Reviewed Jul 6, 2025設備大致充足。裝潢較舊，空調控制板好像不太管用，而且有些地方例如電燈開關相當多塵。退房後行李暫存沒有特定的寄存處，職員有時不在，似乎不太安全。不過以這樣的價錢總體來說也算合理。

Reviewed Nov 19, 2024It had a vintage charm with the bathroom design. But other than that, it was not pleasant to stay at this Guide hotel. There was a strong cigarette smell in the hallway. Smell of wet musky carpets in the room. Smell of onions from the outside streets. We found at least 7 ANTS in the room, on the bed, walls and floor. Dirty stains everywhere, and damaged walls and door. So dusty everywhere, they don't use vacuum to clean, only a lint roller for the carpet. Century old dust on the walls, window blinds and TV. The AC is hard to control. Either very hot or very cold. The bed sheets were not done properly, it would slide off/out everyday. I had to keep tucking it back in. I don't know why but we wake up to greasy face every morning. That's unusual for us.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2024The hotel is quite worn down and the top-floor room I got was very noisy because of a big ventilation unit on the roof - making so much noise and resonance that it was impossible to sleep - even with earplugs on. Reviewed Oct 29, 2016My partner and I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel as the staff over there had impeccable service, especially Sylvia, (hope I have spelled her name correctly) who gave us excellent tips and helped us a lot -book cab for us, gave us morning call in wee hours of the morning, etc. Overall, the staff are very approachable and they gave good recommendations on the eateries (beef noodles) and amenities (laundry shops) near the hotel. Ning Xia night market is a walking distance (5mins) from the hotel and there is the famous Yong He Dou Jiang outlet sandwiched between Zhong Shan Station and the hotel. The hotel is super near Bei Men Metro Station (one stop away from Xi Men Ding) which makes it convenient for us to travel via the metro station (Taiwan's MRT). Most importantly, we are very pleased that the rooms and toilets are clean and the room service was beyond expectation. So if you are looking for a less bustling street to live on, I would totally recommend this hotel instead of the ones at Xi Men Ding.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2016Great experience at ChangHua Hotel. The room is comfy and clean, good wifi and daily housekeeping, free toiletries and bottled water/coffee/teas. The best part of the stay is the great service we received from the very friendly and helpful front desk staff. They would answer any questions we have regarding the area, shopping, where to go, how to take transit etc and even google-map it for us! Sylvia, the night-time staff deserves a special mention for her outstanding customer service. She was extremely helpful and resourceful and made our stay in ChangHua homey and memorable. Thank you for all your help! We'd love to stay at ChangHua again at our next visit in Taipei! Hotel location is pretty good, short walk from BeiMen metro and Taipei station, and only one metro stop from the busy/touristy XiMenDing. I like that it's not in the busiest area but still walking distance to major shopping and sightseeing. it's a 10 min walk to DaDaoCheng and the Taipei underground shopping street. Overall very pleasant stay and great location for us. Thanks again :)

Reviewed Jun 25, 2016The location was a bit far off from the Bei Men Mrt station, about 8mins walk without shelter. The hotel is not very visible from the main road so u need to pay attention. the hotel itself is small and dim but fairly clean. the receptionists were very polite and accomodating. one of the staff even helped me sent a leter via registered post after i checked out. the room is very small but comfortable. toiletries and housekeeping were provided everyday. the room was brightly lit though the hall way was dim. very good for a single traveller who wants to save some money on shopping. Bei Men mrt station is just a couple of stops away from Ximending or Taipei Main Stn.
