The location of the hotel is good.

This hotel is in dire need of renovations. There should be staff to help with luggage to go to and from the room. The stairs and elevator are completely claustrophobic. There isn't a minibar, no toiletries. There wasn't a holder for the showerhead that was also broken and leaking everywhere. I paid over 300euros for a 1-night stay which is extremely overpriced for this kind of establishment.

Die Lage war top. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen und auch die Bahnstation lag direkt neben an. Schöne und angenehme Gegend. Das Personal war super freundlich. Die Größe des Einzelzimmers war vollkommen ausreichend 😊

Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt gibt es beim Thema Reinigung: Am Fenster waren deutliche Schimmelspuren zu sehen und es schloss nicht richtig. Der Boden hätte gründlicher gesaugt werden können. Abgesehen davon war alles bestens und sauber und ich würde das Hotel trotzdem jederzeit weiterempfehlen 😊

The location of the property was very central

The room we were given did not match the booking pictures. It was much smaller and we could’ve been satisfied with a smaller room but there was lots of duster and hair that needs a deep clean.

De kamer van het hotel vonden we mooi en de locatie van het hotel is perfect! fietsen die je kan pakken in de buurt en de wijk is erg leuk om te verblijven.

Het hotel buiten de kamer om stelde niet veel voor, geen leuk zitje om een koffie of drankje te doen. Personeel was wat ongeïnteresseerd.

The breakfast was decent. There could have been fresh fruit along with some other breakfast options, like yogurt granola etc. We didn't get any water in the room and was only offered a bottle of water on our second day. There wasn't enough pillows on the bed, but upon requesting a couple of more, they were provided. Location is pretty good.

I didn’t care for claw foot bathtub due to my personal situation. It was lovely to look at. The very top is a a loft and kept bumping my head walking around bed.

Location was amazing and the facilities surrounding the property.

The room was tiny with no room for luggage and the shower was also tiny and in the room. The room needs some upgrades. Floor boards lifting and pictures are old and need to be updated.

The women at reception was really friendly and helpful

Tiny room and in the middle of the room there is a bathtub. Without any curtain or anything. Feels weird when one person is laying down on the bed and another one is just taking a bath in front.

Good location close to metro station and a quick walk into back streets of Le Marais. Very nice room, well appointed and comfortable, with air-conditioning. Good size for the location also. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Such a beautiful old hotel, charming lobby with a coffee maker and a continental style breakfast served in the mornings. We had a 6th floor room with balconies and the view was amazing. Gwendolen at the front desk was kind and hospitable and took the time to show us how to use the metro and also gave us many other useful tips with a beautiful smile on her face. I loved the elevator, yes the old building had an elevator which is bonus. I’ve been in high dollar hotels in Istanbul and Venice and we had to lug our heavy bags up many floors. Our shower was so charming as well and the toilet bowl was in a seperate room. The wifi was blazing fast as well. Please overlook the small stuff and appreciate the charm of this old building. The location is amazing, tons of restaurants and shopping, just an all round fun neighborhood with all kinds of cuisine to explore and lovely parks as well to sit and relax with a beurre et jambon baguette and a cup of coffee. Give it a try guys, I’m sure you will appreciate it.

A very convenient location with a comfortable bed and good aircon. The staff were super lovely, welcoming and helpful in navigating the train system. We had a beautiful view of the street also with some really nice cafes around.

Die Zimmer sind sehr eng. Das ist leider jedesmal so in Paris gewesen.

The hotel has a great location right next to a metro station. Air conditioning was a big plus, especially during the hot weather, and the small lift was very useful for taking our luggage upstairs.

For €300 per night, there were too many downsides. The hotel describes its breakfast on Booking.com as “good”, which I find very misleading. The entire breakfast selection consisted only of bread and pastries, jam, butter, coffee and juice. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Instead of a proper double bed, two single beds had simply been pushed together, and they constantly moved apart during the night. There is no room service and no fridge in the room. The coffee in our room was not replenished once during our five-night stay. Most importantly, the housekeeper opened our room with her own key several times while we were inside, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed on the door. This happened more than once and made us feel very uncomfortable.

We loved our short stay at Hotel Emile! The staff was so helpful when we found on checking in that Expedia had cancelled our reservation (although I had received a confirmation/reminder about our stay 3 days prior?) and found us a room at the same rate we had been expecting. Such a relief and so appreciated! The room was very small but so cute and lovely — the big windows and balcony are perfect. The location was fantastic and staff super friendly. Highly recommend!

Bed was nice, AC in the heatwave, and the wonderful Guendelin at the frontdesk! She was beyond helpful and kind!

The hallways feel a little dirty and they vacuum the room next to mine 8:30 am 2 days in a row..

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Gwendolyn. We really enjoyed our room and the balconies. Location was perfect!

The hotel is terrible. Its location is very far from the main attractions. Cleanliness is zero, service is zero, and the staff are extremely rude. The lady at the reception was very unfriendly and seemed as if she did not want to welcome guests at all. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

Do hotel em si . Lindo por fora , não correspondendo depois ao seu interior . Em obras . O pequeno almoço é do mais básico que pode ser . Não tem sequer uma fatia de queijo . A resposta é que não têm frigorífico . Servido na recepção , numm espaço exiguo . Ao mesmo tempo que alguém fazia check in ou check out Não vale o preço. . Funcionários muito pouco prestativos , excepto o que me fez o check in. Não vale o preço .

Breakfast was simple but all very fresh, croissants and bread, coffee machine (just about adequate, but a Nespresso machine would have been better) and freshly squeezed orange juice. It is taken in the small reception area, but this did prove adequate during our stay. Overall the hotel is very "Parisienne" and perhaps on the expensive side for what is offered, but that is probably Paris prices. Hotel dealt with our only complaint very well - see below.

Tea and coffee-making facilities was limited to a tray of instant beverages and a kettle which had to be placed on the floor to reach the electric socket. Used mugs were not automatically replaced. There had plainly been an ongoing problem with a leak on the 2nd floor, which eventually caused a false fire alarm at 2am, leading to a disturbed night. That said, the hotel dealt very well with our complaint about this to our complete satisfaction.

The room was tiny.... Only a foot either side of the bed. Nowhere to put suitcases. Felt a bit ripped off pricewise. Tiny lift to fourth floor- put our bags in and walked up!

Wonderful location - 1 minute from the metro and the various bus connections. We have stayed in the Saint Paul district before and this was a big plus for us.

We had a lovely room, the staff were great but sadly the hotel endured some plumbing issues during our stay which was beyond their control. However, it did impact on our experience - we had no water for the best part of 24 hours which made our stay more challenging than you need - this is a one off I’m sure so this aside, we would be very happy to recommend Hotel Emile.

La habitación es demasiado pequeña con la tina ducha abierta al lado de la cama y sin cortinas, lo que la hace fría y se moja media habitación al bañarse. La cama no era cómoda. El desayuno era solo pan, jugo, café y chocolate.

Molto piccola, in perfetto stile francese, ma nel posto giusto per essere ovunque in pochi passi. Personale accogliente anche in spazi appunto molto piccoli (come quello riservato alla colazione, all’ingresso)

Scale adatte a giovani, ascensore minuscolo e vasca da bagno in stanza (ma a Parigi è appunto abbastanza normale)

I felt welcomed and safe. As a solo traveler this is super important for me. The details in the room were very well appointed. While the room was compact, it didn't feel claustrophobic.

Værelset er så lille at man kan ikke vende om uden at ramme noget. Hvis du har mere end lille rygsæk så skal du ikke her. Er du højre end 170 cm så hænge dine føder over sengen.

Konumu ve odanın şirinliği güzeldi. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve ilgiliydi.

Fiyat performans açısından iyi değil. Evet şirin odalar, konum güzel ama oda temiz değildi, tozluydu. Fiyata göre olanaklar çok düşük. Kahve makinesi bile yoktu. Ortak alandaki lavabo bile daha temiz ve güzel kokuyordu.

Sehr gute Lage nahe der Metrostation St. Paul. Vom Gare de Lyon aus nur 2 Stationen mit der Metrolinie 1. Marais sehr schönes Quartier mit vielen Caffees und Restaurants.

Das Bad ist offen, Lavabo und ganzes Bad nach dem Duschen unbenutzbar, da alles nass. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. WC separat.

Die Lage neben der Metro Saint Paul ist wirklich sehr gut. Rund um das Hotel auch sehr viele Lokale und Restaurants. Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich

Zimmer extrem klein. Badezimmer sehr rustikal und relativ viel Schimmel an den Fliesenrändern. Türe zur Toilette ist nur einen Spalt zu öffnen, da das Bett im Weg steht. Betten extrem weich.

Our experience started when we first entered the lobby and was met by Gwendolyn. She was very pleasant and genuinely happy to meet us. The “lobby” was an open room to the front entrance and it was where you could meet other guests for breakfast or a comfortable place to sit and watch people out of the big front windows. Breakfast was very tasty and the same every morning. 7am to 10am. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a nice touch along with a selection of teas and different kinds of coffee and hot chocolate. A selection of pastry and bread and I’d highly recommend the flaky chocolate buns which were just so delicious. We had originally booked a room no higher than the 3rd floor but we were moved to a room on the 6th floor which turned out to be perfect. The room was a decent size for two people with an adequate amount of shelving and closet space. We both had just carry on size luggage and they fit into the cupboards. The beds were comfortable and we both slept well. We had two twin beds that were basically pushed together but it worked for us. We both wore earplugs at night so can’t really attest to the noise of the hotel in the middle of the night. I used the elevator everyday and it was only good for one person with a small amount of luggage. I didn’t have to wait long at all for it to come to me. As a bonus we had our own private balcony which we took advantage of everyday. I was nice after a long day to come back and sit outside for a bit and just people watch. The shower area was actually quite good and was semi private. It was definitely a wet room with the shower and sink in one space. It was spotlessly clean and the toilet was in a separate room. A lot of reviews state that the shower area was open and in the room but this particular room (61) was not like that. The location being in Marais was the best you can get for walkability and restaurants. There is a subway entrance across the street but we didn’t use it as we could walk and enjoy our surroundings. The only places we didn’t walk to was the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Élysées and we took an Uber. There is also a grocery store across the street which was handy to pick up a few things. If you’re a woman coming to shop for pharmacy skin care there is a very well appointed pharmacy just across the street. I would definitely stay here again for all the reasons mentioned.
