We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great. very close to the beach. The staff was very helpful and always tried to assist us.Nash in the restaurant went out of his way to serve us. I would highly recommend staying there.
We loved our stay. The hotel is delightful with traditional buildings, pretty gardens and a lovely pool. The staff are warm and welcoming and the service is excellent. The continental breakfast is very good. We had dinner twice and would thoroughly recommend- the food was excellent.
I chose La Ferme D'Augustin after tons of research on where to stay in Saint Tropez and felt slightly underwhelmed. It is, in fact, a lovely hotel, so let me start with the positives. The setting of the remodeled Provencal farmhouse is lovely. The buildings are so well cared for and charming. The grounds are well kept. The rooms have been recently updated and the bathroom is stunning. Housekeeping is top notch and includes daily cleaning and evening tidying and turn down, which helps the experience feel luxury. They have a car that can shuttle you into town until 6 pm and you can rent bikes for a fee. Having a pool is a nice option and it's a cute spot. The deciding factor for us was the proximity to the beach. We figured we would want to be able to easily get to and from the beach anytime we wanted with minimal hassle, and it is just a 5-10 minute walk to Pompellonne. The hotel also made us a couple of reservations, which was a help. They also accommodated us staying an extra night without changing rooms when airport strikes affected our flight. Finally, there is ample parking on site and there is no extra charge for that. On the downside, I feel like it is extremely expensive for what you get, and yes, I realize it is Saint Tropez. I am usually pretty good at noticing things hotels don't make obvious, but I missed that there is literally no ocean view from anywhere on the property, except perhaps the high up balcony rooms. I had wanted a sea view balcony room but they were all booked and I knew I was not getting a room with a view, but I was under the impression you could see the sea from spots by the pool or that perhaps you could sit somewhere on the property with a water view. Just know that this is not the case. We took a Superior Room which is certainly not the lowest option and it is quite small, though well appointed. There are two closets and many shelves, but the room is tight. It has a patio but it's not very inviting - two iron chairs and table in gravel next to your neighbors. The bathroom update is luxurious, but in 2025 why would you not put a door on a toilet in a small hotel room? The toilet open to everything pretty much renders the beautiful bathroom useless for the other guest. Also, there isn't a real mini fridge, more like a fridge with a block of ice in the back with a warning not to put food in it. I am not sure if we had a new employee check us in, but we had to inquire about where to park and had no offers to help with bags. Given it's not a standard hotel with a lift bank, making many trips with bags through the parking lot, up stone steps, and through gravel after a 10 hour drive was not so fun or luxurious. We had a lovely stay and it is a pretty place. I personally just felt a little underwhelmed for the price. We stayed in shoulder season and the Superior Room was 800 Euro on the weekend and 500 weeknight. Partly it is Saint Tropez, but by comparison to other high end places like Santorini, Amalfi, Maldives, Val Thorens - the accommodations and views for the same price were jaw dropping, and included beautiful breakfasts in the stay.
Very cute and kind Walk to the beach gets 5 stars by itself Amazing pool Amazing shower water pressure 👍👍 Outside of the crazy busy and traffic jams of the centre.
We stayed here for two nights our second trip after staying last year too.The location is very good a few mins from Pampelonne beach and its beach clubs.A super friendly warm welcome from the team makes you feel at home straight away. Our room and terrace just perfect.A shuttle into St Tropez is an added bonus.A beautiful property super clean and peaceful what is not to like.We will for sure return here next year our favourite hotel in the area.
Absolutely wonderful in a great location 5 mins from the beach and a shuttle into St Tropez town.Super helpful friendly team and very clean. We will return.
Standard room are very small less than 12m2 With a tiny bathroom Unacceptable for an hotel of that price. Around 750 € per night … what else ?
Truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Top notch service, unbelievable food, the property is maintained to a level that pictures don’t even do justice! 12/10!!!!
Excelente
Perfect location. Amazing staff.
Ok
I am extremely dissapointed with this Hotel. I had many bites from bed bugs. I stayed 2 out of 4 nights and they did not refused to refund me. I left the moment a pharmacist confirmed they were bed bugs.
Paradise found. Exceptionally maintained and manicured grounds, gardens and rooms. I recommend room 56 for the most sensational views of the Fresh Riviera: from the rolling hills and mountain tops to the beach and the boats in the sea. I have travelled the world & this property is cared for with love & great detail.
We stayed here for four nights in a junior suite. The whole team are lovely and super welcoming. It was disappointing our service dog wasn’t allowed by the pool so we didn’t get the benefit of this and our terrace only got sun in the morning.Breakfast which we paid for was average at best and somewhat miserly for 25 euros. You got half a glass of fresh juice,a yoghurt, tiny fruit bowl and some bread with jam.No hot breakfast you had to pay extra for anything hot individually and I personally felt let down by this.We ate one night in the restaurant and was just ok and overpriced for what you get I’d rather eat in the port for the same price.Overall a lovely hotel but if you have a dog you don’t benefit from the pool.
A wonderful relaxing stay in our junior suite with terrace.Very clean, super friendly team and walking distance to the beach.Highly recommend.
Lovely property 10 minute drive outside st tropez, however parking in town impossible, so use hotel shuttle. Room was good size and well appointed. Hotel made you feel you were on vacation in a great property
Wonderful family run place. Literally 5 minute walk to the sand and the beach clubs. Fabulous food. The owner even came by at dinner and shared his story with us. Overall a delightful stay.
It’s the third time we stay at la Ferme d’Augustin, perfect mix of relax chic vib and close to beach
There are numerous things wrong with this place, but one illustration will suffice. They refused to provide any kind of coffee maker or a plain water boiler. Later I purchased one in a Saint-Tropez supermarket for several euros. So, they are prepared to charge a thousand dollars a night, but unprepared to invest in furnishings to the tune of $1 per decade.
Great hotel and amazing staff
Very nice hotel right next to the beach. Lovely grounds with nice gardens and flowers. With this unfortunately comes bugs. The restaurant was very accommodating (we could see them bringing candles out to tables and plates with extra food to distract the bees). One of us were stung on the hand as the bees were quite aggressive. Once again it’s not the hotels fault but there is just a lot of bees. Furthermore we were taken on a tour when we arrived telling us they were showing us to our room. We arrived at what we found out was a suite and we thought that this was where we were staying. After we started to put our things down we were told that it wasn’t our room but instead an upgrade option. The lady wasn’t overly pushy but said she would make us a “nice price” when we got back to the front desk. Here she just told us the regular price for the suite (which was double of the room that we had booked) and then requested that we make her an offer for the upgrade. We ended up agreeing to an upgrade but the “haggle” didn’t feel very upscale in our opinion and was a bit off putting. I understand it’s a sales tactic (as the room obviously wasn’t booked that night) and we agreed but in hindsight wouldn’t have without the added pressure and incentive of being told it would be a “nice price”and going all the way back to the front desk carrying all of our stuff. All this to say, just be aware that when they show you to your room it might not actually be your room but instead a sales pitch.
This place was amazing!
What a beautiful place with amazing people who would go step ahead to accommodate clients desires and needs. A place to go in St tropez !
This is at best a 3 star hotel (we didn’t spend too much time elsewhere in the premise so can’t comment there ; but just in our room). The rooms are old, few issues we ran into 1) no blackout curtain 2) no coffee/kettle in the room - need to ask for it. 3) room is small and old 4) hairdryer is one of those from the 90s attached to the wall 5) hot water taking a shower goes in and out. So can get really hot or cold for a split second It’s a “cute/charming” premise I suppose, but the room was certainly disappointing given the price tag. During check in, staff also tried to convince us to upgrade to a better room. Maybe it’s our room, but reminded me of my college dorm
Absolutely amazing hotel and staff! It is paradise and so close to everything you would want to do. Davide went above and beyond late night when we had a problem with our tub and was so attentive and nice. Nash and Arthur made our last night dinner a wonderful experience and made us feel like long time friends. Alain was so kind and patient with us as he drove us to and from town and made us feel truly welcome in St. Tropez. We will definitely be back!
I have known this little part of heaven on earth for over forty-five years. For me and my family its like coming home. I knew the origional owner who was head of the local resistance in the last world war. Squat tough and a terrific sence of humour. Taught me to play boule but only if there was a pastis at hand. I went early in the morning to market with him, a pastis with a coffee was de rigeur. I first went there to work and arrived at night it was very dark but a cold plate had been left in my room. Slept like a log to awake to flowers, sun and a delightful warm welcome. Breakfast on the terrace was fresh baguettes etc. home made jam and creamy butter. Delicious coffee. AND the food was beyond delicious. Breakfast is served now until 11.30 in your room or a quiet spot in the garden. The running of the Ferme has passed down the family and is now in the capable hands of Christophe who has inherited the special Ferme warmth not just from the sun but his greeting. The Ferme now has a swimming pool dug from Augustin's boule pitch. He would not have minded as the pool has a fabulous outdoor bar. The cocktails prime one for lunch or dinner. Non-fussy fo. od fresh and well, just perfect for me. I just love the way fresh fish is shown and then discussed how one would like it cooked. I could write a book about the Ferme but suffice to say that I went there three times the first year, before I was married the second time. I had my second honey moon at La Ferme! La Ferme is 150 m from Plage Tahiti who have a geat bar, have not tried the food because, well the Ferme's is only a little stroll away. By the way a thoughtful car is on hand to take one down to St Tropez, ten minutes drive For me and my family, who have all grown up, go there with my grand children. It is a bit special.
Easy walk to beach and free shuttle to town. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, but the shower was hard to work and shot water everywhere. May want to ask for directions to use.
It’s a beautiful property walking distance to the beach . The stuff very friendly We had breakfast included but my husband decided to order an omelet with ham and cheese and they are charging for each one separately to add ham4 dollars and cheese 6 dollars
Fantastic stay! Loved the ambiance, staff, hotel shuttle, and pool. Great restaurant too.
We had the absolute best stay of our vacation at this beautiful property! We stayed in room #45 which was a garden suite. It was so lovely and full of French country charm! We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and also enjoyed a short walk to the neighboring Italian restaurant. The pool was magical and just a short distance away was the beach clubs (Nikki Beach) and the quaint town of St. Tropez. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Do not pass up this gem! Drink in the beautiful and peaceful ambiance that this historical hotel has to offer, you will not regret it! We especially loved meeting the family that runs this amazing property and please say "Bonjour" to the amazing Augustin grandmother! She was such a delight and so welcoming to us! Thank you again for an AMAZING vacation! Ellie and Matt
We liked everything about this property. It was a great Anniversary spot.
Beautiful property with excellent service away from the hustle and bustle of Saint Tropez and a short walk to Tahiti beach. The food at the hotel was fresh and good but there aren't a lot of other options nearby so a car is a good choice when staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful visit. We stayed 5 days and the property and pool are beautiful. The staff was the friendliest - from Jenny and the front desk - Fabien at the restaurant - Laurent the driver. They made the visit extra special. Thank you!!!
Lovely, relaxed hotel with very friendly staff. Had a lovely time staying with my dog. Very close to the beach. Very lovely pool area and terrace with nice bar and restaurant. The food was very good too. It was just great, returning in 2 weeks time!
TODO MUY BIEN
La Ferme d'Augustin is a simply magical property! The aesthetic is pure French countryside and it is impeccably landscaped and clean. Service and facilities were wonderful, with a terrific breakfast and fresh, local seafood offerings for dinner. Our jr. suite was spacious, well appointed, provided air conditioning and had a lovely, private patio. The pool and outdoor bar area were very tranquil and refreshing. Lastly - it's a very short and convenient walk to Pampelonne Beach with easy access to beach clubs. La Ferme d'Agustin was the highlight of a wonderful trip to France!
Beautiful property with amazing and friendly staff and great on-site restaurant. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is truly a gem and I look forward to staying here on my next visit to St. Tropez.
This property was very charming. The beach is walking distance. Not walking distance to anything else so you will need a rental or they have a car service you can call ahead that can bring you in St Tropez city center. It’s about a ten minute drive. Staff is wonderful and I see a lot of couples and families. The food for in room service was delicious. Only suggestion is they have a lot of wonderful scents like candles in room and I am sensitive to some smells so request no oils in room if your sensitive too (perfume) smells like me. Overall a great beautiful place to stay.
Charming family run hotel with fantastic atmosphere, staff, facilities and food. Felt like we were guest in someone's home rather than a hotel.
Excellent food and service. Lovely people working there! Great pool.
Beautiful hotel just outside St Tropez, very welcoming and attentive staff. Our room was quiet and nicely furnished. Could walk to the beach or get a ride into town with hotel’s friendly chauffeur. The pool was great, heated to 30 degrees.
Personale gentile e premuroso, ottimo ristorante con verdure dell'orto e prodotti freschissimi, a 2 passi dalla spiaggia, piscina riscaldata a 30 gradi, meraviglioso!
Wonderful traditional French Riviera hotel with friendly staff, amazing food and a great pool. Will definitely stay again!
Very good experience! Very nice people and very clean
The water tank broke in the area during our visit so we were not able shower or use toilet during our stay. This just wasn't acceptable for the rate we were paying. They even checked us in without warning us of the situation nor came to apologize/ offer any solution. They waited until we figured out what was going on and when we complained, they only asked us to wait it out. We ended up checking out early but they still charged 100% of the nights we stayed. I heard this wasn't the first time this hotel didn't have running water. I would be very careful booking them. For a 4 star hotel, I would at least expect them to fix the problem quickly or offer a refund.
Great service, speciality food. Rooms comfy Overall charming provençale experience
It was like walking into a movie. Quaint, clean, warm & inviting in every way. Location to beach was amazing- 5 min walk max. Heated pool was nice as well. Breakfast was wonderful & had an amazing view on the terrace. Would absolutely love to come back here!
Beautiful place, super nice staff, delicious food. The only downside is that our room did not have a window (just a door with glass), the WI_FI is really rubbish and there was no mobile phone signal in our room
Great location - fab service and awesome cleanliness -room a little small and breakfast option limited - otherwise fabulous
For the price, it did not deliver the value paid for. The Internet did not work well. When I was trying to check in with work, it wouldn't let me connect and when I did connect it was almost not usable. The check in area was more like a sauna than a hotel lobby. It is right next to a kitchen and when coupled with the high heat and no air conditioning, it made for a sweaty miserable check in experience.
wonderful and homey feel. Very nice accommodations and service.
One felt one was in the country but yet it was very close to the port in St Tropez
Beautiful hotel and near a lovely beach. The staff were so helpful nothing was a bother. I would highly recommend the hotel.,
Where can I start from! I don’t know! This is not a hotel - this is home!!! (I wish!) The food had a different taste - like from another soil, another earth.I was having tomato salads and eggs a la coque for breakfast from their garden. It was bringing me back memories from my childhood-that’s how authentic and unique the food was! The staff - including everyone - were talking to you while smiling! You felt part of a farmhouse, original, Saint Tropez family. ‘Bonjour’ had an added sweetness in it. I highly recommend it.
Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out! Great room with a view, pool was nice and everyone was helpful. We wish we had more time there.
We were made to feel so welcome which was especially appreciated given we had arrived during the worst weather conditions for years (very unusual) - it helped to lift our spirits!
This is a lovely property - the pool and the grounds are well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in helping us get around and into St Tropez for dinner.
Its a nice place if you are over 60 and dont wish to use the internet or any technology after 1999. Wifi is dead, barely able to get a phone signal anywhere on the property the only good thing was the food. the smell as O opened the room was like an animal had passed away and dont get a ground floor room unless you're into voyeurism..... not good and very VERY over priced
A large territory, very spacial. Nice gardens with sculptures. We had our 1 year grand daughter with us, so that it was convient to have walking space around. A car is needed though to go any else where. Some rooms have a small adjoining garden, which gives a more spacious feeling, and the ability to seat outside in nice weather too.
Great Service, location and free shuttle bus to St Tropez
Very peaceful and friendly hotel. They do not allow outsiders to use pool so there were always loungers available. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and answer questions.
Delightful quiet hotel off the beaches near St. Tropez. Beautiful area.
Staff was awesome from the second we checked in till the second we checked out.
The staff are so wonderful, nice, and accommodating and the place is so charming and lovely. The hotel is secluded and quiet, and yet is only a 3 minute walk to an amzing beach and a 5 minute drive into st tropez! Definitely coming back!
