Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Bel endroit pratique pour démarrer la visite du matin si la météo le permet. Le personnel est non seulement bienveillant, mais montre un plaisir d’être là et partage son enthousiasme. Petit déjeuner à la carte très généreux.
L’arrivée au parking : c’est aléatoire de trouver une place quand on arrive en journée. Chambre peu isolée, des conversations fortes et peu respectueuses dans les couloirs à 2h du matin.

Le dimensioni della stanza inadeguate, da una parte non c'è quasi il posto per scendere dal letto. Andrebbe anche un po' sistemata, battiscopa e pavimento, per renderla più accogliente.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026We spent only one night in this accommodation in a triple room. Sleeping in a mountain lodge near an active volcano is already an experience in itself! We also had breakfast which was solid, I just recommend that you go early. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
The only complaint is that the walls of the room are really thin and you can hear everything, so it happened that we woke up because someone in the next room turned on the water or passed through the corridor.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Sie liegt sehr zentral. Man kann auch direkt dort essen. Frühstück ist dabei. Es war sauber und das Personal total nett. Parkplatz hat es separat und muss nicht bezahlt werden. Wir haben auch tolle Restaurants-Empfehlungen erhalten die toll waren.
Ist etwas abgefallen und alt. Es hat nicht alles funktioniert (WLAN, TV) und wenig Steckdosen zum laden. Preis könnt etwas günstiger sein, der Ausstattung angepasst.

Ottimo il ristorante ed il servizio al bar. Il signor Franco che gestisce il bar, la pasticceria ed il negozio di abbigliamento e souvenir, sempre gentilissimo ed attento a soddisfare le richieste dei clienti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Das Zimmer hatte keinen Mülleimer(außer im Bad), das Kopfteil vom Bett war lose und klappert die ganze zeit. Die Dusche im Bad wurde nicht geputzt es lag noch das benutzte seifenstück vom Vorgänger drin.

It’s hardly a hotel per se, more of a basic tourist lodge, with very simple facilities and limited service. A 10 a.m. checkout feels unnecessarily early; 11 would be more reasonable, and noon preferable. Parking is also first-come, first-served, which is less than ideal.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Posizione ideale, servizi essenziali a portata di mano , parcheggio privato comodissimo, con la prenotazione hai diritto automaticamente ad un tavolo al ristorante , cosa molto gradita . Nel complesso una bella struttura dove soggiornare.
L’unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è il tipo di doccia che avevamo in camera, che aprendo la porta cade molta acqua a terra, e personalmente il cuscino mi era scomodo.

Ristorante della struttura troppo affollato, troppo caldo e troppo stretto. Servizi scadenti.Asciugacapelli rotto, e servizio non celere rimando per mezz’ora con la testa completamente bagnata. Wifi non funzionava bene. Colazione abbondante e molto buona.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026L' Etna è una delle meraviglie del mondo e salire a 1900 m in una estate caldissima e trovare oltre all'aria fresca un comodo rifugio con un ottimo ristorante nel quale sostare una o più notti è davvero una bella esperienza da rifare sicuramente. L' intero staff è stato disponibile e gentilissimo.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026We were impressed by how helpful people there were- from a receptionist patiently explaining everything to the restaurant owner who offered us free bottles of water for the night. The rooms were a bit minimalistic and not excessively well ventilated, but everything was very clean, bathrooms just fine and altogether I can fully recommend Refugio Sapienza to anyone willing to see Etna. Not to mention that MYETNA'S food was delicious!

Van egy fantasztikus éttermük, nagyon finom volt minden, másnap felmentünk az Etnára megkérdeztem maradhat e az autóm a parkolóba semmi gond délután egy jó ebéd után hagytuk el a parkolót. másnak is tudom ajánlani ha arra járok vissza fogok menni.

Le bar du restaurant de l'hôtel était juste en dessous de la chambre, il nous était impossible de dormir avant 1h du matin... pas pratique quand on randonne le lendemain, ça devrait être évident!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Les chambres sont basiques, nous avions une chambre familiale spacieuse avec une partie Parent et une partie enfants séparée d’une salle de bain. Le restaurant est excellent pour un rapport qualité prix très convenable. L’emplacement est juste exceptionnel, au pied de l’ENA, et au départ de toutes les excursions pour la face sud. Parking gratuit en prime que nous avons pu occuper toute la journée durant notre excursion.
Difficile de ne pas aimer quelque chose au regard du tarif que nous avons payé qui est finalement assez accessible au regard de l’emplacement de l’établissement. Comme dit précédemment les chambres sont un confort basique mais rien ne manque.

La chambre est très vieille, il faisait très chaud (pas de climatisation), et c'était extrêmement bruyant.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Das Bett ist sehr bequem, die Terasse ist einladend, das Personal ist sehr bemüht, das Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend und das Restaurant war sehr sehr gut, mit einem fairen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Es war leider sehr laut, bezogen auf die Motorrad-Gangs und dem Tanklaster, der morgens ab halb 7 schon Wasser gepumpt hat. Für die Gäste kann das Hotel natürlich nichts, aber man muss sich drauf einstellen, dass es bis nachts lauter sein kann (kann aber auch an der Fußball WM liegen). Kleiner Tipp: Quad-Tour war sehr familiär und eher amateurmäßig, wir hatten für 130€ deutlich mehr Action erwartet. Die Guides waren aber sehr freundlich und familienorientiert.

Нет кондиционера и сеток на окнах, песок на полу, нестабильный wi-fi. Отель высылает предложение экскурсии на Этну с недостоверной информацией (было указано, что подъем детям до 8 лет нежелателен, а оказалось что он вообще не возможен), не было подтверждения с их стороны и была постоянная путаница с информацией.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Położenie w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie kolejki na Etnę. Miejsce parkingowe w cenie pobytu. Otoczenie niesamowite - możlowość zobaczenia "księżycowego" krajobrazu okolic ETNY zarówno w dzień jak i nocą było niesamowitym doznaniem.
Niestety porozumienie się w innym języku aniżeli włoski graniczyło z cudem. Śniadanie racjonowane i wydawane przez obsługę - brak jasnego oddzielenia posiłku wliczonego w cenę noclegu od dodatkowo płatnych elementów (finalnie musiałem dopłacić do kwoty śniadania).

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Na jižní straně Etny nejlepší ubytování. skvělé pokoje, výborná restaurace, snídaně je ideální před výstupem na Etnu. Nenechte si ujít ani místní produkty, kterými je to tu prošpikované.
Personál i prostředí bylo naprosto skvělé.

More instructions on breakfast where to eat what’s included and maybe informed at check in . It’s a bit confusing if you just wander down . Also , top tip if you need sandwiches have the facility the night before to order especially if you’re heading up Mount Etna .

The views are great in every direction and the pure thought of being on Etna or sleeping on Etna is something to be in awe of. The people working there are amazing. The restaurant was amazing. The room was very nice. There was free parking and you it's right next to the Funivia dell'Etna.
