宿泊した部屋は禁煙でしたが、同じフロアに喫煙所があり、エレベーターを降りたらタバコ臭かった。

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026朝食で和食をいただきましたが、品数も多くてとても美味しかったです。飲み物がたくさんの種類の中から選べたのも良かったです。スタッフの方が清潔感あり、笑顔もステキでした。
部屋の何か家電からか、カチカチみたいな音が鳴ったり止んだりしてました。あと9階のレストランからは見えましたが、私の部屋から岡山城が見えなかったのが残念でした。

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Due to the age of the hotel, the room size was larger than modern hotels. Bathroom was upgraded which was a nice bonus. Quiet overall. At least a few staff members spoke English.
When turning on the air conditioning, the air coming out had tobacco smell coming out. It was especially noticeable when sleeping. The air cleaner was ineffective and they didn’t top up the air freshener. Ot wouldn’t have mattered anyway because you either overheat from turning off the air conditioning or you endure the smell. When i told the front desk they genuinely seemed apologetic which is nice. But still, damage is done. Checked out at the first chance.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2025Dieses Hotel ist einfach schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem ist das Bett bequem und die Nasszelle war offensichtlich neu gemacht. Ich hatte eine ruhige Nacht. Zudem gibt es einen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist absolut ideal, wenn man den Korakuen Park und die Burg besuchen möchte.
Der Fußboden( Teppichboden) war fleckig, die Tapeten sind teilweise gewellt und die Möblierung war vor über vierzig Jahren mal schick.

Reviewed Oct 8, 2025I typically don't leave bad reviews. But i want to save somebody from this place. Thank god we only had one night booked here but this hotel is rough. Like a previous review said, the wallpaper is barely holding on. The carpet in the room we originally were assigned was disgusting, it had stains all over. On top of all that there is a weird musty smell. Staff was amazing and gave us a better room. Super close to castle and garden but i would spend the extra money and get something a lot better.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2025Fabulous clean modern hotel overlooking the castle and gardens by the river, and it's cheap! The room had all needs, kettle fridge etc. microwave and ice by the elevator. Very close to the gardens, castle and museums. Free parking. All round a great place to stay in Okayama which is a interesting town.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2024The location was perfect for accessing the main Tourist sites in Okayama. There was a bus from the JR station to the main entrance to the Korakuen Garden. The hotel is only three blocks from there. Didn't get a chance to try it, but it looked like there was a reasonably priced and popular restaurant on site.
The bed was a little too firm for my liking, as were the pillows.

J'ai cru me trouver dans ma vieille maison de vacances, donc pas désagréable comme sensation. Okayama est une ville très calme et même si la chambre donne sur la route, on a dormi comme des pierres. Je recommande.

Otherwise, the establishment is quite old and far from the station, so if you want to travel to other cities I do recommend to get a place near the major train station. Okayama castle and its garden are in a walking distance, though.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2020新型コロナウィルスの影響で、朝食ビュッフェはプリフィックスで洋食か和食かを選択するものでした。和食を選びましたが、どのお料理もしっかりとしたもので、特に焼きナスと薄揚げのお味噌汁が美味しかったです。給仕の方のサービスも絶妙なタイミングで、心地よく過ごしました。 お部屋は、十分な広さでしたが、絨毯のシミや壁紙の剥がれが一部気になりました。総合的には、後楽園も近く、岡山城が見えるお部屋やレストランで満足です。
