The position and the actual resort are lovely.

The staff / management is inflexible. We were the only guests staying there, but we were not allowed to move closer to the beach without being charged an astronomical amount.

The location is breathtaking absolutely a small paradise. The facility impecable. Immerse in the green and flowers the cabins are amazing and super comfortable. The personnel amazingly nice

Beautiful, spacious and clean bungalows, right on the beach. We had 2nd row bungalows which was fine (3rd row also would have been fine). Beach is beautiful with soft sand, and still has a rustic feel about it (no hawkers pacing the beach trying to sell you jewelry / sarongs etc and no jet skis / pedlows etc - I hope it stays that way). See was calm and mostly clear (in August). Pool was always quiet with maximum only 1 other family there at the same time (mostly we were the only ones there). I didn’t find the pool particularly cold (as others have mentioned) but there is no really shallow end for toddlers (fine for our kids at 7yrs +). Unusual approach to breakfast (must be pre-ordered night before / by 7am), but it works well and means that service is v quick. Food quality was good. Restaurant wasn’t serving meals outside of breakfast but that’s ok as the beach has a handful of really lovely restaurants all within a very short walk. Pingchan is perfect for a quiet, restful stay in a beautiful location. I hope to return one day - it was the highlight of my trip to Thailand.

The procedure of filling the breakfast preferences for each room and submitting the physical papers to the box at the reception day before, every day is a bit annoying. Can be easily forgotten and creates an over ordering since we couldn't know what we ordered kids will want for breakfast day after.

Wat een mooie plek. Je loopt vanuit het resort het strand op. Daar vind je meerdere leuke restaurantjes. Super plek!

de bar van het hotel sluit om 17:00 uur. Dat is echt te vroeg. Daardoor is het wel stil en rustig. Maar het dichtstbijzijnde restaurantje of barretje is 2 min lopen. Ook een supermarkt is super dichtbij. Dus even wennen bij aankomst (we arriveerden na 17 uur), maar een superplek!! We hebben het er heerlijk gehad.

Die Lage zum Strand sowieso zum Ort sind perfekt, man erreicht die wichtigsten Geschäfte zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten (Laundry, Supermarkt, Food, gym) Das Frühstück (man bestellt am Vortag sein gesamtes Frühstück und bekommt es frisch zubereitet) hat uns sehr geschmeckt! Der Service war extrem herzlich! Allein deshalb würden wir das Resort wieder besuchen!

Das Badezimmer (Dusche und Waschbecken) waren nicht gereinigt. Auf unsere Bitte wurde die Dusche schnell sauber gemacht. Uns ist aufgefallen, dass der roomservice ohne schlüsselkarte - also ohne licht - putzt, daher werden manche Dinge übersehen. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Rest aber sauber.

The property is very worn, there is no vibe in any of the areas, pool, restaurant, bar. The breakfast was poor, we were paying what we would pay at a 5 star due to staying in front villas but the property is barely a 3 star, disappointing. The villa had lovely view but was dark and dull inside

Uns hat die ganze Insel ausgezeichnet gefallen. Die Strände waren mehrheitlich sehr sauber und überwältigend. Das PingChan ist ein super Resort zum entspannen. Kein Lärm, wenig Kinder. Das Frühstück war sehr gut bis auf die Brotauswahl. (Leider nur Toastbrot) Für das gesamte Personal 10 Punkte. Die machen wirklich einen tollen Job. Es hat in dieser Bucht auch sehr gute Restaurants.

Tolle Anlage und tolles Personal! Alles passt innerhalb der Anlage! Jedoch empfehle ich ein Auto zu mieten vorab, da es extrem abgelegen ist!

Lage

We loved it and can highly recommend to stay there! Everyone was so kind and the place is just beautiful with a wonderful beach! It’s not a huge resort and felt more chill than bigger resorts we’ve been to for example on Koh Samui. The breakfast & lunch were also very delicious and they made for example delicious vegan & glutenfree fried rice for me. What we also liked a lot was the possibility to walk at the beach in the evening to several nice restaurants with barbecue and fire show - a beautiful, chill, family-friendly ambiente (also for two women walking alone we always felt so safe).

Etwas zu teuer !

Wir waren mit unserem vierjährigen Sohn unterwegs und hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach super! Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und überall sauber – man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Der Pool ist wunderschön und lädt richtig zum Entspannen ein. Besonders toll fanden wir auch den direkten Zugang zum Strand – perfekt für einen spontanen Spaziergang am Meer oder einen kurzen Abstecher zum Baden. Wir hatten ein Haus in der zweiten Reihe. Diese Häuser verfügen über eine Außendusche, die wirklich richtig cool ist – gerade nach dem Strandbesuch super praktisch. Außerdem hat man von dort einen richtig schönen Blick auf das Meer, was den Aufenthalt noch einmal besonders macht. Die Häuser in der ersten Reihe haben zusätzlich noch Liegen direkt vor dem Haus sowie ebenfalls eine Außendusche. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls hervorragend mit einer großen Auswahl, sodass wirklich für jeden etwas dabei ist. Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Personal: Der Service war wirklich klasse! Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und immer bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Beachfront, row 1, veranda has absolutely gorgeous views! So nice to step right onto the beach and into the water! Clean beach! Convenient hose to rinse feet before re-entering bungalow. Very comfortable bed, great quiet AC, good inside shower and lovely outside shower.

Some outside visitors on beach smoking weed right before the bungalows every day (smelly!). Bit limited options for breakfast. Did not try other meals because of abundance of excellent options nearby with more extensive opening hours. The property is very expensive for Thailand, but for the experience we were glad we splurged on front row.

- Bar und Restaurant ab 17:00 geschlossen - nicht mal mehr Beleuchtung bei der Anlage - Rezeption selten besetzt aber trotzdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit wenn jemand da ist - Frühstück muss man immer per Zettel bestellen was bei diesem Preis nicht sein sollte! Außerdem gibt es sehr wenig Auswahl, jeden Tag das selbe - Tische und Liegen sehr in die Jahre gekommen und etwas verrostet Das Personal ist jedoch super nett und deswegen troztdem eine Weiterempfehlung

Die Lage ist das absolute Plus dieser Anlage, vor allem die Beach Bungalows in der ersten Reihe. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist toll, bequeme asessel, Daybed und Liegestühle, das Bungalow gross, Bett bequem, Badezimmer auch sehr gross.

Für das Preisniveau sind diverse Dinge nicht in Ordnung: die Bettwäsche und Handtücher total vergilbt, mit Flecken und Löchern, lose Treppengeländer, die grosse Unfallgefahr bergen, Frühstück ok, aber nicht adäquat für Preisniveau, jeden Tag genau die gleichen drei Fruchtsorten auf dem Teller (Wassemelone, Ananas, halbe Banane) - da wäre etwas Abwechslung angebracht. Personal spricht kaum englisch, sie sind zwar sehr bemüht und freundlich, aber offenbar kaum geschult. Wie schon erwähnt: es ist alles ok und die Lage wirklich super, wir haben auch tolle Tage dort verbracht, aber eben nicht passend für dieses Preisniveau (300 Euro pro Nacht).

Un site sublime dans une baie magnifique. Endroit très calme.propice au repos. Les bungalows sont bien entretenus ainsi que le jardin. Bungalows Simples et confortables. Nous avons pu rejoindre les cascades à partir d' un chemin derrière les bungalows. Personnel adorable.

Les déjeuners... Les produits ne sont pas de très grandes qualités.

One of our favourite places to stay in Thailand! A beachfront cottage on Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach — it’s simply paradise and absolutely worth the journey to get there. The bed is very comfortable (with a mosquito net), there’s a fridge, great hot water pressure in the shower, a lovely balcony/deck area, and a TV in the room (although we never used it). The best part is falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing at night. Sunsets are a dream, and the beach is perfect for long walks and hitting your daily step goals. Drinks and food can be ordered at the property, and while the pool is small, it’s lovely and peaceful. Food at the restaurants in town or at thong nai pan noi beach are fantastic wonderful! Easy to rent a scooter to explore the area. We often stay for five nights, but we would happily stay much, much longer!

The breakfast at the restaurant is fairly basic. That said, it didn’t bother us too much as we actually prefer exploring the many great restaurants nearby. We were also a little disappointed that the property is no longer listed on Expedia, as we’re loyal to the brand and usually prefer booking through it (so this holiday was more expensive for us compared to booking in 2025).

Het was allemaal prima !

Bungalows erste Reihe traumhaft an wunderschönem Strand. Unglaublicher Ausblick. Schöne Terrasse und Liegen direkt davor. Bequeme Betten und gute Klimaanlage. Fußläufig viele Bars und Restaurants am Beach und im Ort.

Gesamte Einrichtung und Ausstattung sehr abgewohnt, aber sauber. Frühstück mit Bestellzettel gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der teure Preis ist ausschließlich der direkten Strandlage geschuldet..

Die Lage ist einfach top, direkt am wunderschönen Strand gelegen. Ausreichend Liegen sowohl am Pool als auch im Strandbereich vorhanden. Frühstück ok, wie schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, füllt man auf einem Zettel aus, was man möchte und bekommt das dann serviert. Auswahl ok, Eier in verschiedenster Form, Obst, Müsli. Kaffee ist trinkbar (aber nicht wirklich gut). Dame an Rezeption sehr nett, haben Taxis dort bestellt und es hat immer alles super funktioniert. Restliches Personal sehr unauffällig. Zimmer auch vollkommen ok, große Terrasse. Wir hatten ein Quartier in der 3. Reihe. Kein Meerblick, dafür sehr ruhig. Anlage ist relativ klein, deshalb ist man auch schnell überall, das war wirklich toll, da keine langen Wege zurückgelegt werden müssen. In 3 min. ist man im kleinen Ort mit ausgezeichneten Restaurants und ein paar Geschäften. Unsere Tochter war zeitgleich im Anantara-Hotel, eine Bucht weiter. Dort ein etwas größerer Ort, allerdings hatten sie oft weit höhere Wellen als wir, obwohl die Strände ziemlich nahe sind... Wir waren sehr froh, uns für Ping Chan entschieden zu haben, jederzeit wieder!!!

Vielleicht etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück bzw. Buffet könnte eine Option sein. Ansonsten gibt es eigentlich nichts, was ich bemängeln könnte.

החדר לא היה מספיק נקי. יותר מידי ישן . לא הרגיש בטוח. הדלתות לא נסגרו עד הסוף. וזוחלים נכנסו (לנו באופן אישי מאוד הפריע ) . לא היתה נוכחות בלילה של שמירה וצוות מלון.

Ruhe, dafür kein Barbetrieb abends. Aber genug nebenan. Frühstück ist auswahlreich aber immer gleich. Nach 20 Tagen könnte zB die Früchte mal abwechseln nicht immer nur ananas Melone banane.

Cudowny, spokojny ośrodek z domkami w bardzo dobrym standardzie. Okolica cicha , widok wspaniały. Czysto wszędzie, pyszne śniadanka z cudnym widokiem na morze. Plaża ogromna, czysta i bardzo mało ludzi. Do centrum wioski 300 metrów.

Wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie. Nie ma się absolutnie czego doszukiwać.

Świetny ośrodek na przepięknej, rodzinnej plaży. Polecam!

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage direkt am Strand. Wir hatten drei Ferienhäuser gebucht. Eines in der ersten Reihe und zwei in der zweiten. Unser Wunsch wurde erfüllt und wir bekamen Ferienhäuser, die nebeneinander lagen. Die Innenausstattung der Ferienhäuser entsprach allen unseren Anforderungen. Das Bett war sehr groß und bequem, das Badezimmer war groß und hatte einen separaten Eingang zur Dusche und zur Toilette. Es gab genügend Handtuchhalter und Regale im Badezimmer, um unsere Sachen zu verstauen. Mit einem Wort: sehr schön gestaltet. Die Ferienhäuser und die gesamte Anlage waren sauber und sehr gepflegt. Zal Es war schade, abreisen zu müssen.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und jeden Tag dasselbe. Es gab keine große Auswahl, aber es schmeckte gut. Das Personal beim Frühstück machte dies durch seine Freundlichkeit und sein Engagement wieder wett.

Sehr schönes in einer schönen Lage und ruhigen Strand befindliches Hotel. Direkter Zugang ans Meer. Perfekt für Familien und jene die kein Partybedürfnis empfinden. Sehr cooles Einführungsvideo jeweils in der Landessprache. Leckeres, bodenständiges Frühstück passend auf die Zielgruppe der Besucher gerichtet.

The location of the hotel is perfect. On the beach. Quiet and clean beach. Very nice western breakfast without much choice.

The hotel didn't have much to offer in terms of attractions. Most were recommendations for attractions at other hotels. The restaurant wasn't open after 4:00 PM.

We had a very pleasant stay at PingChan. Everything was so nice we felt it justified the holiday peak price! Even though we noticed that most of the guests were family with kids (including us), the resort still felt private and quiet. The beach was very nice, clean and shallow - good for kids. The pool only has one depth but it was fine. Plenty of restaurants nearby whether on the beach or on the road with nearby barber and convenient stores. The hotel has transportation services to/from the pier. Room: spacious and clean one bedroom bangalow with a front porche. The back of the bedroom has separated sink, toilet and shower and even an outdoor shower! We stayed in the second row but it still has the sea view. I usually have issues with hotel pillow but none with the mattress and the pillows here. I slept really well. Very pleased with the room. Food: breakfast is unlimited but the initial order has to be placed with the number of serving that you want. A very common way to order in Thailand and such a good way to minimize food waste! We felt satisfied everyday. I was very pleased with the quality of the coffee. Staff: very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lot of interaction with the staff at the bar and felt the enthusiasm in servicing the guests. Cleanliness and maintenance: staff cleaned the resort very well including the beach. We could tell that maintenence was ongoing during the off season. The trees make each bangalow feel private. We spent a lof of time on the beach under the big tree. We will definitely come back!

Lighting in the bangalow was too dimmed for me but my husband thought it was perfect.

Double beach front villa was perfect for kids. Staff very kind and helpful.

The price was too much for what it was… when booking I thought it was going to be a bit more special than was it was. Restaurant and beach bar closed, no atmosphere.

Das Hotel ist ab 17:00 Uhr wie Ausgestorben Das Personal hat dann Feierabend und man kann an der Rezeption nur über ein Telefon das Personal erreichen. Der Pool ist leider sehr klein und lädt nicht zum verteilen ein. Dass man das Frühstück mit Zetteln zum ankreuzen bestellt ist wahrscheinlich den schlechten Englisch Kenntnissen des Personals zu verdanken .

Es war ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer ! Die Aussendusche ist super ! Das Frühstück war lecker und man saß direkt am Meer ! So freundliches Personal haben wir bei unserer Rundreise in keinem anderen Hotel gehabt ! Echt toll ! Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen.

Excellent location, very relaxed, amazing view and many restaurants and services in the beach within walking distance. Clean and well maintained rooms, nice breakfast, friendly staff.

The lighting in our room was a bit dim. The small village near the beach feels almost deserted.

Ligging tov het privestrand was prima.

De accommodatie was erg donker, de ramen zijn redelijk klein.
