Amicitia Hotel

De medewerkers zijn alle bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam maar het hotel zelf is een beetje vergaande glorie. De thema kamers vielen wel wat tegen en het ontbijt was ook niet geweldig te noemen. Ik begrijp dat door de komst van een ander hotel deze wat weg is gezakt in kwaliteit

Een prima hotel, zowel met als zonder kinderen. Behalve dat al het personeel zeer vriendelijk is; hebben ze ook een grote speelkamer of speelzaal op de begane grond. Het ontbijt is goed. Het is een hotel waar ik graag kom, zowel met mijn familie alsook alleen. De coronaperiode is gebruikt om alles een uitstraling als nieuw te geven. Het grote ligbad op pootjes is geweldig.

Leuke sfeervolle inrichting. Goed restaurant. Voldoende parkeerruimte, helaas geen laadpalen bij het hotel.

Bovenaan staat de bediening van de 2 jongedames Sara en Katrien van het Restaurant: ze zijn zeer betrokken bij hun gasten. Toppers! Het ontbijt is ook prima. De dames en heer van de Receptie alle lof voor hun klantvriendelijkheid. Goede ligging van het hotel naar Sneek of de regio. Een aanrader!

A very outdated and run down hotel. Located in an semi-industrial zone. Rooms and bathroom spacious but as much of a 4 star level, honestly. Bar without atmosphere, and restaurant offered the worst breakfast seen in many years, which is true for the coffee as well.

themakamers zijn wel grappig. Wij lagen op de "koningskamer". Goede bedden. Wel wat ver vanuit het centrum, maar we waren op de fiets.

Prima accommodatie. Ik kwam pas 21:15uur aan: "we hadden u nog verwacht". Uitgebreid ontbijt. De kamer was nogal warm: geen airco. Een heerlijk bad genomen.

Dated decor but when only needing a room for the night, not a great problem. Check in easy, had a theme room (asian room) which was nicely decorated, clean and functional. Breakfast choice good but no-one around to even check we had paid! 20-30 minute easy walk to the old city

Hotel was ok for 1 night, because of the hot weather the rooms were far from comfortable due to the lack of AC in the room. Beds were also not that comfortable. Very nice staff and rooms and bathroom were clean.

Grosse Zimmer und ein sehr grosses Bad. Es war alles sehr sauber.

Het hotel was ok, kleine lift. Vanwege Corona, kregen we de dagbap: koude rijst, koude geblancheerde bloemkool, een soort stoverij, voor teveel geld. Ook het ontbijt kostte teveel, voor wat het was.

Een fijne speelkamer voor de kinderen, met klimtoestel, ballenbak en interactieve spelletjes. Veilig en schoon.

Se há coisas na vida em nos arrependemos, uma dessas foi nos hospedarmos em um lugar onde um dos funcionários é LADRÃO. Quando do Check out esquecemos no quarto um IPad mini (rastreável) que caiu entre a cama e a parede e uma pochete com pouco mais de 5.000 Euros, que foi colocada na gaveta do criado mudo. Pouco menos de 01 hora depois notamos a falta ao abastecer o carro, voltamos a recepção do hotel e prontamente nos entregaram o IPad, como disse rastreável, e ao questionar sobre o dinheiro nos disseram que nada mais foi achado. Fui até o quarto e nada encontrei na gaveta. Deixei número do celular e e-mail para contato e pela internet um amigo ajudou-me a registrar Boletim de Ocorrência na Policia. Até agora nenhum contato do gerente do hotel ou da policia...

Dette var dårlig og simple greier for å være 4 stjernes Hotel. Ikke var det kjøleskap eller mulig å lage seg te eller kaffe på rommet. Elendig renhold og frokost. Dette er etter min meningen toppen 2 stjernes Hotel. Det var langt fra sentrum. Det var langt over det som er oppgitt på informasjon om avstand fra Sentrum. Sneek er uansett et lite koselig plass i Nederland.

We were in Sneek because Bolsward where we wanted to go was full. It is a little out of the way as it is some 30 minutes walk from the train and bus station so a taxi will be in order if you have luggage. It is quirky. It has theme rooms. We had 1001 Arabian nights so the room was a four poster with canopy , stars painted on the ceiling and a desert scene on the walls. Great fun! Other rooms include an Asian theme, a Hinderlopen room and a 60s room which we did not see. A nice change from all the bland hotel rooms elsewhere. They also have dining facilities. In the restaurant where you also have your breakfast there is a "all you can eat" buffet from Thursday to Sunday (I think?) at 24 Euros a head. Not cheap but the food is excellent. Breakfast is good but you do have to cook your own eggs and bacon on a hotplate. Again a little unusual but quite fun. The reception manager was very helpful and went out of his way to provide help.

Rooms are outdated, but they were clean. Staff was not very friendly in a booking mistake, although they were in their right. Location is far from ideal. Price / quality out of line. Would not recommend for this price

Comfortable hotel at 20 minutes walk from sneek city center, which is quite cosy

Vriendelijke ontvangst en duidelijke uitleg over de mogelijkheden van het verblijf in Sneek en de omgeving. De faciliteiten zijn goed, vriendelijk personeel, dagelijks schoonmaken van de kamer en vernieuwen handdoeken. Het ontbijt en het avondbuffet is keurig verzorgd. Kortom een prima verblijf voor een fijne vakantie.

Het personeel was heel erg aardig. De kamer was netjes. De lokatie is gunstig zo dicht bij de snelweg. De stopcontacten zitten niet heel logisch en het licht in de badkamer is niet geweldig om je make up bij te doen. Het algehele beeld is heel positief.

Uniek is de plek, dat je alle kanten op kan. Fietsenstalling voor elektrische fietsen uitstekend geregeld. Minder goed was het verkeerslawaai bij een raam open.

Just spent a couple of days here. Hotel is good, rooms are large, bath is excellent, staff are great. Breakfast was ok but nothing special, evening meal was Buffet, chef specials were available but you have to ask, no menus as such so we dined in the centre. Taxi to centre costs 10 euro each way. Plenty of parking, which was good as we were in a large van and trailer. Seemed under used, very few people about, not sure why. Would stay again.

The hotel is OK, but I had ordered through hotels.com, and asked for a design (theme) room, with a double-bed. The room was neither design, nor with a double bed (but a comfort twin). I would've liked to mention it at check-out when the person at reception asked how my stay was, but they never did.. Breakfast was pretty poor.

Rustig hotel. Comfort kamer prima, ruim en schoon. Ontbijt matig en niet aantrekkelijk qua presentatie. Terras en was niet uitnodigend en kon wel een schoonmaak gebruiken. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We've just come back from a holiday in Freisland, Holland. We joined a group with Carolus and our base was Amicitia Hotel in Sneek. We were really satisfied with what the Hotel has to offer. The room was spotlessly clean, with towels changed every single day. Spacious rooms and big bathrooms, including a lot of space in the wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities, and ,very unusual, an iron and ironing board too. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, dinner including a variety of hot and cold dishes with show cooking too. The Hotel is within walking distance from the centre and boasts of a helpful, polite personnel. The only mishap was, to nobody's fault, a heat wave which is all over Europe practically. However, the Hotel provided fans in the room. I would suggest this Hotel to anybody.

Het was een super verblijf. Waren paar kleine puntjes maar dit heb ik de volgende dag meteen aangegeven. Aanrader is wel dat ze de buitenverlichting aanzetten anders is het een zoekplaatje om t hotel te vinden als het donker is en ook de parkeerplaats. Ontbijt in de ochtend was helemaal super en goed verzorgd.

God parkering Reception kunne ikke finde booking. :-( Lang tid om indtjekning - jeg måtte dokumenterer via bekræftelsesmail. Fint værelse, fint hotel. Nogenlunde renlighed. Usandsynlig dårlig morgenmad (god kaffe) Sur og dårlig betjening under morgenmad. Ved udtjekning var booking stadig ikke fundet, brugte lang tid på udredning via bekræftelsesmail mm - IGEN. Alt i alt ikke et sted jeg vil spilde min tid igen.

Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind durchschnitt. Als Doppelbett zwei einzelbetten zusammen geschoben. Kein Minibar in Zimmer.

I spent 2 nights in this nice hotel in Sneek, Holland. The rooms are confortable, big and the bed is adequate. I had problems with the wifi: the signal was very poor. Also I had problems with flies in the room. I asked the immediate action and the problem was solved. Service, basic. The food ok. Nothing splendid but ok.

Review: With complete & spacy-enough rooms as well as a comfortable bathroom and beds this hotel is a very good business-stay according to me. Breakfast is ok but not the strongest point. Other hotel-accomodation shouln't be the trigger for your stay. Good value for money rooms on easy-acces location, free parking and friendly staff are my reason to stay the night. Negatives: hotel could use a 'fresh-up' (using somevivid colours for example). Lose the fitness-equiment on every floor (not used and oldfashioned), breakfast could be presented better as well the (product-)qualit of it could be improved with little effort. Positives: very nice, spacy, fully-equiped rooms with comfortable bathrooms. Rooms are NOT very noisy (and that's strangly unfortunately being a rare asset, but is this case it a present one) Variables: all my stays were business-stays of one to a few nights, all including breakfast. Some ont 1th some on 2th floor, all backside-parking sides.

Friends of ours checked this place out before we stayed here. We found the hotel quite charming and the accomodations very clean and reasonable. The breakfast is top notch and the best we experienced in the Netherlands. The people at the front desk were friendly and fawned over the kids. Great family hotel. Free parking right at the hotel.

Well situated and clean hotel. Rooms are big and so the beds. The hotel is easy finding and have a large parking area, and it is for free. The restaurant at the hotel called "sowieso" is as it it " so wie so", which means no bad-no good. You will not starve, but dont expect "cuisine".

A good clean hotel with fine polite personnel. Easy access to highways to go around Friesland region (maybe they should add a "AMICITIA" to their light "HOTEL" so you cannot go around missing go there the first time). Not too far from the center of Sneek (1,5 km by feet), so with good weather there is no problem walking there. Their buffet breakfast is really good as in quality as in quantity (kudos to all). We tasted the restaurant too. This is a buffet restaurant where you can have your steak, for instance, cooked for you at the moment (but there are other dishes prepared the same way for you at the moment). Do not be fooled by the name "buffet" , because you can find really a lot of things, continuously added by the active personnel. Maybe the only problem is in you, because it should happen you want to taste everything. If I should mark a critical point, I would say that missing air conditioning in the rooms is a pity for an otherwise great hotel. But this will not prevent me to stay there if I will be back in Sneek.

Amicitia (Friesland) Hostel is a very really cool place to stay in Amsterdam. It’s pretty cool, this hostel is literally an old converted boat! Super cool! You can hear the sound of the waves on the boat, its nice to fall asleep to. The location is god, it’s an easy walk to the main train station, city centre, Nemo Museum and other attractions. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected as you are on a boat. Free breakfast is delicious and the staff are really friendly. There is even a bar on the boat! We stayed two days in this hotel. Location is at industry premises, but despite this, we loved to stay there. Very warm welcome, nice clean room, comfortable bathroom and quite! As we do not like "wokking" so much we did not have dinner but went to Sneek. Sneek offers a wide variety of restaurants, so no problem. Breakfast was included and is quite sufficient. Reception offers tips for trips and a even a bike can be rented. Good service!

We were supposed to celebrate my parents 40'th anniversary and decided to stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfi in comparison to most other hotels, but if the hotel is worth 4 stars? No, not at all. This hotel is just a 3 star European/Boutique alike hotel or a 3 star luxarious motel as we know across United States. The beds are awful, the rooms too warm and it is located in the outscirts of the city away from any cafe/restaurant or shopping districts. You need to walk for about 10 minutes to get to the small city center with shops and cafes or to the harbour. Parking lot is free which is good, there is a buffet but the quality of the food wasn't that good and I won't advise this hotel to those who might think are going to stay in a luxarious 4 star rated hotel, but more to the common travellers amongst us who just need a night stay and not more and surely not to those who seek for romance or fancy dinner out. The hotel is further more a good choice as long as you need clean, spacious rooms, with spacious bathrooms, friendly staff and a free parking lot. good value for the money? yes and no. But as there isn't much choice in and around Sneek, the Netherlands, so this is the only and best place you can indeed stay.

Friendly welcome and a pleasant clean room with good bathroom and comfortable beds so initially pleased BUT the food was dreadful. The only thing available cooked fresh was a small steak grilled on a blakened griddle or some fried shell-fish. Absolutely everything else offered on the dining buffet was pre-prepared and pre-packed. Breakfast breads were stale and the selection of cold meats and cheeses was cheap and nasty. MUCH WORSE: after 2 nights here my husband was taken ill. In hospital a day later he was diagnosed with Legionnaires disease. Suspect this place has a problem with the air conditioning as well as the food!

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel on saturday. The room was quiet, spacious and tastfully decorated with comfortable beds. From the outside the hotel looks somewhat extraordinary because in the past it was a school. Inside it is 100% a hotel with a lot of wooden panelling and new made classic ceilings.
