我建議個人的露天溫泉那邊應該要設置固定的蚊香、防蚊液給客人使用，不然泡澡到一半，小黑蚊叮得很兇，但洗到一半也不方便出去再跟櫃檯拿蚊香。

A return stay with warm, friendly staff. The estate feels peaceful, relaxing, and truly healing. Breakfast remained excellent, and a lovely surprise was the "welcome meal" at dusk—sitting in the dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying the scenic views .You can feel free to chat with friends. Hope for clear skies next time to catch the sunset.

1.因為有整團的旅客，服務人員擔心我一個人沒辦法烤到棉花糖、吃到自助早餐，有特別留意幫我注意烤爐的空位，以及送早餐到我門口。 2.雖說是下午迎賓點心，但實際就是晚餐的規格，吃的很滿足。 3.素食餐點也做得很美味。

1.與訂房網介紹不同： （1）Booking說明上有接駁服務，但實際上沒有接駁車，只有回程幫忙叫計程車。 （2）對露營車的描述裡，有寫到浴缸，但實際也沒有。 （3）對整體設施的描述有戶外跟室內泳池，實際上只有戶外泳池，室內是湯屋。 2.沒有提前告知需要訂購烤肉或火鍋，要三天前提出；因到的第一天下雨，也無法騎自行車外出採買隔天中午食物。

員工有禮，應答自然，有賓至如歸感覺。雖位在偏處，卻也能放鬆心情，享用這裡準備的咖啡、茶點、關東煮和泡麵（距市區遠用餐不便）。不得不讚美早餐的內容，營養均衡份量剛好，不浪費。 我喜歡紅茶、咖啡，黃昏與清晨騎單車繞行柚子園、鳳梨園、薑園，這就是鄉間愜意的旅行。 溫泉真是棒。

• Atmosphere: The property is lovely. It has a very cozy, quiet, and serene vibe. • Facilities: Everything is visually appealing and nicely designed. • Hosts: The staff/hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating.

• Water Issues: The hot spring water was only warmish at best. To make matters worse, there was zero hot water for the morning shower (only cold water available). • Room Type Mismatch: We booked and paid for a "mountain view" room, but the room we actually received can only be described as a garden view. It is a nice place with a lot of potential, but the basic amenities like hot water really need to be reliable.

Einfach alles… gerne wären wir länger geblieben. Der Pool, die Badewanne im Zimmer und das Essen waren einfach der Hit. Uns wurde gratis eine kleine (😀) Nachmittagsmahlzeit angeboten, diese war do reichhaltig, dass wir kein Nachtessen mehr benötigten.

Very nice little hotel. Stayed 3 days to relax.

In contrast to the "Silent" in the name there was an awkward 2min song - a kind of meditation folk tribe song - playing very loud inside and outside the hote in an endless loopl. Staff turned it down after asking but was overall really annoying and disturbing.

Silence Manor is a tranquil retreat at the foot of the mountains. The staff were accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have their own hot spring bath! In the evening, the restaurant made us a delicious meal which they amended to suit our vegan diets. They also had a campfire under the stars and toasted marshmallows. It was easily the best place we have stayed in Taiwan.

Wonderful location, great staff, very generous and delicious breakfast, outstanding pour over coffee - a perfect place to stay close to town but really feel like you are in the mountains! Very peaceful and great facilities!

This is a great hotel, better than most Taiwanese hotels. The hot spring is top-notch. The room is quiet. Staff are well-trained and speak good English. We really enjoy our stay.

Great facility with beautiful surrounding environment. There were snacks and DYI hand-pour coffee in late afternoon, enough for a light dinner. Even a campfire to roast marshmallows. We enjoyed the outdoor private hot spring in our room backyard.

The water in the swimming pool is cool. But the hot spring is good. People can play in either one, depending on their preference.

The complementary breakfast was great! The staff asked us what time we would like to eat the night before, so that the meal were freshly prepared. They were also very friendly! They helped to arrange transportation for us to the nearby attractions/eateries (at our own cost of course). There was a night where we had to head out for dinner, as the property did not have dinner available. The property paid for our taxi to the nearby eateries. I thought this was really kind of them, and really appreciated their hospitality. On the night I arrived, there was a campfire where we could roast mashmellows. It was delicious :) Location wise, if you are looking for a quiet place for some rest and relaxation, then this is the place for you!

From the website, it appeared that dinner would be available for booking. However, after conversing with the property online, I realised this option was no longer available. Perhaps the property could update their website for this?

The service was fantastic. They provided free pick up/drop off service from Ruisui station. They also have bycicle for hire which was great fun for us to explore around the town.

A wonderful return stay with convenient transport.The bonfire event that evening was particularly special .The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and,as always , delicious -- we really appreciated it. Grateful to 王先生and 藍小姐 for helping my sister retrieve her phone, which had fallen into the bathtub water, late at night. We truly appreciate their efforts . Hope to stay in the same room as my first visit next time .

No sound insulation and noisy until 2200 from reception and dining area. Group meant it wasn’t very tranquil.

Luxury after a long bike ride. The rooms are enormous and we made great use of the in-room hot spring tub. The bathroom was huge and the layout was great with the shower and tub next to each other. We participated in pizza making and wine / coffee tasting - we were hungry so they made the extra effort to get us more pizza supplies.

We didn't pre-order dinner and the chef left already, hence there wasn't close / easy to access food, so plan accordingly. However there were instant noodles in the room!

My favorite hot spring resort in Ruisui, Butterfly Valley is a close second, can’t go wrong with either. The Happy Hour with free make ur own pizza, coffee and wine can’t be beat. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This was not my first visit, I’ve been back three times. Did I mention the free bicycles that are available?

It’s a perfect getaway spot. Love the tranquillity with no other hostels/people around. The breakfast was decent and flavorful. The favourite thing to do there is of course the private open-air bath.

Check in process was not great as the afternoon front desk attendant at the time gave a poor reflection of the property. Attendant was not friendly to new guests. Disappointed at the level of service provided. However, staff encountered throughout the remainder of the stay was accommodating and polite. Breakfast was very good each day, with different Chinese Breakfast variations each day. Room had plumbing issues such as toilet not having water to flush or water not draining at wash sink. Room cleanliness could improve as we found previous room guest’s used Nespresso Pods still in the room.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat with in-room hot spring tub, this is a great place. It is a large grounds away from town. The dinner was far beyond what we expected and the breakfast was very good too. The meals are from a menu, not a buffet. They have a free shuttle to town, though it is maybe an 8 minute taxi ride. We spoke with one of the co-owners, who has good English. They recently installed some tents (more like yurts) and two air stream trailers for a "camping" experience. The tents are spacious and have A/C. We did not see inside a trailer. He said they have an executive chef to plan the meals. The rooms are nice with good soaking tubs and showers. From the hotel, you can take a walk to the north then south out to the Hongye River. We were told that if you then go north along the river, you will come to a small forested area that is nice to walk in. If you go south along the river, we were told there are packs of feral dogs (which do not seem to bother people with poles), and you could loop back around to the hotel. The hotel has a dog, or maybe I should say a dog has the hotel. His name is "little tiger", due to his stripes. Supposedly, no one at the hotel feeds him or claims him, the dog just adopted the hotel. He will often accompany you on you walks around the area, at least until he gets bored.

It’s clean, well furnished and well maintained. Dinner is delicious.

There was a compulsory charge NT1600 imposed on my kid on check-in, which I was not informed, even though I’ve declared upfront on booking.com platform months ago. This policy was only made known to us on site. I find this part quite unacceptable.

Dinner was amazing. The hot spring tub in the room was such a luxury.

The food and in-house refreshments.

The staff made people feel that they don’t like to work there. And the way they speak to customer over the phone is quite blunt. Also the hot spring is not hot at all as it should have been (said 48 degree on the label but really it’s under 38).

The staff are very patient and polite. It gives people a very cordial feeling. Breakfast was good and tasty. We were in a rush and didn't have dinner reservations, They arranged for a car to drive us out to dinner, which was much appreciated.

More like “Faded Glamour”, we imagine this place was great 5-10 years ago, however it’s seriously lacking some love now and some decent service. Upon arrival we had a shuttle service from the train station, which was fine, then when we arrived it was a very hot day and we weren’t offered a drink, only told we couldn’t have the room till 3, we then got offered a warm bottle of water. We had a hot spring room, just off from the breakfast room, sound insulation was terrible. The room was fine but in need of some TLC. Our shower didn’t work at first and our toilet leaked. Not all plug sockets worked, the “fridge” was room temperature, and the blind didn’t work. It was my partners birthday and I asked if we could have a meal at the hotel, to which they said no, and go to the train station there are numerous restaurants around there! We asked to do laundry, same answer go to the train station there is a laundrette opposite. All in all, this place is very disappointing, not worth the money, definitely not what it says on the tin.

Pictures don’t show how beautiful this property is compared to in person. Each room has their own mini backyard, with a hot tub to relax in. The breakfast is really good and I even recommend getting it. If you’re a morning person this is a perfect B&B to stay at.

The decor is extremely tasteful. The food was absolutely delicious , compliments to the chef. A very relaxed attitude around the place which may us feel very welcome. We just wished we could stayed for more. Thank you for a fab stay.

We stayed at this b&b for just one night. When it comes to picking hotels, we stay on the cautious side and tend to pick large chain hotel as we have a 3 yr old child. This b&b truly tops our list as a place we want to visit again, perhaps in autumn or spring. Pro: large room with private onsen, very delicate and excellent meals, great ambience that truly really feels like your summer house next to rice paddies and pineapple farm. Con: for extra safety measures, would be good to place family with young child on first floor. My child was so excited she tried to run away but almost fall off the stairs but thankfully hold on too. Also would suggest changing the plastic water and bathroom shampoo to large recycle jar rather than individual bottles. All in all, this is my first Taiwan b&b experience and will not be my last. Time stops at this little tranquil spot. Nothing beats the top quality golden onsen. Already missing it as I type...

Our weekend at The Silence Manor, a hot spring inn nestled among pineapple plantations in Ruisui, Hualien, turned out to be most pleasant indeed. The room we stayed in had its own rear courtyard and outdoor hot spring bath. The onsen quality was excellent, an interesting alternative to the sulfur springs of Beitou, and clear springs of Wulai in Taipei. The rooms were stylishly modern yet comfortable, and the food served for dinner and breakfast were delicious, incorporating a variety of fresh local produce. The property features a picturesque lawn and pond, which made for some lovely pictoral souvenirs. The owner is an engaging, enthusiastic chappie, who takes pleasure in answering guests' questions about the local area. For those fancying a quiet getaway in Eastern Taiwan, definitely worth checking out.

Soaking in the hot springs and enjoy the mountain view is simply the best way to relax. 視野開闊，獨攬山林，蟲鳴鳥叫取代熙熙攘攘的吵雜聲，隱身鄉間小道裡的「松邑莊園」，把我對溫泉旅館的要求又拉高了！ 每間客房都有私人湯池，一樓的仰松套房內還有戶外露天池，冷冷的天泡起來更有感。大推三樓的半露天風呂，壯闊山景View超好，而且住戶能免費使用！泡湯賞山景，伴著冬日暖陽，絕對是人生一大享受！ 除了溫泉還有戶外無邊際泳池，襯著藍天綠地，相信夏天來住也能玩得清涼盡興。 餐廳設計成玻璃屋，讓你用餐也能被山林環抱，陽光灑下，好拍指數百分百，心情好了，胃口自然好！ 服務也很到位，一抵達就有工作人員親切問候、送上茶飲、甜食，細心解說介紹，就算隔天退房也不急著趕人，你可以繼續啜飲咖啡，放慢步調，細心品味眼前這片自然的美好。
