Zentik Project Boutique Hotel & Spa

Beautiful property, the cave pool was an amazing experience along with the dinner and the overall premisses

It is a very good option to take a break of hurrying and stress! It was a great mini vacations with my friends in a different and ecological environment with peace, great food and a beautiful environment

Super cute and unique hotel! Hidden gem in Valladolid. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The hotel has many wonderful amenities including an ice cream shop, pool, turtles and of course, the cave. Great water pressure in the shower and comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The activities at the hotel were great

Beautiful oasis just outside the heart of Valladolid- lots of enriching activities provided by the hotel everyday. The staff were accommodating, helpful and always cheerful. Loved the murals all around the property and the magic of the underground hot spring. Rejuvenating and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an immersive yet peaceful get-away holiday.

The staff were great. Friendly and accommodating. The location was off the beaten path and not too far (by taxi) to the center of town. Eclectic hotel and the underground cave was exceptional. I would highly re omens for adults. Not a place for kids.

The cave pool, the spa offerings, and the overall environment was amazing. Definitely worth the price. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and so were the drinks. The property was also in a safe and secluded area. Anything we asked for was provided. The only thing that would need improvement would be the rooms themselves. The shower head was pretty outdated, and there was no fridge or microwave in the room. Unfortunately, the temezcal was also not in service, so I was not able to try this. Overall, still a fantastic experience and probably one the better ones available in Valladolid for the price. Would highly recommend.

Very nice. Super beautiful

Wonderful staff, very friendly service!!

The cenote is great for relaxing and the food is excellent. Many amenities and close to Ek-Balam ruins and couple of great cenotes!

This is a beautiful property. My room had a pioneer wood bath tub carved from a tree trunk. The underground cave/pool was stunning. It's a great place to just hang out.

This boutique hotel is overpriced, on expidia app, they promote and sell day pass openly to the poperty, so pool and other facilities could be uncomfortable to use. They offer daily different rates every day, at front desk, none of them were as expensive as i paid day pass passes yo amy

This was my third time staying at Zentik. Everything was great.

Los espacios fueron muy agradables al igual que el servicio muy cerca del centro. Hotel para adultos.

This place is so nice definitely we are coming back

Beautiful and tranquil oasis in Valladolid. The cave pool is unique and healing, the staff helpful and friendly, the trees and plants soothing, and the art delightfully inspiring. We also love that they provide a refuge for endangered turtles. This is a very special place. Thank you for your hospitality and unique vision.

This 12 room boutique property is wonderful. Only 2 rooms have double beds. The property is compact and has a great pool and a truly unique hot water cave pool. All is open 24 hours. Food is reasonably priced and excellent. The gardens are beautiful with plants and trees marked with names. They have an ice cream shop which is gourmet. Plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs. Parking can be tight. Also, they sell day passes so weekends can be crowded. Only minutes from Centro. Staff is attentive and bilingual. Try to book during the week, slow season with special prices.

All everyone who works there super nice and friendly Love the hotel The rooms where great and clean Check in was great bartender, waiters We even got a small lesson of the turtles The men whose takes care of them was great forgot his name his was awesome One of the bartender give us a small lesson of the Maya language Overall was great

This was a beautiful stay with wonderful staff! We would visit again! Thank you Daniela for a wonderful turtle and bee tour! We enjoyed you sharing your knowledge. Yoga on the deck was so fun too!!

Our second amazing stay at Zen’tik. It’s a wonderful, peaceful place with delicious food and drink and impeccable service.

I love staying at this quirky hotel/spa. Definitely will stay again.

Delicious food beautiful property Amazing cave

Amazing place!

The staff were amazing. The property was so much more than we expected. Perfect for someone that wants a quiet relaxing stay. The restaurant food and service was also excellent!

Very, very nice property we will be coming back as all the amenities made it a lovely stay.

This hotel is simply beautiful with so much unique artwork and murals all over the places. Service was very prompt and professional. The front desk staff, Kimberly, was extremely helpful. She coordinated a transfer from their hotel to Merida, stopping by Chichen Itza and Izamal; gave us great instructions on where to visit in Valladolid; and assured us to use their free cave. We enjoyed everything she suggested.  As we had to leave early in the morning to beat the crowd at Chichen Itza, we didn't have the opportunity to have their breakfast, but they prepared a complimentary lunch box for us, which was a really nice touch. Some stuff for consideration of improvement was 1) having some lighting at the staircase. (Our room was located on the second floor and had to be accessed using the outside staircase—it was too dark and hard to walk.) 2) having a larger mirror in the room or bathroom. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and regretted we stayed only for one night. We'll definitely go back!

Love the unique art at this hotel. Free parking, good food, generous size rooms, close to town, cenotes, activities. We had quite a bit of noise from the property next door.

Excellent experience

Excellent stay in this beautiful bouts hotel. Very nice and spacious room. Very pleasant staff. Excellent food at the restaurant which is reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Great underground hot spring pool. It was incredibly soothing to open the windows and hear the sounds of the rain falling upon the leaves of the surrounding trees.

This was probably my favorite hotel that I stayed in. I have stayed in much more high-end modern and gorgeous hotels. This experience was my favorite. The rooms are great the facility is great the people are great and the restaurant is great. And extremely reasonable. Loved the hospitality and the feel of the jungle. Five stars.

Excellent 12 room eco resort with large pool and totally unique hot water cava. Upper rooms with palapa roofs. Restaurant is wonderful and reasonably priced. Minutes to the center square and church. Service and cleanliness outstanding. Only two rooms with double beds, the rest are king size beds. No children.

Ultimate cleanliness of all areas. Friendly staff. Food in the hotel restaurant comparable, if not better than in best restaurants downtown.

Great place and the staff was Great and you will love the cave!

The hotel was amazing! We received a warm welcome by the staff and were shown around the hotel to explain the amenities offered. My favorite part was the underground cave. Beautiful, unique, magical, and the food at the restaurant does not disappoint!

Check in was seamless with Kimberly Enjoyed the welcoming tequila shot and had a wonderful 1 night stay Hotel is a destination oasis away from downtown hustle Definitely a keeper

.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Gracias

The cave was the best part of the experience, however it was closed until 21.30 because there was some event there. The roof in my room was leaking so I barely got any sleep. Internet in my room did not work at all, probably because I was in the very last room at the very end of the property. Service was average and slow.

The staff is the best

Excellent stay, great atmosphere, food and everything

Everything

Great facility and staff. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. This is the best place to stay in Valladolid.

The stay was good and the staff very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the pool.

Dining is a bit high at the price point I wish dining could be cheaper so I wouldn’t travel outside of the hotel for dinner But overall this is a great hotel, It is not crowded and pools are clean Room is clean but beware of the mosquitoes

This property is mind blowing from beginning to end!!!absolutly stunning. The staff was friendly. This was my favorite place of all of Mexico. We were supposed to stay one day and ended up 3 days.

Best place ever

Absolutely amazing!!! beautiful painting very clean and A/C. The service and food in the restaurant is excellent drinks are spot on and everything is affordable.

An amazing hotel not far from downtown!

The hotel let our expectations. The staff was very attentive and the rooms very nice and clean. We enjoyed the cache with salted water and the restaurant’s food. Excelente experience, We will come back!

Every thing was excellent!!!

Great location. The reception staff was the highlight of this hotel. Room was nice but should have a mini fridge especially in the scorching heat season. Free transportation to and from a great breakfast at Las Hamacas(included). Highly recommended *****

If you want a life time memory this is the place to stay! The experience is something else! From the amazing cold cloth and welcome tequila. To the warm cave and outdoor pool. Plus the murals and the gardens this is the most magical place. Definitely worth every penny! We can’t wait to go back!

we had an incredible stay. We cannot say enough about how wonderful the hotel was. From the beautiful garden and cave, to the chic room, to the incredible food and service, we would strongly recommend Project Zenti’k for a romantic getaway in a great city!

This was absolutely probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so unique and cool. It was clean and immaculate, and everything that you would want from my hotel in Mexico. There is a saltwater pool underground in a cave with minerals in it and it is so refreshing and relaxing and fantastic.

Great stay. We enjoyed the underground hot springs mineral pool very much, open 24 hours a day! The exterior art, murals, installations are great. We prefer not to have strange art inside the room.

This place was better than i expected. We did the spa and the underground mineral pool with the live music and it was great!

I loved the murals all over the property. That was the best part for me. The pool and cave pool are nice but crowded with day trippers, so we didnt get to use them, it took away from the entire experience unfortunately. The room was fine (upstairs thatched roof), the AC didnt cool it in the evening as much as I would like, but the shower was hot! The staff was great, everyone was very nice and helpful.

What a unique boutique hotel! Very Cute! Loved the body wash/shampoo/conditioner/body lotion made out of real honey! Towels smelled nice. Staff was very helpful. Loved the cave! It was nice to see baby turtles! It truly was an amazing experience!

Very unique. Stay for the experience

Such a beautiful space with such fantastic service. The underground pool was super fun. The included breakfast was delicious and substantial. Try the Mexican coffee with a splash of their house tequila.

Great place

This is the best place to stay in Valladolid. The hotel is very pretty, clean and spacious. The staff is very attentive and the food in the restaurant is delicious and offers a great variety of dishes.

What an amazing place! We were greeted with a frozen washcloth and complimentary shot of tequila and escorted to a comfortable seat I in the restaurant. We returned for dinner and had amazing service and conversations with Filo. Check in was smooth and quick, and our room was beautiful. We enjoyed the grounds with the many sculptures, plants, and art items. Needless to say, the cave is amazing and super clean. I highly recommend Zentik Project.

This place is very cool. The food is amazing (so make sure you take advantage of it being onsite!) as well as the waitstaff. Breakfast is included and is also very good. Everyone is super nice and the front desk will hook you up with offsite tours that you can trust. They also offer you 'soft tequilla' anytime you're dining on the house which is amazing and a welcomed surprise. The only issue I have is that it is super hot. There is air conditioning in our room which keeps it 'bearable' with the cieling fans but if you are sensitive to the heat try to get a bottom floor room as I suspect its much cooler. The top floor has a thatched roof! Very cool but hot. no pun intended. There is really cool art everywhere and both the cave pool and outdoor pool are open 24 hours, which if you travel, you know is very uncommon!

Excellent experience. Check in was fast and staff was welcoming. Facilities are in great condition.

Great place to stay not walking to town but excellent place to enjoy the hotel.

We liked everything about our stay at Zenti’k The restaurant is great and the staff are so friendly!

We loved our stay at the Zentik Project! The grounds were lovely and well kept and the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our time in the "cave pool" both days. The restaurant and bar on site had delicious food, very friendly staff and a nice ambiance. The check in staff were also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if in Valladolid!

They were making some reparations next to the pool and it was SUPER noisy. So the pool that has music and could have been very relaxing was not a place we wanted to be

Magical. The most accommodating staff ever and super unique, both aesthetically and amenity-wise. The food was outstanding, served with healthy portions of house tequila, on the house. The grotto was refreshingly tranquil. They even had a foot pool with minnows to nibble the dry skin off of your feet. The original murals and sculptures throughout were amazing. Our waiter Miguel was a pure joy and sincerely catered to our every need. Simply fabulous experience!!

It’s obvious the owners have put a lot of thought, care, and love into everything. The cave is like nothing else, anywhere!

Amazing place to stay. Check in was great, staff were amazing throughout and all the facilities were delightful. Couldn’t recommend this property enough

This place is great, Service was top notch Miguel and Berenice made us feel like family. The property is small with a-lot of artistic details. the subterranean pool/sauna room was all to our selves and Paulina our muses real took care of the nerve on my back. Not really convenient to walk into town but we really didn't want to leave so that was not an issue. Great place to chill without the hassle of a large property.

The photos are accurate, great stay, food amazing and everyone was super friendly. Saturday night a little noisy from outside bar party. Not hotels fault. Just wanted to mention. I highly recommend this place. The cave a MUST do

Well, this was a very bad experience. At 9 pm, a huge party started next door. It was like having a mariachi band in the room. According to the hotel staff, this would end at 2am and there was nothing to do about it. They understood we couldn’t sleep and decided to leave but refused to reimburse anything. Of note, this did not seem to come as a surprise to the staff- it seems it happens regularly. On the plus side the mariachi band drowned the high pitch hissing pump of the property fountain. This came on top of the spiders infested Mayan roof. There is a mosquito net around the bed but it was too short for 2 people. Apart from all this, nice place recommended mainly if risking sleeping in a nightclub is not an issue to you.

NA

Magical. Every detail, hand made, wood, art. The team are friendly and confident. My room colorful and cozy. Love this place!!

What a beautiful place to escape the world. This property is simply magical. The room felt like you were transported to an African safari. The below ground spa incredible. Restaurant five stars. Don’t be fooled by the area it’s located when you drive to it. A perfect gem. We will be returning.

La cueva es algo único y la comida es deliciosa

Zentik Project was amazing! Great value for a great location and all the amenities. I loved the food at the restaurant, the pool, and most of all the hot tub cave! Everyone was so friendly. The beds were super comfy. The hotel sent over great recommendations of things to do in the area. This is an incredible value! I can't wait to go visit again!

This property is charming in every way. The hot cenote is really special and the staff are efficient and kind.

This hotel sends out a message to relax. The entire set-up is so amazing

Very nice place. Staff were awesome.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well kept, stunning landscaping, inspiring art, and great staff. The place had a lot to offer, but is smaller than you’d expect; very cozy and quaint. Also great location to tons of ruins and cenotes. Would 100% recommend.

Great, great place! Beautifully done inside the property, unique setting, great food, wonderful staff. Super relaxing. We needed rest and relaxation after a lot of driving to Mayan ruins, and this place was perfect. We even got a massage for each of us, which was very nice.

Zenti’k is a terrific place to stay after a long day visiting Mayan ruins and swimming in cenotes! Who doesn’t like a greeting of shots of tequila? This hotel is funky and charming all bundled together. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great…full of Yucatán flavors and dishes. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Your room has air conditioning and mosquito netting over your beautiful bed. This place exceeded our expectations! Well worth it if staying in Vallladolid

Best hotel hands down in Valladolid! Not close to the main downtown area, so not so good for walking around, but super quiet and comfortable. Art everywhere, great swimming pool, fantastic restaurant bar on site, and the best of all: a warm cave pool below ground. Highly recommended!

Zentik was so amazing! It was even better than we expected. Room, Pool, Cave, Service, Staff, it was all amazing.

This spot is beautiful and artistically beautiful! You get a shot of free tequila in a baby coconut as you arrive and during dinner (or two) if your lucky. This place is a tropical paradise in the middle of a not so wonderful city. The staff were all amazing and accommodating (especially Carlos in the restaurant gave us a wonderful experience and also tips of the surrounding area.) meet tequila, one of the house’s cats who are super sweet and if you feed them seafood, will be your friend for the trip until bed time. The underground cave pool is open 24 hours and very warm and exciting. The room was private and comfortable with a front porch and wonderful air conditioning. The bed was a bit firm for us but with all the tequila it was no problem at all :). Valladolid was not what we expected but we had a good time there. It’s about 45 minutes from Chichen Itza which was an amazing experience. Overall recommend!

Beautiful location!! I highly recommend this place. Glad We were able to go. I came across this hotel on tik tok

I live in Mexico not far from the hotel but love staying there. It is so unique and wonderful. Can't say enough good about the staff. You would never know you were in the middle of town and the underground pool is just one of a kind, a must!

Beautiful boutique hotel just minutes away from the city center, Zentik offers a quiet respite from your travels. My friend and I stayed overnight after a day-trip to Chichen Itza, celebrating our adventure with a wonderful massage. The underground cave pool was delightful and warm. The hotel restaurant had a delicious breakfast on our way out! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through Valladolid!

In overall everything was great, I full recommend

This is the best hotel I been to in a long time all the staff there is really nice plus all the amenities they have like the cenote, swimming pool, spa etc I will be back when around this area again 👍 Plus it has that Yucatán Feel 😊😊😊😊

I loved our stay here but it was a bit difficult going up and down the stairs with my mom that suffers from vestibular disorder… the cave pool is a must and super relaxing… the general pool was a bit cloudy so you can only assume it isnt as clean. The staff is very friendly… my only wish is that they would have come down the stairs to help us up with our luggage as it was raining and only helped us with our things after we were checked in… also their parking space is very small and we had to park our car outside of the facility as there lot was already filled. The safe in the room didnt work but even then we wouldn’t have been able to fit in much other than our passports since the box was really small. There is no TV, but the visuals and the greenery they have outside the rooms are really pretty. There is no fridge or microwave in the room so don’t plan on saving any leftovers.

The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. They made our stay very east. Comfortable beds and very unique pool in a cave.

This place is exceptional! It's outside the city center, but not by far at all. They're repairing their roof at the time of our visit so we pulled into the parking lot and there's a black tarp hanging over it. My husband was worried. I was not. I had read the reviews and seen the photos and was convinced that there was nothing to worry about. And I was right. The entire property has murals all around by local artists, and that includes the rooms as well. The entrance from the parking lot brings you into the adjoining restaurant. After checking in, we walked through onto a gravel pathway into tranquility. We were shown the cave first. That cave is amazing! We had toured Chichen Itza and then directly into the town of Valladolid. About 7pm we decided to check out the cave and that was perfect timing. We had the place to ourselves and the water was so warm. It totally soothed us after a day of walking and exploring. They have, I believe, 12 bungalows, a salt water pool (besides the cave), areas to just sit and chill out, gardens, orchids growing directly from the trees, and a turtle sanctuary. This place is where Peace itself comes to relax. Our room was air conditioned and the bed was sooo comfortable. We woke up to the singing of birds. You will not hear traffic. You will not hear a busy city. You'll not hear anything but beautiful bird songs. Oh, and there's an occasional cat, or three, that roam the premises. One is named Tequila. The folks are extre

The onsite restaurant is very good. Staff is very friendly. No TVs in the room but honestly I didn't miss having one. Custom art is found throughout the property. The real gem here is the underground warm water pool which is just amazing and makes this property truly unique.
