Hôtel Marineau Mattawin

parking was spacious, but noisx for the guests (woth open wondows)

The man who received us when we arrived was very helpful and courteous and gave us a good room that fitted our needs. Thanks! It was quiet in our bedroom through the night, which is a bit weird since the hotel is located right on the highway. The scenery in the ack yard is very good and we enjoyed watching the sunset. My only complaint is that most of the drivers in this area are very impatient and like to speed. I always had somebody tailing me closely when we drove to LaTuque and going home today right until we hit hwy 55.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. They tried their best to translate what they could and they were patient trying to navigate our language barrier.

Specious clean relatively newly renovated room. Walks out to the green backyard. Direct access to the river through the backyard. There are Muskoka chairs to sit and relax by the river. Room had all amenities expect a microwave. Bathroom was very specious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced. There is a gas station just on the other side of the road.

Endroit idyllique 😍

Clean room nice staff good food

Beautiful property to stay at, however, we were not happy about how rushed out the door we were by the hotel staff. We still had an hour left of our stay, yet the staff were trying to get into our room to clean it before we had all our stuff! I was still collecting my things in the hotel, when a staff all of a sudden entered the room (he thought we were done I guess). What if i was in the middle of changing my outfit and I was baked? I have never felt so rushed out the door like that at a hotel.

Hat insgesamt gepassat

Whether you need a place to stay after doing nearby activities or are on a road trip, this is a peaceful hotel with a scenic yard. The staff is welcoming and friendly, plus the room was nice and clean with a beautiful view. We could relax on the shared balcony or closer to the water and watch the sun set. In the morning, its a beautiful place to relax with complimentary coffee while watching and listening to birds... The restaurant host and waitress were pleasant, and the food was good. Reasonably priced. Great for families, couples, groups of friends...

Endroit tranquille.

very nice hotel in the woods. I loved the drive to the hotel, one side is the river and the other side is the mountain/bushes. Stayed there for 1 night and drove to Montreal. Driving out was even more beautiful, we stopped at one of the parking lots and the scenery was amazing!

Just passing through so not much time spent there. Overnight then on the road early morning.

On y va a plusieurs occasions

Beautiful place to stay

Na

Disappointing Cleanliness and Maintenance Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall maintenance of this property were far below expectations. The entire building has a greasy feel and smell that’s noticeable as soon as you walk in. The exterior is neglected — dirty walls, spider webs, and piles of old dead leaves everywhere. Inside, the windows haven’t been cleaned in a long time, doors are chipped and in need of repainting, and the corridors are dirty. The carpet is worn, stained, and should be replaced entirely. A deep, thorough cleaning from top to bottom is urgently needed, along with fresh paint and proper upkeep to bring this hotel to a livable standard. Very disappointing experience.

Super

everything is good, just a little far away from Parc Mauricie (around 50 mins) rather than list 13 km

Air climatisé bruyant

Très bien et personnelle. Courtois

Great hotel but I don’t like getting my credit card twice

nice place

Tout etait parfait

Chambres exellentes.

I loved the beautiful trees and the river right next to the property. There is a walkway between chairs and it is great for a view or pictures! There is a gas station right next to the hotel, which is super convenient if you ever forget something. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, and the food is decent, a tad bit expensive, but decent. They speak fluent French there, but some employees speak some English as well, so if you’re an English speaker you’ll feel a little out of place, but you can get the help you need. I will say the beds had some hair on them, and the TV didnt work, but other than that, very pleasant stay, and I would absolutely stay again.

We were running late and the staff went out if their way to make sure we could get our room even though we were way past the check in time.

Personnelle de qualité super service

Too far from national park and restaurant did not have vegetarian options. And they did not seem to care about no vegetarian options

Unable to cancel reservation

Liked the river running by. Wish they had a place to put soap and shower accessories

Tout

The rooms that are the closest to the kitchen are not quiet in the morning because we can hear the noise coming from it. But the night was very quiet. The room floor was sticky but the mattress was very confortable. The river is nice but you don’t really see it from the room even if you have a "river view" room.

Safe quiet and clean

Très propre, excellent service à refaire 👌

Endroit super tranquille et très propre. Vue magnifique. Personnel super gentil.

Nice hôtel very close to the road . Nothing around . Nice beds and services very friendly and smily The airco inside the room was old and so noisy !! We could not use it during the night

I have no comment since I didn't register at this establishment.

Easy

While a little out of the way, the location is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is reasonable.

Tres bien

Borne disponible

Had 2000$ stolen

The view is beautiful. Beautiful plant as we enter the hotel

Property rite on skidoo trail, fuel and supplies accross road, warm helpful greeting on arrival. Rooms good clean modern , lots of TV channels to watch football ,supper and breakfest excellant great service rite on site good stay

Overall OK. Well worth the price.

Magnifique!

Not clean

Good place to stay for a few days

Good in overall

Modern room, easy to access and free parking

La chambre était propre. Agréablement surpris.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good. Had to drive to restaurants for an evening meal. Would stay again.

Great place, the staff looked happy, really freindly.

Nice place! Small bedroom and average restauration but decent place for the cheap price.

Hotel vieillissant.
