We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The room was excellent and there weren't people all around like being at a resort. It was peaceful. I was hoping for a better view of the ocean which was blocked a little by trees but all in all it was an awesome stay. Tom went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Tom 👍

Slightly off the main, busy part of the Playa Cabarete. A slight bit of a hike (10 to 15 minutes) to where most of the restaurants and grocery stores, kite/wing schools/rentals are, but I appreciate the quietness and security the place has to offer. The facility is modern, clean and well kept. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything! Beautiful , clean apartment . One can tell owners put a lot of care maintaining the place; no musty smell, which is so common in DR due to humidity. Every little detail is thought through. The grounds are very well taken care off, garden is very lush. The location is 2 min away from the beach, with a coffee house right next door, a store, an ATM within a 10-15 min walk. The hosts, Tom and Rene, are super friendly, always there to help. The maintenance staff, Ramon and (sorry, don’t remember the lady’s name), are very thorough. I am not surprised people make it their home and stay there for years.:) I wish I could too.:) Almost forgot, the Wifi is the super reliable and fast. I worked remotely for a few days with no problems whatsoever!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The hosts were wonderful their place had thoughtful little touches like drinking water from the tap fly screens so windows could be opened to catch the lovely breeze, olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee and sugar and even coffee filters so everything was instantly usueable and clothes dryer lovely pool great residents very chilled relaxing spot close to walk everywhere stunning quiet end of the beach turn left to walk upto kite beach turn left to walk to the centre both approx 7 mins along the shore. Wish we had booked a whole week. So secure in a very exclusive gated neighbourhood.

We loved everything

It was near the beach. Tom the host was excellent. He took care of any problem promptly. The staff was excellent and friendly.

There was no breakfast. It was more of an Air BNB. I really do not like them. I go on vacation to get away from doing work. Therefore having to wash dishes and make beds felt like work. We had to walk a bit to find something to eat. I guess I am more of a resort/ hotel person.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The conditins were very calm and very clean.

Everything was stunning in Bahia residence. The apartment was nice, certainly clean and comfortable. The location was super safe and friendly, everyone was nice. Especially the staff - from cleaning to maintenance. Also Rene who was in charge of the office was very helpful in all possible aspects, couldn’t ask for a better host. Recommended 10/10.

Excellent location for kitesurfing, close to beach, very clean, very friendly people and efficient host.

Great access to beach, nice international community with lots of semi-permanent residents and longtime returning guests. Noise from scooters can be kept in check with the windows partially closed.

Spacious, simple but well equipped and very clean and private apt. Private pool and grounds well-maintenanced. Within short walking distance to the beach. Cafe next door. Property Manager accessible and accommodating.

No ocean view (knew that going in). No baking in the DR bc couldn't get the oven to work (but stove, fridge and freezer worked fine). Need vehicle to get to town.

Drinking water was provided. Just a short walk to the beach. Staff was very kind and helpful. The residences/area was calm and quiet at night (and most of the day). It was a lovely place to stay, just a short walk from the more active touristy zones.

At times we could hear cars or neighbors if the windows were open. But it was minimal.

Outstanding place to stay. Close to the beach (2 min walk), and there is even a café next door. Tom, the owner, is so welcoming and the apparthotel is quiet, in pristine condition. I highly recommend this place!

Very well located in Bahia Arena, the Residence has everything you need just a stroll away. The apartment had everything I needed, the people managing the property were absolutely fantastic and helpful and I can’t thank them enough for an awesome stay. Plenty of activities to do even if you are not a Kite Surfer, from kayaking the river to an awesome day out paint-balling, ask for tips to make the most of your stay!

Starting from pick at the airport by taxi sent it was an amazing experience. Perfect location very helpful staff and great neighbours. Wonderful pool and also close to beach for swims and walks.

Our unit was clean an comfortable. When we first arrived, my wife was unhappy that the unit was not right on the beach. But over our one-month stay we came to really enjoy the community and location. The short walk to the beach turned out not to be an issue, even carrying kite gear. We could always use the common area and chairs right at the beach front. The shaded courtyard is well maintained, never windy (which can be a benefit in Cabarete) and property management was very responsive. We had a great time.

Excellent location to the beach, but too close to a noisey highway

This is an okay small motel. This is a residential area so everything is quiet. No room service every day following check-in. Room is small. You can walk to the beach; it is about 5 minutes walking distance.

There is a 24hrs security guard and gate. The area is very clean and quiet. You are 500 meters from a beautiful empty beach. The property is hands on the owner lives there. I was comfortable and felt safe.

WONDERFULL!!!! I'm so glad i came upon this property! Tom and Renee were very helpful even before the trip began! i have found my new spot to stay when i comeback! i would definitely recommend this property!!

Host, Renee is awesome, very helpful loaded with information. Place is beatiful and located walking distance to beach. Wind surfing is fun to watch as well.

I like how clean and well maintained it was. I was actually surprise to see that. I like the calm environment. The beach was right there!

Everything was good. Tom and Renee were good host.The staff was friendly, and attentive as always. We notice some upgrades in our apartment. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It is our home away from home.

Great location! Quiet and nice, in a cute gated community surrounded by beautiful villas. Right next to awesome coffee shop for food/if you need to do some remote work. Would def recommend to others!

A great apartment with everything I needed for a wonderful short break. Spotlessly clean, great air con and fans, the TV worked fine, but having been shown it worked, I never switched it on again. Too much great stuff to do in Cabarete. Tom and Renee are great hosts, they gave me helpful information about the local area and booked a taxi for me at the end of my stay to help me get to the airport which is about 25 minutes away. The apartment is in a really pleasant and safe part of the town, near enough to get there easily but far enough away to be quiet at night. I would certainly go back again and recommend it to my friends.

Really friendly staff. Clean and nice. We love to stay there.

We stayed there before. Everything was nice, the staff was friendly. The only issue was the television. Some of the channel were not clear. But after speaking with the staff, they changed the cable. That made it a little better. We stayed there back in March of this year and experienced the same problem plus the tint adjustment was poor. The curtains in the bedroom had an old smell odor. They may need to be changed or washed. Over all everything was nice. We really always enjoy our stay there.

It is a really good place to stay ,renee and tom are very nice and helpfull the place has alot of privacy but is very close to town We stayed there many times and will go back again.
