Again... No hot water in the showers at night. We were told it would be a one-off malfunction, but it happened every night.

Posizione stupenda,staff gentile preparato e soprattutto che parla inglese, colazione semplice ma buona.

Troppo caldo all interno della struttura, soprattutto nei bagni e nelle camere. Vista la quantità di gente ospitata andrebbe rivisto il sistema di aerazione per non penalizzare una struttura con umidità e odori.

Womens dorm was very clean and nice touches (like a mirror by the bed and door and a bench to unfold your suitcase) they offer towels, locks with deposit and free shampoo/shower gel. Free coffee during the day and kitchen. In city centre.

Showers were small, and no place to change clothes/hang clothes. And no good place to brush teeth. The shower is not for short people ;)

Die Lage war toll. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, sowie im Bad gab es gute Föhne. Die Locker waren auch wirklich groß genug! Der Aufenthaltsraum war auch sehr groß.

Die Betten waren etwas durchgelegen und die Dusche hat an dem einen Tag sehr gestunken und es ist kaum Wasser rausgekommen.

Estaba muy sucio. No había papel en muchos momentos en el baño. El personal no era amable , no tenía buenos tratos y contrataban gente que no entendía castellano cuando estamos en España.

The best hostel in Valencia for peanuts. It’s located close to the center, with a huge park right across the street, and there are various interactive activities in the evenings.

The location was great and the room’s visually pleasing.

Where do I start. The air conditioning in the rooms are controlled at reception. Even when the temperatures were apparently set as low as possible, the room was still too hot. They also run on timers and we all had to constantly ask reception to turn the air conditioning back on. They turn off automatically at midnight and the heat would wake us up. Inevitably, at some point each night, someone in the room who’d one the balcony door to get some air into the dorm. However, the hostel is on a main road, so every morning we were awoken early by the sound of traffic and road works. I didn’t get one good night’s sleep and I wouldn’t stay there again.

De locatie is perfect; dicht bij metro en het centrum.

In de badkamer op de 4e verdieping is geen plank om je spulletjes op te leggen.

Beds were super comfy and great people there! Staff super friendly and helpful as well. Great location!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, any questions you have, they will answer. They have a luggage room in case you arrive before your check in, you’re able to rent towels and a padlock for the storage under your bed. I stayed in a mixed gender 8 bed dorm, everyone was super friendly and kind. Clean bedding and facilities in general. Super easy to locate and everything is simple and explained well.

Depending on your room, the AC isn’t always the best. On our first night it wasn’t very effective but the staff did turn it up when we asked. Another nitpick I have was my shower was cold on my last day, but honestly it’s nothing crazy, water can be inconsistent and it’s not necessarily the fault of the hostel.

Locatie was top, je zat zo in het centrum en in het park. Badkamers en wcs waren altijd beschikbaar, nooit hoeven wachten.

De airco was minimaal of stond vaker uit dan aan, waardoor de kamers bloedheet werden. De waterdruk van de vrouwen douches op de 2e verdieping, was er amper. Vaak mn haren moeten uitspoelen met een mini straal.

we weren’t given the room advertised, we were put on the top floor which had a different layout and much smaller window than every picture advertised, the showers on the 4th floor also had bad water pressure if they worked at all

O atendimento foi muito bom e cordial. O sistema de fechadura da porta do quarto muito eficiente, a acomodação da cama é ótima e o gavetão para guardar as coisas pessoais é excelente.

O banheiro masculino do segundo andar é extremamente quente e sem ventilação. Os chuveiros são irregulares, um sai pouca agua e outro sai mais agua, mas totalmente descentralizado.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable with ironed sheets. Dining area was hospitable and clean. Cold water "on tap" was a plus.

bed was clean , but with 8 polite people sharing the room I was often woken in the middle of the night by sounds of zippers, plastic bags crackling, whispering, door locking sounds. Quite hot in the room...needs a ceiling fan. WiFi on the 3rd floor didn't work properly much of the time.

Excellent hostel in a great location, right by Turia Gardens and less than 10 minutes walk to the old town. The staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful and accommodating. There were plenty of activities to join in with and lots of other people hanging out in the communal areas, but at no point did the hostel feel too busy or too "party", so ideal for travellers wanting to get involved AND those wanting to just do their own thing. Clean rooms and facilities, fresh towels daily for a returnable deposit, comfortable beds - I absolutely loved my stay and hope to visit again soon!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds are very comfy and the showers were very clean. The free towel was nice too. It had a great social atmosphere, everyone was pretty friendly and there were always people down to do something together.

The area is nice but it’s not as central as some other hostels however most things were just a 5-10 min walk away. The AC in the rooms is amazing but sometimes it was too cold. You could always ask the staff to make it less cold though. The kitchen is nice but a bit small and a lot of people were cooking in there, but it was a fun way to socialize.

As an older female sole traveler I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfy with good clean bedding. Private too, with curtains and also good lockable storage below. Bed had plugs reading light etc. A bit like a pod. Air con in dorm was sufficient in early September. Showers and toilets very clean and in good condition. Location good for me. Staff lovely. Had a good breakfast one day at just 4 euros good value. Beautiful city and if I come again I'd stay here. Towels and lock can be provided free. Deposit returned within 1 day. Busy but quiet at night and well run. Well done to all the staff. Thank you.

El hostel esta super equipado, es espacioso, las camas son comodisimas. El lugar para guardar equipaje tambien es amplisimo y cada cama tiene cortina lo cual le da mucha privacidad. Ademas, los cuartos estan dispuestos de tal manera que no ves a las 10 personas con las que compartis habitacion, eso es barbaro. Los baños estan bien y la ubicacion tambien

A la noche no andaba el aire y hacia bastante calor lo cual hace que sea medio incomodo pero fuera de eso todo bien.

The staff were really helpful and nice The space was open and facilities were nice to use. They had a water dispenser that dispensed cold water, which was great. On the day we arrived they made a paella for everyone which was amazing.

There was only one thing I didn’t like but felt it was important to highlight. The washing machines on the 4th floor smelled like mildew and left the clothes smelling like it too. The machines said that they dispensed soap and fabric dispenser automatically but it didn’t seem like it. Regardless of the soap, they should really clean the machines, as there’s nothing worse than spending money to have clean clothes and only having them rinsed with water and left smelling weird for the rest of your travels.

En el desayuno no hay opción para intolerantes a lactosa. En las instalaciones parece que están en reparaciones y había zonas en las escaleras en estado deteriorado.

Geen losse wasbakken, tandenpoetsen moet in de toiletten. Soms is het druk en dan zijn alle drie de hokjes bezet, dan is het lang wachten

La stanza pur essendo da 12 è molto pulita, il letto comodo e il tutto vivibile. Le attività svolte dall’ostello molto divertenti e l’ambiente nel complesso molto bello.

Il getto delle docce era davvero scomodo e la temperatura dell’acqua ingestibile.

Es un excelente hostal, muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones son bastante cómodas al igual que los servicios. Si estan en ánimo de compartir hay varias actividades organizadas y también hay espacios para trabajar y estar por tu cuenta.

A veces los compañeros de habitación pueden ser de todo tipo, por lo que no se sabe las costumbres de todas las personas de ordenar y salir de la habitación de tanto en tanto para ventilar.

El trato del personal, siendo una experiencia totalmente nueva para mí, lo convirtieron en algo único.

Oh, I miss this place so much. I had a wonderful experience in this hostel, and I absolutely loved it. It's so affordable, and yet you will probably enjoy your trip more if you stay in a place like River Hostel. I've met so many nice people during my stay, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the location couldn't have been better than this (well, unless you want to be closer to the beach, but I strongly preferred the town centre). I was also very happy with the locker and the size of it. I realised that my whole trip to Valencia was this good partially thanks to this hostel, and if I had stayed at a hotel or had rented an apartment, despite of having more privacy, I guess I would have not enjoyed the trip as much (not even mentioning that I would probably have had to pay double or triple of the price of the hostel). It's never happened to me that I'd think "Ah, how good I felt in that airbnb I rented the other day", but it did happen with me after River Hostel. I genuinely miss Valencia and this place in particular, and I think River Hostel is one of the reasons my memories from Valencia are so good, and thus I miss this place very much. So, to sum it up, I can't recommend this place enough, and I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to Valencia. I obviously can't guarantee that you will also meet a lot of nice people and make friends, but for me that was the case, and it was also the case for the other people I met in the hostel to which I talked to :)

There were some small annoying things like shampoo was missing in some shower rooms, or water pressure being very low in one of them, but there were plenty of them that were in good conditions, so they were really small annoyances rather than serious downsides.

Lokalizacja jest genialna, blisko starego miasta. Niedaleko mały market czynny aż do 24 :) Duże łózka i duże szafki na ubrania. Fajne integracje dla gości.

Very good hostel to stay in Valencia. The location is perfect in the city centre, you can walk to the bus and to the tram about 10 min away. The room is very good and you have the climatisation during the hot weather. I recommend this hostel. There is a breakfast included at a price and well worth it.

Dueimg my stay a full group of french school/kids were there. They were not very polite and unrespecrfull of the common area.Not hostel's fault but I would have expected a bit more of management of the situation by the staff. Same with airco in the room. Second night it didnt work anymore and we had to flag it 3 times before they took am action of bringing a portable one. Lack fo proactiveness from the staff.

Alles, sehr sauber, gemütliche Betten die sehr viel Privatsphäre bieten, große Boxen für die Koffer / Rucksäcke , ausreichend duschen und Toiletten , eine tolle Küche mit genügen Platz und Möglichkeiten sein eigenes Essen zu kühlen und zu verstauen außerdem gab es einen tollen Sitzbereich. Die Lage ist sehr toll

Big bunks w curtains and own lights, lots of storage and good privacy. Common areas were nice and air con was good. Towels were nice and being able to replace them daily was great. Good breakfast and in a decent area albeit not that close to the beach if that's what you're after.

Air con in the dorm didn't really reach my corner but there was a door I could open for some fresh air which helped. Access bracelet never worked on the first try so was often trying multiple times to get into my room. Also there was a couple of school trips during my stay so lots of kids was unexpected.
