Room was large and had big windows, letting the evening sun in. Everything seemed to have been properly cleaned. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

There was a stinky foot smell as soon as I walked into the room. I guess we can blame on the previous guest as the odour went away over the next couple of days. The appliances and furniture are showing their age. The fridge gurgles every now and then, it and the A/C are noisy. Breakfast was on the simple side, only protein was boiled eggs that some days were gone by 9am.

Like many of the hotels/motels, the toilet in our room was extremely low. I expect this is a problem for most older people as it is for me.

Staff was very friendly, definitely needs some updates to the rooms but seemed clean and quiet. They welcome pets which is great.

Great hotel for a few quiet nights away

Hotel was exactly what we needed. Really appreciated the King Suite with the separate bedroom and kitchen.

First, the front desk that checked in is not that welcoming you would expect in a hotel business. It’s like she’s not happy with her job. Pretty straightforward. No hi, good afternoon or whatever. Asked my id and credit card. Short briefing of the hotel policy, etc. Asked her what would she recommend for us in Tumbler Ridge. She just gave me a magazine and said read this it’s all here. And room service of every three days only. You are responsible of your garbage disposal when it gets full. No refilling of towels, garbage bags, tissue paper, etc. it’s up to you to ask every time. We are a family of 4 booked for three nights. I would not recommend staying at Tumble Ridge accommodation. I would rather stay at Chetwynd.

We had plenty of room in our king suite, and it was well-furnished. It was clean (and I notice these things). The take-away cookies at breakfast were a nice touch.

A pretty decent hotel in a small town. The attached restaurant is good as well. They have a continental breakfast which is pretty basic, but there is a full breakfast option close by.

The carpets are dirty and full of pets' hair. My wife dropped her dress for our Christmas party on the floor, and it was covered in hair. The tiled part was almost sticky when you walked it with sneakers, almost as if there were to must soap in the mop water.

I love the quiet and the beauty of the surroundings. Easy access to the entire community on foot. Generous breakfast buffet. Love the Jacuzzi suite.

Stopped in for one night on a road trip, perfectly decent accommodation and nice staff

Your coffee packs in the room are too small and weak. The complimentary breakfast we expected more, like scrambled eggs, cooked bacon, bread for toast.

It was a pleasant stay with my family + 1 good boi. Only issue was the defective shower diverter. About 80% of water continues to run down through the tub spout after pulling up the valve.

Loved the staff and everything was great. Clean rooms except the jacuzzi was little dirty.

It is a nice place to stay, for the location it is at. Rooms are not ultra high tech but very nicely maintained, well equipped, comfy, clean and quiet.

Check is was good. Clerk was friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable and generally clean (bathroom could have done with a good scrub). Room was quiet and beds were super comfy. The restaurant was open when we were there, but is apparently closed two days a week and there are limited options in Tumbler Ridge, so check it out before your go.

Good for a night or 2, highly over priced but no other options.

Stayed 2 nights and we had to move rooms our second night at 9 pm because of a plugged toilet that staff were unable to deal with or even provide a plunger. There was no one to assist me and my elderly mother with the move to another room. I was told the lady at front desk was alone so could not leave her desk. I found her demeanour very rude.

Need to fix ice machines, needed for our water bottles.for hikes and they were all not working.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the front desk staff is great. However a three day we did not have service to the room any of the days even when you put the make up room sign on the door. I’m not sure if they are under staffed or what’s up? All the garbages were overflowing and that was unfortunate giving the price of the stay. Would definitely go back for the town and hiking.

Nice hotel. Good staff. Better than average breakfast. Probably 10yrs old and starting to show its age with cracked or missing tiles etc. will need a freshening up soon.

I didn't like that there was no maid service over our 3 night stay. For over $200/night to make the beds and tidy up each day should be included. Continental breakfast was good.

Kitchenette is very small and poorly equipped, but I guess it's adequate. You wouldn't want to cook here very much. Also, the hotel is surrounded by parking lots on all sides and in the mornings big trucks idle for a while before driving off to work, so it can be loud around 7am or before. However, we were surprised by the continental breakfast, it was a bit better than expected.

We stayed in a king suite which had a separate bedroom and kitchenette. The rooms were spacious and clean, the continental breakfast is enough to get you started in the morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful, good location to explore the area.

My wife and I try to get to Tumbler Ridge at least once a year. We have stayed here before and the breakfast was good. My wife loves a hot breakfast with waffles. This year I had a choice between a queen bed and basic continental breakfast or a king bed suite with the full breakfast for a higher price. I opted for the latter. For me, thpe difference isn't between the beds. It's the difference made on a road trip with a happy contented partner. To our disappointment, there was no hot breakfast. The included breakfast was a basic continental breakfast one might expect from a roadside motel. Hard to believe that we paid the most for this room of all of the places we stayed on the trip.
