The staff was very slow, we faced a lot of problems because of that, like almost an hour waiting for check in.

It was clean

The staff and facilities. Our key card was not working every time. And they said it’s normal without caring or saying sorry. Ao I had to go to 5th floor and come back to reception every time to make another card for me.

Bruit provenant de l’extérieur possiblement un système de thermopompe. 43 décibel dans la chambre toute la nuit. J’ai demandé de changer de chambre mais ce n’était pas leur priorité. J’ai donc passé 3 nuit pas agréable!

Le service, la propreté de l'établissement ainsi que ma chambre, tout était excellent pour moi.

La seul petite choses que je pourrais mentionner est qu'il y avait comme une odeur d'humidité en entrants dans ma chambre. Rien de majeur.

The breakfast. The fact that one can only choose between 4-5 things. Never experienced that before, and hope I will never experience it again. Really bad.

L’absence de restauration digne de ce nom (plats surgelés réchauffés, qualité médiocre). Pas de possibilité de petit déjeuner, achat au bar (même constat que pour le restaurant, qualité médiocre pour un prix élevé, très mauvais rapport qualité prix).

Super clean, nice swimming pool and nice gym.

The restaurant was pretty basic and there was no food available in the hotel from 1pm-5pm. This was inconvenient as the hotel is not near any other conveniently near other food options.

Location was good, however not close to coffee shops other than Starbucks which the coffee doesn’t taste the same as the actual Starbucks coffee place. I liked that there was a microwave & a sink to clean up-Bonus. The bed was comfortable the room was clean.

I think the price was too high on comparison to the other hotels we have stayed in the city.

The bed are comfortable

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The rooms are very noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The pet fee is also quite expensive for what is offered. In addition, I was required to sign an agreement stating that I could not leave my pet alone in the room, which made it very inconvenient to go out for meals or activities. Overall, I don't feel the hotel provides good value if you're traveling with a pet.

Front desk very rude to us and make many mistake and charge us twice for staying.

Stay away. This is an independently owned Marriott, and the front desk pretends they don't know how Marriott status works, so you can kiss those benefits goodbye. They also make you sign a disclaimer that they are not responsible for thefts in their parking lot. They offer you a club to lock your steering wheel! Meanwhile, not a single camera is installed to monitor the parking lot - what a lazy way to do business!! Then, to add insult to injury, they overcharge you after I prepaid for the stay with the pay-in-full option. When I called the front desk to ask why they charged me again, they gave me a spinning wheel with a list of reasons, all prefaced with "maybe".

C’est un bel endroit endroit, chic. Le resto le matin est très bon. La piscine et le bain à remou a été un must pour nous. Le personnel a été très très accueillant pour la plupart. Les lits sont super confortable et la chambre que nous avions était vraiment grande.

Nous avions un petit problème de distribution de débarbouillette, rien de grave mais nous devions courir après puisqu’on nous en mettait 1 ou 2 lors que nous étions une famille de 4. À notre arrivé une seule employé était très bête, et semblait très dépasser puisqu’il y avait beaucoup de monde à l’accueil vu un annulation de vol.

The location is good in its proximity to downtown, but there is nothing else in the immediate area, such as shops or restaurants. The only shop in the vicinity is a Maxi supermarket, but even to reach that it is either a 15-20 min walk or a similar time driving around the highways.

Key was not working for front door to the room

The hotel is well-situated on the West Island of Montreal with proximity to the city center and other suburbs like Laval. It is clean and safe. There is an issue with stolen vehicles where the hotel makes you sign a waiver if you do not purchase their steering wheel lock! You are not made aware of this until you register. To me, that is a money grab!

Without Even a Phone Call TRAPPED | Predatory Cancellation Practices | UN-Hospitable Customer Service Not what I’m accustomed to as a Bonvoy Member and frequent traveler. I am angry because I booked two rooms for two nights on Hotels.com for F1 Weekend, back in September 25, 2025 to secure a good rate and ensure room availability at a cost of $1701. But note, Hotels.com allows the option to pay at the property when you arrive, so I never saw coming, what happened next. May 12, 2026 at 2am (less than 12 days before I planned to bring my family to this Hotel) - Unexpectedly and without so much as a professional phone call or prior email to me, I get emails that the Hotel has cancelled both my room reservations – with no interaction or recourse. You can likely draw your own conclusions, as F1 weekend seems to drive rate increases for everything in Montreal. But this was excessive. Their claim was the credit card had expired – it was current at time of booking – otherwise Hotels.com would never have accepted it. I travel with two cc’s and intended to pay in full when I arrived as per the reservation confirmation. The very next morning, I contacted the Courtyard by Marriott Montreal West Island/Baie D’Urfe and was told to take it up with Hotels.com SERIOUSLY! So, I called and spoke with Hotels.com and was told just rebook it as the room availability showed 3 left. So, handcuffed/trapped with only 11-days away from the event, which I had already spent a ton of money on tickets and the family vacation days are already reserved – I felt forced to rebook. The new rate was $2,830. YES, that is $1,130 {+66% increase!}. When I arrived at the hotel, I did speak with Gorges, who clearly felt nothing was wrong. Three next step outcomes: 1. If this was an honest mistake – then refund the difference and HONOUR the original booking rate. 2. IF a predatory pricing practice, then I recommend firing someone who is mis-managing your operation immediately. 3. OR, give him a raise, and kiss future guest that read this post bye-bye. Maybe I was wrong to trust my family vacation to Courtyard by Marriott & Hotels.com – stay tuned and we’ll see. Robert Raymond

L'emplacement et la propreté était irréprochable. Gentillesse des employés.

Il est fâchant de payer plus cher pour une chambre avec lit king et se retrouver avec un lit queen. L'employé de la réception ses excusé en disant que rien ne pouvait être fait.

One of our group had their Car stollen on the Friday night of their stay. The hotel has “clubs” available for the safety of the vehicles on their property but they were not offered until after the theft occurred. Being proactive might be bad PR but damage control is worse. Are there cameras in the parking lot? There should be warning signs up and the front desk should alert the guests. Very disappointing event though not the hotels fault.

We were traveling through to Mont Ste Anne and wanted a Marriott as am a Bonvoy member. The Courtyard is located literally right off the highway. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel's location was fine; there are very few places to stay in this part of Montreal. Breakfast was bizarre, a cordoned off section of the well, lobby would be stretching a point. Quite expensive, prefab food. Doesn't fly in a city like Montreal.Not in Kansa Dorothy!

Reception was indifferent and unhelpful: two boys who were basically robots and not about to do anything.

Wenn das Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht wird, erhält man beim einchecken jeweils einen Bon pro Nacht. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist begrenzt auf fünf Varianten die jedoch sehr rasch und frisch zubereitet werden.

Da das Hotel einwenig abseits liegt sind die Einkauf Möglichkeiten circa 15 bis 20 Minuten entfernt, je nach Ortskenntnissen und Fahrweise.

To the hotel management: this experience was unacceptable. I’m a Lifetime Platinum member who trusted the process and followed it exactly. A Marriott Bonvoy agent cancelled my original reservation for me and rebooked me at another Marriott property. Everything was done correctly on their end. Your hotel still charged me for the cancelled room. You refused to acknowledge the cancellation. You refused to take responsibility. You refused to reimburse me, even after Marriott confirmed the agent handled everything properly. As someone who has been loyal to Marriott for decades, I’ve never dealt with a property that disregards both its guests and Marriott’s own policies this way. This isn’t just disappointing—it’s shocking. I hope Marriott takes a serious look at how this situation was handled, because no loyal guest should be treated like this.

À la piscine il n’y a pas assez de chaises pour mettre nos choses il devrait au minimum avoir des crochets pour ne pas déposer nos choses parterre Il y avait des cours de natation alors c’était quand meme assez bruyant en plus d’un tournois de hockey de jeunes de 15-16 ans

I called the hotel itself to confirm if the pool is open as it was indicated it's under renovation in expedia.The lady I spoke with answered the question and tried to book me already thru the phone.I told her I am going to book thru expedia and she started talking about trouble that I may encounter if I book thru expedia.and was pushy that I should book with her over the phone.Not to mention, the price she is giving me is actually MORE expensive than what I can get from expedia.So I told her I never had issues with Expedia and was firm that I will do the booking my self.The call was recorded if it needs to be reviewed, date was Oct 11 at noonish.. As per the pool, my kids love it.There are 2 options of sauna: dry or steam which is great.There is life guard on duty and pool toys are provided.The life guard lady on duty on the night of Oct 11 was nice and welcoming.BUT there were swimming lesson happening in the pool and one of the swimminh instructor told us to move on the other side because they need the lane for the lesson which is not possible too because it is being used by someone.The HOTEL admin must make sure guests are being accomodated FIRST in the pool rather than being squished in one spot because all these swim lessons are being held.

This was probably the 8th time I've stayed here - including during a profound and extended family crisis. the staff are lovely, the rooms well appointed, the location very convenient and the rates fair. I'll be back. ps: you need to work on your smoked meat sandwich. I had one on September 21 and it was God awful - inedible.

Facilities and room are Spartan and clean. No benefit to being a Gold+ member. Rooms not cleaned during stay. Only minimal basics provided. Prices for food and nonalcoholic beverages are expensive even by hotel standards. At check-in I was advised that we’re in a high auto theft area and steering lock (provided) is advised.

They let us check in early since we heading to an event which lasted into late evening.

Easy parking stood out! Great for Uhaul’s and larger vehicles.
