Merrickville Guest Suites

The site was advertised as a Bed and Breakfast THERE IS NO BREAKFAST. How can they advertise as such when it is false The stairs are a challenge but doable Great location The suite was very spacious and comfortable and clean

We loved the quaint area, unique nearby shopping. The bed was on the hard side, but still had a decent sleep. The suite faced the back of the building and therefore was very quiet.

Great place if you like the smell of strong disinfectant. Thin walls allow you to listen to TV in adjacent rooms. Room 1 is the front of building and subject to road noise, although I'm sure the 7am start time construction won't continue forever.

As a returning guest, the Merrickville Suites. The bathroom is bright and has plenty of counter space.

Nice location, comfortable home away from home. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Right in a central location.

I loved the quiet and the bed was very comfortable

Great spot

Easy access, lovely unit. Was comfortable even on a hot weekend, stayed cool with a ceiling fan, electric fan and window unit. Bed and Sofabed mattresses were excellent. As advertised! Would stay here again!

Very clean, new, excellent linens and towels, great shower and bathroom.

Nothing

Excellent location. Very clean but tired bedding and over grown back entrance. Tv instructions did not match controls so became confusing and unusable. Snack consisted of 2 granola bars for two days. No refresh of towels.

The best place to stay in Merrickville.

Our stay was perfect...we would not change a thing. Great location, quiet and comfy bed.

Location clean

My visit was incredible. The whole place was clean and comfortable. The feel of the room was so good. I love antique anything and this was a beautiful mix of retro-meets-modern cool. Perfection. And the bed! Oh man, the bed was so comfortable, my snooze alarm was well used the morning of my checkout. Having a full kitchen complete with dishes, cutlery, and appliances was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend. Worth the money. And I don't say that unless it's absolutely true. Thanks for everything! Will visit again!

Clean comfortable and perfect location

Nothing

Location was perfect, within walking distance to everything. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Our room was clean and spacious and in a great location. Would highly recommend it.

The location was close to the Main Street and the suite was perfect!!

The bed, it was extremely uncomfortable.

It's a great location and very well maintained.

location excellent and great parking

We loved our little nest and it was so close to shops and restaurants. Our suite was clean and well appointed. We would like to suggest that it might be time for a new mattress as it sagged quite a bit in the middle. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Service details to attention, clean, and lovely atmosphere.

Great location, wonderful property!

It’s a nice suite that’s well stocked with what you need to be comfortable. It’s a quiet area with plenty to do. We loved walking through the area and exploring. My only observation is that the Sunrise Suite is very aptly named as it is bright even with the curtains. There’s a skylight over the pullout bed that doesn’t close. If you like lots of sunshine, you will love it! Finally, the owner is thoughtful, flexible, and helpful.

Great location, clean. Places a few snacks and drinks for use, which was a nice touch. Easy check-in and out. Gift certificate to leather store was also a nice touch that we did use.

Would have liked deadbolts on doors. Had a bit of an odor of mold that bothered my allergies.

We had a lovely stay at the Merrickville Guest Suites. The place is perfectly located in the heart of the village. The beds were very comfortable and the little kitchenette was very convenient. We would definitely book again!

The location is super as it is on the main street. The suite is quiet and well appointed.

The weather stripping on the door to the outside needs replacing.

stairs----treads not deep enough and could not get enough heat out of that one unit.

John and Carolyn excellent hosts..went above and beyond to ensure our stay was awesome. There was planned power outage by hydro and they ensured we still had tasty breakfast and coffee by cooking in their wood fired oven. Thank you.

Good communication. Contact prior to the stay twice and instructions by email and through Booking.com Once there, there were detailed written instructions on the use of tv. Even a coupon for a shop.

To be honest, nothing.

Charming loft unit. Convenient walking distance to historic downtown Merrickville

Clean. Kitchen

Lack black out curtains Sheets

I like the air conditioner in the suite. It is modern and quite.

It was a great mother daughter weekend escape

I always stay here when I travel to the area for business.

Bed was a bit hard and the coffee was horrid.

It was incredibly comfortable, a tad on the pricey side for non peak time but most enjoyable. The village is always enjoyable, the merchants are friendly and the views spectacular.

Location. Modern bathroom. Cute kitchen set-up and supplies.

Microwave

The suite was spacious and clean. We loved that it was right in downtown Merrickville where all the little shops are located. We will definitively be booking here again!

beautifully decorated, location, ease of booking

the mattress was terrible, I think it was old because it dipped in the center making it hard to sleep.

Prime location, walking distance to all main attractions. Exceptional room and amenities: clean, spacious. Great host: very helpful, easy to reach via text, quick to respond

Rooms are all up à flight of stairs. We were travelling with a baby so we had a lot of extra stuff and had to leave the stroller in the car and lug the car seat up the stairs.

no breakfast but a bowl of snacks was on the table, and cream in the fridge with sparkling water and the $15 gift certificate for the Leather shop was a bonus!

the hot water did not last long I took a shower early, and my people had theirs a couple hours later, one was hot but other was cold!

clean and neat. Next to shops. The owner is very friendly and welcoming

The stairs

Right downtown - comfortable and handy.

We liked everything about it.

Fast and efficient check in, close to restaurants and shops, easy parking, amenities and friendliness.

Great location. It is central to everything in this cute little town. The accommodations had everything you could possibly need with thoughtful little extras (ie. snacks, Nespresso machine, toaster oven, shampoo, lotion). Beds were comfortable and shower was great!

Everything was great!

Nice place in the downtown. Nice pub nearby.

No breakfast, however coffee and cream and sugar in the room. Breakfast close by. Would definitely return. Great shower. Nice towels.

Was very satisfied with everything! Nice to have off street parking available. There are no negatives to report.

Location was perfect for us. It was central to the activities we doing for the week. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We stayed in the Studio Suite. It's very clean and comfortable, bright and cheery by day, cozy at night. Its quiet location is great for sleeping and near the shops and restaurants. The porch is surrounded by trees, perfect for enjoying the summer evenings. Michael is a gracious and helpful host.

Near the Rideau canal

Very comfortable stay, very clean and has everything you would need!

Comfortable home and nicely maintained. Michael was an attentive host and clearly takes pride in his rental. Recommended if ou are in the area.

Excellent location close to shopping and restaurants. Clean and spacious. Great communciation from owner. Key pad entry. Would recommend 👌

Very comfortable suite with everything we needed. Lots of space and clean. A little noise from the main street in the morning, as would be expected, but not enough to disturb sleep.

Spent the night there on a paddle tour of the Rideau Canal. Great location and super easy check-in. Even had a spot to park our canoes. Very nice place. Would definitely come back

The place was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious suite located in the heart of this small town. Check in process was seamless all done via email. Safe and convenient parking spot is included. Lots of nice touches by the owner including complimentary teas and healthy snacks. Would definitely stay at the Merrickville Guest Suites again.

The perfect location for anyone wanting to be in the centre of village life. Tons of wonderful shopping right out the front door. Busy during the day but like many small villages, very quiet in the evening. Private parking. Very accommodating host. Beautiful suite with fully-equipped kitchenette.

Would highly recommend. Right on the Main Street. Very quiet at night though... as far as sleeping. Nicely furnished suite with lots of TLC extras!

Room was great. Stairs were dingy. A light by the door would have helped find the place.

Great place with wonderful people. Old village and beautiful area

It was cute clean and cozy. Close to all the shopping.

Easy and clean

it was very centrally located - you could walk everywhere. The owner met us at the door and helped us carry our bags in. it was a beautiful loft room - spotless - had everything we needed - a perfect getaway. Thank you!

The suite is very comfy, clean and modern. Although there was a bit of confusion with the booking price, that eventually got cleared up and we had a great one-night stay with our two young kids.

Very good attention to detail for a small town stay. Loved the keypad entry was so easy and convenient. Great location in the heart of this quaint town. 5 stars from me. Bravo

The room was well-equipped, clean and comfortable.

It was perfect. Quiet. Everything you need plus very thoughtful added touches.

People who owned it were very nice and helful.Room was clean and fully equpped.

My son and I stayed her for a baseball tournament and it was perfect. 700m walk to the diamond and the room was clean and comfortable. Complementary healthy snacks were left out for us to enjoy and When we did prepaid food in the room the kitchen was fully stocked with dish cleaning and cooking supplies.

I really enjoyed my stay. The accomodations were lovely and accomodating. I will be back to stay again. Merrickville is so quaint and full of charm. Only wish was that I could stay longer.

Very nice property and excellent hosts! We would definitely stay here again and look forward to trying the other suites.

Check-in and check-out, super easy! Great flat, nicely appointed and right in the heart of Merrickville. We will definitely stay here, again.

Located right downtown with easy access to shops and restaurants. Only thing to consider is accessibility, it is a full flight of stairs up and no visible alternative way to reach the room. I would definitely recommend this room for its brightness, facilities and comfort.

Great little spot! Travelled for work. The spa is great and reasonable prices. Tried both pubs in town - good food. The room was clean and bed was comfy.

Great location in the middle of town and walking distance to the river and locks. Did not like dragging a suitcase up narrow stairs

This property was large, had a small kitchenette, and a lounging area. It clean, warm and very inviting. It 's very private and quiet. A very nice place for a quiet getaway to get well deserved R&R.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of town. Close to all the sites

Excellent suite located on the best street. Loved walking about town and over to the locks. Suite is so tastefully decorated and every amenity is available. We will certainly plan to return.

The Sunset Suite was lovely, clean, well stocked and perfectly located to enjoy the town of Merrickville. We enjoyed our stay very much and would go back for sure.
