Only one bathroom for many male rooms on Floor 1. Kitchen being located all the way in the ground floor and having to go out and back to get there. It is also a bit small and can get congested if 3 people are using it.

You could sit outside on the veranda overlooking the river to have breakfast. It was beautiful. And to top it all Guilliam the host was such a lovely man. Made you feel welcome and answered any questions. The location is superb by the river. Will definitely be back x

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Super friendly stuff that makes you feel welcomed. Nice athmosphere and friendly people. There was a bkie parking space in the back behind a loxked door which made me worry free. They also allowed me to keep the bike there for a few hours after check out. The bathrooms were clean.
My room was full of moschitos even if the mesh was on the window. Also the ceeling is a bit dirty and old, which was uncomfortable to see from the bunk bed

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Bien placé pour visiter Namur. J'ai trouvé facilement de la place pour ma voiture près de l'auberge. Il y a une buvette sympa à quelques pas au bord de l'eau avec une ambiance sympa le weekend. J'ai loué pour 3 personnes dans une chambre avec 2 lits superposés. La chambre avait une lavabo et 1 douche . Petit déjeuner sympa avec des fruits de saison et des produits bio.
L'oreiller était trop dur pour moi. Il fallait mettre les draps. Les toilettes sont partagées mais dans les auberges de jeunesse c'est comme ça.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026A youth hostel with character, set in a wonderful old building in an upmarket area on the riverbanks of the Meuse. All you need is there. The dorms are large. They have a well-equipped guest kitchen. There is ample parking in the street and in the courtyard. The breakfast buffet is outstanding!
The city center is about 2kms away, although it is a wonderful walk along the riverside.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026L’emplacement, le calme et surtout l’accueil Nous avons passé une nuit en famille dans une chambre, quadruple deux adultes et deux adolescents. tout était propre, l’auberge est très bien entretenu un petit déjeuner simple et efficace ( du sucré du salé, etc…) pour conclure, je recommande cette auberge de jeunesse.

Perfect temperature in the rooms, we just had our window open a little bit, didn’t need air condition because it’s not that hot in Belgium.
Nothing. All accomodation in Belgium is generally expensive for backpackers.

Problème indépendant de votre volonté, mais le réveil vers 6h du matin par l'alarme incendie a été un peu dur.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Arrivée et départ flexible, bon emplacement de l'auberge proche de Namur en transport ou à pieds, état des équipements de la chambre correct, linge de lit propre, petits déjeuners copieux et diversifié.
L'eau de la douche de chambre était brulante et il était impossible de la régler. J'ai dû plusieurs fois me rendre à la douche situé dans le bâtiment de l'accueil au 1er étage. Ce problème a été remonté plusieurs fois, notamment par l'un des logeurs présent dans la chambre sans en voir une résolution pendant mon séjour. C'est dommage car cela a un peu terni mon expérience alors que je trouve que le rapport qualité/prix du séjour est imbattable.
