Sourmeli Garden Hotel

Location is great, it’s within walking distance from Fabrika but not right in the middle of the noise and crowds. The room has a nice balcony, and the place has a beautiful garden. Giannis is fantastic; he helped us with everything we needed and gave excellent recommendations.

Consiglio a tutti questa struttura accogliente e ben curata, camere spaziose, giardino curatissimo. Ottima posizione: 10 min a piedi dal centro, 30 metri dalla fermata autobus che porta alle spiagge, 2 min dal supermarket. Giannis e sua moglie sono fantastici, gentilissimi e disponibili, ci hanno sempre dato consigli molto utili e ci hanno aiutato sempre nelle nostre richieste ! La colazione molto buona ! A mio parere non è una struttura da 1 stella, ma decisamente di più !!!

Bagno piccolo ma pulito, posizione buona per chi come noi ha usato l'autobus, le fermate sono vicine !

Úžasní majitelé, kteří nám vždy se vším pomohli. Skvělá lokalita - do 10 minut chůze a jste ve městě. Kousek je supermarket a půjčovna skútrů. Každý den bylo uklizeno. Tiché ubytování, i když jste vedle hlavní silnice.

Friendliest staff ever and good location. Good value for money.

Giannis and his family and staff are super friendly! The location is very near to the city center (6min walk). There is a private parking for the car inside the hotel. The garden is gorgeous.

The forniture is a little old, but confortable. The bathroom is tiny with a little problem of flooding due to the conformation of the shower.

The hotel itself is simple, but his warm welcome and genuine kindness made our stay truly special. We felt like part of a family, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place

Very nice, clean, simple rooms in a convenient location outside the chaos of the town but close enough to reach the main bus station and town with a 10-15 min walk. The owners couldn’t be kinder and it really made a big difference on my last day. I’ll definitely try and rebook next time I’ll be on the island :)

El alojamiento está ubicado cerca del centro y de la parada donde salen todos los buses para a distintas playas. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento, especialmente los dueños del hotel.

Estaba muy cerca del centro, hemos ido a hacer playa en Platis Gialos, es la mejor playa de la isla, El anfitrión es de 10, nos ha hecho sentir como en casa, el desayuno de 10, tiene muchísimas variedades. Gracias Giannis

El hecho de que no hay acera, y cubos de basura en las calles de Mikonos, sientes un disconfort total .

Yiannis e Erasmia sono semplicemente fantastici ti accolgono come se fossi parte di una famiglia e ti mettono sin dà subito a tuo agio...mi hanno consigliato benissimo su luoghi cibi e negozi e poi fanno una colazione tradizionale che é strepitosa servita nel loro giardino FANTASTICO L'hotel é in una zona tranquilla ma a 5 Min a piedi dalla città di Mykonos e ha un market tabaccheria a 50 MT di distanza

Particularly the staff was very kind. And also particularly I liked it very much that it was quiet. This is not easy on the party island of Mykonos. Though no breakfast was provided, there is a supermarket in just 2 minutes distance. The city itself is in 10 minutes walk, but this is not bad, as I could see part of the countryside, and I went there to see the architecture praised by Le Corbusier. The architectural experience is very dense and I should have stayed longer, to enjoy also the beaches. There is a bus station for Paradise beach close to the hotel. All this info I had from the very kind hotel staff. They were also very prompt in ordering taxis. The building is also typical for Mykonos and every room has a sitting place outside. Because I cought strong wind, I could not enjoy it as I would have liked. My room was on the ground floor. It is cool inside and I did not need air conditioning (in July-August).

Sourmeli Garden Hotel is delightful, convenient and comfortable, while also being inexpensive and great value. Giannis (the hotel owner) is friendly, welcoming and gives great recommendations on where to go; the hotel is just minutes walk from Fabrika bus station and the centre of town, and it is even possible to walk to the airport if you are travelling light. The hotel has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, and our room came with a cute balcony where you could sit and watch the day go by or enjoy a drink. On the air conditioning fee - you only have to pay if you leave it on while you are out. Really, this just makes sense, and the air conditioning made our days comfortable. My friend and I felt right at home, and we would definitely stay here again!

Yiannis was an incredibly friendly host and gave great recommendations for the island! The location is very close to the Old Town and the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, and was spacious enough for 5 people.

La struttura si trova a pochi minuti dal centro, i gestori sono degli angeli, super disponibili e pronti per ogni richiesta, la stanza è carina e sopratutto pulitissima, ci ritornerei altre 1000 volte.

We loved our stay at Sourmeli Garden, we were greeted by Dimitris who was very welcoming and later we met all the owners who were lovely and caring during our entire stay. Thank you so much to Yannis, the b&b owner, who made us breakfast nearly every day and made us feel welcome and pampered. The whole stay was great and it's amazing value for money. Rooms are spotless, the lady who came every day to clean was great! I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quiet b&b very close to town and run by great/friendly people. Decent location outside of city centre (fabrica). About a 15min walk. Giannis is an amazing host and very down to earth. He shows a lot of care to his customers and you can tell he really loves what he does.

The only thing is the shower situation. No shower curtains so water gets everywhere. It does dry quickly though!

Molto vicino al centro, camera spaziosa e pulita. Camera sistemata tutti i giorni e asciugamani cambiati senza problemi se richiesto. Personale veramente gentile, i due host sono adorabili.

Unica pecca è che non c’è lo stendino in camera, anche se richiesto non ci è stato fornito. Però ci è stata data la possibilità di stendere i panni bagnati nel cortile dell’alloggio.

Very lovely staff, clean place, good location to town

Gioannis, il proprietario, è gentilissimo. E anche sua moglie e suo figlio! Ci hanno accolto oltre l’orario di check-in, ci hanno offerto da bere e ci hanno chiamato il taxi per il ritorno. La struttura è bella, semplice e pulita. Il centro è a 10 minuti a piedi, lì si trova la principale fermata degli autobus che conduce praticamente dappertutto.

A volte gli altri ospiti non gradivano un po’ di musica al pomeriggio, ricordatevi che siamo a Mykonos non a Lourdes.

L'accueil de Giannis et son épouse, des gens charmants qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement, toujours disponibles si nous avions des questions à poser. Le déjeuner était excellent et complet et la chambre très propre. L'endroit est calme et fleuri pas trop loin du centre. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Tudo é extremamente magnífico, fui muito bem recebida pelo filho do proprietário e depois o dono também foi extremamente acolhedor, me senti muito bem e em casa, eles tem limpeza no local praticamente todos os dias, o proprietário me preparava um café maravilhoso, muito próximo ao centro, ia e voltava andando os 5 dias que fiquei, ao lado do aeroporto também

The owner was really nice, treated us super well, explained the main spots on the island and gave some good advice on fair price and good quality restaurants. The room is nice, and the hotel is really close to the downtown (15 minutes walk). As we were close to downtown we were able to expkore the main spots using public transportation which reduced a lot out expenses (2 euro per trip).

The shower is a little bit small, but nothing to worry about. And be aware that you need to pay a daily fee to use the A/C.

Krásny areál, čistá izba, upratovanie počas každého dňa, veľmi milý personál, starostlivý, vyhovel všetkým požiadavkám, dokonca zanechal aj malý darček. Odporúčam každému kto hľadá pekné ubytovanie za prijateľnú cenu v blízkosti centra mesta, kde nie je počuť nočný ruch.

Could not say enough good about our stay at Sourmeli. Yiannis and Erasmia were incredible hosts (a family run hotel). We were greeted with smiles every morning and given a warm welcome on arrival. They were engaging, kind, the staff as a whole made the experience exponentially more special. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Mykonos. A short walk into town, right by the bus stop, clean rooms, wifi, breakfast, the list goes on. Thank you so much for everything!

Not one thing to dislike in our stay

Es war sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel. Nicht weit weg von Altstadt ca 7-8 Minuten Zufuss entfernt. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit auf alle Fragen zu antworten.

El hotel está atendido por los dueños que son una familia maravillosa, muy hospitalaria que hacen que tus vacaciones sean especiales. La limpieza de diez, también consumí su desayuno, como en casa. Se puede llegar al centro caminando y frente al hotel paran los ómnibus que te llevan a las playas. Hay un supermercado a 200 metros.donde podes comprar lo que necesites. Excelente relación precio y servicio. Estoy muy feliz de haberme hospedado en el Sourmeli Garden Hotel. Gracias a toda la familia, los recordaré siempre con mucho afecto.

The place was amazing! Very clean, very nice room with bathroom! Cheapest in Mykonos I could find. Yannis the owner was so lovely. It was a hot day and when I arrived he gave me a large bottle of cold water. Extremely helpful with local knowledge, buses, beaches etc... The room was serviced daily. Couldn't believe what I got for the price I paid. No wonder it's a popular hotel.
