Marazion Hotel

Staff are key to every area of a Business and Marazion Hotel have great people working in every area. Breakfast service in particular is exceptional with very friendly, informative and mothering ladies. Breakfast was inclusive and more than adequate with good choice. Dinner through our week was taken at the Hotel as well. Most nights are busy with external guests so book early! The specials menu is a different fresh fish every night and the Chef does a great job!! The Ala Carte menu has a good selection as well. Most ingredients sourced locally!! Our room was exceptional, even though we had standard room with no view of the Mount. No loss as the Hotel is virtually on the mount and we walked by it and the beach most evenings. Oh, and the hotel has great cosy bar serving local beers

Great location for touring the Penwith Peninsula. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

I can’t think of anything I would change about the hotel or staff. The parking was very good too. We ate on one evening in a nearby hotel and found the restaurant, the staff and prices were not nearly as good as the Marazion Hotel

Great location, exceptionally clean rooms, staff mostly helpful and happy to help out and offer advice about visiting the local area and any other help they can give. The evening meal in the Cutty Sark restaurant on Sunday night was simply delicious.

Not really anything other than personal taste but we found the breakfast sausages were really unpleasant, an almost chemical/soapy type taste, the rest of the breakfast was pretty great and arrived quickly. Everything else about our stay was excellent.

Amazing staff, welcoming, helpful and friendly. Secure parking. The breakfast was very good. The room was a good size and had a view of St Michael's Mount. Very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee in the room. The shower was great. Was quiet after the pubs and restaurants closed. Nice, quiet lounge area for guests.

The bathroom was small with no space to hang towels. The room was very hot and opening the window to let some air in made it noisy and people could see into the room. The price was quite high.

We only stayed for one night, and it was perfect. Very friendly staff in the reception, the bar, and in the restaurant. The food was very good and lots of options to choose from. Room was nice and warm. Location is perfect. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff, the stay was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and generous. We ate dinner three times in the restaurant - in other words, we kept coming back! Beyond the hotel doors, the location was stunning, and very convenient for the beach, the Mount, and day trips further afield. Highly recommend a visit.

A very friendly nice atmosphere throughout the hotel and in the rooms all decorated nice and lovely even though we were staying at the rear of the hotel without a sea view it really didn’t matter as it was a stones through to walk outside and experience the special view to st micheals mount a definitely must visit too

Wir kennen Hotel, Lage und Ort seit vielen Jahren. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit dem gewünschten "Mountain-Blick" erhalten. Prima Frühstück, sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal; Sehr gutes Essen.

Die Übernachtungspreise sind schon sehr hoch für die (allerdings sehr gediegene und saubere) Ausstattung. Es liegt wohl an der Lage und dem geringen Hotel-Angebot in Marazion.

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of the village . First class service . Room was comfortable and nicely decorated . Very comfy bed . Food is excellent in the restaurant. Very reasonably priced too for the time of year . We willl be returning next year .

Perfect location, a short walk from St Michael's Mount causeway. The Cutty Sark restaurant is excellent for both food and service, though doesn't take bookings at 7.30 pm for some reason.

Lovely hotel in Marazion, v close to St. Michael's Mount. While a little on the expensive side, breakfast was included and the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Parking available and hotel provided a good location for visiting Lands End, St.Ives etc.

Excellent position, a stones throw away from St Michael’s mount and the beach. Amazing breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff too. Everything on your doorstep with parking!!! Everything is laid back and relaxing.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean and comfortable room. I paid a premium for a front room and it was worth it for the views of St Michael’s Mount and the sea. The food, bar and lounge area are all excellent for small hotel. Location was perfect for visiting the island and Mariazion is a lovely , small town with a few shops. It was sunny and warm when I visited which was a bonus.

We had a fantastic stay and were upgraded from a double room to the hideaway cottage with lots of space and comfortable lounge and kitchen. The location is extraordinary and the restaurant exceeded in all ways.

The price was excessive for what is basically a very nice b&b next door to a pub/ restaurant. The breakfast was nice but limited and rationed. Our room was on the small size for such a high price.

Pretty much all the staff at the hotel gave excellent service. They were attentive but not 'overbearing' and were happy to go beyond the standard to satisfy requests. Food was good and seemed to be 'prepared inhouse' rather than bought in and warmed up.

Historisches Gebäude liegt an der Straße und dadurch ist Straßenlärm unvermeidbar, also laut.

Breakfast was excellent - freshly prepared, tasty, well presented and more than enough. Dinner was delicious and plenty of choice for varied diets. The room was newly decorated, clean and cosy. The staff were all very friendly.

Outstanding small hotel; staff really made you feel that they wanted you to have an enjoyable time; breakfast was superb with generous portions and encouragement not to stint; dinner is good honest cooking. The apartment for four people is very well equipped and feels spacious. Parking is easy - no small matter. The location is perfect for visiting the iconic St Michael's Mount. Our stay could not have been better. As a bonus, the beer garden is beautifully done . We'll be back!

It was very clean and cosy interiors with eye for details. I came in just after kitchen closed after a long walk along the Cornwall costal path. But there was no hesitation and the chef made me one of the best salmon sandwiches ever.

Fabulous location with lovely views. The room we had was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The lady that checked us in was super friendly and made our night by arranging fish and chips made from the restaurant in takeaway boxes, so we could take them to the beach, to watch the sunset with them, and they were amazing.

From the moment we arrived at the Marazion Hotel, we were treated so incredibly well. The team are so friendly and welcoming and made our stay so much more special. There's such a relaxed family feel but that doesn't compromise the outstanding quality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could wish for. A good sized room, comfy king size bed, a well stocked tea tray with local beverages, fresh cow's milk and biscuits, 50" television and plenty of sockets and USB points. The bathroom was modern too with a fantastic power shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and such a credit to the considerate housekeeping team. Service in the restaurant too was just fabulous. The menu - much of it supplied by local businesses including fresh fish - was comprehensive, the food was piping hot and just delicious. All served and presented as well as any 5 star establishment. Pretty much the entire menu was also either gluten free or had gluten free options - a real bonus when one of your party is coeliac. A huge thank you to everyone. This has to be one of the best experiences at a hotel we have had - simply first class!

Really lovely character property in great location. Old building but contemporary in style. Staff were amazing and so welcoming, we were staying due to very difficult personal circumstances and the staff made us feel very well cared for.

Vi måtte få mat på rommet 3 ganger på grunn av brukket ankel . De tok £46 for det. Skjønner at de må ta seg betalt for romservice,men dette bør de informere om. Det var ingen informasjon om dette,hverken verbalt eller skriftlig. En av oss kunne uten problem selv tatt maten opp. Vi gikk selv ned med brettet etter endt måltid,så dette syns vi var en altfor høy pris å betale.

Location was perfect for visiting St Michael’s Mount - right across from the sand and many great views from the rooms and common areas. Hotel was cozy and impeccably clean. Very noticeable compared to the chain accommodations these days. All staff were warm and helpful, who also were happy to arrange transportation on my behalf. Breakfast was HOT with multiple options offered standard, and the attached restaurant was inviting with lots of Cornish flavor for dinner and drinks.

Not a thing. If you are looking to visit St Michael’s Mount, experience some Cornwall beaches, and splurge a bit - this is a lovely option. Only wish that I could have visited in peak summer. Can’t wait to come back!

The room was clean and met all expectations. The hotel is located on a main road, but we had a room at the back and that was very quiet. The location is ideal. Good parking. After a day at St Michael’s mount, called in around 4.30 on the off chance as we had not booked.We were a party of 10, a mix of adults, children and a baby.we decided to have a drink and wait for the Dinner service to commence at 5pm. They accommodated us at a lovely table. We had brought a birthday cake with us. We all enjoyed a lovely meal. They bought out the cake with candles (which I had forgotten) and everyone sang happy birthday. Created special memories , definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Fantastic hotel spotless and clean a hidden gem

Had a lovely three night stay in March just my wife and I. We couldn’t fault the hotel, it was everything we had hoped for. The Cutty Sark restaurant served lovely food and could cater for my many food allergies. The free parking was a bonus, the staff were friendly and we slept well. Would definitely recommend the hotel. 10/10

My husband and I had a great stay at the lovely hotel in Marazion. Fab location, parking, friendly staff, comfortable room and brilliant shower. We had 3 relaxing days and nights here which was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, fresh, well appointed decor, comfy bed and pillows. Lovely breakfast and accommodated my husband’s allergies really well going over and above to make sure he had something tasty. Cannot fault it at all - the perfect little getaway thank you so much

We are quite local but stayed here as a large family group for a birthday celebration. What a wonderful hotel and restaurant experience. As a couple we booked a sea view room which gave us a beautiful view of the Mount. We all had a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant, the staff were fabulous, friendly, attentive and engaged. The food was top quality local ingredients. Finished with a very good quality breakfast the next day! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so welcoming and pleasurable.

Beautiful room, lovely staff, great shower and omg the bed was so comfy! Really well equipped room,,all the extras on the tea tray that make the difference. Lovely guest lounge. Great view. Good parking. Bed was the best thing though, after a week on an awful mattress in a holiday cottage it was a blessed relief to sleep in such a good quality bed. I have a back injury, so for me a firm mattress that supports my spine is a game changer. If you like a soft saggy springy mattress you wont like it! Ate one evening in restaurant, food was very good, the evening chef really understands flavour, good portions too and lovely service. Beautiful comfortable restaurant.

Breakfast was a mixed bag. Continental was good, fresh and ample. Cooked brekkie was disappointing after the high quality food during evening service. The mushrooms and poached eggs were great, but let down by tasteless underipe tomatoes, bland beans, average bread and a very 80's veggie sausage! Such good veggie sausages available now, please try something like Cauldron sausages! Decide to skip it the next day and had scrambled eggs on toast instead, these eggs were delicious, with really good flavour. I dont think I would have been disappointed if the evening meal hadn't been so very good, it set the bar really high!

Excellent hotel our third visit. Staff are lovely, very attentive and welcoming. Hotel is really clean and in good order, lounge area is lovely to sit in and have a game. Food is excellent, Sunday roast is fabulous as is the breakfast . Free parking on site. We will be back for a fourth visit, great place to stay.

We love it here! We’ve been back many times! Small hotel. Beautifully decorated. Always a warm welcome. Rooms are spotless, bright and comfortable. Staff are fabulous! Front of house staff are friendly, happy and always professionally efficient. The kitchen team create yummy food to enjoy; beautifully presented and hot! A delicious , relaxed breakfast always starts the day.

Nice rooms situated in the centre of marazion.Cutty Sark restaurant serves a good meal car park small but you can leave the car and catch the bus to Penzance helston or Falmouth and also use the train for visits elsewhere

The location is superb with parking out the back the bar has a good selection of drinks, We had a wonderful stay, I would love to stay again.
