Ubicado en un sitio precioso y tranquilo, muy cerca de Wells, nos alojamos en un apartamento pequeño pero con todo lo necesario. Cerca hay un pup ideal para tomar una cerveza o comer algo.

La verdad es que estuvo bien, pero por decir algo, el colchón era un poco incómodo.

Vraiment parfait pour un court séjour. La décoration est soignée. Le lit confortable. L’accueil sympathique. On peut se garer facilement.

Abbiamo soggironato per 3 notti in uno degli appartamenti della proprietà. L'host è stato molto accogliente e disponibile, l'appartamento era pulito e disponeva di diversi parcheggi per gli ospiti. La struttura si trova all'interno di un piccola paesino nella campagna del Devon, molto piacevole. Lo consigliamo.

James, the owner, is super friendly and incredibly helpful with regard to knowledge of the surrounding area. The Nook was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

My wife and I are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary and are traveling throughout England and Wales. The Old Parsonage was conveniently located close to Bath, Bristol and Wells, which was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Nook self-catering apartment. Our room was so clean and comfortable and parking onsite was so convenient. It was great to come to a quiet place after a busy day of touring.

Great host! Very welcoming. Gave us great tips on things to do in town as well as other places we visited, such as a guided tour of Bath. We were also able to use his EV charger at a very affordable rate. James, thank you very much for everything! And we will never be able to forget Fergus, forever guarding his collection of wooden sticks. 😅❤️

No complaints, whatsoever!

It was in a good location, pub, shop, petrol station and restaurants were all within walking distance. It was very picturesque with parking on site. We were in a separate building called the Nook that was self contained with cooking facilities, fridge,tv and shower room. The brass bed was comfortable and there was a sofa, chair and folding dining table with folding chairs. A fan was supplied as it was very warm but also had heating available. There was a hair dryer and blankets. A comprehensive folder that contained a history of the place and lots of information about the area. There were basic supplies for cleaning and making hot drinks, a toaster and coffee machine. It was ideal location for our visit to Bath, Bristol and Longleat.

There was nothing to dislike about the place although we appeared to be the only guests staying until our last night.

We would definitely stay here again. Good off-road parking. Helpful and informative host. Well equipped (we were in the Nook), clean and comfortable. Everything provided for a hassle-free stay.

Het was een prachtige rustige locatie, makkelijk parkeren, hele vriendelijke eigenaar. Het is een mooi gezellig appartement en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel erg schoon.

Its a lovely place. We stayed in Pantry for 2 nights and had everything we needed.

Spacious, comfortable and quiet. After lots of travel this was a welcome stay. The owner was very friendly and lots of great tips. It is a beautiful property that is close to Bath yet rural enough to feel like you were miles away.

Das Haupthaus sieht sehr schön aus. Unser Zimmer, das eher ein kleines Apartment war, befand sich aber in einem kleinen Nebengebäude in einer Art Hinterhof. Das kleine Apartment selbst war etwas dunkel und aus den kleinen Fenstern hat man leider hat keinen Ausblick. Die Einrichtung war sauber, nett und praktisch und entsprach den Fotos. Parkplätze direkt im Hof. Frühstück hatten wir nicht, unser Zimmer hatte eine kleine Küche. Nächstes Mal würden wir im Haupthaus buchen.

A very pleasant stay last week in the glorious Somerset countryside . The Pantry was clean and well appointed. Owner James was genuinely helpful. Walks to Litton and around Cheddar Gorge were standouts - the English countryside is so beautiful at this time of year.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Old Parsonage. James was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our visit. There was plenty of parking available, and we stayed in The Nook, which had everything we needed. It was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. We slept really well in the bed, and the shower had amazing water pressure. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and would rate our stay as excellent.

Perfectly located for visiting Bath and Wells. Close to stores and pubs. Comfy beds. Everything we needed in the kitchen for tea and coffee. The 2 bedroom chalet had lots of storage and was well stocked with all the necessities. James our host was very nice!

We had a very comfortable stay in "the Stables". We slept very well because the beds are very comfortable and there is no disturbance at night. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and dining area. Bathrooms are well equipped with good shower facilities. Location is excellent for exploring Bath, Bradford on Avon, Well and the Mendips. Parking is right outside front door. Quiet calm and friendly. I was staying for an intense week of work and slept well. The self catering kitchen was perfect, so I could eat affordably and healthily. Nice bed. Got advice off owner where to go for short runs in the stunning countryside. I'd recommend for a work stayover but also family stays. Flawless. Thank you.

It was a bit too small for us.The doorway to the kitchen and bathroom is very low and dangerous for anyone over 5ft 10.

We only stayed for 1 night, wish we could have stayed longer. The Nook was very clean + well equipped. The bed+ pillows were really comfortable. The accommodation was so quiet + peaceful.

Nothing we didn't like about our stay. Maybe just a suggestion. A small amount of milk to go with the tea + coffee before having to go out for some.

The facilities are excellent with spacious rooms. It has been converted beautifully. The kitchen was well equipped with literally everything we could require. Parking is right outside the door. The host, James, was welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was nothig to fault at all. There is a pub about 2 minutes walk away (served nice food) and a Co-op supermarket 2 minutes away. We didn't go to the farm shop, but it is only 3-4 minutes walk away. The Old Parsonage is a great base for exploring Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. I can highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful converted barn, very charming.

My brother and I recently stayed in The Stables which is a self catering part of The Old Parsonage just across the courtyard from the main house. Everything was just first class. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms - mine on the ground floor was spacious with plenty of storage space and a bath and separate shower. My brother was upstairs where a quirky beam had to be negotiated. I think the lovely building may be Listed so the beam may stay! He also had a separate bathroom beside his bed and was very happy up there. The kitchen was well fitted out with some supplies kindly left for us. I had previously stayed in The Nook (also self catering) next door which is for one person and I had everything I could wish for in beautiful surroundings. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and hope to return.

Really quiet location. Owner was very sociable and was on hand if you needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Very clean and comfortable accommodation that had everything you needed for a short stay. If I am working in that area again I wouldn't hesitate to rebook and return to the Old Parsonage.

If your using the double bedroom on the mezzanine then there is a low beam. Need to be careful you don’t walk into it. Historic, so had to stay.

We had a relaxing stay at The Old Parsonage. The apartment was beautiful, extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The local village has a farm shop and cafe which serves delicious food, we would definitely return!

Einzig das Bett ist für Gäste mit leichtem Schlaf vielleicht nicht ideal, wenn man zu zweit darin schläft, weil es eine einzelne Kingsize-Matratze hat.

Booked adjoining apartments - the Stable and next door which was perfect for our needs. very comfortable, excellent facilities and well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful, even offering us a lift! Unfortunately we had booked the one night only to attend a party and would have liked to stay longer in such a lovely place and explore the fabulous area- hopefully next time!

Attractive, comfortable, well equipped self contained apartment with free onsite parking. Quiet location but with good village facilities nearby and conveniently situated for driving to Bath and Wells and other popular local towns . Very helpful owners, who live on site.

I did not become aware of any negatives in my short stay.

It was a very comfortable space, In a lovely location, the room was absolutely spotless and the mattress was very comfortable. Lovely shower aswell!

The only 2 things that stood out were the lights in the weren’t to my personal taste, i feel it needed more lamps in the kitchen area and also the front door was a bit sticky but I think it was due to the draft excluder.

The beautiful surroundings. The studio was very well equipped and warm. The location was great with a pub within walking distance thst served excellent food. The most important thing was dogs allowed.

We stayed in the Pantry which is a charming self contained separate building with comprehensive facilities. it was comfortable and had everything we needed including Nespresso coffee capsules. Would definately stay again.

The weather was atrocius, but that meant we only enjoyed the Pantry more.

James is friendly and very helpful host and met us personally upon our late arrival in the midst of Halloween celebrations. Our amazing Nook (converted from barn and stables) was very cozy, clean and tidy. The room itself is pretty small, but the layout is very well designed, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. It has everything we need for our short self-catering stay. Gorgeous main house and beautiful premises and surroundings. Free parking. Charging station for EVs. Excellent overall location for those who would like to explore the surrounding countryside - Frome, Bath, Wells; or for motorsport fans - Castle Combe race track; or music fans - Glastonbury - all those locations are not very far from here.

The house is very cozy and charming. Stayed there for 2 nights but would've stayed more! Perfect location if you have rented a car.

Die Unterkunft ist genial. Ein wundervolles altes Haus mit viel Charakter, liebevoll eingerichtet. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig, sodass man gut schlafen kann. Host James zaubert ein vorzügliches Frühstück und ist auch sonst mit Rat und Tat und vielen guten Tipps für Unternehmungen oder Restaurants in der Region zur Stelle. Und dann gibt es da noch Fergus, den kleinen süßen Hund. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wenn es eine Sache gibt, die noch verbessert werden könnte, dann das WiFi. Es ist manchmal etwas hackelig - aber es ist eben auch ein altes Haus mit dicken Wänden.

Vivere l'esperienza di soggiornare in un'autentica villa inglese. Il proprietario è stato di un'accoglienza unica, ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Non volevamo più andarcene. Colazione inglese abbondante (ma c'erano anche cornetti, marmellate, yogurt).

NULLA! Ma tenete presente che è una vecchia casa, quindi i cigolii sono parte dell'esperienza. E gli scarichi sono rumorosi.

A perfect stay we had. Decoration was elegant and very beautiful, everything was so clean and comfortable. Totally recommend it ! Very nice host as well very keen on giving pieces of advice about what to see in the region

We loved our stay in this charming old Victorian building, full of character and history. The staff were extremely kind and the breakfast was delicious!

The bed is quite narrow, as it’s a historic one, so not the most comfortable but perfectly fine for one night.
