Reviewed Aug 27, 2026El apartamento estaba muy limpio. La cocina tenía todo lo necesario y el dueño nos dejó café y azúcar para poder usar. Las camas son muy cómodas. El pequeño jardín es un plus.
Tuvimos algún problema con el agua caliente. Para 3 duchas parece que el agua caliente era insuficiente.

Buscar las sabanas en el garaje y Tener que hacer la cama y las sábanas de color gris no blancas. No hay aire acondicionado y el ventilador hacia un ruido imposible de soportar.

Hassle with linen, which we were told to bring ourselves after booking, but were offered to take available clean and put ourselves. However one bed cover was quite unclean - full of hair and body hair, and towels had funny smell. Soap bottle was not working in bathroom. No bag for garbage. Except for these issues it was pleasant stay.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026La casa estava reformada per dins i era com viure en una casa típica belga amb totes les comoditats. La casa te dos apartaments i nosaltres estavem al primer, que té un jardí amb terrassa, molt acollidor.
La olor de les tovalloles era extranya, com si fessin olor de humitat.

It only provides ‘emergency’ bedsheets and towels (you are informed about this only after reservation). When we arrived the place was not clean (roten bread and stuff, unwashed dishes, peanuts on the floor, which we had to take care of) the owner systematically blamed the cleaning lady, yet now I doubt cleaning is made, so only done between guests. She tells you (not ask) to put all dishes back to the shelves along with a long set of instructions, including getting rid of the garbage. We’re okey with doing it, but it’s the way of instructing guests who pay for the service which is uncomfortable. This is long information should be provided beforehand (on the description of the place) and not prior to arrival.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Schöne, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft. Wir haben zu dritt übernachtet und durften unsere Fahrräder netterweise sicher und trocken in der Garage parken. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig mit schöner Aussicht und besitzt einen kleinen privaten Garten mit Terrasse. Die Küchenausstattung ist hochwertig, mit allem was man zum Kochen so braucht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr angenehm und zuverlässig- sogar als wir bemerkt haben, dass wir etwas in der Wohnung vergessen haben, wurde uns geholfen (und wir werden unsere Camping-Teller bald per Post erhalten). Vielen Dank für diese tolle Gastfreundschaft!
Erst nach der Buchung erfuhren wir, dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher selbst mitgebracht werden sollen…. Ein ziemlicher Schock für uns, da wir mit den Fahrrädern und daher limitiertem Gepäck unterwegs waren. Freundlicherweise durften wir die in einem Schrank verstauten Ersatz-Handtücher und Bettwäsche verwenden… von daher ist für uns alles gut gegangen. Es wäre aber schön gewesen, wenn dies eher kommuniziert würde oder, noch besser, wenn die Wäsche einfach inklusive wäre. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

L'odeur de renfermé du linge de maison (mais c'était déjà sympa d'avoir fourni des serviettes et des draps de secours) L'absence de volets ou de rideaux occultants laissant la lumière du jour entrer dans la chambre dès l'aube.

Laute Nachbarn in Appartement 1, vor allem morgens. Kinder, die durch den ganzen Hausflur schreien, lautes Gepolter ab 6:30. Da hätte ich mir etwas mehr Rücksichtnahme der anderen Urlauber gewünscht.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Review – Apartment in Liège I want to leave a very honest review so that future guests know exactly what to expect. Unfortunately, the experience was not good. When we arrived, the apartment had a very strong and unpleasant smell, similar to raw fish. There was also a large dead fly on the floor, which already gave a bad first impression regarding cleanliness. The bed was not made. After a trip, you still have to go to the garage, get the bed sheets and towels yourself, and make the bed on your own. The same applies to the towels. In addition, guests are required to wash plates, glasses, and cutlery before using them and also leave them clean when leaving. The problem is that since every guest has to do this, many of the dishes were dirty when we arrived. It gives the impression that there is no professional cleaning, and that the cleaning depends only on previous guests. Another very negative point is the brightness in the master bedroom. A lot of light comes in, both at night and early in the morning, which makes it very difficult to sleep properly. The worst point, in my opinion, is the access to the apartment: there are many wooden stairs, very steep and narrow, and there is no elevator. Carrying luggage up the stairs is difficult and even dangerous. When you arrive, there is a “welcome” sign, but honestly, the feeling is the opposite. It feels like the guest has to do everything themselves. Overall, the experience does not match what is expected from a paid accommodation, especially regarding cleanliness, comfort, and access to the apartment.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026Chris heeft het goed geregeld, alle info om in de accommodatie te komen en de huisregels communiceert hij op tijd en duidelijk. De tuin met terras en zitje is ook fijn.We hebben de schoonmaakster ontmoet en dat is ook een prettige dame met goede tips.
Het was erg warm in de slaapkamers bij aankomst. Kom je met het openbaar vervoer ( bus) stap dan niet uit bij de halte Fontaine blue (veel hoge steile trappen) maar bij Hocheporte. Via de reu henri vieuwstemps neem je halverwege de straat rechts, een korte trap naar de general modard.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026J'ai beaucoup apprécié la réactivité de l'hôte. Le fait de disposer d'un espace extérieur est évidemment un plus. Pas de problème à l'arrivée, le système des différents digicodes est très pratique. Situé sur les hauteurs de Liège dans une rue calme et non loin du centre à pieds, la maison , constituée de deux appartements offre la possibilité d'une certaine indépendance les uns par rapport aux autres, même si nous étions en famille et que nous avons privilégié l'appartement du bas pour nos repas en commun. Nous avions suffisamment de place pour tous pour les repas ou les moments de détente sur de généreux canapés et fauteuils. Ma fille , arrivée dans la matinée a pu déposer ses bagages dans le garage, ça aussi, c'était très appréciable. Liège regorge de lieux à visiter et de douceurs à déguster . . .

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Alles was dik in orde! Ook de kuisman was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een pluspunt is de televisie (proximus), waarop je alle zenders kan bekijken en kunt inloggen op de telenet-app.
Er is geen lift. Wij verbleven op de 2de verdieping. Je hebt onmiddellijk uw fysieke inspanningen gehad met het naar binnen (en buiten) brengen van de bagage.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Tijdens de Kerstdagen een paar dagen in appartement 2 overnacht. Ruim appartement met gratis parkeergelegenheid voor de deur. Een kwartier lopen naar het centrum.
De verwarming stond uit toen wij kwamen. Het was er erg koud. Terwijl bij vertrek werd gevraagd om de verwarming naar 2 terug te draaien.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt genug kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Die Innenstadt ist in 20 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar.
Leider hat das Badezimmer kein Türschloss, sondern ist nur eine Schiebetür, die man nicht abschließen kann.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025Sehr schöne kleine Wohnung, ruhige Lage am Stadtrand, quasi über den Dächern der Stadt. Entweder gut zu Fuß, oder mit dem Auto zu erreichen, ein Parkplatz war immer verfügbar. Die Innenstadt war in 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
