Reviewed Dec 10, 2024Very friendly and helpful staff. They were helpful in allowing me to move rooms when I was put onto Night Shift. Restaurant was really good, great choices and everything tasted so nice. Kevin, one of the waiters was awesome. He spoke really good English which was a great bonus for me (no Spanish) and was able to make recommendations and explain things to me 👍🏻

Lo unico malo es que vas ahí por negocios y el checkin a las 3 PM es inadecuado ya que se te va parte del dia. Me cobraron 900 pesos por entrar a las 10 AM, se me hace muy ventajoso ya que se aprovechan de la necesidad de tiempo.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2024Hard to get to our room because of the reservation on Expedia. Even if it is wtitten that we had access to the laundry, it was not possible to use it. The air conditionning in the room did not work well. The pool need to be restored. It is a really basic hotel.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2023I just want to say the only reason I choose to stay at this hotel is because of the amazing customer service. The ladies at the front desk have went above and beyond to help this American with his poor, Spanish speaking skills. I’m forever grateful for them. Also, the waiters/waitresses are very friendly. Pool/restaurant is nice and housekeeping does a a great job. Thank you Hampton Inn!!

Reviewed May 30, 2022Dicen que tienen camas queen y matrimoniales y sale que solo tienen matrimoniales en todo el hotel. Nosotros pagamos por una habitación con cama queen, que es más cara, y cuando llegamos a l habitación lo que había era una cama matrimonial, bajamos para que nos cambien la habitación y nos dijeron que no había queen, no enseñaron otras habitaciones y efectivamente no existen las camas queen en ese hotel, pero si te la ofrecen. Engañan a la gente Por otro lado la comida es un asco. Todo es de bote, jugos de puro jarabe hasta un caldo tlalpeño parece que solo le habían vaciando la lata de chiles. Se pidió algo para tomar no tenían, se pidió postre no tenían. Toda la comida una imitación de comida mexicana, todos los alimentos de la peor calidad. El agua del grifo de la habitación salía como amarilla, no transparente. Las vistas de lo peor, viendo hacia un montón de tubos por la refinería. En ese pueblo se están terminando los árboles por tanta tala. Nadie te ayuda a su ir tus maletas. Para no regresar nunca a ese hotel. Un engaño total, te cobran más por lo mismo. Y luego te quieren convencer de que la cama es más grande cuando uno está viendo que es del mismo tamaño. Te quieren quieren ver la cara de tonto.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2021I was staying there and suddenly the water came black ! And told the staff my problem and they not even said sorry or changed me the room as a first response. They just told me they had report the problem. It is unacceptable to be in an hotel where the water you brush your teeth with they can’t have control of it.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2020Muy bien el hotel, aunque abandonada la parte de la alberca, ya que tenía camastros y sombrillas rotas, el agua helada a pesar que hacía mucho calor pero no se disfruta la alberca de lo fría que está. La carretera para llegar al hotel está horrible, así que no vale la pena el viaje tan largo, aunque el hotel esté muy bien, conviene quedarse en una zona más céntrica. La comida extremadamente rica y su personal muy amable.

Reviewed May 22, 2019The hotel itself is pretty far away from Paraiso and Puerto Ceiba but still close enough to be there in a couple of minutes. It has a security controlled entrance and the accomodations are cozy and furniture comfortable. There is alot of space to go running in the morning on their grounds and there are extra services available such as rental of boats and barbeque pit.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2019Pedimos una cerveza al Mesero en el área de alberca y tardo demasiado hasta que lo fuimos a buscar y dijo que se le había olvidado, otra los baños del área de la alberca no le sirven las puertas, si uno tiene ganas de ir al baño, al estar sentado tiene que estar agarrando la puerta. De ahí en fuera todo excelente el trato la comida la bienvenida el registro etc...

Reviewed Jan 12, 2019If you are familiar with the brand, you will know what to expect. The facilities are all pretty standard, as is the breakfast. Overall, there seemed to be some maintenance issues, but nothing major. The fitness center was reasonably well equipped. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, so it's quiet, and there's a shuttle if you don't have a car, but we were glad we had a car. When we there it mostly seemed to be catering to engineers from the oil works. The onsite restaurant also serves dinner.
