. I stayed during slow weekdays. Fyi: They have a centralized tip box. I very much appreciate my experience here.

El Galleon is a great location with integrated resort and diving facilities. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to help us respond to travel changes and coordinate transport arrangements. The diving is great with many sites nearby and the dive team are very experienced.

Nothing - we had a great stay and everything more than met our expectations.

There’s a reason why I keep coming back to Asia Divers. Plus I keep introducing new divers to this place. We always have a great time.

Staff is amazing Allisson and Ruby are the best... they take careful of everything regarding helling with transport to and from the island... food was great... sadly I couldn't do any diving cause of an injury I had but it doesn't matter cause I know I will be coming again...

They made us feel comfortable and the staff are honest and respectful. I left my signature scarf and the housekeeper ran towards us and said “Mom, you forgot your scarf,” it’s a nice feeling when you know you’re safe. I got my money’s worth. I shall return.

The rooms are little bit outdated. Restaurant with good food and nice sea view and space-full open area.

I like the place, the kind of people stay at the resort the food and the staff are all friendly.

Let’s just start out with the ONLY negative item I can think of, for the stay... My in-room coffee pot didn’t work. That’s it. Everything else about the resort was excellent, exceptional, or some category better than that. . The room - Ocean front... Clean as could be. With a small nook table for charging technology. Nice linens. Nice pillows, etc. Small but absolutely functional. . The resort - Clean and well laid out. Nice open air bar area, which is a bit of a social hub. The usual beer selections, and always perfectly cold. . The staff - Simply amazing. Happy faces everywhere. From the front desk to the bar to the buffet. Seems that the daily cleaning tasks never end, but the ladies maintaining the grounds were up to the task. Always someone available to answer questions, refill coffee, or serve a cold beer. Departure was a bit sad, saying “bye” to the ladies. . Food - Way beyond what you would expect. Breakfast buffet was excellent (with “on demand” omelets). The other meals from the kitchen were all 10/10 as well. Tried a few other restaurants around town, but the El Galleon kitchen was by far the best around. . Dive shop / dive team - Couldn’t have been better! Professional, competent, knowledgeable, etc. another 10/10 performance. . I have stayed at quite a few 5 star resorts in my day. All with professional and competent service. The hospitality at El Galleon tips them all.

Of course, it's great if you're a diver. But I really like that it's comfy w/o being over the top.

The whole structure is arranged around the scuba divers. It has been one of the most comfortable "scuba holidays" I've ever had. The position is just perfect, the staff is so friendly that is like to be in a big family, the restaurant can serve tasty food (both international and Filipino). If it lacks of something, it's a good beach (there one, but I do not recommend to swim in that area due to the many boats), however that's true for every other resort in Sabang. If you go there for scuba diving you don't need one... but if you want some relax ask a local for a boat ride and enjoy one of the hundred paradise beaches around there.

サバンビーチ近くにありますメインの通りから徒歩で行ける場所です。ホテルの設備は古くエアコンを全開にしても夜まで室温はあまり下がりません。 シャワーの水量は少なく温水が出るまで時間がかかります。アメニティはシャンプーと石鹸はあります。歯ブラシはありません。 上記の所に我慢できれば利便性はあるホテルです。

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It's right on the water and close to all the restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant at the hotel was also pretty good. Service was great; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated, but they're clean and functional. There's no road that goes to the hotel, so you have to drag your luggage through the small alleys and beachwalks of Sabang beach which is a bit inconvenient, but the hotel had one of their staff carry my luggage for me both ways. Wifi was decent! Overall, very nice spot!

This is a great resort for SCUBA divers! The associated Asia Divers is a top notch facility and when coupled with the convenience of staying here, you'll have a great trip. The food here was also very good. We are at many different places during our week and in the end decided the food at our resort was some of the best we found. The rooms are nothing fancy but plenty adequate for our stay. They are pretty clean and in good condition.

Hab das Ressort aufgrund seiner Nähe und Anbindung an die (Asia Divers) Tauchschule gewählt. Nichttauchern würde ich die Unterkunft nur bedingt empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Meines hatte zwar vom Balkon eine tolle Aussicht, das war's dann aber auch. Alte und laute Klimaanlage, Mobiliar abgewohnt.

Liked the the resort and friendly staff, food was excellent but the downside of having a seaview room is having to climb approx 70 stairs to get there.

Bien situer à 10 minutes de Sabang cet hôtel est calme dans l'ensemble, sauf la clim un peu bruyante. Le club de plongée fait partie de l'hôtel et les plongées y sont superbes. L'organisation des excursions sur l'île peut se faire directement à la réception.

Great dive staff, very friendly hotel staff make El Galleon and Asia Divers my favourite spot so far in the Philippines. And the barrel bar on the ocean for sunsets makes a perfect ending to great diving days... and love those grilled peanuts and garlic!!! The very best!!!

フェリー乗り場からは少し遠く細い道を10分ぐらい歩かなくてはならないので少し大変。 また上の階の部屋だと角度のある階段を上らなくてはならないので、頻繁に出入りをする気になれない。 部屋はキレイだし景色はよく、施設はすごく良いと思う。 ただスタッフは常連とばっかり笑ってしゃべっていて気が利かないし、こちらには愛想もなく雑な対応だった。

The resort is in a great location a little further out of town in a quiet area. My original room #29 had three stairs to the bathroom, not recommended for older adults or young kids. I was moved to a nicer room, #9. Very quiet with a wifi router in the room.
