Bell 2 Lodge

Bell II was Clean, Quiet (almost too quiet) and charming. It was so dark and quiet that I woke in the middle of the night that I opened the blinds to let moonlight into the room. Outside the moonlight revealed a scene where not a creature was stirring.

No internet, no tv, dining hours restrictive. The Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch, unfortunately it did not work properly. At check out I told the staff of the machine not working and they made me latte to compensate.

I would stay here again without a doubt. Good people, helpful, and kind. Beds were perfect. Bathroom was beautiful. Lots of power outlets. Desk, new lighting, and nightstands by both beds. I am a sheet snob. They exceeded my expectations. Clean and comfortable with different choices of pillows. Definitely geared more towards helicopter skiing in winter time. But cabins are welcoming and nice. Best place to stay on the Cassiar hwy 37.

The room had not been vacuumed completely. Garbage was not emptied. But the room still felt clean. Coffee pot was not cleaned and i chose not to use it. Instead I bought coffee at their cafe. That coffee was weak and not great. However, this place is a destination and an experience. None of these issues would affect my decision to return. You cant drive the cassiar without staying at bell ii.

Right on the highway, gas station plenty of parking.

Mosquitoes, lots of them. They do not turn on lots of things in summer, like, fire place, hot tub…

Great place to stop, comfortable, easy!

Bardzo piękne pokoje, pięknie urządzone, stylowe i funkcjonalne. Bardzo czysto. Bardzo dobre śniadanie, pyszna kawa. Super miła obsługa. Fantastyczne miejsce aby się zatrzymać zarówno na chwilę w długiej podróży jak i na dłużej aby nacieszyć się unikalną przyrodą.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were new, and the coffee was excellent.

The weather was very cold, there was no heating in the carpets, and the room was hard to warm up. The cleanliness was average; the table hadn’t been wiped at all and was really in bad condition.

Although expensive the Lodge was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful spot along the Stewart Cassiar highway.

If you like mountain scenery, lakes, rivers, wild country, dark skies and remoteness, the location is second to none. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. The facility's design and construction couldn't be better. Bell 2 has a gas station, store with beer and seltzer, a cafe/restaurant, gym, hot tub and gift store.

It doesn't have many faults. The cabin we stayed in only had a shower and the wi-fi didn't work with our 5g Android phones.

Nothing to report

After a long trip,raining and cool. Couldn't sight see or spend time outside. No tub only shower. Hot tub and sauna closed for season. Food was mediocre and expensive. No tvs in rooms. Only wifi and 1 chair in cabin. Dont stream movies. Excellent staff. Beautiful surroundings.

An excellent place to stay when travelling on BC Highway 37.

The accommodations were luxurious considering how remote the location is. They don’t disappoint.

This was convienently located as a stop when traveling south from Whitehorse, but was much more than I expected. Fuel, good food, and a nice quiet room.

The rooms and buildings are beautiful, solidly built and well appointed with large comfortable beds, a nice large bathroom and very good coffee. The food and coffee in the office / store is also very good.

I do think that a stay here is a bit pricey. Everything else is great!

It’s a beautiful area and the rooms are great

Great lighting in the accommodation - this is often an issue with terrible lighting (not great when trying to put on makeup in the morning!). Bathroom was great. Beds were very comfortable. Lot's of seating (also another issue in many hotels).

No fridge. Expensive breakfast option.

We had stayed here a few years ago and things either had become a lot plusher or we got a far nicer room.

The cabin was very nice. Great Nespresso coffee in the room. We had dinner, which was basic and fine. It would have been nice if the restaurant was open a little later. A 5:30 closing is a bit early.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, which they did warn us about, also the limited hours for food was unfortunate everyone was scrambling to get food at 5:15 pm

Ruime kamer, goede bedden

In de douche waren 2 van de 3 dispenser leeg. Je hebt geen mogelijkheden iets warm te maken op je kamer, het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant is 250 km verderop en dan gaat het restaurantje om 17.30 uur dicht daar moet je dus goed rekening mee houden. Er zijn 6 burgers en 2 salades waaruit je kunt kiezen. Dan kan het toch niet zo zijn dat je zelfs die salades niet hebt. Alles bij elkaar onprofessioneel en niet passend bij de uitstraling die ze willen hebben.

Great Place, Would Stay There again.

Rien pour le souper à part le casse croûte qui ferme à 17:15 et disons que la jeune femme qui nous l’a dit avait sa journée dans le corps, assez direct! Dommage que la salle à dîner où est servie le déjeuner ne soit pas ouvert, déjeuner qui etait excellent !

Very nice property, but in the summer months the hot tub and sauna are closed, so the $270 a night seems steep for just a bed. Rooms are quite nice and the bed is very comfortable. The cafe does have the best breakfast burrito I have ever had in my life! There is a breakfast buffet from 6-7am but it costs $29 a head which also seems a bit steep. Surprisingly, gasoline was cheaper here than in The southern parts of BC

Stayed there in summer, their "off-season". Isolated location. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, great service. Good food, but very limited food options. Limited speed wifi, no cell service. Only a good coffee/tea machine in the room. Gas bar has diesel and regular only.

A wonderful and restful stop for the night on our road trip through Canada to Alaska. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was great! We'd happily stop here again.

Utrolig koselig sted med alt du trenger! Store, moderne rom i fine hytter. Personalet er hyggelige, og du får tak i det viktigste i resepsjonen. Kult sted midt i ødemarka! Wifi-nettverket fungerer bra, noe vi satte pris på da det er null dekning på en 11 timers strekning.

This place is truly in the middle of nowhere,I think they generate their own electric and water. Everything was immaculate. Many nice flowers ! They provide WIFI for you. A very spacious room with a great bed to sleep in. .

The hot tub is only open in the winter time. I would have enjoyed that!

A beautiful lodge in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful set-up, very friendly staff, cozy chalets and all what you can think off. (Glas showers, underfloor heating, extra large rooms), Will stay there again for sure.

Beaux chalets en rondins au milieu de la nature. La chambre était très spacieuse, très propre et bien confortable. On a reçu un accueil très sympathique ; après une longue route, on a vraiment apprécié.

Il manque un frigidaire dans la chambre. Il est regrettable que le sauna et le jacuzzi ne soient pas disponibles en ce début de saison.

Excellent room except for temp. Very cold upon arrival and took a long time to warm up.

Their restaurant closes at 5:30pm. There is only limit supply of sandwiches in store. They do not allow guests preparing food outside and there is no microwave and fridge in room. I would recommend people to conskider these before booking in this hotel. However, the room is clean and comfort. If they can improve the provision of dinner, it would be an excellent motel in my trip.

Das Zimmer war aussergewöhnlich schön und konfortable. Die Lodge war weg von der Zivilisation und sehr ruhig. Erholung pur. Wer will könnte dort essen. Wir kamen spät und hatten eine sehr feine Suppe. Das Personal sehr freundlich.

The sauna, hot tub and room fireplace not available. Lack of a trail system. It would be nice to have a trail to the nearby lake.

We absolutely loved our experience at Bell II Lodge! We were greeted as we arrived and checked in. The soup and sandwiches from the cafe were delicious. Everything about the cabin room was perfect and tastefully decorated. We wish we had planned another night there! While we didn’t have breakfast there we did have coffee from the cafe. We are already thinking about our next trip to British Columbia and staying at Bell II Lodge.

The room had covered all the details defogging mirrors, lights everywhere, glass shower enclosure so the shower is not dark, hot water and good shower pressure.

An extra chair on the deck would be nice.

Food. Ridiculously limited hours in restaurant. Cafe not really a cafe. You are 200 plus km from a restaurant or a grocery store. Need to do better.

This place is amazing. The area is beautiful and the cabin we stayed in “Eagle” was equally as lovely. A very clean and comfortable stay.

Very cool place stay. Everyone very friendly and accommodating, the only thing I would change is maybe having a TV in the rooms for us city folk and keep the hot tub running year round. But to each is own, overall excel stay.

It was off the main road. The room is large. The bathroom is nice.

There is nothing else around. When you get here: you are here. There are no restaurants. No TV. If you like swarms of bugs, you can go for a walk. The building our room in is very spartan, which by itself isn’t bad. The construction quality, however, did not include soundproofing. We are listening to the couple above us talk and they have a toddler. He runs or cries. Hopefully they’ll all go to bed early. And not be up at daybreak.

Beautiful setting, rooms were very nice. In the summer, there’s no real dinner just some fast food items but I guess that’s to be expected. It’s kind of off-season. The grounds are beautiful..

This is a really great hotel. On my way from Seattle to Anckorage. This place even has heated floors in the bathroom. Definitely worth a stop overnight.

Very nice staff. Restaurant closed at 4 so we were left with soup and premade sandwiches for dinner and no options for breakfast except buffet.

Beautiful location, a perfect, restful stop along the Cassiar Highway.

The cabin was immaculate and we felt comfortable immediately. The staff were amazing and very helpful - even filling a low tire for us!! The scenery was breath taking; the lights at night made it feel magical. Our stay was not very long (only one night) but we enjoyed our time very much and look forward to visiting again in the future!!

This was a world class night in the northern BC mountians ! Very nice cabins great layout. Stunningly beautiful !
