Very good experience
Room was lovely enjoyed our stay
Great room. Plenty of sockets. Breakfast was good.
Good price, very clean and excellent service. Will come again and highly recommend.
Lovely stay, bit iffy with sat nav getting us there . But lovely service, from reception room so comfortable . and great service at breakfast and hot breakfast delicious . Definately recommend
Very nice place.
Fantastic hotel, great staff all through all areas reception, bar, restaurant etc. But check what ingredients are in the food! I asked for tuna on the pizza and it was actually tuna mayonnaise?? Rooms are nice, clean amd comfortable but if you have a noisey neighbour upstairs unlucky.
Amazing place.
Stayed here as a half way point between Glasgow and London and was a great find. Staff all really helpful, lovely food at restaurant, easy parking and great room.
The reception staff were amazing! The rooms were clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Will definitely stay here again
The hotel is really nice, the only drawback was there is no air-conditioning and no fans in the room, I did stay on probably the hottest day of the year, opening the window only gave loud traffic noise. Overall the hotel is very clean and well presented.
Great stay
Good
Nice and peaceful place, there was a wedding on but didnt spoil our stay Breakfast was good value as well
Comfortable clean quiet room
Excellent check in..Room spacious. Nice touch with the biscuits. Room was to warm, even with window open. Staff very friendly and helpful
Excellent stay indeed, comfortable rooms, great nights sleep, food is fantastic, both nights it was delicious compliments to the Chef & team
Just off motorway easy access for car users.
Had a goid stay, but with very hot weather, fans were limited. Definitely need investing in a fan for every room
Always great, never disappointed when I stay here. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, evening meal also good. Love this hotel
Had a great stay at the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel recently. It’s a really convenient base if you’re visiting the North West – just off the motorway, with plenty of parking and easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially for a three-star hotel, and everything was kept to a high standard throughout my four-night stay. There were a few minor hiccups – I’d booked a king bed but, like many hotels, it was two singles joined together. Normally this comes with a topper to smooth out the join, but unfortunately not this time, and the mattress felt like it had seen better days. That said, it still did the job. There wasn’t an ironing board in the room, but one was quickly sorted by the helpful cleaning staff. Worth noting that the slip road off the motorway is full of potholes – not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very positive, and I’d definitely stay here again.
Very clean comfortable room and lovely breakfast
Comfy quiet room, restaurant staff were lovely and service was quick. Breakfast was great and all in all a very stress free overnight stay.
Lovely hotel , lovely staff, lovely food. Really enjoyed my over night stay here and reception staff both day and night were so friendly and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again
The staff were lovely, informative and very helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant and chose fish and chips. The fish was crispy and the chips were good quality. The room was large comfortable and clean
Easy to find, good car parking and friendly staff. Our double room was very dusty, and tired loooking, in need of a good spring clean and a lick of paint. We stayed 2 nights and had we known how small the bathroom was, we'd have gone for a suite. Two people cannot be in it at the same time. The bath towels were awful, old and rough but handy for exfoliating your skin! On the plus side it was a comfy bed and pillows with clean soft sheets. We ate at the restaurant, and had the garlic mushrooms and tart starters. Followed by salmon and tuna mains. All were tasty and would recommend them.
Another fantastic stay at the Lancashire manor. Came for the grand national. Lovely, clean and great staff.
Amazing staff..
Hotel is very nice, room was comfortable and basic. Lounge bar area was sparse and needs updating to give a more welcome feel like a pub rather than a waiting room.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling. Good shower! Breakfast was delicious and they even provided gluten free toast
Quiet, comfy & clean. Great service. A lovely hotel.
Don't be put off by the fact that it's on an industrial estate! Excellent service, happy and efficient staff, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. The grounds outside have been cleverly landscaped to disguise what's beyond.
The hotel was lovely, staff very helpfull and friendly, the room was great we went for family 50th wedding anniversary will visit again
Quiet, spacios rooms, convenient location
A great hotel!
Great, comfy quiet place to stay whilst visiting family in liverpool, very reasonably priced. Breakfast extra 13 per head per day was absolutely delicious. Service was fab too.
Great stay..room a little hot but overall a great time
Nice hotel, friemdly staff.
The Hotel is warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. The food is excellent and great value too.a The staff are very freindly and helpful. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone
Absolutely fantastic
Had a nice overnight stay. Comfortable room. Beware the bar in the shower if you're tall - you'll know what I mean when you encounter it. Breakfast was good but some items a bit undercooked for our taste. Overall a pleasant stay. Would use again.
Absolutely love this hotel it’s my 5th stay here. Staff are friendly. Rooms are lovely & clean and are a high standard. Beds are comfortable as are the pillows. Had dinner there one evening. Can highly recommend the Cod & Chorizo Fish cake if it’s on the menu. This is always my choice of hotel when visiting the area.
Nice hotel, close to motorway.
This is my 5th time of staying here. Absolutely love the property and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Melanie she is a gem. Thank you for your help & going above and beyond your duties. You are a credit to the hotel x
Decent hotel and bar menu. Room lovely. Good size. In the middle of an industrial estate so once you're "in" it's an effort to go out again.
Out of town business estate, convenient for motorway . Good choice of evening meal, easy to park. Friendly staff.Awelcome night stop on a long journey.
Hotel was convenient for my needs however situated on an industrial estate
Spent time at this property before! So always nice to visit back when in the area.
Brilliant all staff great.
Lovely clean hotel with fantastic staff. Also the bedroom and bed was very comfortable. The bar cosy and would certainly stay again on my next trip to Scotland.
Hotel lovely and very clean. Restaurant not fantastic for evening meal, tad over cooked, think they could do with less choice so they can do what they do better, just a thought. Venue and staff fab though.
Great hotel.
All good apart from the area.
So we have history with this hotel, are used to say that all the time and probably hated majority of stays. but time moves on and so does what I want for hotel so basically it’s different now than it was for five years ago itself is functional but large rooms the beds are divinely comfortable TV et cetera are all good so from the room point of view 10 out of 10 is the bar area is shabby, old-fashioned , without being quaint. And the choice at the bar is pitiful. I understand that some people inexplicably like lager that’s okay but not six sort of lager. It’s all the same . That wouldn’t have been so bad if there was a few real Ale, a few credible draft bitters but there’s nothing. this is becoming more of a problem as I wanted to spend the evening in the bar with a couple of beers and chill out. I couldn’t. the whole experience for me was subpar for a decent bar. As a disabled person the access is really easy. The staff were very helpful but not too helpful. The breakfast I missed because it’s too much to eat and it’s £12 or so too expensive. The meals were okay, I suppose but I didn’t eat them because I’m a vegan and there was no vegan options. I could see other than the veggie burger. In summary nice place to stay and sleep only, but for a meal and a bit of ambience, poor.
My Bathroom had a flying ant infestation. I did move rooms, buts hassle after a long day & drive
The staff are outstanding, the food menu great quality, variety of choices with lots of healthy options
Our suite was large with 2 baths, everything was lovely!
A very clean and welcoming Best Western hotel. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Very nice to lace to stay
The bed was extemely uncomfortable, we were put in a room that yhe heating was on full blast and couldnt turn off, there was a factory across the roaf and the fans were going all night and we couldnt sleep. The food was awful, the chips were soggy , the bacon was rock hard
Public areas nice. Staff very friendly. Location in middle of industrial estate disappointing. Room decor disappointing. Food very disappointing.
Stay here at least once a month. Round the corner from a vast business estate. Good size rooms, comfy bed, hot showers and clean. Some rooms much nicer than others, I’ve stayed in a few!
A listed building providing facilities for functions. Some bedrooms are in the original building with old beams etc. Other bedrooms are located in adjoining annexe building. We had a mini suite which was spacious, had a large double bed, sofa, table with 2 arm chairs. Ensuite walk in shower, wc etc. Lighting was a bit gloomy but the room was very comfortable. Good dining options, buffet breakfast was very good with hit and cold choices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking in the hotel grounds. Gardens were pleasantly maintained.
Last minute booking. Enjoyed our stay. Hospitality was great, friendly atmosphere, good sleep, breakfast and dinner was great. Wouldn stay again. Thank you.
Great building & location, very clean & helpful staff
It was a lovely hotel , food excellent
Lovely hotel, staff pleasant no real issues other than pointing out an ill fitting carpet in room 83 not professionally fitted as curled at edges really let the room down. Food excellent but a tad pricey. The room rate @ £102 for one night also excessive.
Nice and friendly hotel handy for rugby and football
We enjoyed our recent two night stay while visiting family. The hotel is very nice. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. It's situated just off the M58 about 5 mins from the M6, on the edge of an industrial estate with no local amenities within walking distance. The bar area is good with a well stocked bar and a good selection of bar snacks. We would have given a 5* review if the second night hadn't been spoilt by other guests shouting, banging doors and throwing things between 2:30 and 4am.
Bar area smells like sewage. No hot water from shower. Pee on toilet rim. I wouldn’t stay here again. Also no clean tables at breakfast
Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff.
The staff are this hotels biggest asset. Everyone we came into contact with, in every deoartment, were all helpful, smilling, willing, hearing and reactive instantly when an issue was raised. I.e. no USB ports, they charged our phone while we had breakfast. A hairdryer dud not work, a replacement was delivered in minutes. Food was delicious. The breakfast is excellent value for money, all you can eat, hot cold buffet. Hot drinks and toast brought to your table. Ideal link to motorways in the area. The great hall is amazing. Down side is minor. The aporoach to this 1790 building is through an industrial estate. Nit tgat you notice noise etc once in the building.
Great property and unique. Large room well equipped and comfortable. Bathroom was a little tired and needed a little tlc. We would stay again. Great welcoming staff.
Absolutely beautiful venue. Friendly staff and excellent food and service. We asked for a quiet room which they provided. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only watch out is that rooms further away from reception suffer with poor wifi
Lovely Hotel Friendly staff
It’s a great hotel, but so noisy. The walls thin, so other guests talking could be heard & the water system so loud, constantly woken up through the night.I’m a best western member but won’t stay at this location again
Very clean and great staff
Very clean quiet property. Staff very friendly.
The room was easy to get around even with a wheelchair
Lovely and quiet. Easy to find, with lots of signs.Comfy bed, friendly staff. Only downside was the extractor fan in the bathroom not very efficient so took a long time for condensation to go after a shower. Would stay again if in the area.
Lovely hotel, very relaxing. Staff are great. Really difficult to find, sat navs don’t like it. Search for “Prospect Place” to stand a chance!
Tidy room, a touch worn out. Shower hot and powerful. The overhead shower-head doesn't move, so my 6"4 height meant I had to crouch to have a shower. Minor thing! Staff very friendly. Didn't dine for breakfast or dinner so couldn't comment.
Hotel was fantastic, room was clean and comfortable. Only had one night so didn't get to dine or anything but all looked really nice. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was location in middle of an industrial area.
Very friendly clean and comfortable
Great place to stay, a little out of town.
Couple of nights whilst visiting summer strum festival at nearby Rainford - brilliant weekend and very comfortable place to stay . There was a wedding at the hotel - this didn’t disturb us , enjoyed a meal in the restaurant first evening and time in the bar - staff good, very comfortable .
Lovely hotel although in strange location as it is in the middle of business park so there are no food & beverage outlets nearby. However the hotel has a reasonable restaurant. The room was decent size and comfortable.
A very pleasant stay hotel staff very friendly and helpful smart dressed, very quiet surround, our room was very good one or two dust patches but otherwise a very good stay
Garden very nice and patio area
Lovely to look at in older parts of the buildings. But due to their heating system you could not turn off heated towel rail in bathroom, so the room was always far to hot.
Lovely motel, good food, relatively quiet. Handy to train station. Strange location - industrialised area.
A Hidden Gem, a really nice and well maintained Hotel
Lovely hotel boyh inside and its outside garden. Staff really excellent bar restaurant and reception. But oh dear the surrounding industrial units and approach to the hotel a total disaster- even with my satnav I took three circuits before i found the entrance. One inside the drive faultless.
Overall great experience with great service at breakfast with freshly made breakfast. Very happy
A good hotel with friendly staff and good amenities. I will certainly stay again if I am visiting the areas
Great hotel, no complaints
Gym poor very poor
I don’t tend to stay in Best Western Hotels due to previous experiences of tired and outdated premises. The Manor House was convenient for my visit and while the location isn’t the most picturesque I can’t fault anything else. The staff were friendly, happy and helpful and the food in the bar was delicious. I would recommend a stay here
From a warm welcome at reception to the help from the bar attendant and waiter, the service was superb. The main areas were decorated for Christmas and well kept. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a bar snack and the breakfast buffet. Nothing special but good food. The only thing that would have made the stay better would be an additional bedside cabinet and a film channel.
