Location good. Pool area a bonus. Friendly helpful staff. Room tidy. Big bed. Ok mattress.

The air con wasn't great.

Excellent location in a quiet part of town. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent. We did not use the pool, as we rarely do, but it seemed very popular with families and children. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in a lovely and clean hotel.

Really enjoyed our two weeks stopping at this hotel first off Staff everyone of them absolutely fantastic they couldn't off been more welcoming and friendly , the hotel is in the perfect location its a 10 minute walk up to the square with its cafes and shops and a 30 second walk to the sea . We had a double room which was great and was kept clean daily plenty of hot water and the air conditioning worked perfectly , TV on the wall so we could get Netflix and other channels just by logging in to your account . Drinks and food from downstairs walk great and reasonable price we had no problem getting a lounger in the two weeks we spent there , would i return .. Absolutely .. Gets a massive thumbs up from me .. 👍

On the upside first. We were given a pool view room over looking the harbour. Cleaned everyday and bed & towel changes every other day. Area around pool and beds were cleaned every morning before breakfast. Drinks and food were really good (tried most of the menu) Prices were the same as in the town, which were good. Staff on all areas were exceptionally good and even the cats were well behaved 😊 You would have to go far and wide to get an amazing sunset that matches the one from this hotel and the beach Leff & George on reception are very helpful and if needed anything they will sort it out Down side. Locals are aloud to use the pool so on a weekend became quite noisy after 5pm until after 9pm which stopped us eating a nice meal on the terrace If you struggle with walking, there are quite big steep roads to climb to get to the town but Taxis are only 5 euro to the square. Breakfast is acceptable but quite bland & only one dish different per day We would return if planning to visit that area again

Location, pool and hospitality.

Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom situation was not good. Had a suite but the bedrooms did not have their own door and had to enter the suite through one of the bedrooms. Showering was an issue and no ventilation in the bathroom

Very clean with friendly staff & great aircon. We had a back view balcony room which was lovely and looked toward the mountains. Breakfast had a large selection of everything you could want. Short walk to an amazing fish restaurant on the harbour& great beach with comfortable sunbeds a short walk away. Loggerhead turtles swimming in the harbour 💝

Perfect location, 5 minute walk to Beach, staff very helpful, Good quality Sun beds with a nice pool. Area has plenty of nice restaurants and small bars, not a major tourist area which means no boom boom music, a refreshing change and a beautiful place to relax. Small port by hotel has plenty of turtles swimming in it. Nice walk along Beach and you will find plenty of little coves with access to wonderful clear sea. Sunset at night is beautiful. Totally recommend this area and Kyparissia beach Hotel.

L'hôtel est bien équipé et bien entretenu. Personnel courtois sans plus. Contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser penser son nom, l'établissement est plutôt situé sur le port. Mais la plage est à 5mn de marche.

Pour la chambre, je suis mal tombé. Elle était assez petite et sans balcon. Un ancien débarras aménagé en chambre 😆 Situé au niveau du parking, donc plutôt bruyante...dommage le reste était parfait.

Hotel no complaints. The location is dreadful, its very hilly and therefore you need a taxi to go to the square and the old town. We would not go back just because the location. Breakfast is the same everyday so gets boring. We did have a kettle in our room as we upgraded. Beware it very very hilly

Lovely pool area overlooking the port ( with turtles galore here!) Lots of choice for breakfast. Exceptionally clean and probably the first hotel I've stayed in where there change your bedding every other day. There was a lovely ( completely deserted, just us! ) beach very closeby, called Nice beach, bliss! We had pre hired a car and it was dropped at the back door, I would highly recommend this and I think I may of got a little stir crazy without it. There is a great sunday market and a 20 minute drive (or taxi) away, for 50 euros I bought A LOT! I highly recommend eating at Taverna Kleideris too, which is opposite the watermill, we had two outstanding meals there.

יש בריכה, אם רוצים המלון מספק ארוחת מסעדה, אנחנו החניכים לרדת לחוף, אנשים שרותים מאד, נפל ליו משהו מהחניה לחדר והם מצאי והביאו לנו בלי שבכלל ביקשנו. עשו סיור ליד המכוניות לבדיקה אם הכל כשורה. עזרו במציאת חנות שביקשנו. התחלנו את הבוקר בקפה ורק אחר כך ירדנו שוב לארוחת בוקר. לא הייתה להם בעיה עם זה.

Close to a lovely beach; great pool area.

Our room was loud because we were on a low level and near the parking.

We had a lovely stay at Kyparissia Beach Hotel. We loved the pool, the stunning sunset views, the delicious breakfasts and seeing the turtles in the harbour everyday! Kyparissia Old Town up the hill was beautiful and we very much enjoyed the Castle and the Old Watermill. It was early in the season but the nearby Pememntzo Taverna in the marina was just perfect! Everyone at the hotel was really lovely but the guys at reception were especially great, sorting us out car hire, suggesting places to go and connecting us with Myriad Paths and Stasinopoulos Winery for an amazing wine tasting and Greek cooking experience. Highly recommended!

Air climatisé non fonctionnel , nous avons dû faire fonctionner le ventilateur du plafond. La douche coulait par terre dans la salle de bain , nous avons étendu des serviettes. À corriger.

Great staff and good location.

Room was a bit on the small side, but we had a large balcony that made up for that.

This small hotel had everything we wanted for our stay in Kyparissia. Our room was a tad small for the luggage we had for a two week stay but George was able to give us a larger room, the balcony overlooked the garden and swimming pool and a beautiful view over the harbour where we could watch the setting sun in the evening. The reception area is airy with comfortable sofas and chairs. The dining room is spacious, opening onto the pool area where there are tables and chairs and plenty of sun loungers. There was a good selection of dishes for breakfast, freshly cooked, hot and cold items, endless supply of teas & coffee. All areas were sparkling clean and bedrooms serviced daily, beds very comfortable. Both my husband and I were ill during our holiday and George arranged a GP appointment for my husband and a few days later I needed an appointment and the owner Nicholas arranged my appointment and kindly offered to drive me to the surgery. The entire staff were wonderful, welcoming, always smiling and helpful. Lefteris on reception, also went out of his way to help us. Although several places were still closed as it was early in the season there were still plenty to choose from for lunch or dinner. Several, a few minutes from the hotel and more in the town, an 8 minute walk up hill. Further up the hill in the old town is the castle ruins and a few excellent restaurants in the old town itself. Our two favourite places to eat were Ammos, a 6 minute walk from the hotel and the taverna right next door, (can't remember the name). Kyparissa Beach Hotel is a gem with old world charm and modern comfort in a perfect setting away from the main tourist centres. We loved it and will return.

Ambiente und Personal

Nette Unterkunft mit geräumigen Zimmern und freundlichem Service. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist für griechische Verhältnisse geradezu sensationell. Direkt nebenan gibt es ein tolles Restaurant.

Das Hotel liegt zwar unmittelbar am Strand, dieser ist aber kein klassischer Badestrand. Kyparissia ist sicherlich nicht der schönste Ort auf dem Peloponnes.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel beyond my expectations... Location was perfect, a short walk to the center and still very quiet and opposite a harbor. Our room had everything we needed including a balcony overlooking the pool, harbor and sea. But what made my stay really special is that I was looking for a Greek woman that I fell in love with 40 years ago who lived in Kyparissia (but lost her address) and that the staff at the reception were able to find her! They were so kind and helpful and made it possible that I could meet her again and that we could share our memories of the past. Thank you só much! Whenever I'll stay in Kyparissia again, for sure I'll come back to your lovely hotel.

Nothing really. The seaside rooms are a little bit better than the mountainview rooms.

Such a friendly hotel with warm hearted staff doing their utmost to make a great experience. Spotlessly clean and v comfortable, with good bar snacks. Lots of variety for breakfast. In a quiet street close to a working harbour don’t expect to see playboys and yachts here but fishermen landing their catch and giant turtles! A short walk uphill to the town’s square which has lots of bars. Just before you get to the square on the opposite side of the rd is a great restaurant with external tables and v gvfm with starter, main course and a ltr carafe of wine costing 29 euros for 2 of us. Old Kaprissa at the top of the hill near the Castle is well worth a visit and has great views and good selection of restaurants but you need a taxi at 7 euros one way. Would highly recommend this hotel

Kyparissia in October is quiet but we enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and helpful staff and well appointed hotel. Kyparissia had nice restaurants- we enjoyed Ammos on the beach for fish and cocktails. Would recommend.

Wonderful stay! We stayed for four days and will definitely be returning soon. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warm smiles, and everyone was eager to guide us so that we could make the most of our experience in the area. The breakfast was excellent, featuring genuine Greek products – yoghurt (much better than what we get as “Greek yoghurt” back home!), local delicacies, traditional treats, and fresh regional fruit – a true taste of the Mediterranean diet. Everything was spotless, both the communal areas and the rooms, and you could really feel the care and attention of the staff. We were especially impressed by the bar – everything was very reasonably priced compared to what we pay back home – from beers and cocktails to the delicious food. We travelled around Messinia for twenty days, and Kyparissia Beach was by far the best place we stayed. The staff truly made the difference and showed us the true meaning of Greek hospitality. See you again soon, my friends!

First of all a big thankyou to all the lovely staff for the excellent stay at your great hotel. You made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink was excellent. Amenities were close by, the square, the castle, the old town and a lovely quiet beach. The free wifi was excellent, the room was great and cleaned daily and couldn't fault this hotel. Hopefully will be back soon.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ausreichend groß, schöner Balkon mit Hafenblick. Frühstück war ok. Es gab einen eigenen großen Parkplatz.

Im Zimmer gab es nur einen Stuhl, obwohl viel Platz war. Die Stuhlbeschaffung war mit der Rezeption etwas "zäh". Die Bettmatratzen waren etwas "schwabbelig".

Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Tolle Lage direkt am Meer. Ein Taxi zur Burg war binnen 2 Minuten am Hotel. Das Hotel selber: extrem nettes Personal, sehr sauber, komfortabel. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir können hier eine klare Empfehlung geben und kommen gerne wieder.

Hôtel conforme à nos attentes: calme, propreté etc. Bon restaurant (pizza grecque très copieuse) et bon petit déjeuner mais café trop léger en caféine à notre goût. Nous avons pu assister à un spectacle étonnant depuis le restaurant : la pluie torrentielle ! (on s'entendait à peine avec le serveur, assez drôle)

Well put together and comfortable. Pool looked nice but it was pouring with rain, and literally I was taking refuge after a car problem.

What a lovely,friendly family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms were spotless, cleaned every day and changed every 2 days. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, the food was very nice. The area around the hotel is quiet which is what we wanted but there are restaurants a short walk away and the old town is well worth a trip for a €5 taxi ride which the hotel will book for you. All in all a very relaxing break

Hotel was fine.. Lived up to the expectations of the 3 star. However, the location is awful and derelict.. It mentions beautiful harbour.. i have uploaded photos of the harbour and surrounding areas.

Wij reizen al een tijdje rond in de Peloponnesos en elke keer weer een andere uitvalsbasis. Dit jaar hadden we gekozen voor Kyparissia en via zoeken op Booking het Kyparissia Beach Hotel geboekt. Dat bleek een schot in de roos! Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de stad gekozen maar bij binnenkomst werden we gelijk verrast met de mededeling dat we een kamer met uitzicht op zee kregen. Dit zonder verdere kosten! Elke morgen staat er een uitgebreid ontbijt klaar met o.a. yoghurt, fruit, diverse griekse hapjes, croissantjes, gebakken ei of gekookt en nog veel meer lekkere dingen. Er is de hele dag personeel aanwezig die je aan alle kanten wil helpen en je voorzien van een hapje en drankje. Het zwembad heeft een redelijke afmeting en in de middag is er een aantal rusturen, dan mogen de kinderen niet in het zwembad. Het hele complex wordt elke morgen ook schoongemaakt voor een frisse start van de dag. De kamer is prima, zo ook de douche en wc en het belangrijkste, prima bedden! Ook een airco ontbreekt niet en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon in prachtig, elke avond met genoegen de zonsondergang kunnen bekijken. De gasten in het hotel komen veelal uit Griekenland zelf en aangevuld met wat Engelsen, wij waren in de 2 weken dat wij er waren de enigste Nederlanders. Het hotel wordt gerund door een hele vriendelijke familie die er alles aan doet om de gasten het naar de zin te maken. Na terugkomst uit de taverne in de stad hebben we dan ook regelmatig met de eigenaren een borreltje gedronken! Wij, met onze Griekse namen Christos en Maria from China, willen dat ook de hele familie bedanken voor deze prachtige tijd !

Stayed at Kyparissia Beach for 2 weeks in August with my wife and two teenage sons staying in a family suite. The room was fine with tvs in both room, wifi and air con which worked whilst in the room. We had bed and breakfast but didnt really do breakfast most days, it was continental type with pastries, eggs, ham, yogurts and some hot greek dishes too. The best thing about this place is that it feels homely and peaceful with staff doing everything they can for you from car rentals and advice on trips to information on local turtles in the harbour and beaches! We had a great time, it is clean and well maintained and the owners care about your visit, even getting a gift of olive oil when we left! It felt like visiting family rather than going to a hotel at times. Apostolis was amazing with us and spoke great English and had great banter with my kids which made our holiday. Meals at the hotel is great and served 2pm until 10pm, with pizza to pasta and other greek dishes. Lots of restraunts locally all very reasonably priced too. Would go back and thank you 😊

Really enjoyed our time here. I went with my daughter. The hotel was extremely clean and cane up to the exacting standards of a germaphobe (my daughter!) the staff at the hotel were all lovely. The waiters and waitresses., housekeeping and staff on reception were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is lovely and there is an extensive choice- you can choose to sit and eat by the pool or not. The hotel kichen is open in tbe evening for food. The old Town is very atmospheric with great views ovsr the town. Well worth a trip. Worth booking in advance if you want to eat up there. The hotel booked our restaurant the first night and when we wanted to book again for the following night it was full. The square area in the lower town is nice to eat in as well or there are various restaurants by the beach. We just had a fly and flop holiday and if I came back to this hotel another time I would hire a car and explore the area as there is loads to see. There doesnt seem to be loads of sunbeds however there were always a couple available whenever we wanted one.

Wir haben 11 schöne Tage im Hotel Kyparissia Beach mit der Familie verbracht. Neben dem besonders freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal möchten wir die gepflegte saubere Gartenanlage mit seinem schönen Pool und der Terrasse erwähnen. Das Frühstück und die Snacks der Bar waren sehr gut. Der Strand ist in nur wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Wir können diese kleine Hotelanlage sehr empfehlen.

Hotel is clean welcoming and pretty. The staff are very friendly with a nice selection at breakfast. However a few things to take into account 1 - dogs are welcome at this hotel in the rooms and around the pool area 2 - rooms are air con but not if you like it very cool 3 - there are cats ( as per most Greek restaurants) 4 - the pool started crystal clear but did get a bit murky 5 - pool is open to anyone so gets busier in the late afternoons and weekends

Χρήζει ανακαίνισης για το χώρο του δωματίου. Το A/C δεν ειχε καλη απόδοση ενω ο ανεμιστήρας εκανε θόρυβο στην δυνατή λειτουργία. Μπορεί να ειναι μεμονωμένο θεμα. Τα κουφώματα ειναι σιγουρα παλιά ενω δεν υπήρχε σιτα για τα έντομα.

Tussen 14u30 en 17u30 mogen geen kinderen in zwembad en moet het rustig zijn maar men laat wel honden toe die bij elke beweging in de buurt blaffen!!!!! Airco is versleten en werkt zeer traag.

Agree with other reviews - great friendly hotel, lovely room overlooking the sea and we saw turtles! Spent most of the time around the pool and snorkelling off the beach (very quiet, unmanaged beach to the right of the hotel). Lovely traditional restaurants close by. It was so good we have booked to go back in September - can't wait. Will hire a car next time for a few days to see surrounding area. If you want a taxi or anything - just ask at reception, they are so helpful.

A lovely hotel! The staff make this place such a great place to stay. The breakfast is lovely and fresh and the whole place is spotless thanks to the dedication of the housekeeping staff. It is not ultra modern which I really like. The air con in our room wasn’t ultra powerful but there was as an overhead fan above the bed too which was helpful (I could have mentioned it I suppose but it wasn’t a big deal!) Reception staff are always happy to help with arranging taxis, car hire and excursions ( the sunset horse riding is great!) and even the local cats are polite! Pool is clean and the beds around are very comfortable and scrubbed every morning. Theres a good selection of drinks snacks and ice cream from the bar which is fab in the hot weather The local harbour has large turtles swimming which is lovely to see, and a short walk away is a beach with beds umbrellas and lifeguards on duty. Thank you so much for the hospitality and sharing your space with us ☀️

Just returned from a lovely break here -friendly staff who couldn't do enough for people, very clean. Comfortable decent sized rooms. Clean pool.usual continental breakfast. Only criticism is not many sunbeds but a lot of people go to the beach anyway so not a problem .thd main kyparissia beach is a short walk away sunbeds are 10 or 20 euros depending on which you use for 2 beds plus shade-but free if you eat or drink there .go to the beds in front of ammos-gorgeoux food Would highly recommend this hotel

Amazing hotel with an excellent breakfast and service. Rooms were very clean, beds comfy, kids loved the area, close to shops and restaurants and a great pool on location.

Nice beach location, quiet and nice swimming pool. Staff were very kind and helpful and spoke good English.

The air conditioning was broken the whole time we were there. It was supposed to be fixed on the second day but it never worked. Luckily we were there at the beginning of May so it was comfortable enough at night with just the ceiling fan. Rooms are small and very dated.

Very friendly staff and they let us put our bike in a safe garage. The pool looks out over gorgeous views of the sea and is perfect for lounging and chilling out. The breakfast is generous and varied. All in all a perfect night's stay on our bikepacking trip of the Pelopponese!

The hotel stunk of cigarettes to the extent that the towels and bed linen smelt.

I stayed 2 nights in January 2025. Everyone was very kind. The room was clean. The shower water hot. The heater was working. There was a towel hangins device in the balcony. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. The wifi worked well. From that hotel we were able to visit a lot of nice sites: Methoni, Pylos, Nestor's palace, natural wonders, Archeo Olimpus... Recommended.

I liked everything except that sometimes someone was smoking inside and the smell of cigarettes 🤢 makes me very nauseus. I suggest that they are more strict about not smoking inside. Other than that I liked everything else.

Good value for money. It did not over promise anything. But it did deliver exactly what we were expecting

This was a nice enough hotel but not ima great area. Streets were dirty with no room to walk and the beach wasn’t nice. Limited restaurant choices. Breakfast was good and parking was free just across the street from the hotel.
