Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Staff were exceptional, we accidentally booked a smoking room and they were able to change it to a non-smoking room for free. The staff members at the front desk during our stay were very kind too, they were able to give recommendations about the local area and how best to travel to the touristic spots. There were three hangers per person already set in the room as well as an additional pillow per person. Extra pillows were also available downstairs at night.
There's a faint smell of smoke in the corridor that you would expect from a hotel that probably used to have many more smoking rooms. The duvet inner is exposed with a single unattached cotton sheet below so that you do not have to touch the duvet itself. It's a pain to get the cotton sheet properly sitting between you and the duvet, especially if you are staying multiple nights. A real duvet cover would have been far better.
