Super clean room

Breakfast was minimal

Host was cheerful, helpful and responsive. When we reported a clogged drain in the bathroom sink, he immediately changed our room and repaired the problem before the next guest arrived. Clean but dated. Convenient location a few minutes to downtown St. Stephens (such as it is).

The continental breakfast was minimal. Coffee was weak. Had to ask for the hot water kettle to be refilled then wait to use it for instant oatmeal. One of the beds in our double queen room had a deep divot in the mattress on one side.

As a senior with arthritis we found the toilets very low to the ground without any grab bars to stand up, otherwise it is a lovely place, clean and quiet the 2 nights we were there.

This was easy to find, near gas, laundry and a diner.

The other patrons were loud into the night, drinking and smoking right outside the door. So we had to smell cigarettes all night and hear them. The floors were filthy, making walking barefoot icky.

Clean, quiet hotel on the outskirts of town. Close enough to walk to a grocery store and a few restaurants, but good location to avoid city noise. Staff were friendly, accommodating of our pet (small dog) for a fee. Lots of green space nearby for our dog. Room was not large, but sufficient for three of us and our pet.

Pervasive odor of marijuana from neighbors smoking (outside), several doors down. Breakfast was pretty barebones.

We only had breakfast once, but it was fine. Not a lot of choice but otherwise fine. The beds were very comfortable.

Need more shelving in the bathroom. There is nowhere to put anything except on the floor. It would be nice to have a sheer curtain that would bring light in, but also provide privacy. It was an all or nothing dark or zero privacy.

Lock system . Key and lock were old and needed help to open door. When I told the clerk, I was met with indifference.

The bed was comfortable.

Motel old and outdated. Smart TV way too small for room and situated on desk far from the beds. Could not watch properly. Two chairs in room were stained. Stayed 2 nights and hardly any towels provided. Cost of room was way too much for what you paid for.

Just fine for a night. Only real place in town. Clean and convenient. Fridge and microwave in the room were appreciated.

They have a charming dining room-the breakfast is continental in the strictest sense, but the atmosphere is delightful.

There were so many rooms unoccupied (about 20 rooms were free) but after we checked in, another person checked in and was placed in the room right next to us. The walls are thin and our neighbor was very loud. The bathroom fan is connected to the light and extremely loud. The bedspreads were worn and not very clean. The pillows were terrible, lumpy and flat. The grounds were unkempt. Grass had not been mowed in a few weeks and there was litter. Had to pick ticks off of my dog after a very short walk. I am not sure if breakfast was included. I didn’t ask and the front desk didn’t offer.

The decor was outdated, no hairdryer, no coffee in room and breakfast didn’t start until 7:30 (I was already on the road by 7), the surround in bathroom was cracked and barely sealed.

Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. We checked in late (if you're crossing the border like we were from the US, the time zone changes!) and they were available by phone and had the room key available for us. Definitely would recommend this hotel to others.

Maybe a few more outlets by the bed to plug in phones, etc.

Motel was clean and good size. Came with small frig and microwave. Ice machine was in the office. Breakfast was okay with mostly cold items served other than toast you can make yourself. Location was just north of the US/Canada border making it a good stop regardless of what direction you’re coming from.

My husband and I stayed before in one of the lodges, and when we were looking for a place for my daughter and her 2 kids and my son. I thought we'll try here while we stayed in the cabin. It was roomy enough for all of us. We got there and they were celebrating their 90th birthday. That was a lot of fun. My grandkids loved it. Everybody was wonderful in its very close to go to storyland which that was our plan. The restaurant in the premises was great and kid friendly. Great place to stay. We will be back!

Parking lot is roomy and easy to reach each room, check in was easy but the office is NOT accessible to anyone in a wheelchair or having limited mobility, air conditioning is old fashioned portable units mounted in the wall and partially blocked from efficiently cooling the room due to its location and sub walls in the way.

Breakfast was nothing to talk about. No yogurt, or fresh fruit, no bagels.

No hairdryer in our room, could have used a small table in the bathroom to put your stuff on.

property met all of our requirements: safe, clean and quiet, with comfortable beds. No hairdryer was in the bathroom but we were able to borrow one from the front desk. Restaurants were nearby.

limited electrical outlets to plug in our electronic devices, but this is not unusual in an older property.

The room was standard, clean. Had a fridge . No hair dryer though. Breakfast was basic, toast, cereal /oatmeal and coffee. Was easy access to cross the border in the morning.

We didn’t end up staying there as we were looking for St. Andrew not st Stephen so I am hoping I will not get charged for the room as I could not find a way to cancel

Great breakfast and a good location (just across the border). I appreciated that we were called to confirm we'd get there before the office closed (and the same gentleman was also staffing breakfast - I guess he hadn't gotten much sleep but he was friendly & professional).

Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. The lady at the desk was helpful. The breakfast was adequate. There was cereal, juice, bread, and bagels. No cream cheese, muffins, Danish, or fruit.

They have a locked black box that you can access by code and get your room key, no matter what time you arrive at night. Very efficient, easy to work, and extremely helpful to travelers like us, as we couldn't arrive until 1:00 AM.

Spiders hanging at room doorway.. Toilet blogged up very easily, but was easily fixed. Overall, great little place for a stop over.

Noisy neighbors; i.e., guests; not much though that the Winsome Inn could have done about that

Convenient location but facilities are a bit dated. Also, the staff at this particular stay weren't too pleasant while in the past they have been exceptionally nice.

Nice dining area. Appreciated that utensils, mugs, bowls etc., not made of single use plastic. Receptionist saw that there were 4 of us and offered extra towels.

It was clean and friendly. Motel is older and not fancy, but it did the job and not super expensive.

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, good location for visiting nearby town (Saint Andrew's) with much higher nightly costs for hotels.

The tv was a Roku and wouldn't connect to the server despite multiple attempts, also required you sign into your streaming accounts stating it would be erased upon departure date. It was late so didn't bother with getting the front desk involved but would prefer a regular TV with local cable service. Small issue for a one night stay.
