Great place to stay. Excellent friendly staff including Teddy the dog :) Good value and even though its set up like a motel it felt very homey and comfortable. . Highly recommend.

A nice conversion of a motel to an Inn with in room amenities like a higher end Inn like comfy robes, nice toiletries. The laundry facilities were a great option and they were clean. Remember to bring loonies. The breakfast was great.

Very nice property comfortable and clean, staff were very nice. It was a lot better than a lot of the hotels and inns that we have used on this trip.

We stayed here approximately 10 years ago and loved it.

We just stayed one night on our way home. The room is clean and quiet. It comes with everything we need including bathrobes, slippers and a mini kitchen with stove, microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast was homey and delicious. We will come back on our next visit.

Came across this charming little inn while finding accommodations on my mother daughter road trip. This inn was by far my favourite place to stay on our trip. The surrounding area was so picturesque and the perfect backdrop for the inn. The front office that also held the dining area was all set to perfections. Our check in package was available at the front desk with our name, key and instructions at the ready. Fastest check in ever! Not a detail was overlooked in the room. Such thoughtfulness was given to ensure every need was met.. even slippers and a robe to use. The morning breakfast was delicious and was a nice time to chat with the owner and other visitors. I will definitely be telling my friends about the Antigonish Evergreen Inn and will come back for a return visit.

We were so happy, our room felt like home! Very nicely decorated and breakfast in the morning was excellent so good we never had breakfast anywhere else. We would highly recommend this place.

Everything was great about this place, except for the room we chose. It was listed as a two bedroom apartment, but did not say it was a basement in the house next to the motel. It was clean and had everything you would need but it just had three small basement windows. We like natural light and would not have picked this room had we known. I think the main motel would have been a different experience. Everything else about this place is great! Just list this room as a "basement" apartment .

Gorgeous room, comfy bed, and great breakfast- what more could you ask for?

Music playing in the background as soon as we walked in made the room tranquil and inviting. Having a luxurious feeling in the bathroom and overall room allowed us to feel at home away from home. Love staying here. Always clean and everyone is helpful. The room had a rocking chair with a throw on it. That created a very at home atmosphere. Never have stayed anywhere else as clean and so well kept.

Nice location, friendly staff

My family and I had an enjoyable stay. The room was super comfortable and relaxing. They provided slippers and robes! A simple touch that I have not seen in a while. There were chocolates on our arrival too! The room had these positive vibes with pleasant photos and inspirational sayings on the walls. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. The whole stay was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again. Did not see any staff, but they were accessible through text or to call if needed as per the infomation provided on check in.

Nice staff and great room.

Been here several times before. Very comfortable, large room with a large bathroom and a view out to garden and hills beyond. Comes with kitchenette. Breakfast is included and is excellent with homemade oatmeal and toppings, blueberry scones/tea biscuits, muffins, bagels, yogurts and very good coffee. Chairs and table in room as well as television. Definitely recommended and best to book in advance as it’s very popular.

Convenient, clean, friendly. Little touches…a robe, real plants in the rooms, a shoe horn. Beautiful grounds. Seriously just pristine in every way.

Very cozy stay

Key was waiting for us as we were running a bit late. Building is in great shape and the grounds are spotless.

Quaint little place. Room was clean but laundry room needed a good cleaning. Was fine for one night. There is no view. Curtains at big windows barely cover and there are houses are nearby.

What a great place to stay! Would highly recommend. Comes with kitchenette and few items for cooking/eating without having to lug everything yourself! Things were clean and comfortable. Basketball net outside kept the kids entertained. Self check in was easy (once I knew that was the plan!) and all questions were quickly answered! Go by the phone number inside the reception area not the one on the door though!

Quiet motel property just outside of Antigonish. Cute, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Some with nice views of the green valley. Easy check in and hosts were friendly and helpful. Since we were there in the low season, breakfast is delivered in a basket to the room and includes scones, yogurt, juice and eggs if requested. Lovely stay and place recommended.

I was a bit confused when I arrived since there was no one in the lobby and I had no phone to call them with. After a few seconds, I did discover that our keys were in a plastic folder with our name on it that was off to the side. After that, everything was really nice. Great apartment with all amenities.

This is the loveliest place to stay. The room was spotless and so sweet and homey. Everything you could imagine was already thought of and provided. The grounds are pretty and immaculate. The breakfast provided had many options. I had the homemade porridge. It was served hot with many toppings choices offered, It was just like being hosted by your very good friend. It really is an exceptional accommodation. I wish we’re were staying longer.

Was a very cute and well-kept spot for our stay in Antigonish. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Super clean and great amenities.

This is such a nice place. The studio kitchette has everything and the abthrooms are like being at home. Wonderful owner and great breakfast. HIGHLY recommend.

We only stayed at the inn for one night! The owners were exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful! It is not located in a walkable area, but downtown is easily accessible by car.

Location was not within walking distance to shopping or dining. Otherwise, the stay was great.

Lovely little b & b motel. Room was spotless and beds comfy. Breakfast was delightful, and owners were so nice. I highly recommend!

It was not clear that this was in fact a basement apartment under someone’s home. We could hear footsteps and music coming from above. Obviously it was quite dark. It was quite large and the beds / linen were fine. There was a full kitchen but no products (not even paper towels) except for dish soap. The access to the laundry facility was supposed to be easy (using the room key) but it didn’t work. To be fair, I didn’t follow up with anyone on this issue. The rest of the property was pretty.

We spend one night in unit 10 with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. This basement apartment was very large and very clean. The next morning we got up for the complimentary breakfast and we found the freshly baked scones and oatmeal with a large variety of fresh toppings was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and we enjoyed our one night stay. Highly recommend stay over at reasonable price.

It's a very quiet place. The room was spotless. The breakfast was wonderful. There was every possible condiment, and then some, you could think of to put on the freshly made porridge. And the host, who was an extremely pleasant person, made me a poached egg to go with my porridge. Fresh blueberry scone was delicious. Normally we don't care about a TV at a hotel stay, but that night we got back early and did want to watch the US tennis Open. The TV is quite small. About the size of a large computer monitor. But, that wouldn't stop me from returning. The price was very reasonable, too.

This was a super clean Inn. The proprietor was friendly and helpful with travel suggestions. She did not miss a single detail in the room. The homemade breakfast was hot and delicious!!

This is a small INN with 8 rooms. We rented two rooms, and both were clean and neat. While the room is a bit tight for my liking, the bathroom is bigger than expected and has all we need in it. We would stay here again. We felt the hosts were very honest and easy to deal with.

Such a great find! Felt like home. Rooms, reception area, breakfast everything was meticulous, clean and delicious. Family run business that shows they care.

I have grandchildren who live close by, and stopping here is proving to be a terrific idea. I have slept well, and now I am ready to greet them for breakfast. This has been a very pleasant experience so far!

Loved our stay. The best organized and best maintained place we stayed. Liked the guest laundry and self parking right outside our door. Would definately stay here again.

This is an excellent motel-style property. Terrific breakfast, perfect reception, wry comfortable room.

Clean, comfortable motor inn located just a few minutes outside of “downtown Antigonish” Little touches like a welcome note with a small surprise inside and chocolates on the pillow made me smile as I entered the room. The staff is pleasant and the breakfast was simple but we did enjoy the freshly made scones

Apartment was clean and had lots of amenities, but was EXTREMELY (and uncomfortably) cold. Was also kept up at night by either a pet scampering across the floor in the tenants place above us or mice scratching in the ceiling/walls.

The room was very clean and they cheerfully accommodated our requests even adding an extra bed for us. Morning breakfast was delicious and we met people from all over the world. All in all, a lovely experience. Highly recommend.

We arrived late and had to leave early, but we really wish we had more time in Antigonish and at the Evergreen! Arriving at the room felt like such a warm welcome after a long driving day. We felt more comfortable and at home than we have since we started our road trip - like visiting a family member rather than a hotel/motel. No detail was spared and everything was spotlessly clean. If you'll be in or around Antigonish, we can't recommend this stay highly enough!

Above and beyond as far as providing anything a guest might need or want, this felt as if we were staying in a friend's home. Tasty breakfast to meet everyone's preferences.

So comfortable and relaxing

Cute, comfy, spacious, nice large window, lovely decor and easy to find being slightly out of town. Great place to stay with a few nice extra touches (wall pumps with nice shampoo AND even conditioner!!) The breakfast basket with yummy scones was fine for our schedule- their on site breakfast room was not yet open. Highly recommended.

The place was extremely clean and had huge bathroom compared to most places

The Antigonish Evergreen Inn was extremely clean and well cared for. Bath robes and slippers were provided. We had a small kitchen as well as a laundry mat that we took advantage of. The Inn is conveniently located close to downtown Antigonish and St Francis- Xavier University. The host was friendly, helpful and gave us good recommendations for dinner dining. We would stay again without hesitation.

Comfortable well kept motel in the countryside. Breakfast was enjoyable- oatmeal with more than a dozen toppings along with scones and jam. Some fresh fruit would have made it complete. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a nice stay and appreciate the extra touches here like the robes and slippers. Breakfast is a small basket of yogurt, box of juice, and a couple of small baked items. I’m not sure that qualifies as “breakfast is included”. Good location when visiting the university.
