La atención es excelente, los alimentos muy ricos, solo que el agua de la alberca estaba fría y no pudimos meternos pero en general todo muy bien sin duda vamos a regresar

Había objetos personales del huésped anterior en la regadera, la misma no tiene un sardinel o limitante por lo mismo es fácil que el agua de la regadera se salga hacia el baño, la limpieza dela alberca deja que desear tanto así que no quisimos meternos, diría que el servicio es regular, creo que si mejoraran la limpieza sería una opción a considerar en una estancia futura

Very friendly place took my fiance there for a romantic night out call them in advance do you give me a bottle of wine fix the room with rose petals for a little extra charge also if you do not want to go use the buffet you could always ask for room service they charge a little extra but it's awesome to have breakfast in bed

Es un hotel "agradable" Y bueno dentro de lo que ofrece Calvillo. Los sábados y domingos tiene en el. Restaurat servicio de comida el cual es altamente recomebdable, platillos deliciosos de alta cocina y bien servidos.

Our group stayed here while we performed our Lions Club mission trip. Very friendly and efficient staff. It is clean and modern. There are gardens and several nice cats. Its an easy walk into town and eateries.

Customer service is great. All employees from front desk to room service were friendly and receiving. The room was pleasant, comfortable, simple and spacious. Had all basic and necessary amenities. Needs a bit of work in fixing a few and small details around the room. The outside gardens are gorgeous, with beautiful flowers and comfortable chairs to sit down and enjoy the peace, the main garden has great shades and a fire pit. They are aware of the safety of the place they have hand sanitizing all over the hotel. They are welcoming and receiving, modern and open. Overall, a great place to stay because of the commodity, safety and relaxing atmosphere they provide.

My stay at Hotel Gloria was great! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and The location was convenient. I loved the atmosphere of the place. I don’t know if this was on accident but every night I was there a fountain would come on that was outside my window and the water noise was relaxing; I loved it! Well kept and I enjoyed the landscape at night.

Buenas instalaciones, solo los baños un poco incómodos por la estructura de aluminio que está muy bajita

La limpieza es pésima nos dieron una cama sucia y tuvimos que pedir el cambio de ropa de cama, el lugar para colocar la ropa es INCOMODO y mal diseñado, los apagadores de la luz del baño mal echas y no se encienden de forma lógica. los canceles de sanitario y regadera dan la apariencia de baños públicos. Lo único que los salva es el servicio de restaurante la comida es buena PERO solo da servicio en el desayuno.

Hotel la Gloria is hands down the best most affordable hotel in Calvillo. This is my fourth stay there and it’s apparent the owners strive hard to make constant improvements. Their restaurant now rivals any high end hotel out there.

Very clean, employees were friendly and wanted to help all the time. The only problem was the parking space not enough had to park most of the time in back of the hotel in a separate lot. Other than that would come back and do recommend this hotel.

This is a reasonably-priced hotel on the outskirts of Calvillo. But that's not the reason to stay here. You get more valuable things that money just can't buy. The owners are on-site, which makes a huge difference in any business. Pride in their town, pride in their hotel shine through. They speak English as do some of the staff. These people will do anything for you to make your stay more rewarding and pleasant. They are well-versed in the attractions of Calvillo and if you are interested, will take the time to direct you to them. They do more than hand you a map and a smile. They care that you have a good time and get to know their town. The rooms are spacious and everything works. A/C / heat effective. There are USB charging ports built into the wall over the desk. The Wifi is decent and they have 3 range extenders on the property. The beds are good and have box springs, which not all hotels do. The rooms in the back, on the left side of the office are quietest, but there will be some highway noise. That is inevitable these days. Nevertheless, they should be quieter than the ones by the pool. The best thing for you to do, if noise bothers you, is to ask to see a couple of rooms and make your own decision. I was happy in the back and I am picky. There is a small restaurant, currently open only for breakfast. The food was hot, well-prepared and at a fair price. The coffee was stronger than average, though still mild. The staff is attentive and if you lack for anything, just ask.

It was an ok stay and hotel, it’s an older building and can use upgrades. The windows are a bit thin and lots of vehicle traffic can be heard since the hotel is on a main highway. Also, the beds are a little stiff as the mattress sits on concrete slabs. The toilet seats move when being used and are thin. I had them change my room to see if others where the same. They where kind enough to accommodate but both rooms where the same but second one was lots bigger. Overall it’s a great place to stay for a few days but not for a weeks stay or longer. The restaurant food is delicious, but, they state they open at 7am and when I arrived at 7all they had was sweet bread. The bread was delicious and coffee is also good local coffee. A 15 minute taxi ride will get you to the plaza which has many great places to eat and lots of shopping.

Las camas las sentí incómodas, un poco de ruido por la avenida que pasa enfrente. Excelente atención del personal con una extraordinaria actitud de servicio. Habitaciones bastante amplias. El servicio en el comedor es también excelente. Si volvería y si lo recomiendo.

El hotel no esta cerca del centro, no se puede llegar caminando si quisiera, la carretera no es adecuada para caminar. Servicio muy bueno, las habitaciones filtran mucho los ruidos, se oyen los camiones pasar toda la noche

Lo único que vale la pena de este hotel es la atención del personal y el restaurante muy rico!!. Para lo que cuesta debería ofrecer más. El agua tanto en la alberca como en la regadera fría en extremo. Qué lástima, solo por eso quisimos pasar el fin de semana ahí, para nadar y pasarla bien pero no se puede, esa alberca está de adorno porque casi nadie se anima a meterse por lo frío del agua. La cama no es muy cómoda, la televisión no sirve, el teléfono en la habitación tampoco funciona, si necesitábamos algo había que salir y pedirlo. La limpieza también deja que desear .

Cuando llegué no tenían la habitación que reservamos. Me dieron a cambio un desayuno gratis, sin embargo no fue agradable que me avisaran hasta que llegamos que el hidromasaje no servía.

considero que el hotel es bueno, pero la relación costo-beneficio no es adecuada. El costo es elevado. Por otro lado cuando se contrató por EXPEDIA el desayuno iba incluido. Pero a la hora de pedirlo no sabían cómo resolverlo en el hotel y nos dieron solamente café, fruta y un pan.

I requested a room with 1 large bed and AC Got 2 beds no ac bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable there was no hot water the 1rst night until I told the front staff finally we had hot water but only like 3 little squirts would come out and one of them would shoot out to the toilet and wet it Toilet would have a hard time flushing over all I would Never stay here again friendly people but horrible rooms

So far Gloria hotel has been the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They don't clean the rooms until 4:00pm and they don't even en do a good cleaning. A lot of bugs specially spiders. If u can't ice you have to pay for it its not like other hotels where u could get it for free in an ice machine also when you reserve it tells you free breakfast but when you get there they tell you no it's an additional fee. Also when we got our room they didn't have an AC so we don't them and they said oh that's an and additional fee if u guys want AC. AND I spoke to a manager and he said ya only some rooms have AC and you have to pay extra for that service. Also it's always raining over there so the electricity would always go out. No hot warm to take a shower. Also you have to be asking for toilet paper because they don't even give you that....

As soon as you drive in to the parking lot the staff is ready to greet you at the front desk, regardless of the time. Very professional at all times. The rooms were always clean and comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. If I had to say anything negative, I would have to point out that there is nothing in walking distance to see and the mattresses are hard. The staff helped me out with my stay by ordering me a car for the plaza and the airport, they were willing to take us anywhere, and the driver is very courteous. I would definitely stay there again with family and friends. Thank you Hotel Gloria for making our trip a great and relaxing trip.

The pool was very dirty it shows breakfast is available and there was nothing that I had seen. The room had no phone. The people were nice tho.

The hotel had everything it said on the website, the owners were very nice to the guests and the rooms were very spacious and clean. Five minutes away from the city center by car. The breakfast offered at the hotel was really good, mostly typical food but delicious!

This was my second stay in about three years and the high level of quality remained consistent. All changes have been positive. The owners continue to be very innovative. My stay was for two weeks and I have no reason to look elsewhere the next time I am in Calvillo.

We fell in love with the very beautiful town of Calvillo and the Hotel Gloria! The hotel has plenty of rooms and all rooms are a good size and very comfortable. We stayed in the Royal Suite and rate it 10/10. The venue is clean and very well maintained with lovely gardens. The pool is very nice on a hot day! The owners are very professional and speak very good English. We also booked the venue for our wedding and 50 guests. We booked the garden/pool area and the function room for the evening dinner and party. Excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent hotel.

During our stay the staff was very attentive and provide options for local attractions. Management was setting up a barbecue area next to the pool to celebrate a family event. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay.

The room was private, the People were so friendly, and having complimentary water bottles and breakfast/coffee available was very nice. The bed was very uncomfortable, I felt the shower could have been cleaner, and a coffee maker/microwave in the room would have been nice. But overall it wasn't bad.

Stayed here jan 16-20.I was visiting a friend who works for me in the summer in canada.hotel is very clean and the staff are nice.only used the hotel for sleep as my mexican friend kept me busy for the 4 days.pool is beautiful but it was a cold time of year and I wasn't there during the day.rooms are spacious with huge showers and all in all I was impressed.I only paid 600 pesos and you get breakfast.calvillo is real mexico,lakes,ranches, guava fields,nice sunny weather,great eats and a ton of cowboys.I wouldn't stay anywhere else the next time I go back.

I spent six days at La Gloria after 15 years from my last visit to Calvillo. This hotel has definitely been kept up. Fresh paint everywhere. Nice pool area and a Jacuzzi bath in the room which I didn't expect. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The double beds were just average but I seemed to sleep fine and I'm never a good sleeper. Every person employed there were extremely nice and accommodating. I was actually a little sad to leave them. There is a complimentary breakfast in the upstairs restaurant which was great! I expected the usual continental style meal but no... I had fruit and a full hot Mexican breakfast cooked to my liking. Bravo! For dinner there is an excellent restaurant 5 just five minutes away walking called Las Troncas. The downside of La Gloria is its proximity to Calvillo, however taxis are abundant and for 10 pesos it can't be beat. While I didn't watch much TV, the screen was very small for such a spacious room. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Gloria! It is a hotel very well managed.

Over priced for poor plumbing fixtures, bathroom drain backed up and torn towels. Wifi ok. Bed comfortable. Lots of road noise. It is the only one in town so I would recommend staying in a different town.
