Everything, nothing to complain about. Very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and evening meal. Good location just a short walk to the harbour. 10 minutes walk to the car park at top of hill, car park is £8.70 for 24 hours shame their isn't a discounted rate for overnight visitors.

Breakfast was delicious. All of the staff were incredibly helpful from the moment we checked in to breakfast and checking out. The room was lovely, very comfortable with everything expected.

Its location. Right in the heart of Staithes down near the harbour. Also, we left something in the room which the staff sent on to us foc.

This was our second stay and was as good as the first! Lovely room and good value for money. Breakfast was great and so was our evening meal there. Great location.

I had a wonderful stay at The Royal George and would happily return. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing few days in Staithes. The location was perfect for exploring the village and surrounding coastline. What really made my stay special, though, was the people. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely kind throughout my visit. A special thank you to the lovely breakfast lady and the lovely evening bar lady, who both went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They remembered my breakfast order (which is 10/10!), always made sure I had plenty of water and patiently answered all of my random questions with a smile. Their kindness, care and genuine warmth made such a difference to my stay, especially while I was dealing with a sore ankle. I felt so well looked after, and it’s something I’ll remember long after my holiday.

Room is quite small, but to be expected in an old pub.

Staff were really friendly breakfast was good and they served us despite us turning up too early. The room was small but had all the things you need and a decent fan in the heat-wave. Served good home cooked food and was in a good position.

The room abovw the street where people sat. I know just enjpying themselves but really loud when we were up early to carry on walking to next place

The room was lovely with everything that you needed, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and good sized shower. The breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee, juice and toast with the choice of cereal and other alternatives. Also a good choice of drinks at the bar with friendly staff. We had a meal on the first evening and this was very well priced and fresh, would definitely recommend eating here.

The pub is at the very heart of this large village. Everything is a two minute walk.We loved our stay here. The rooms were super clean and well presented I suspect there has been a recent refurb as everything was immaculate. The breakfast was excellently presented and great quality. We had the full English but other options were available. For the price we paid in this popular location I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it highly.

The issue I have is not really with the hotel as they can do nothing about it but a heads up would have been nice and the title ‘what I didn’t like’is too strong as we absolutely loved Staithes and will visit again. The tourist area of Staithes is accessed by a narrow road down a very steep hill. At the top of the hill is a very prominent no entry to vehicles sign Next to this is a car park so we parked up paying £8.70 for 24hrs. (Great value)We then walked to the hotel with all of our bags etc. upon departure I was told that vehicles can access the village for 40 mins to unload/load. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. It is a lovely walk down the hill but not when you forget to pack light.

Lovely cosy, friendly pub. Very clean and comfortable. Tea,coffee and bottled water in rooms. The food was fabulous! Really great breakfast and the steak pie was amazing!

Excellent stay with lovely staff, fantastic food and the best guiness in the area.

We liked the Pub atmosphere when we arrived sun night. We were efficiently shown our room & where breakfast would be. We had evening meal there which is typically large portion Pub Grub. The bed was comfortable. The shower/toilet was very clean but bit cramped due to the nature of the building.

Having to park the car at the top of the very steep hill. Yes you can drive down & drop your cases off & one of you has to sort of the ridiculous car park ‘online’ booking (why you can’t use contactless card is beyond me) & then walk down cobbled road down (bearable) but next morning going up the hill to get the car to come back down & collect your cases was physically challenging to the point of exhaustion. For pensioners I would not recommend it.

The pub is in the heart of Staithes village and was cosy and welcoming on a bitterly cold day. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our evening meal (I’d recommend the pie).

Breakfast was excellent. Delicious, plenty of selection, plenty of it. Delightfully served. Timed when we wanted it too. Lovely location for eating and great window view. Bedroom was extremely comfortable, very clean. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful in helping carry our luggage up the stairs.

The stairs up to the room were just hard for my husband, who is disabled. But it was my own fault for not checking with the hotel before our stay. I should have asked about accessibility. Also parking was a problem and I should have realised having visited Staithes before. So no fault of the hotel.

Only downside is as it’s such a old village - no parking nearby. But this adds to the charm of the place.

Staff super friendly, our room was fabulous and so clean. Lovely shower and view of the road below. We had dinner downstairs and it was value for money and so tasty! Breakfast was even better❤️ have already recommended to friend and family.

Shower water a little too scarce coming out for me to wash my hair. Hollandaise sauce with breakfast was not the real deal but loved our stay.

The toilet accessories were dirty needs new toilet brush. Comfy room otherwise.

Very clean, comfortable accommodation with staff that could not have been more helpful. Food was excellent, without pretension and priced sensibly. I was out before breakfast and given a very nice packed lunch. Would certainly book again.
