We booked an 8 night stay at this hotel in the beginning March but unfortunately the situation in Gulf region escalated, our flight was canceled and we had to possibility to arrive according to our reservation. Once I got the email from the airway company I announced the hotel and asked if there is any refund option (money was redrawed few days ago), taking into consideration the force major situation. Nobody replied to me till now. My friend tried to discuss with them using the reservation account and the answer we got was no matter the conflict and suspended flights they will apply a cancelation fee of 100%. We wanted to rebook our vacation for November, to celebrate a special even, but the answer we received was the only exception they can offer is to book our stay till 31st of October and to kick off the birthday party ☹. We all know it’s the low season, rainy period, less tourists etc and a simple check on the official booking sites shows a price for 8 nights less than a half of the amount we paid. We travel a lot but we have never experienced and never expected such an unpolite, unprofessional, no empathy and material focused attitude from a hotel staff, especially in these days of international blockage. We will be back to Thailand but for sure not at this hotel. We lost some money but won an exerience, looking forward to a new wonderful vacation at a better place and surrounded by happy people.
We booked this hotel as it is high season and for its high ratings online if was very well priced and close to the main areas in Patong that me and my husband enjoy. However- paying 3000 baht on arrival for a deposit for damages is ludicrous! We thought we had booked into a club 18-30 hotel The laundry in reception was expensive and the breakfast options were limited. The roof top pool is nice but limited space- the rooms were nice and big, comfy bed but the decor was a bit tired and a few things missing like bath robe- which made the paying of 3000 Baht even more baffling!
At check-out today, November 7, 2025, at 8:00 AM, the receptionist named Uon (this is how she pronounced it) mentioned something about a missing slipper from our room. Because her English was very poor, I initially thought she was saying we had forgotten something in the room. To avoid any misunderstanding, I went back to the room with a staff member, who explained that they believed one of the room slippers was missing. There were supposed to be two in the wardrobe, and only one was there. Neither my husband nor I had ever seen or used any slippers in the room. We arrived late at night because we missed the last boat to Phi Phi, so we barely used anything in the room. I even took a photo of the slipper to ask my husband if he had seen or accidentally packed it, and he confirmed he had no knowledge of it. I returned to reception and explained clearly that we did not take anything, and that they were welcome to check our luggage. We had a taxi waiting to take us to the pier, so time was very tight. I opened all of our bags right there and asked her to look. She checked and found nothing. However, she then insisted on checking my siblings’ luggage, who were in another room, and said we would not be allowed to leave unless we paid 100 THB. This was completely unreasonable and humiliating. We opened all the luggage again, and my husband recorded the situation because it was clearly absurd. Despite seeing that we did not have the slipper, she still forced us to pay, and in the end charged 106 THB instead of the 100 THB she had mentioned. She then called the police. When the police arrived and heard both sides, they quickly understood that her accusations had no basis and allowed us to leave. This experience was extremely stressful, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We were embarrassed and effectively forced to pay for something we did not take. The staff member showed no discernment, no courtesy, and no willingness to listen. It felt like harassment and a form of extortion. A truly disappointing and unacceptable way to treat guests.
Terrible hotel. The receptionist, named Whon, intimidated us by demanding payment for a pair of flip-flops that were never found, not even in my luggage, as we opened them at the hotel reception. A complete lack of respect. They called the police after informing us that we had to pay for a sandal that was never left in the room. Upon arrival, the police confirmed the receptionist's falsehood, but she was still extremely rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
Good bars and excellent pools
Nice and affordable option when visiting Patong
Great stay! Staff were friendly, rooms clean, and the location is perfect—7-Eleven next door, Bangla Road nearby, plus tons of food stands and restaurants around. Airport shuttle was convenient, food was good, and the AC worked well. Only downside: no smart TV (so no Netflix). Overall, highly recommend!
Very good and very reasonable price for 7 night's
For the cost it’s ok,a little walk from main part of town Breakfast is fine but very limited, bed hard but normal for Thailand Would stay again for the right price
Super clean, smell amazing, super friendly staff
Was good room handy to lots of things ,we were able to walk a lot Beautiful roof top pool Helpful staff
Good value and good service, unfortunately some noisy drunk arabic male guests ruined the experience by partying at 6am, fortunately the staff dealt with them
Bad and old hotel Noisy from the pool can’t sleep Hot air condition Old room Sheet not changing
Room is all you need, the bed is comfortable, shower great and price of room excellent. Close enough to be able to walk to beach or to restaurants/bars.
Great staff, easily accessible and close to stores & bars
Convenient
A great value for money hotel. Staff extremely friendly. Pools great. Breakfast good. Beer shop across the road
The staff was fantastic always smiling and welcoming
The services they provided are exceed my expectations with the prices I paid
It was good and staff were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was limited but still nice to have.
Clean hotel with a very friendly staff. AC works great, breakfast was satisfying and stores/markets are vwry near by.
quiet on the 5th floor
Property was located on amazing location. Staff was amazing too. All the places was very easy to access from there. If you are bit further, you won't be able to sleep with loud noises from all clubs. Hence it's very good property with easy access to everywhere.
Nice and convenient to everything we needed. Price was affordable and staff were excellent.
Every thing was fantastic
Very pleasantly surprised. I picked this hotel based on reviews and walking distance from the beach, Bangle rd and the shopping center. The Paripas Pataong Resort is just outside the downtown craziness. approximately a 15 minute walk to Bangle rd, the epicenter of the nightlife, I wanted to be able to access all of the nightlife and be far enough away that the hotel was reasonably quiet. This property gave me both. Access to the beach is a 5 minute walk, and there are no shortage of restaurants, bars and convenience stores adjacent to the property. Staff was very nice, and Thai/Asian hospitality is some of the best in the world. My room was clean, comfortable and pretty nice, just above average. I was happy with the room and my maid service was excellent. I had a balcony, but no view, except of the side of the Marriott next door. Bed was also comfortable and a/c was good. I plan on returning and would definitely stay here again. I foud this property to be a great value. Only real con I can give is that I could use more or better light in the bathroom.
It’s clean and convenient
Nos gustó la atención, la zona próxima a la playa.
Great place to stay just far enough away from the craziness you’ll find great little family restaurants bars there’s a 24/7 convenience store across the road if you need to get food cold drinks for your fridge. Pool was amazing definitely recommend a room with pool access too easy. Will definitely stay again thank you
Staff very friendly and helpful the only thing is the pool's they are small and you can't use them until 10am
Nice hotel, reasonably priced with good size rooms and a nice touch that the rooftop pool doesn’t allow young children to use it. Far enough away from the bustle of Bangla Road but close enough to visit easily enough. Really friendly staff would recommend this as a nice place to stay in Patong
..
Excellent hotel Stay here 2/3 times per year Only problem this year lots of men only groups. Who cant keep there eyes to them selves (drooling and commenting over 14 year old child)
It was a very nice place in the people were excellent the breakfasts selection there was above average for sure and very good every single morning I stayed there for 2 weeks this time and 3 weeks the last time and well worth it
Great facilities and good location. Very friendly staff :)
Hotel is a disgrace confronting me upon check in with my daughter and in front of her explaining that there is 500 baht charge for bringing a lady back to your room ! Honestly I’m checking into hotel with my young daughter and all you really cared about was explaining about your extra charges absolutely disgusting behaviour
Hotel was a good stay. Good location and convenient. No complaints about the stay. Don’t hesitate to book and stay here 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅✅ This 1 star review serves as a travel advisory for anyone looking to rent a motorcycle service in the lobby of this hotel. Not once did they tell us how corrupt thai police are. They will stop you for no helmet, no shirt, no international driver license and every little thing. Don’t even try to talk right or wrong with them, they will get mad ant you. All they want is your money, pay them half the ticket fee or full price at the police station. Thai police pulled tourists over and hassle them for money over traffic laws that the locals don’t even follow. Good hotel but you guys should at least warn your guests about these scam or maybe the locals are in on it too? The police always set up trap at the busy traffic circle of Patong and every tourist gets pulled over even with helmets on while three underage thai kids with no helmet riding on one motorcycle speeding thru without a problem. Get with your police department and tell them to stop harassing tourists who come here and spend money in on your town. This is pathetic.
The staff were exceptional and it was very clean
Decent place central with lots of activities around.
Excellent place to stay
Mukava hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Parvekkeella meteli melkoista mutta äänieristys on hyvä.
Good location for me Staff very helpful and polite.
The staff was very friendly, and the place and room kept very clean
The only downfall for the resort is there is no on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner. Thankfully the location provides you with a multitude of options either direction you walk.
We stayed here 5 years ago and loved the place. We found it very old and tired now days room smelt shower was very ordinary and lighting in the room very poor.
Staff were fabulous! Very helpful!
I am a frequent traveler and usually travel at least seven times a year, three of which are international trips. Today, during check-out at the Paripas Hotel, I experienced one of the worst moments of my life. When I handed the keys to the receptionist, he checked my room and said everything was in order (room 1108). However, he mentioned that in the room where my mother and mother-in-law were staying (room 1111), a red bag was missing. Immediately, I asked them about the bag, and both claimed they hadn’t seen anything. I also didn’t remember seeing such an item in my room, and to be honest, it was an object of no significant value. Meanwhile, I called a taxi to the airport, as I was running very late, and the hotel receptionist had to rush to prevent the taxi driver from starting my trip to the airport! It was a moment of great embarrassment, all because of a bag. My mother-in-law became extremely upset and started opening the suitcases in the middle of the street, spilling her clothes on the ground. The receptionist, in turn, began to search everything, but nothing was found! He even demanded that we open my wife’s and my suitcases, which were in the adjacent room. This situation was the greatest humiliation I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this hotel; think carefully before making a reservation here. Even now, we are feeling unwell due to the stress over such an insignificant item! I will make sure to post on Instagram the video I recorded about the humiliation we experienced in the middle of the street, and share it across all travel channels, TripAdvisor, blogs, etc.
We would like the rooftop swimming pool open longer than 7pm…no sun umbrellas and no food allowed and available
We needed a room just for the night. It was clean and spacious. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Service was wonderful and the buffet was tasty. Location was great, near places to eat and shop. Hard Rock Cafe is nearby.
Breakfast was a little lacklustre and not a ton of options for it. But was an easy walk to the beach, Bangla road, and the night markets. Nightlife wasn’t too loud considering how close everything was.
Old
The hotel and staff were awesome! It’s a great location to the beach and main strip. Only complaint would be that the wifi was spotty
Hotel was clean and rooms were a good size, hotel staff were very friendly. Good location walking distance to everything but far enough away it wasn’t loud! Breakfast was really good and available for 300 baht if not included! Pool was nice with a good view and very friendly bar staff!
We had a walk in shared pool from the patio which was excellent. The room was good. Breakfast was fine, although the choice was not huge. An adequate hotel, but not outstanding. Choose a pool access room if you can
Hotel was lovely especially the roof top pool. AC in the rooms was amazing and much needed. All staff were fantastic, especially the staff in the dining room one called mima. Would recommend a visit
Overall, good stay, however, over priced and could be charged for anything insignificant like other stays. For example asking for a second key card.
Best of the best, it will be my first pick option hotel in Thailand
Conveniently located close to the night life but far away not to disturb you at nights trying to get rest.
Good place to stay
Pros: 1) The breakfast options were limited but delicious 2) The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful 3) Strategically located, within walking distance (10 min) to the beach and good restaurants 4) A short walk (15 min) to the happening Bangla street 5) A great rooftop swimming pool with great views (mountain and partial sea views) 6) The room was in decent condition, with comfortable bedding and all the basic amenities Cons: 1) The wifi does not work in the majority of the portion of the hotel (including the main lobby!). Unacceptable for a "4-star" hotel 2) I had booked a mountain view room specifically but the hotel assigned me an "another hotel's wall" view without my permission or consultation. They were not ready to change it, citing the hotel was full. Upon multiple back and forth (almost heated), I was assigned another room for the remaining 2 days of my stay 3) I paid for the mountain view but was given a viewless room for a night without compensation. Let's see if Expedia or the Paripas Hotel can do something about this I have stayed at multiple 4 and 5-star hotels, including in Thailand. This one is definitely not a 4-star in my opinion. Maybe a 3-star hotel if you stretch it. Only book if you find a good deal; there are cheaper and better options available closer to Bangla Street. A solid 6/10 for the price I paid and what I was offered.
Very nice people
Good for the price, nice staff and very responsive.
The staff and cleanliness were wonderful and always ready to help, however the water pressure and temp control was terrible (either very hot or cold). The plug in the sink couldn’t shut. I had to buy my own tissues for the room and they had the shampoo/conditioner combination. It wasn’t in the busiest area of Patong but still had the advertising trucks blasting their music and announcements at 4am. They had free ice cream on offer but after watching some children scooping their own ice creams, it didn’t seem very hygienic. Overall, this hotel should have been rated as a 3 or 3.5 star rather than 4.
Nice place, we stayed for 3 nights. About 10 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and a mall.
Great place to stay and friendly staff. Clean and very confortable.
The hotel is good, and easy to get to the beach and the many restaurants. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and had everything I needed. The wifi connection was very poor! The pool is big and clean, however not very inviting as there is very limited space around it.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff were amazing. Hotel has 2 pools. One on the roof and one on the ground floor. Awesome!!!! The access walking road to the beach was not very easy but doable. The wall between shower/ bathroom and bedroom was glass, why?!!!!
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Special shot out to Nat he was amazing with helping us book our excursions.i would recommend paripas patong resort to my family & friends and i will most definitely return.
A good hotel with a convenient location. The only downside is the slightly worn-out plumbing. Otherwise, we were completely satisfied.
Overall it’s good except the wifi is not really good. Have to lock in again and again every time come back to the room
Its a nice place to stay. Its a 5 - 10min walk to most the main attractions. It is also very quiet and peacful at night.
The staff was excellent and the property is very nice.
The airport shuttle is near the hotel if you trying to save some cash. The hotel spontaneously gave me an upgrade by placing me at the top floor which had a great view.
Great location, looked like plenty of covered parking under the hotel too. My dad and I are 6’2 and we split a twin bed room and would bet they were XL twins because our feet didn’t hang off. 7/11 and another supermarket across the street. 13 minute walk to Patong Beach and Bangla road. There is some road noise and Tuk Tuks blasting music as they drive by at 4am but it’s not too obnoxious. Awesome AC and water pressure/hot water. Very nice staff. This hotel definitely attracts a younger/solo traveler crowd. Breakfast had all the basics. Only thing that I didn’t see were if they provided pool towels. Hotel is cash only too FYI! Airport shuttle booked through the hotel picked us up on time and we were able to check in 25 minutes early.
It's a good hotel around 1km to the beach so it's a walkable distance. Near the hotel you have convenience store and close by is Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters. Room was clean WiFi was working properly.
Nice
the staff were excellent and very friendly, small supermarket across the road which was handy rooftop pool and bar were nice and relaxing. about a 10 - 15 minute walk to bangla but plenty of taxis and a motorbike taxi stand about 50m away so very convenient
10/10
Lovely hotel, great service
Concierge was so helpful and friendly he brought a smile to my face every time I left and came back to the hotel. Very clean place and smells great all the time
We really enjoyed our stay at Paripas. We visit Phuket each year and this was the first time we’ve stayed here. Great location, rooms were clean, and staff friendly. Good value for money & would recommend.
This was our 4th stay at the Paripas Hotel, Patong, excellent as usual, staff are all so friendly and can't do enough for you.
The internet was rubbish
Was quite skeptical when i arrived at the hotel as the place doesnt look new but the moment you stepped in, u’ll be greeted with smiles all the way till you checked out! Room was clean but no toothbrushes; no worries. Staffs were very helpfull. My son got sick on our last day and the reception helped to call up the clinic. A man named Victor if i’m not mistaken(stationed at the tour desk) was very friendly and helpful in recommending the types of activities that you can try. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Will back again in the near future.
The hotel is ideally situated just steps away from stunning beaches, vibrant markets, and a plethora of dining and entertainment options. Whether you're looking to relax on the soft sands, indulge in local cuisine, or enjoy the island's nightlife, everything is conveniently within reach. Dining options around the hotel are abundant. From authentic Thai eateries to international restaurants, there’s something to suit every palate. Good location for a short trip.
It’s not much good eateries around the area.
Using the word resort in the name is misleading. At best this is a motel with a limited buffet breakfast. The pool access room was good, however the glass window between the bathroom and bedroom wasn’t. Little to no privacy in the bathroom and you can’t turn the light on at night without waking the other people in the room. They don’t stock zero coke in the bar, so we purchased some from the supermarket over the road. Probably saved us a fortune really. The roof top pool access is very steep and if you have mobility problems, can be a challenge. The location was great and easy to get around. I know it seems like we didn’t like this place but we did. Just a few things that could have been better.
Not overly impressed with the hotel. The photos look a lot better than the actual hotel. The staff are friendly but the hotel isn’t the cleanest. I wouldn’t return here
The crew was amazing and friendly, the hotel is near all the main points that Phuket have, the room was big and Awesome! Really loved the hotel!
Great location , few min walk to the beach and public transport , lot is restaurants and shopping next to the hotel . Room is very comfortable , staff is friendly and very helpful . Highly recommended hotel in Patong beach area
Really good for local ameneties
Paripas Hotel Patong is the place to be when in Phuket for a good, clean, comfortable and friendly stay.. I read some of the reviews and was concerned about how the hotel experience will be.. It isn’t a 4/5 star resort property and for the price you pay, you get Great service. Very transparent on the facilities and pricing. The rooms were great and clean. Large comfortable rooms with modern Toilets and large shower. Need little improvements here or there but definite value for money.
The property was conveniently located to all the attractions. Staff was very professional and efficient. The persons helping arrange tours, taxi service and laundry did an excellent job.
Great stay
Overall was amazing 19/10
Everything about this property is really nice.
The hotel staff were friendly and the room met all expectations of a 4 star hotel. Pool areas were great.
We have Stayed before in the Paripas with friends and as a couple and few times. We like the location, and the simplicity of the hotel. The reason we are coming back again in the new year is the rooftop pool and small bar. We find this a great chillout space to have a drink, listen to music and enjoy comfortable cushion sunbeds. This is something hard to find even in higher star hotels. The only issue we have with the hotel is the no food policy around the rooftop pool. I can understand they don't wish you to bring your own drinks because they have a bar, but they don't offer food which is ok... but to prevent you having your own snack is actually costing the hotel money. On a day we would spend a good amount on drinks (English!) , then have to get changed, leave the hotel for food then spend money on cocktails / beers else where. It doesn't make sense to allow guests to leave and spend their money at other establishments. My partner got asked to stop eating mango while relaxing on her sunbed... we had already spent 1000bht on drinks? Maybe the management need to review this policy and help the customers relax and spend more time and money in the hotel.
Breakfast staff was amazing! They took care of request made and me feel welcomed. Reception was very helpful and knowledgeable, was able to answer all my questions! Great staff!!
3 nights turned to 5 Stayed before in this hotel and love the rooftop pool and small bar. Great to chill out with a drink with cushions on the loungers listening to the music. Location is walking distance to the beach and most things. Great price for a central stay. My only criticism is hard pillows and noisy aircon Stay on reception very friendly and helpful!
