We always enjoy our stay at Urban sands, very relaxing place and friendly staff, been there several times

This Hotel is very Clean, and their staff is very friendly know how to handle their guest

The service is very good

Nice and quite retreat. Due to my late arrival I did not utilise the pool which did look inviting and appered to be well maintained.

Overall stay was very good. Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Always stay her when I stay in Iloilo , staff are very welcoming & helpful through your stay . Off the main Road but you wouldn’t think so as it calm n peaceful

Very friendly staff and a nice familiar atmosphere make you feel „at friends“. Everything is very clean, rooms are sufficient big, wifi is strong also in the rooms, great pool and whirlpool, menu with an acceptable range of dishes and food is prepared in good quality. Resort has only 12 rooms but is guarded 24 hours and makes you feel safe. Mall and other stores are in walking distance, but jeepney line passes the resort and taxis are easy to get. But the strongest asset is the staff, who works together as a team and who are committed to the guests, not only to the job.

We came back because it's such a nice oasis and the pool area is amazing... but the pool is cold at least this time of the year, and some fierce mosquitoes or god knows what are around, I got more than 20 bites there. Restaurant understandably has only a few dishes to choose from, ribs were very good, pork steak not my taste at all, should be at least adobo available. Breakfast was great.

What a great place. Feels like an island resort. So relaxing. Sparkling clean, bedding smells nice and fresh. Very friendly staff. Will be back soon!

Urban Sands is an oasis in the city. The staff gave an impeccable service specially their manager -Quincy. My husband & I will always go back to this place.

This is an amazing hotel - especially for the price. The setting is beautiful, the common spaces feel very familial, and the staff are extremely friendly. The only negative is that the internet speed was extremely slow. But if you love small, clean, personal hotels - this is the pick for you.

Loved that the room is poolside. The small friendly staff made it easy to become acquainted with them. Angeli, April, John and Quincy always met or needs quickly and with a smile.

The rooms are fairly basic, nice pool and garden area, very good staff and service. I will stay at this hotel again.

AWESOME SMALL HOTEL...OASIS IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN. COMFY ROOMS WITH GREAT CABLE. NICE POOL.OUTDOOR RESTAURANT IS THE BEST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A SMALL OR LARGE HOTEL. FOOD WAS AS GOOD AS A 5 STAR HOTEL. ILL NEVER FORGET THE RIBS :)

A memorable stay at a lovely hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. Breakfast was included and a varied menu. It was plentiful and very well prepared and cooked. The hotel has a restaurant/bar and the menu catered for both Filipino and International clients. Again, the food was very good and plenty of it. The staff make this hotel special. the hotel only has 12 rooms which makes it very friendly and personal. I cannot rate the manager and the staff more highly. First class service, first class attitude, first class smiles and first class attentiveness. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always had a greeting and smile for you. The 2 main staff that served at meal times were Angeli and April, but The manager Quincy and Den Den, John Rey, Nelson, Pamela, Richard, Aaron, Darin and the kitchen staff all need a special mention. The swimming pool and the surrounding area's were always clean. A lovely touch was also the free snacks in the afternoon at the bar area. If you are visiting Iloilo I highly recommend trying this lovely hotel. The only negative I can say is sometimes there is a little traffic noise from the highway but this is just a small observation. SM Mall, bars, clubs and eating places are just a short ride by jeepney or taxi.

I liked hotel. Service as great. My only issue was that choice of breakfast was limited. Fruit wasn't that good. For the price paid breakfast should be better.

Lovely Hotel in a quiet area but close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were adequate with table and chairs on the terrace outside your room. Pool area was really nice. Good bar and food being served. The staff were very courteous and treated each request efficiently and effectively. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quincy at the front desk was the most professional receptionist I have ever met in the hotel industry in the Philippines. Her knowledge and attention to detail and service was impressive. We checked in to our room which was cozy. I have never seen a hotel room with black/gray sheets, usually they are white but it was still comfortable. Bed was soft and so were the pillows. The linen spray/disinfectant spray was too strong on our room and our allergies were acting up and swollen and they immediately transferred us to the other room which was great. They also gave us welcome drinks and were very accommodating. Walking distance to bus terminal to other parts of Iloilo (Miagao, Oton, Guimbal, Etc). Walking distance to Molo Plaza, Church and Mansion and even Smallville. All less than 2km or 1mile.

Small entrance to this hotel but miss it at your peril , make your to the reception desk were you receive the best welcome ever. One you go through the glass doors thats when your hols begin . Rooms are built round a swimming pool ,water is blue & night they put the lights on. Rooms are comfortable & Breakfast are really nice

nice small boutique smack in the middle of a bustling city atmosphere yet once you entered the gate, you are transformed into somewhere out in a beach or a resort. Comfy, clean, pleasant invironment. Staff is exceptionally friendly and effecient. Free breakfast for 1 guest and swimming for 2 guests. Good deal for your money. A well kept gem in the heart of Iloilo City.

Staff was solicitous and quick to anticipate your needs. Very accommodating. Short cab ride to city center and places like Plazuela and the Esplanade are an easy walk. Go to Esplanade around 6am to enjoy a cool morning brisk walk or jog.

Enjoyed our stay, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Nice pool.

Ok overall . Nice setting with good staff and service most of the time . Cheapest room is ok but the tv is fixed to the wall and only just visible from the bed . Ants every day. No hot water for shower after noon . Only cold water plummed to sink . Most tv channels stopped working on the second day . A strange , bitter tasting black vegetable in the chop suey made me ill . Pool was nice but full of kids for a birthday party on the Saturday . Nice bed .... ok value I guess .

プールを囲んで部屋があり、夜はライトアップされリゾートに来たような雰囲気です。朝食は前日にメニューを選び部屋の前のテラスでとることができます。ただ、学校が目の前にあり、その日は夜遅くまで音楽が流れていて少しうるさかったのが残念ですが、それ以外はとてもよいホテルでした。

Kudos to the Urban Sands team -- for the outstanding hotel (from the rooms to the manicured grounds), clean pool, and most of all -- superb customer service from all the staff. Overall, great value for money. Keep it up!

Mosquitos in room and around pool. Shower splashes over bathroom as no partition. Room small. Poor reception on TV.

Staff were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable and its a very pleasant environment. Unfortunately the food was terrible and the surrounding roads full of jeepneys made it noisy and polluted.

Nice rooms nice pool a mini beach resort in the middle of town. Really enjoyed my stay. Restaurant and bar on property but we ventured out to one of the many great eateries in the area.

Very friendly could not help you enough. The pool was beautiful.

Staff were accomodating, always willing to offer their hand for help and offer it with a warm smile. Needs to improve on providing toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion and cotton buds. Restroom has a bidet. Pool is right i front if the rooms and has a jaccuzi.

The moment I arrived they greeted me as if they were expectingly waiting. That welcoming atmosphere was cool. The comfortable bed, large pillows, blankets plus excellent service was worth it.

I had a good time staying at this hotel. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Small rooms but it was very comfortable. Will defintely stay at this hotel again and will recommend this hotel. They served breakfast as well.

While the room was quite despite the traffic on both sides of the fence, it was a bit small for a couple. almost no space and bench to put down one's luggage. The staff were excellent in trying to attend to our needs - they were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable of the local restaurants, etc.. Breakfast choices were very good.

Amazing service, as usual. Forgot my phone charger, no problem. Forgot my slippers, no problem. Quincy's pleasant and vibrant personality is always a welcome part of the experience. Looking forward to my next stay with Urban Sands.

I don't normally sleep well in most hotels but Urban Sands is definitely not your usual hotel. A soft, comfortable bed, fluffy pillows and sheets that smell good instantly make me feel like I'm sleeping at home. Add to that the legendary Visayan hospitality, highlighted by Quincy's warm and caring presence, and you have yourself a truly exceptional experience. No wonder I slept like a baby!

Staff is wonderful. Internet connection is great. Food is tremendous. That sums it up.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everything we wanted and needed was met. The pool is very nice and usually you can find time where you're the only swimmer. The food and menu is very good...many options, portions are large. Very comfortable, simple place to spend a few days and nights. Very pleasant.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay inspite of deep well issues. Staff are apologetic and they handled it quite well. Housekeeping and room service are good and every morning, we have breakfast in our poolside terrace. Nice relaxing vacation :)

The staff at Urban Sands are the most attentive, caring, & personable we have ever encountered in all our years of travel. The food was excellent, but needs a bit more variety. Great pool. Worst complaint is rusty, yellow water, so purchasing bottled water was a must.

Great hotel; wonderful service. Perhaps, the best hotel I have stayed in the Philippines. A paradise in the middle of Iloilo.

I was very happy our usual hotel in Iloilo City was sold out for our most recent trip. This provided us the opportunity to look elsewhere, where we found this gem. This looks to be our new constant when in Iloilo City.
