WARNING — $700 CASH DISAPPEARED FROM OUR BACKPACK WHILE AT THIS HOTEL We recently stayed at Suarga Padang Padang, and unfortunately an extremely disturbing incident happened on our last day that completely changed our impression of this hotel. After checking out, we left our luggage in the hotel’s luggage room while we went surfing. When we returned, we collected our luggage, sat down at the hotel, and ordered lunch. At that point, our backpack containing our passports, electronics, and cash was with us. A waitress came to take our food and drink order and saw exactly where our bags were. We then asked about taking a shower. The same waitress personally escorted us from the area where we had left our belongings to the shower facilities. We were away from our bag for only around FIVE MINUTES. When we came back, our drinks had already been placed on the table. Shortly afterward, we discovered that $700 CASH WAS MISSING from a ziplock bag inside our backpack. Nothing else was taken. Our passports were still there. Our electronics and other valuables were still there. The backpack itself was still there. Someone had apparently gone inside the backpack, opened the specific place where the cash was kept, removed the cash, and left everything else untouched. This is what makes the incident so disturbing to us. It did not look like someone randomly grabbing an unattended bag. Whoever took the money appears to have specifically taken cash while leaving passports, electronics, and other identifiable valuables behind. The hotel also controls access through its reception area. We did not see random people or outside visitors walking around our belongings during this period — only hotel staff. We cannot prove which individual took the money, and we are not accusing a specific employee without evidence.

La location è splendida, da cartolina, con piscine e ristorante affacciati sull’oceano, stanze spaziose e bagni molto belli.

Dovrebbero descrivere meglio le stanze perché abbiamo scelto una “ocean view” quando in realtà non lo era affatto. Visto il nostro disappunto ci è stata però proposta una stanza differente, abbiamo apprezzato molto.

Les espaces communs, notamment la piscine et les extérieurs, sont très beaux et offrent de belles vues. En revanche, les chambres sont loin du niveau de standing que l’hôtel laisse imaginer.

Nous avons payé environ 6 millions IDR par nuit pour finalement passer une nuit horrible à cause de grenouilles qui sautaient partout dans la chambre qui été littéralement infestée de grenouilles noire et autres bêtes. Lorsque nous avons signalé le problème, on nous a simplement répondu que c’était « normal à Bali ». Pour nous, ce n’est absolument pas acceptable dans une chambre à ce prix. La gestion du problème a été encore plus décevante : aucune solution satisfaisante à part on envoie quelqu’un enlever le crapeau! aucun geste commercial à la hauteur et énormément de temps perdu pour nous proposer un logement inférieur si on veut changer de chambre. Un ami a finalement dû payer environ 6 millions IDR supplémentaires pour nous permettre de changer de logement, alors que nous avions proposé de payer nous-mêmes la différence. À cela s’ajoutent des maillots de bain de marque décolorés par l’eau de la piscine et, lors de notre départ, le refus de nous délivrer une facture. Au final, nous avons perdu une nuit de sommeil, beaucoup de temps, de l’argent et toute confiance dans cet établissement. Le véritable problème n’est pas qu’un incident puisse arriver, mais la façon dont le management choisit de le gérer. De très beaux espaces communs, certes, mais cela ne suffit absolument pas à compenser des chambres décevantes et une gestion client particulièrement mauvaise. Nous ne reviendrons pas et ne recommandons pas cet établissement.

Otelin lokasyonu çok iyi.Manzara ve havuz efsane. 24 saat dalga ve kuş sesi dinliyorsunuz.İnanılmazdı. Otel tertemizdi. Odada cibinlik olması harika.Akşamları personel cibinliği kurmak için geliyor.

Böyle bir otelde odalarda kahve makinası olmasını beklerdik . Odaların kapıları kepenkli şekilde kapanıyor.Böcek yada başka bir şey girecek korkusuyla açık bırakamadık .Buna bir çözüm bulunmalı. Açmadığımız içinde oda çok karanlık oldu. .Otelin harıka bir barı var. Ama kokteyler çok başarılı ne yazık ki değil. Restaurant menüsü biraz pahalı. Masaj açık havada yapılıyor. Dalga sesleri ile aslında çok güzel ama biraz daha profosyonelleşmesi gerek.

1. Очень маленький номер за свои деньги. 2. Отсутствие приватности и уединения (в туалете крыша из соломы и соединена с соседями так, что ощущение будто они в одной комнате с тобой), 3 ограничен выбор блюд на завтрак 4. Отсутствует зал 5. В спа нет мест или есть только одно окошко, полагаю связано с тем что спа маленький

L’hébergement et tout est en option notamment au niveau du petit déjeuner et les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce qui est vendu.

Les espaces communs sont sublimes : l'énorme structure en bambou du restaurant, la piscine a débordement sur la mer, l'entrée majestueuse.

Malheureusement, tout ici est fait pour gagner de l'argent malgré un prix des chambres déjà bien trop élevé pour l'expérience client. Les extérieurs sont certes magnifiques... mais ils les ouvrent aux extérieurs (moyennant un ticket d'entrée) en journée, donc le havre de paix se retrouve bondé de personnes au détriment des clients de l'hôtel. Le restaurant a des prix hallucinants pour des quantités ridicules, j'ai personnellement préféré sortir tous les soirs et les midis de l'hôtel ce qui perd de l'intérêt pour le cadre. Le petit déjeuner était ok pour moi mais là encore, énormément de choses en options (ex. Un café non balinais est payant). En comparant à d'autres hôtels faits en Indonésie, même dans des secteurs touristiques, la chambre payée 300€/nuit n'en vaut pas plus que 100€. Pas de petits plus (ex. Pas de mouchoirs, pas de produit moustique,...), il est interdit de ramener nourriture et boissons de l'extérieur sous peine d'amende (oui vous avez bien lu !), la chambre était très sombre et dans mon cas, je me suis retrouvée avec deux chambres dans la chambre alors que j'étais seule, divisant par 2 l'espace utile de cette chambre supposée faire 70m2. Une perte d'espace inutile et accessoirement elle ne correspondaient pas aux photos sur Booking. A priori ils facturent toute tâche sur les draps ou les serviettes pourtant les draps et serviettes fournis sont déjà tachés donc pas remplacés. Enfin le resort est dit écolo, l'eau chaude vient donc de panneaux solaires --> ne pas s'attendre à une douche très chaude... Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Autant payer le billet d'entrée pour la journée et repartir dormir et manger le soir dans un hôtel plus orienté client. J'ai vraiment eu la désagréable impression d'être un pigeon.

The view is awesome. The bar/restaurant are beautifully appointed, beautifully lit. Attention to detail. Lovely sound system. Great beer menu and snacks. Coffee was great. The music and atmosphere, including the live entertainment were well curated and mood-appropriate: excellent. The Spa massage was great; lovely environment. The room was clean and fresh as were the grounds. The staff were always attentive and service was excellent.

There was no hot water in the morning. This simply must be fixed for 5m IDR a night. The restaurant prices are "paying for the view". Nasi Goreng was 240k IDR. At the time this was $20AUD - for fried rice! But we paid it because the view really is wonderful as is the environment. I also dislike the very common practice of menu prices that do not include surcharges and taxes. The surcharges are arbitrary so it is plainly deceptive. Price lists are meant to indicate to the customer what an item will cost them. Please just be honest on your menu.

We absolutely loved our stay here. First of all, the location is truly exceptional — right above beautiful Padang Padang Beach, with the sound of the ocean constantly in the background. Falling asleep and waking up to the waves every day was an absolute dream. We stayed in one of the Wantilan villas and the room was beautiful, spacious, extremely comfortable and felt very special. What we also loved is that although this is a resort, it never feels huge or overwhelming. Everything is close, accessible and easy — no endless walks just to get from your room to breakfast or the pool 😊 And the staff… simply incredible. ❤️ Every single person we met was warm, attentive and genuinely helpful. Whatever we needed, they were there for us, always with a smile and often going above and beyond. Breakfast overlooking the infinity pool and the ocean is such a beautiful way to start the day, and the restaurant itself is excellent — we had several wonderful meals there. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and, again, an amazing team. A truly special place in Uluwatu. We would happily come back. ❤️

The location, pool and views were incredible

I felt the rooms were a little underwhelming. There was very little “luxury” feel. No body lotion in bathroom, no extras, no hairdryer, no gowns or slippers. Just basics.

All is bad

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Honestly, I do not think the hotel deserves its current rating or the price they charge. The service was very poor and slow. There were not even Kleenex tissues available in the bathrooms. The restaurant prices were also extremely expensive compared to the quality and level of service provided. The rooms were very noisy and had poor sound insulation. Throughout my stay, I could clearly hear motorcycles, cars, and constant honking from outside, which made it very difficult to sleep and relax. Overall, the hotel is far too expensive for what it offers and is definitely not worth the price or the rating it has. My rating would be zero out of ten, and I would not recommend staying here.

Cliff top views, modern design, infinity pool

Staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming. Male servers were better than most female servers. Jacqueline was friendly and commendable. Angel was not friendly, seemed like she didn’t want to be there and anything that I asked her for like a drink or what is the time or reminding her about the straw that I asked for and she forgot to give me, she pulled a face as though it was too much effort. These interactions made the stay less enjoyable for me.

Das Hotelzimmer war top 🤩👌 Sehr schön und gemütlich! Die Lichtanlage ist allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig 😅💡 und im Bad war es für unseren Geschmack etwas zu dunkel. Ansonsten alles super 👍🌴😊

Honestly the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at. The infinity pool and daily massages overlooking beautiful Padang Padang beach, the stunning eco friendly Balinese architecture and the beautiful staff. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, and walking distance to shops and great restaurants. Treat yourself and stay at Suarga.

The strict rules around bringing in any food and drinks from outside, and the corkage charges if you do! The bathroom was very dark.

The employees are amazing, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is very good.

The room was a little bit noisy.

The rooms are really really dark. Hard if you are trying to find things in your suitcase. I think the complex needs a bit of an upgrade. Breakfast was ok but not nearly as good as the last two resorts.

Second time staying at Suarga, definitely the best pool view and relaxing atmosphere I’ve ever stayed at, awesome cappuccino and food, never waiting for a drink or service. 5 star experience without the price tag

the room overlooks a pool which is great. Thats about all that is great, the rest of the room was not that great. For example, the light switches sometimes works, but if they don't try try again :)

The cleaning services were really bad. We called them about maybe spraying the bathroom (the bathroom has an open ceiling) and the room has wood flooring that you can see nature underneath it. I mean it's okay to find maybe a few bugs here and there, but a crap!! that was something... ooh and also Jerry (the mouse) eat our soap. Another disappointment, on the day of check out at around 11:30AM they refused to serve us coffee as the checkout time was set by at 12PM and we can NOT extend it an hour. The key question, is how did they deliver that message. In short, they said you want coffee? come to the front desk and we would give you coffee, which was laughable. And another point do NOT leave any food / drinks after you are done outside or inside of your room as ants have a fantastic updating service and location of such will be identified and attacked at once lol and yeah the staff might leave it till next day or the next afternoon

The best hotel! Thee location is amazing, the view is unreal, the architecture and design is so unique and cool, the staff are amazing. There is not a better hotel in Uluwatu

Fabulous room that is careful to maintain an eco view but retain luxury. I love the interior design keeping as much to nature and the aircon system that is bed focused. It is what we need without excess.

I thought there may be more facilities like a fitness / yoga / spa areas. The facilities are mostly pool and 2 dining areas, which are still wonderful if you're looking for a quiet minamalist beautiful place in the busy Padang Padang area.

Perché sur les falaises d’Uluwatu, avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan Indien et le spot de surf de Padang Padang, l’endroit est tout simplement magique. L’architecture en bois recyclé et sculpté donne un cachet unique à chaque espace — on sent que chaque détail a été pensé, sans jamais tomber dans l’ostentatoire. Les chambres sont spacieuses, élégantes, baignées de lumière et de brise marine. Le personnel est aux petits soins, discret et chaleureux à la fois. Le restaurant Dugong, en plein air avec vue sur la piscine à débordement et l’horizon, propose une cuisine fraîche et savoureuse qui fait honneur aux produits locaux. Un séjour ressourçant, loin du tourisme de masse, dans un hôtel qui prouve qu’on peut voyager bien sans abîmer ce qu’on est venu chercher. À recommander sans hésiter.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en adequaat, iedereen is erg behulpzaam en meedenkend .De locatie geven wij een dikke 10.

Het ontbijtbuffet vind ik simpel voor de bedragen die je moet neertellen voor een kamer . Het is beter om dit inclusief het ontbijt aan te bieden zonder extra kosten.

Te cobrarán muchas cosas aparte. Por ejemplo en el desayuno, el café te lo cobran. Creo que para el precio, esperaría más. Los precios dentro del hotel muy caros respecto a afuera. Un agua de coco cuesta casi 3 veces más.

Unflexibilität seitens des Managements (Zi): hatte ursprünglich für 2 Pers gebucht (Reise wurde leider aufgrund der Iran-Krise storniert) - Hotel konnte mir keine kulante Lösung anbieten (obwohl low season)

Room super tidy, aircon worked amazing, excellent staff who helped contact a taxi driver where we had left our phone. Our room fronted onto a beautiful swimming pool with ocean views.

We zijn wakker geworden met 1000 insecten in de hele kamer verspreid en daar werd niks mee gedaan. We gingen uit checken en ze zeiden we gaan nu de kamer schoonmaken. (Hadden we natuurlijk niks aan)

There is no air conditioning at the reception. We were sweating while checking in and checking out. Also no air conditioning in the rooms and restrooms. Some sort of “fresh bed”. The bathroom was an oven!!! Also no lights in the room very tough for women to do makeup. However the staff were very nice and tried to help but without air conditioning it was a very bad experience

Het is geen 5 sterren resort. De score is na mijn beklag aangepast naar 4. Niet goed aan booking.com doorgegeven. Wel naar gezocht voor de aanpassing en daarop gekozen. Prijzen zijn ook 5 sterren niveau. Je betaalt echt alleen voor het uitzicht.

Location and soft product is still amazing, staff is amazing. View from the main pool area is still unbelievable and unbeatable.

This is my 3rd stay here and first post Covid. Some of the hard product can improve. Feels like the resort is ageing and dating a bit. It needs some TLC, refresh the pool towels and some furniture cushions and table cloths etc. Rooms are still unique but showing its age.

What a lovely property!! So relaxing and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is gorgeous. We would watch the sunset during happy hour and the open air concept truly feels like you are part of nature. The staff is attentive and the food was delicious. Close to walking into town with shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

View was nice from the lobby...

The whole resort is very outdated & rundown. Very disapointing considering how expensive it was: no gym, dark small rooms with no desk. Staff warn about monkeys but this could easily be fixed with mesh above the showers. Very strict rules in the hotel - not allowed any outside food...but their food at the hotel is so limited and very expensive. Would NEVER stay here again.

Close to all the fun spots in Uluwatu and very comfy rooms! Staff are all incredibly welcoming and the pool is in the best spot. Easy to find/get to. Breakfast was delicious and included in our room rate. Hidden gem for sure!

Super gelegen fast über den Klippen des berühmten Strandes Padag Padang. Schöne Anlage am Hang gelegen mit Bungalows und vielen Pflanzen. Sehr beeindruckender Eingangsbereich mit anschliessender Bar, Lounge, Restaurant und Pool.
