Établissement vétuste. Très forte odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain , pas propre la climatisation était défectueuse. Repas de qualité moyenne. Pas de climatisation dans la salle de restaurant (il y faisait très très chaud.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026La ubicación cerca al puerto, super recomendable si planeas el viaje a Karimunjawa, ya que los botes salen temprano. Me ayudaron a conseguir los tickets de los botes ya que desde España me fue imposible. El staff súper amable, la habitación era muy amplia, con buen aire acondicionado y buen wifi.
La única pega que le pondría fue el olor que tenía el baño, seguramente por agua estancada, no es un olor para nada agradable.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans ce petit hôtel avant de partir pour les Karimunjawa. Parfait! Propre, bien aménagé avec réfrigérateur, bouilloire, et climatisation, proche du alun-alun et du marché de nuit, ainsi que des commerces. Nous avons d'ailleurs beaucoup aimé Jepara qui reste une ville de passage avant les îles, mais qui mérite un stop un peu plus long. Hôtel à 7 minutes du port en taxi. Du fait de notre départ très tôt, nous avons eu le petit-déjeuner en take-away. Personnel très gentil.
Petite odeur dans la salle de bains mais pour 1 nuit cela ne nous a pas dérangés

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Comodo per una notte di passaggio per andare alle isole Karimunjava. Durante la sera si è bloccata la porta del bagno e lo staff ci ha aiutato ad aprirla.
Zanzare zanzare zanzare che entravano nonostante le porte chiuse. Il bagno puzza di fogna. Quando siamo entrati in camera c’era una confezione di un preservativo aperta e dei fazzoletti che spuntavano sotto al comodino. Abbiamo chiesto di pulire ed il ragazzo è venuto subito. Ho anche visto un simpatico topolino entrare in cucina. Diciamo che per 11€/notte a testa poteva anche andare peggio.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Hotel + ristorante in stile pub inglese dove si mangia davvero benissimo! Le camere sono pulite e confortevoli. La posizione è perfetta per il porto e per fare un po’ di acquisti prima di spostarsi a Karimunjava. Non abbiamo potuto provare la colazione perché avevamo la nave presto ma ci hanno preparato un lunch box da portare via.
Solo un po’ di cattivo odore in bagno

Arrivés assez tard, c’était très pratique de pouvoir dîner dans le restaurant de l’hôtel, qui était plutôt bon. Le lendemain comme nous partions tôt, l’hôtel nous a préparé nos petits déjeuners à emporter ce que nous avons apprécié.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Cute rooms that were clean and had very comfortable beds. A/C worked well & the shower was hot. The staff were kind and helpful. They organized a driver for the morning to get us to the ferry and with all our needs during our stay. We here with our family for 1 night on our way to Karimunjawa and having the pool table was a plus. It is also withing walking distance of a bank, toy store, grocery store and pharmacy. This made it really easy to restock for our boat trip. The food was good with lots of options and the staff made us egg sandwiches for breakfast even though we left for the boat at 5am. Definitely recommend
We rented two rooms and one had a sewer smell from the bathroom drain but the other did not. That was the only thing that was less than perfect and not uncommon in these areas.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Le prix dérisoire pour ce type de logement. Chambres conformes aux attentes ; propres, confortables et bonne climatisation. Pas profité du restaurant car arrivée tardive (22h) mais on nous attendait à l'accueil et nous avons pu boire un rafraichissement. Le petit-déjeuner nous a été donné en format box car nous prenions le bateau tôt le matin. Proche du port de Jepara, environ 10 minutes.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Petit établissement sympathique avec quatre belles et grandes chambres. C’est joliment meublé et très confortable. Central pour se balader à pied et à 5 minutes du port en voiture. Bon petit déjeuner.
La salle d’eau est bien mais la douche est un peu vétuste.

The aircon really didnt work at least in room 32. Other reviewers have commented on this. That together with the fact there was a Stand up fan supplied suggests this is not a new issue.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026La struttura è comoda per la vicinanza al porto per i traghetti per Karimunjawa (meno di 10 minuti di GRAB) ed è vicina a ristoranti e supermercati. La camera era pulita e spaziosa. La colazione viene fatta scegliere all’arrivo ed è varia. Ammirevole tutto il mobilio di legno. Jepara a quanto pare è famosa per la lavorazione del legno.
La doccia purtroppo era completamente intasata e mente mi lavavo l’acqua non defluiva. Ho dovuto lavarmi velocemente e chiedere poi al personale di provvedere a strapparla. A quanto pare era piena di capelli e penso che avrebbero potuto accorgersene durante le pulizie.

El conductor que nos ofrecieron para llevarnos al puerto nos quería cobrar más del doble de lo que nos salía por Grab. El desayuno que nos dieron era un sándwich soso con un huevo dentro y un tranchete de queso. Nos recomendaron ir a la estación una hora antes, totalmente innecesario.

The room and bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026The staff. The lady at the reception (Ririn) is so nice, kind, and helpful. She helped me with the ferry tickets and also with transport options to Semarang. She also provided very helpful information about interesting places to be visited in Jepara. I was so glad that I extended my stay there. The breakfast and the restaurant itself are really great, and you have many options. Very quietful. The mattress is also very good. Very good location. You can go to the city centre just walking (5-10 min), same for the beach (25 min walking). I recommend the Kantini Museum, which is very interesting. I would return here for sure :-)

Kamer is nogal gedateerd en de badkamer heeft een serieus vochtprobleem. Het stinkt heel erg in de badkamer.

Each room has its own wifi router due to wall thickness. Unfortunately our room wifi was not functioning. Connecting to room next door was not workable. Wifi fix should be easy.
