The view is stunning and the staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful. We will comeback!

Fantastic property, photos do not make justice to the rooms and facilities. Very pleased with pur stay. Breakfast was delicious.

Situation intéressante Chambre défraîchie grand besoin de rénovation

Magnifiques endroits

Gorgeous location with stately hotel overlooking St Lawrence River. Dining is superb, staff professional, welcoming and attentive. Spa and pool area bliss after day of hiking or kayaking or strolling lovely locales. Rooms big w fireplace and soaker tubs. Truly a gem.

Superbe découverte

Très bel endroit, nous avons beaucoup apprécié

Very beautiful place! Room was updated and great view. Staff did not understand English well. The server was not so friendly at the restaurant. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely room, balcony with beautiful view. Fireplace and spacious room with great bed. Quiet. Beautiful outdoor spa area. Whirlpool bath in bathroom showing it’s age. Would recommend Auberge des Falaises without reservation!

The air conditioner in our room - 106 - didn't work. It was freezing in the room and the control did not work. Other than that, the room was lovely and set up very well. the view was outstanding, We thoroughly enjoyed our massages by Nancy. The restaurant was not our cup of tea, I would have preferred some lamb or French onion soup.

Merci

Perched on a hill with beautiful views of the river, this auberge is an elegant, welcoming gem. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The menu offers regional variety and the brunch was amazing. If we return we would book a room with a balcony.

Nice place, nice view, nice spas, nice food.

The ambiance and staff were outstanding. I would definitely return.

Directed to another hotel where the auberge made arrangements because “the room” we rented had a problem with the bathroom.

Comme à l’habitude, la nourriture était excellente et les spas très appréciés. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

good view. clean. good place to stay at. we checked in very late. They gave us a call making sure we are coming. Did not have any issue.

Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute de nos besoins.

Belle vue sur le fleuve, chambre spacieuse. Restaurant gastronomique.

Superbes installations, chambres romantiques avec vue sur le fleuve

We spent one night at this property and were very pleased. We had great views of the bay and the room was very nice. We are considering returning for a longer stay in the fall!

The view is spectacular. The site of the hotel is amazing with 3 hot tubs and a heated pool overlooking the view of the bay.

Excellent staff, superior food, charming atmosphere

Beautiful spot. Great view. Quiet area

Vue incroyable. Malgré la COVID les services étaient excellents et les options de restaurant/déjeuner faisaient un excellent remplacement. Je recommande le spa pour relaxer à la fin de la journée. J'ai pu rentrer mon vélo de route sans problème.

We had an absolutely amazing time! Our room had the most incredible view of the St Laurent and mountains. The food was delicious and the spa is outstanding! We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in La Malbaie!!

The view of the hôtel was amazing. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view on the St-Laurent. The good was good, but the portions aéré very small.

It was obvious the owner has a lot of pride in his property. We could not have been happier with it.

Excellent hôtel. Nice view.

Lovely spot, dated room..plastic flowers..? The coffee in the room was very poor. Good bed, stunning view and fireplace.

We loved everything about this Auberge. The food was also excellent.

Balcony with table and chairs with wonderful view of River! Outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs and sauna in quiet setting and on hilltop. Nice view from pool. Breakfast buffet was a bit expensive. Need reservations to eat dinner there. Instead we went to local excellent cafe for dinner & breakfast.

I chose a deluxe room thinking it would give me a room with a view of the water. At first they put me on the bottom floor which gave me a view of trees. When I complained, they grudgingly moved me up one floor, which did provide a lovely view of the water. The bathrooms are updated and nicely appointed. The rest of the room is quite dated and unremarkable. The hot tubs and sauna are located up the hill and provide a relaxing way to end the day. Overall, if not for the view, the stay would have been just average.

This is a charming property nestled in a beautiful setting. The view from the second floor is ideal to view the entirety of the St. Lawrence River. What we really loved is the food and the dining room.

Very nice inn on hillside ,easy access ,super views ,attractive spa areas ,swanky dining ,would have liked to stay longer

Excellent stay, quaint old Inn with a view of the bay

We really enjoyed the spa.....very relaxing ! It was a good base to visit seeing the black bears at Pic Bois.

Lovely jacuzzis, small gazebos with warming units, heated pool all added to the gorgeous view

Beautiful views, great spa, great food! Would return next year during my trip to the North Shore...

Très belle emplacement... Vue exceptionnelle... Très bon service

When I pulled up I was underwhelmed by the exterior, but when I got in my room and saw the view, and the fireplace, I felt totally affirmed in my decision to stay here. Just gorgeous treetop view looking out onto the river and coastline. The decor is dated, but focus on the view. The outdoor spa area and heated glass-enclosed cabanas were equally fantastic, and can still be used comfortably on cold days (as was the case when I was there). The auberge's restuarant is absolutely fantastic for the 5 course dinner as well as for breakfast. The maitre d and chefs are extremely good at what they do. I hope to come back! FYI only a few on staff speak fluent English, so you really should know passing French if coming here.

Gorgeous location on a hillside overlooking the St. Lawrence River and surrounded by high-end estates. Didn't matter to us, but a short drive into the town. Overall, a great spot. I really don't want to say anymore just so that I can submit this review. Okay, last addition and then I am giving up.

It was a very long and tedious drive from NH, but staying here made it worthwhile. I can't wait to return. two nights was too short, I will probably return for at least 3 nights.

Everything was delightful. Spa is great, diner was excellent, room with nice view

Wonderful scenic location, well appointed room and great dining with attentive service. The only downside was attempting to check out at 7am and no front desk staff available which I found disconcerting. Thus we did not receive an itemized bill?

Very old aubergefalaise very awkward to get to your room had to take stairs

This was the most expensive of the auberges we stayed in during our holiday, but also our room was by far the nicest of anywhere we stayed: we had a beautiful view and a shared balcony. There's also a pool, massage, and much else on offer. Dinner again was more expensive but excellent. Other good restaurants are a short drive away, and several are within about a mile on foot. We didn't try breakfast at the auberge; theres a lovely bakery with multiple breakfast options a short drive into town.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after taking the train into Lamalbaie. We had a room with a balcony, but it was raining the entire time so we didn't get to take advantage of any views. The room decor is what I would describe as "grandma"...old style floral fabrics with odd lighting choices. Nothing seemed cohesive in the decor or feel of the room. The best part of this inn is the breakfast...you get to pick a main order from a menu and then get to take advantage of a buffet style table with pastries, fruit, yogurt, cheese, juices, etc. The inn is up a fairly steep hill, so you need to take a taxi to get anywhere, especially from the train station.
