The beds were really comfortable, it was great having our own private pool that got plenty of sunlight throughout the day, and the air conditioners worked really well.

The property is further away, so it is important to be aware that you can't walk to any shops, restaurants or massage places, and the surrounding roads aren't really designed for walking. You'll need to arrange transportation to get around. The biggest disappointment for us was the food. The breakfast was very underwhelming, and the overall menu had limited choices and unfortunately the food was not very enjoyable. We ended up ordering food from outside the property quite regularly. For a property where the idea is to relax in your villa and enjoy the facilities, having a good food offering is really important, and this was a major area that could be improved. The property itself is also starting to feel quite dated and could really benefit from some investment and refurbishment. While the original design is lovely, the property feels like it hasn't been maintained to the standard you would expect for the price. Some areas, particularly the gardens, looked quite dry and tired, and there were parts of the property that felt a little run down and in need of a deep clean and cosmetic refresh. Overall, I think the property has a lot of potential, but it would benefit significantly from some upgrades and refurbishment to justify its current pricing.

The bathroom smelled really bad, staff cleaned it a few times but the smell remained during the whole stay.

You have to pay for a coffee 9 Aud with a so called buffet breakfast which had nothing to offer When booking I put 6 people then when I get there I had to pay another 550 aud for a extra bed even though ok there advertising it said enough rooms for 6 people But other then that it was good

The staff were friendly and the villa looked beautiful. The on-site restaurant, Base, was great. For adults/couples, this place is probably great

Unfortunately the property is not family/baby friendly. The living area has no air conditioning (only the bedrooms do) and with the property facing the setting sun, the villas get incredibly hot (we clocked the room at 32°c each afternoon) There is a kitchenette in the room but limited utensils to use. The pool is also fairly awkward to get in and out of - there is no ladder or steps into it (only ledge close to the surface that is the only help getting in and out of. To access the villas is all up stairs and in most cases, further stairs to get into the villas themselves. Not ideal when you injure yourself at the hotel and there are no lifts

Až na to že několik dní byla pouze studená voda ve sprše, tak super! Lokalita trochu mimo - bez skútru to nejde a okolí nic moc.

Wir hatten von der Villa mehr erwartet. Es ist eine schöne Villa aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Uns fehlte der Charme. Draussen gab es nur 2 Sonnenliegen für 4 Personen, keine Auflagen. An wer einen oder andern Ecke muss dringend was getan werde . Die großen Glastüren ließen sich nicht abschließen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen und die Getränke konnte man sich auf die Zimmern liefern lassen. Abseits von uluwatu!

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel récemment et mon expérience a été mitigée. Les points positifs : la villa était agréable et le séjour s’est globalement bien passé. Le personnel restait poli et l’établissement bénéficie d’un cadre appréciable. Cependant, plusieurs aspects m’ont déçue et m’ont donné le sentiment d’un manque de professionnalisme. Tout d’abord, le petit-déjeuner était très moyen et ne correspondait pas au niveau de prestation que j’attends d’un établissement de cette catégorie. Ensuite, j’ai eu l’impression que l’accent était constamment mis sur les paiements. De nombreux services devaient être réglés à l’avance, ce qui a créé une sensation peu accueillante et davantage orientée vers l’aspect financier que vers l’expérience client. J’ai également été surprise qu’au moment du départ, le personnel nous demande d’attendre pendant qu’ils vérifiaient minutieusement la chambre, y compris certains équipements. Après avoir voyagé dans de nombreux pays et séjourné dans des hôtels de différentes catégories, c’est une situation que je n’avais encore jamais rencontrée. Concernant les petites attentions, seulement deux petites bouteilles d’eau étaient fournies à la fois, ce qui obligeait à en redemander régulièrement. Une approche plus prévenante aurait été d’en laisser davantage à disposition afin d’éviter aux clients de solliciter constamment le personnel. Enfin, la veille de notre départ, nous avons reçu un rappel insistant concernant l’heure de check-out. Bien entendu, nous connaissions les règles de l’établissement et comptions les respecter. Ce message m’a donné le sentiment que l’hôtel craignait que nous ne quittions pas la chambre à l’heure, ce qui m’a semblé inutilement pressant. Pour résumer, l’hôtel est correct, mais il lui manque selon moi le sens du service et le professionnalisme que l’on retrouve dans les établissements véritablement orientés vers l’expérience client.

Loved the private pool in our room and the staff, so very friendly and helpful! Loved that the hotel was in a quiet area which helped us depress from a days exploring Ulu. Only 15 min Grab from central Ulu, 10 mins from GWK. The included breakfast was awesome as well. A very peaceful stay.

Like most accommodation places in Bali, they look amazing from a distance but once you start to look closely you see the need for regular maintenance etc.

La villa et l’hôtel était trop jolie , un peux loins de la route principale mais il y a une navette et avec un scooter c’est parfait . Logement vu sur la mer , magnifique couché de soleil. Petite visite d’un singe un matin . Je recommande ce logement

La visite du singe alors que le logement était pas fermé . Le mieux est d’avoir un logement qui ferme pour plus de sécurité

The view from villa was stunning.

The rooms were tired . The pool was accessible through the bedroom or bathroom window with no outside area to sit . Photos were a bit deceptive .

Mijn vriendin en ik hebben 5 nachten verbleven in een villa met zwembad bij Hideaway Villas in Uluwatu. Het verblijf was fantastisch! De kamers zijn dikke prima, het zwembad met panoramisch uitzicht is heerlijk en het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. De villa ligt zeer dichtbij de hoofdstraat van Uluwatu en er zijn genoeg restaurants en activiteiten in de nabije omgeving. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen.

Beautiful view from our infinity pool, room was clean and cool. Staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and we would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone, especially people who want to rest and relax

Firings and finishing in room were a little dated and needed some updating and repair, but the pool made up for it.

such a unique place to stay- beautiful private pool and amazing bathroom and shower. all the staff were so lovely and helpful and always greeted you with a smile!

it is a tad isolated and can take a while to get to key locations due to traffic on the main road

Très bel hotel avec un personnel, très gentil et réactif, super avec la piscine privé je recommande cet endroit, on peut se déplacer avec les grab facilement et pour pas cher.

Stunning villas, very private, clean pool, beautiful staff that were willing to help with anything we needed. So friendly and caring to our little girls.

There was a slight smell coming from under the sink, the drain we assumed. It did not negatively affect our stay, just something to note for the owners.

I love everything about it. The beds are comfy. The bathroom clean & well aired. The open area, the pool, the view. The quietness. Perfect 💕

1. The overgrown plants along the small road to the villa. It gave quite a long scratches on the rental car. Thank goodness we could manage to wipe it off with a little bit of elbow grease. I know the road might not belong to the villa but taking care the surrounding area might help enhancing the experience. Oh a few corner mirrors might help as well. 2. The villa came with a kitchen and a sink but not a dish soap and sponge. Please do provide it, some guests didn’t like to leave a dirty dishes in the sink 😊.

The view from the pool was very good and we got to see the sunset on most nights. The bed was also very comfortable.

The room and pool, although lovely, required maintenance. The restaurant staff were quite slow and sadly we missed out on breakfast on our departure day, even though we had ordered as soon as the restaurant opened and waited for 30 minutes. We also felt a little bit isolated away from the shops and general precinct.

The property and room felt dated and not well maintained. Lighting in the room was quite dim, which made it uncomfortable at night. There was leftover food left along the walkway corridor during our stay, which affected cleanliness standards. The air conditioning unit appeared old and was noticeably loud, impacting sleep quality.

L'accueil , la gentillesse et le dévouement de l'ensemble des employés, la chambre , la qualité et le choix du petit déjeuner.. Merci au sympathique manager du matin qui nous a permis d'avoir un menu végétarien au dîner et à la gentille hôtesse mani....(désolé j'ai oublié le prénom)!

Aucun menu végétarien n'est proposé dans la carte du menu du dîner, contrairement au petit déjeuner !

The only reason I am not giving a higher rating is due to an issue we experienced with the kitchen bench at the villa. While having dinner, a corner of the bench came off after very light contact with my knee. The bench was clearly in poor condition and appeared to have been repaired multiple times already. Management initially attempted to charge me for the full repair, which I disputed, as the damage was clearly due to wear and tear rather than misuse. The amount was later reduced by 30% and then 50%, but I still feel it is unfair to be charged at all for something that was already damaged. Unless properly fixed or replaced, this is likely to happen again and future guests may face the same issue. Apart from that, everything was really good, staff were friendly and helpful.

Le séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Nous avons été plusieurs fois au restaurant, nous y avons très bien mangé. Je recommande cet établissement.

Il a été compliqué d'avoir une facture malgré le fait que ce soit obligatoire. L'établissement nous l'a quand même fourni. Nous avions loué un scooter il n'a pas été possible de le louer la demi-journée je trouve cela dommage.

The size of the villa the breakfast and the location

This is my second time visiting, last time they had a buggy but it wasn't operational on my visit this time. Lots of up hill walking and the resort us sloped

The property was gorgeous. Lovely views from our pool and walking around the place it looked wonderful.

It isn’t close to much so you need to get a lift to most places. When you go, there is a turn off the road down a sketchy alley but it comes out to a beautiful place.

Beds not the comfiest for us and mosquitoes

Great privacy, pool was a must have in the heat and we could see the sunset from our villa. Rooms were clean and have air conditioning. Reception was responsive via WhatsApp.

The villas are starting to be very worn out, they clearly need maintenance. Open lounge at night meant we didn’t really want to hang out in the open as it had mosquitoes. Room service was inconsistent, often missed or delayed due to being “booked out” resulting in dirty kitchens (ants in the bin etc.). It didn’t feel very clean overall but perhaps it is just because it is older. Miscommunication with staff around their laundry service which is very expensive (over $90 AUD for 38 items, most of it baby clothes) which was rectified later on. It was pretty far from the main beach, bars and restaurants. On hindsight I’d have booked somewhere more convenient and higher quality.
