The hotel itself was clean, and the employees seemed friendly. We went to the pool twice, and it was one of the most secure pools we’ve been in ( only 2nd to Disney’s Aulani). Our entire family had to check in for towels and wristbands. The pool was nice with a waterfall. They also have swings, a hot tub, and a fire pit. My daughters both enjoyed the treadmills which had Hawai’i locations to look at. We tried the Starbucks which seemed overpriced. My daughter also said her drink was not very good. I walked to McDonald’s for breakfast each morning. Their coffee was better. We were not interested in the Polynesian Cultural Center next door, but they did have good food trucks. There are several great lunch and dinner options a short drive away.

Proximity to PCC and the pool area was lovely.

Paper cups in our room and no glasses to drink from. Not good for a supposed luxury hotel. The room was also very dark with only a few low lighting lamps.

The property was nicely located

The bathroom had a strong urine order. The refrigerator also had a strong order or spoiled food. I was disappointed in the sheets they were very bumpy and rough .

We hadn’t heard of this hotel before, but noticed it was next door to the Polynesian cultural center, so we wanted to crash there after the night show, and drive back to Waikiki in the morning. The hotel was built in 2015 so it’s quite new, with a lot of device charge ports. Each room has a wall AC unit (loud) and fridge. The WiFi was good. The bathroom was fine but kind of an outdated look - no big deal. Blackout drapes and beds were fine. The staff was very nice and the amenities are great with a nice pool, games, and rental equipment for the beach. Plenty of parking with some shade provided by shrubbery and trees. Onsite Starbucks, counter service restaurant, and gas station style snack shop. McDonald’s and foodland are nearby too. It was great to be able to go to the PCC for a while, then return to the room to cool off and rest, and then return to the park quickly. It was pricey for June around $400 for 2 queen room, but it did make our trip more comfortable.

Loved everything. The staff were so nice and helpful. Great activities. Great beach access.

Das Hotel bietet aus unserer Sicht ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer sind dunkel, wirken veraltet und aus dem Waschbecken im Bad kam ein unangenehmer Geruch. Trotz der hohen Zimmerpreise fallen für viele Leistungen zusätzliche Kosten an, beispielsweise für Parken oder Strandstühle, die in anderen, günstigeren Hotels oft inklusive sind. Das gastronomische Angebot beschränkt sich auf ein wenig einladendes Bistro in der Lobby, die insgesamt eher an ein Hostel als an ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse erinnert. Der Strand direkt gegenüber dem Hotel eignet sich kaum zum Baden. Auf unsere Beschwerde wegen des Geruchs im Badezimmer erfolgte zwar eine Entschuldigung, jedoch keine weitere Entschädigung.

We thought location was great. We were hoping to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly, housekeeping was very nice. We did not expect the people in the evening who were not guest to be congregating and taking up the areas, they were playing hide n seek. Freeze tag, crowding the hot tub. Skateboarding and bouncing balls and throwing footballs. It was a strange situation. We could not relax or use the area. Definitely not a pleasant experience unless you like daycare center environments.

The staff was super friendly. Kind housekeeping, kind staff at front desk and Bistro.

We were not able to use the hot tub or pool. The entire area was filled with large groups that were not hotel guest. The pool was full and the hot tub was packed with children. Children ran around on scooters and skateboarding. Playing tag and other running games. No relaxing at all. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Die Klimaanlage machte während des Betriebs starke Geräusche. Nachdem wir dies an der Rezeption gemeldet hatten, wurde sofort ein Techniker geschickt, welcher den Mangel beseitigt hat.

Nous avions fait deux réservations distinctes et le personnel a tout fait pour que l'on garde la même chambre pour les deux réservations. Nous les remercions pour leur disponibilité et leur professionnalisme.

Le personnel est agréable et professionnel. Ils sont a l'écoute. Nous avons réservé pour 3 personnes et nous sommes arrivés à 5. Le monsieur du check-in nous a proposé une chambre plus grande sans coût supplémentaire. Nous avons vraiment apprécié ce geste.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un choix plus large pour les repas mais il y a des supérettes à proximité.

Everything was wonderful.

Ideal for visiting PCC, Laie Temple and visitor center, local beach and local food. Classes: Ukulele, lei and necklace making. Extra towels, clean, great front desk.

It may just be me but, the pillows were to flimsy, no support even using 2, neck pain, affecting breathing.

Had a microwave & fridge. Rooms were large with alot of room even with a couch in the room with two queen beds. Alot of things to do in the hotel and just around the area. Must stay for those going to the Polynesian Cultural Centre and those staying around North Shore.

Aircon wasn't working by the two last days and made it uncomfortable to sleep in

Our room had very little sound proofing. The family in the room above us was up very late at night and very early in the morning. It sounded like elephants stampeding. We asked to move if possible and were told all the rooms had noise issues on our floor. It was very hard to sleep.

Perfect location for our needs in attending a wedding.

Due to the Kona low storm we had no power for 2 days and as a result no amenities such as pool or hot tub and the worst was no hot showers. I feel like a partial refund should be due. Or a discounted future stay.

A rain storm was expected and the hotel had a lot of games for kids to play. The staff friendliness was a mixed bag, some were very nice and professional, but some were the exact opposite. The swimming pool was small but nice and the staff there exceptional. Location next to the cultural center is ideal, if you plan to visit.

In the morning no free coffee. $4 for a cup of coffee out of a thermos. Free WiFi was not free even though it was so advertised, television was not free although it was advertised as such.

This is one of my favorite hotels. Not only is it located in one of the most beautiful spots on earth, but it's got an amazing staff as well. It's located a five-minute walk from the Polynesian Cultural Center, which is an incredible place to visit. And it regularly features amazing cultural classes, like Aunty Kela Miller teaching the ukulele and hula nearly every morning. She's a local legend. When we were there, we also were treated to a "Talk Story" entertainment night, where Eddie Maiava and others (including Kap from the PCC) performed music and dance right in the conference room by the front desk. Everyone associated with the hotel does such a great job making your stay excellent. The atmosphere, it goes without saying, is amazing. There is a beautiful beach just steps away across the street. The rooms are great, the showers are really good, and the beds are comfortable. The cleaning staff even leave little gifts of chocolate macademian nuts on the bed every day. I love it here and can't wait to come again.

I loved the coconut demonstration "Uncle" Eddie gave! He is so personable and fun to talk to. He didn't even seem to mind that I was the only one there for it at that time. I felt very valued as a guest and person!

The Cafe seemed quite expensive for not a lot of food. What we did get tasted okay though.

The iron in the closet fell on my husband’s foot when he took out the blanket on the shelf above. The view from the window was onto the highway a few feet away and the pedestrian sidewalk was even closer so anyone passing by could look in. The windows did not open so couldn’t get any fresh air. We could hear the kids running and jumping on the floor above us. The staff was not very friendly - very much like automats. They charged extra for parking and for a very simple breakfast, and the room rate was very expensive for the location, facilities and accessories.

We love this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area has tons of seating and access to games. The lobby also has tons of seating and hang out areas. Rooms are clean and convenient. Loved walking across the street to the peaceful beach for sunrise. Great location for being in the jungle area as opposed to the city of Honolulu. Five stars for this impressive and affordable hotel.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable. It was a family friendly hotel with a lot of board games, pickleball court, yard games and swimming pool. Great location and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice view. Breakfast was decent but nothing special. Pool very nice and has a hot tub. Problem is those people who think that the hot tub belongs to them alone and hog the whole thing for hours. This place sits in the middle of an outdoor mall which is nice because lots of restaurants nearby but no view at all and parking can be difficult.

Frukosten är en katastrof. Du ska beställa från en meny som är prissatt som en restaurang varpå du bara får beställa en sak. Inte ens kaffe ingår. Gör om! Gör en separat buffé/meny för de gäster som bokat frukostpaketet (som var väldigt dyrt för det man fick) där de kan välja åtminstone tex. yoghurt + ägg + bröd + kall dryck + varmdryck.

Rom and hotel very good with good sized pool and lovely outdoor seating area. breakfast good but no buffet, order and then Starbucks drinks.

Didnt realise it was in a "dry town" a cold beer at the end of a long drive would have been lovely!

Die Lage ist sehr gut - Strand, Essensmöglichkeiten, Supermärkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Es gibt einen Starbucks direkt im Hotel. Ausserdem gibt es Workshops im Hotel (Ukuele, Hula, usw), welche besucht werden können und toll sind.

Im Zimmer war es sehr kalt und man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen. Wir waren bereits etwas angeschlagen, als wir eingecheckt haben und mit der Kälte im Zimmer wurde dies sehr schnell schlimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr teuer. Das Hotel ist zwar schön und das Personal sehr nett, doch trotzdem finde ich den Preis zu hoch.

The hotel is well located close to the Polynesian Cultural Center. This means that there are many food and shopping options within 5 minutes' walk. The pool is very nice and there are fun facilities like a pickeball court, volleyball, basketball etc. Also free cultural activities every day.

Limited food options inside the hotel. Also bear in mind, for drinkers, that it is a dry hotel and a dry town so there is no alcohol.

Wonderful hotel! Property is beautiful and just has a wonderful vibe. Each staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly! They have made the most of the property grounds with lovely seating areas, wonderful pool area and lawn games. The lobby area has a great living room feel to gather with friends and family. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the unique layout of our room with a king and 2 bunk beds!! If you are heading to north shore definitely stay here!

Too dry

It was an excellent location, right next to the Polynesian cultural center which was convenient to come back to after the luau. The room was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was nice and the pool area had nice seating available. Very close to a lot of the North Shore restaurants and beaches.

Breakfast staff were neither nice nor service minded. You could not get Tea or eat at different times. But the food was good.

This is our 4th visit to Hawaii and 3rd at this hotel. I travel a lot and this is the absolute best hotel experience I have ever had! The hotel is clean with great amenities and an amazing staff from the desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant. They are incredibly friendly and will do whatever is in their ability to accommodate your needs.

The location of this property to the Polynesian Cultural Center wins it for us. We stayed here for 2 nights, to thoroughly enjoyed the Center. The Center would really need a 3 day trip if you would really want to enjoy every activity they have to offer. This is also a great base to explore Eastern Oahu as well as the Kualoa Ranch. We came around 11AM. We were assisted by a very bubbly and kind gentleman. Check in was smooth and quick. The room was not ready and we were told that they would notify us via the apps once the room was available. They made the room available at 1PM. Woohoo. The room was a little bit dated but comfortable. The room was spacious and immaculately maintained. Their 2 double sized beds will be perfect for family of four. The bathroom was nice with basic amenities provided. We slept like babies. The pillows, linen and bed felt nice and fresh. Overall, an excellent stay, and we would not hesitate to come back the next time we hit the North Shore. Do not forget to enjoy their beach, just across the street, via their private pathway. Do not forget also to check out Giovanni's at the Kahuku food truck areas.

Eveything ! Quiet rooms , exceptionally clean . Very comfortable a d fabulous decide through hotel , classy and chic . We had Excellent staff - truly ! Friendly and so professional . Great little bistro , and coffee. Right across from beach with affordable rentals for surf boards etc. simply fantastic outdoor area & parking is right there . So many gorgeous cozy areas outside & very private and relaxing . We were sooo impressed . Would be perfect for families .

Good location, good facilities, helpful staff.

Very expensive for what it is! Then to charge $20 per day for parking on top is taking the proverbial. It’s not an inner city area where space for parking is at a premium! Parking charge feels like gouging.

Perfect place to relax!

The Hotel has an amazing location, right next to the PCC which is a must do when in Oahu. The pooal area is fascinating we loved it with our 3 year old. The building is clean with a chill Hawaiian vibe. We also liked the beach that was right the other side of the road.

Only downside is the alcohol free policy but we kew it in advance and did not dissapoint us to much.

Bisto/Cafe is a welcome addition.

Breakfast set up was odd, yum, but odd set up with what you can get and what makes a meal.

Serene country life with access to open beaches, hiking and the North shore. The very opposite of Waikiki! Large spacious rooms, easy parking, luxury and a large pool. And the perfect beaches walking distance away!!! Empty of people, views for miles and near amenities. We come here for 5 days every time we come to the islands. Just to relax, swim my and hang out on the north shore. No night life, no open alcohol, and very quiet. ( unless there is a school group here and then!!!! Energy abounds).

Das Zimmer und vorallem das Badezimmer waren gut von der Grösse her. Der Aussenbereich war sehr schön.

Das Fitnesscenter müsste mal überarbeitet werden, das eine Gerät war ziemlich rostig.

I wish the windows opened. We do not like having the air con in the room having to be run continuously without getting any fresh air. Wish the rooms had a balcony. We cut the stay short by 2 nights.

Gefallen hat uns die Größe des Zimmers und der viele Platz um das Hotel herum. Es gibt innen und außen viele Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie Parkplätze (allerdings kostenpflichtig). Die Deko ist schön und alles war sauber. Da es im Norden der Insel kaum Hotels gibt, würde ich in diesem Marriot wieder absteigen.

Es gibt kein Frühstück für 9€ pro Person, wie bei Booking angegeben. Für ein Frühstück an der Theke haben wir 45€ für 2 Personen/Tag ausgegeben für 2xSandwich, 1 Kaffee, 1 Saft. Dieses war am Counter zu bestellen und teilweise bildeten sich längere Schlangen, da nur 1 Schalter. Im Zimmer war die Luft nur bei laufender Klimaanlage erträglich, welche aber nur ab 75 Grad F. und darunter ansprang. Ansonsten bildete sich in kurzer Zeit ein meicheliger Geruch. Dh. man hatte die Wahl zwischen Kälte oder schlechtem Geruch. Fenster liessen sich leider nicht öffnen.
