The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is located within a short walking distance of many attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The lighting in the washroom was dark and unpredictable. Improving that would be a good idea.

The hotel is located very near Gaspé's Main Street, with some shops and restaurants. Our room in the recently refurbished wing had a nice view on the Birthplace of Canada. It was very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. All necessary amenities were available in the room (no safe deposit box though) or at the reception. We didn't use the pool, spa or gym but had dinner at the in house restaurant, which was a little slow and pricey, but OK. Very practical: the hotel has a washing machine and dryer at the disposal of the guests (works with coins) A very special mention to the fabulous staff at the reception desk!

Emplacement, accueil chaleureux, standing supérieur à la moyenne, grande chambre, calme, super restaurant.

Rien.

Hele mooie lokatie. Ruime kamer. Fijn restaurant. Zwembad met fantastisch uitzicht

Niets

Location, very clean, restaurant on premises, pool and hot tub with a view

Steps down to room

It’s was clean and easy access

●We were not informed of breakfast. ●We went to the bar for a cocktail. We walked in through the bar entrance, sat at a high table in the bar area and were told we couldn't sit there; we had to check in. Neither the bar or restaurant were full. We were then seated at the service end of the bar instead of the table that we sat at when we walked in. Not conducive for 4 people to talk and relax over a cocktail. Servers walked by us at least 3 times and not one of them asked for our order. We left. Horrible service. We had a cocktail and food at a restaurant in town that gave us great service. Their wait staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. We were super glad we had gone there first!

Breaskfast was good

Hotel très qualitatif

Rien a redire

Everything

Restaurant a little pricy for breakfast. Not included

Beds are very comfortable Everything was top notch!

RAS

Emplacement pratique et chambre confortable

The hotel was in a great location a couple of blocks from shops and restaurants. The room was modern and comfortable. My husband enjoyed the pool. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good.

Front desk was exceptional. What a beautiful smile!

Wonderful hotel in a great location central to the Gaspe Peninsula. Good breakfast and accommodating staff.

The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are modern, large, clean and quiet. The position of the hotel is strategic, close to the village center, near to restaurants, with a nice view, still remaining quiet.

all good

Beautifully situated. Decent restaurant with very reasonable breakfasts. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking.

Hotel Baker is a wonderful place to stay in Gaspe and has friendly staff and modern & clean rooms. The hotel restaurant is wonderful too. We recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

We liked everything.

Superb location. My kids loved jacuzzi. Everything that you would need for a comfortable stay is inside the room.

Maybe an extra chair would have been nice. But this is very minor issue.

Merci!

Propreté, bien situé, vue impressionnante!

Pool was great for the kids, restaurant was delicious, room was clean and comfortable, staff was nice and accommodating, the view was good, It was at a walking distance of coffee shops

No cart to transport our luggages to the room

Great Stay!!

Rules concerning the use of the pool. I think nobody but us was using it and somehow the manager was picky.

Great location and breakfast in dining room was wonderful

Floor of shower stall very slippery and could use grab bars for safety

Location was excellent. Pool was great and clean. Restaurant served excellent food. View was nice and staff was friendly.

Spa was not working, no jets. Dryer was not working properly.

The bed was comfortable and spacious room.

No free breakfast

Friendly staff, great location,

We stayed at the hotel from August 8-12, and unfortunately, an incident on August 11 significantly affected our experience. We went to enjoy the pool and sauna that afternoon. After spending some time in the pool, I noticed that my bathing suit had changed colour, and both of us experienced significant burning and irritation in our eyes. Once I got out of the pool, I was shocked to see that my navy blue bathing suit had become almost completely discoloured, turning a very light, skin-like colour.I also developed a rash and spots under my arm, and when I returned to my room, I noticed what appeared to be chemical burn marks on my skin. I took photographs of both my skin and the damaged bathing suit and immediately reported the situation to the front desk. The staff member contacted her manager, and the pool was subsequently closed. What was most disappointing, however, was the complete lack of follow-up. Despite reporting a situation involving skin irritation, apparent chemical burns, eye irritation, and significant damage to my bathing suit, no one contacted us afterward to check our well being.I understand that unexpected incidents can happen, and I appreciate that the pool was closed once the issue was brought to the hotel's attention. However, I would have expected some level of communication, concern, and follow-up from management-particularly when guests have experienced a potentially serious health and safety issue.Aside from the bathing suit, What concerns me most is that I experienced a physical reaction and apparent chemical burns, reported the incident immediately, and received no follow-up whatsoever. From a guest's perspective, that was extremely disappointing and made us feel that our well-being was not taken seriously.I would still appreciate a response from hotel management and an explanation of what happened with the pool, as well as some acknowledgement of the lack of follow-up.

Central location. Walking distance from everything you need. Nice pool and gym.

Couldn't get an early check-in. Hotel could use minor repairs.

Tout est exceptionnel

Rien

Nice view of Gaspe harbor.

Receptionist rather surly. Tried to go their restaurant Temu, but the music was so loud that we had to leave.

The location, the room was great. Nearby restaurant and festival

Checked in late because there was no electricity so we had to wait until it was fixed
