Unfortunately I had the worst experience with a female dorm here. I can't understand why people who are snoring very loud and strong decide to stay in a dorm. Please book a private room and give all the other guests the possibility to get some sleep. Even earplugs couldn't help me.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026管家杜杜很溫暖， 這次住的房型比想像中大間，浴室乾淨舒適通風佳， 房間可看到火車經過，火車噪音不會影響睡眠，反而是旅客的腳步和喧鬧聲比較影響，非假日時間住宿旅客少也較安靜， 冷氣夠強，房間採光好，會給人想閱讀的感覺。
房間內有一個車子內部的味道（不確定是潮濕、霉味、汗臭味，就是會暈車的人害怕的那種味道），住了二日整個行李箱裡的東西都充滿這個味道， 剛入住時沒有，應該是長時間開冷氣造成的（？ 地理位置距離火車站步行約10分鐘，建議背包客前往較輕便。

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The staff is very nice and friendly, and he helped us a lot by recommending some delicious local food! We were also kindly offered the option to store our bags downstairs at the hostel even after checking out, which was very convenient.
One downside is that the quilt was thinner than expected, so I felt quite cold in the middle of the night. (or perhaps I’m just someone who gets cold easily!)

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Facilities were dated but kept very clean - pictures of private room looked a bit more modern than it actually was (but I may have just gotten an older room). Owner was SO kind, helped me with my luggage and very friendly. AC in rooms, comfy beds, spacious room, good location close to lots of restaurants.
A bit loud at times as close to the train station (but not usually between 11-6) while owner was very kind I encountered a staff member the last day who was very rude about me coming back for my luggage

Reviewed May 27, 2026住宿地點離火車站有距離 也沒電梯 到了我行李箱卡住要進來，在外面2-3次開門 腳撐著門鎖去拉行李箱門又關上 我試了十幾分鐘重新按密碼開門 一進來發現有人 櫃檯在滑手機 交誼廳感覺是她的女兒們都在那看平板吃披薩 她們沒有任何一個人來幫我開門

Reviewed May 26, 2026Very friendly and enthusiastic host with recommendations for the area (and very good English speaking skills). Fridge and water dispenser to use. Nice common area. Only a short walk from the train station and a bus stop. Spacious room. Our Double Room was furbished more functional than cozy; however, we only paid about 1200 NTD per night, and we have gotten far less for more money.
If anything, more opportunities to hang clothes or towels and another chair in the room would have been nice.

床太硬了，一開始沒有什麼特別的感覺，躺著也還算可以，但睡到天快亮的時候，發現腰痠背痛，後續怎麼躺都不舒服，所以其實沒有辦法睡得很好。另外熱水的部分剛開始會忽冷忽熱(會燙那種)，調整幾次之後還算穩定。

廁所的排水聲音稍大但是尚可接受、衣架太少了只有兩個、房間內的梳妝台沒有鏡子很不方便。

Reviewed May 19, 20261、氛圍100分！！抵達花蓮的那天下大雨，從車站走到北吉光又熱又濕，剛進門剛好管家杜杜不在，只有零星幾位客人在大廳，大家各自愜意地做著自己的事，塑造出親切和諧的氛圍，在大廳稍作休息之後也逐漸從狼狽的狀態到有被充電的感覺 2、性價比太好了！！！！！乾淨舒適的超大單人房，空間非常大，熱水很足，價格真的太實惠！停留一晚得到充分的休息，隔天早上還會捨不得起床🤣 3、管家杜杜真的太好了🥺北吉光會受到大家的讚賞，不只是房間設備及性價比優秀，一定也包含有杜杜的友善和親切待人！每次見到面都有溫暖的打招呼，房間內也有杜杜撰寫的創刊號小書，最後不小心把水壺遺留在青旅，杜杜非常及時處理，好感謝T__T

Reviewed Apr 18, 20265 mins taxi only 100 TWD to the station, big towel rental available for 30 TWD, very friendly staff, clean room. Around 6 to 7 mins walk from convenience store family mart and McDonalds, Japanese ramen and local Taiwanese restaurant nearby. Washing machine available for 20 TWD.
Some review claimed there were noise from the train, I didn’t hear much though.
