Breakfast
Wouldn’t go there, terrible. Staff really rude and unhelpful only time I saw the woman smile was when she took payment. Arrived at 8pm after a really long day to be told kitchen closed it’s a restaurant pub? Not even an offer of a sandwich. There were 4 groups of people there on a Saturday evening yet music blasting out who let the dogs out, say no more. Room was decorated lavishly but cheaply, not cleaned probably, Shower pressure low and adjusting temperature was difficult, mould present in bathroom Room was hot but couldn’t open windows as it overlooked main drinking area, despite not being busy you hear rubbish music and talking. No sound protection awful banging sound coming from the plumbing in the shared bathroom. Could hear every sound from every other room and shared bathroom not pleasant. Cheapest curtains thin and did not cover window. Not sure the manager/ owner knows exactly what they want to achieve. Looked like they were trying everything. Pizza area not open, pub, amusement park, function venue. Kitchen area was exposed next to entrance to rooms. Breakfast was the only good thing but coffee was poor. I booked three nights but stayed 1 after a night of no sleep due to plumbing noise, an atmosphere that made you feel unwelcome and you were an inconvenience. No offer of refund. She took the money and smiled for the first time.
Fantastic riverside location
No complaints
Friendly staff, clean and quiet location.
Shared bathroom.
Great riverside location - children play park
the shared bathroom was problematic - the shower is in same room as the toilet and other guests spent ages in the shower in the morning - staff were lovely but cooked breakfast was not good.
Saltford on the face of it is a very busy A road lined with houses and some shops, a bit grim, but venturing towards the river and the Shallows lies something far more charming, St. Mary's church is a prime example. I needed to escape Bath before I headed to Cornwall so as I'd never seen more of Saltford than the A4 I thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did.
Nothing I didn't particularly like, except the heat. ( Stayed during the 5th heatwave of summer '26) Can't blame the Inn for that but they did provide a very large fan which although noisy stopped me from being baked alive, which was nice.
Very nice location. So quiet 🤫
Nice place for relax
Everything was great
Nothing
Clean and friendly staff
Its location is stunning. Room was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room appeared unfinished, with an air conditioning unit awaiting installation and cardboard and components left in the space. The windowless bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, and the portable fan provided was very noisy. There was no bedside table, and the power sockets were not conveniently located, with one positioned under the bed. The curtains did not fully block the morning light, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. At £143 per night, I expected a higher standard.
Great spot by the river. Food was lovely. Room. Was large and clean.
You couldn't access the apps on the TV. You tube . Itv app etc. A fan to keep the room cool would of been nice.
Good price value outside Bath. Very friendly staff. Next to a bus stop to Bath and Bristol. Since it is hassle to find a parking spot in Bath we got well advised by de manager to go by bus.
Nada destacable
Localización, sin aire acondicionado, comida muy limitada, olores de la cocina en la habitación, zonas comunes no muy limpias. Desayuno de mala calidad
Nice location but easy access into town Staff were amazing
Quirky rooms clean and tidy
Lovely location on the banks of the canal. The food here in the evening was exceptional. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I had a lovely room which overlooked the canal. Will definitely stay here again.
The only thing that could have been better was more choice of breakfast as the only option was a breakfast bap. However, this would not stop me staying here again.
Lovely place and lovely staff. Nice walk from Bath along the river Avon. Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Bonus points for multiple vegetarian options on the menu! I also appreciated the less pricey room with a shared bathroom, but a river view and a comfy bed.. Great value for money!
Clean and comfortable
Shared bathroom is not ideal for me personally
Well situated for Bath and Bristol
location breakfast facilities
Location,very helpful and freindly staff
Location
Dirty. Shared bathroom with all the other rooms. Food disgusting.
The location
Nothing
Great location, nice and quiet. Great breakfast
Shared bathroom and people didn't flush properly
The place
The staff
Lovely and clean, great location. Staff very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding.
It was nice and peaceful. The room was very clean and the staff i delt with were very helpful and the breakfast was very good.
Very nice staff, beautiful location
Shared bathroom is a bit of a show stopper, speically when you spend a decently.
Location
The receptionist wasn’t nice and the breakfast was quite poor and not adapt to families
The room was dirty, the shower mouldy and dirty,
Lovely, clean, comfortable, nice smelling room. Very good full English breakfast included in price. Good value for money. Easy parking. Clean bathroom very near room.
Heating on too high. But could adjust so not major problem.
Location
Noise from air con unit or similar all night. First member of staff not very friendly. Quite expensive for standard of room.
Area was nice, but the bed was that great
They gave twin bed, no tub in the toilet with £140 per night. Room was ground floor with the window right next to the pub seating, it was little visible.
It was easy to check in, it was a beautiful location, nice and quiet. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was brilliant and I will definitely stay again in the future.
Great location. The bedroom and facilities were very good but all let down by the central heating and how noisy it was
We hardly got any sleep because the central heating made a continuous noise all through the night. When leaving the next morning we mentioned this to the chambermaid who said they were having problems with the heating and it keeps going wrong It really ruined our stay as we didn't get much sleep and felt very tired in the morning.
The location is very good, food is tasty, and staff are friendly and helpful
The staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is stunning. I didn't see everything they had to offer as it was a brief stay. But we will definitely be back.
I completely get why due to the location and flooding risks, but I would prefer carpet or rugs rather than hard flooring in the bedroom. This did not detract from our stay though.
Everything lovely place
Nothing
The location was fantastic, the room we were allocated was well thought out, lovely and warm, very clean and the beds were comfortable. A mini fridge in the room was a good addition, as were the ironing board and Iron and a hair dryer. We were fortunate to be on the ground floor as there were steps up to some of the rooms which might have been a bit awkward with a suitcase. The staff we met were helpful and friendly, and the bar restaurant was perfect for our needs. We would love to stay here again.
I can't think of anything negative to say!
The room was beautiful, the location was lovely. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Its a great value venue that i've stayed at before. Friendly staff, it looks like it's a really active entertainment venue too, although I haven't had a chance to experience an evening there yet.
It's not perfect, but it's a great place to stay that perfectly suits by needs. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I look forward to going back.
Super room Very clean Very comfortable bed
Uber cost
Location that’s it
The staff were rude
Room and breakfast.
Sharing toilet.
Nice comfy beds , great location.
Only pizza being served after a long journey bar shutting at 9pm
The location , beautiful scenery
Nothing
Nice location on the river.
Ultimately, it’s a pub. Nothing wrong with pubs but I usually drink in them, I don’t sleep there.
The rooms were amazing and so comfy, perfect for a very tired family.
Room was clean.
Beds weren’t very comfortable. Ground floor room we were in looked directly out onto the beer garden.
Lovely location next to river Very clean and well equipped room Rooms are near to outside bar area so could be noisy at weekends but quiet in a weekday
Could have less cushions and prefer no air fresheners could irritate for those with allergies Exceptionally clean and staff very good and friendly
We chose the Riverside Inn because it was well located for visiting Bath. We were able to park our car and use public transport (buses every 15 mins). Also being right on the Avon and riverside walk was a great bonus and the staff were friendly. As well as a good breakfast we ate in the bar which served decent pub grub and beer.
The location was lovely and picturesque by the river with almost no traffic noise. The room had a little fridge and provided bottled water as well as other drinks and the shower was fab (no bath). The breakfast was nice, but only hot breakfast or continental, not a combination of both. Staff were helpful. The room decor was cool and there were plenty of plugs for chargers and things. There was plenty of parking.
The room did not feel like value for money and neither did the breakfast. The WiFi didn't work at all which was frustrating and there was no-one around to get help after 10pm - there didn't seem to be a night porter.
Good value accommodation option especially for visiting Bath. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was generous and hearty. They found us a place where we could lock our bikes which was adjacent to the room we stayed in.
The only negative point we could think of was the surly check-in staff. Otherwise everything was fine!
Proximity to river Avon and an excellent full English
No storage for clothes Overpriced charging when the park and ride offers charging for half the price
Friendly staff, clean large room, fridge with water and milk for tea and coffee (provided). We had breakfast in the room, due to early breakfast.
Location is perfect and clean stuff was perfect helpful recommended well this hotel specially the young lady, I don't know her name but she was perfect and she helped us and they have fantastic view

All good
Bella location
Absolutely everything you would need! Lovely little place! Would definitely visit again!
Staff and position. Carvery was fantastic.
Only 8am - 9am and had to choose a variation on a ‘full English’ the night before. Also time to have it within the one hour slot
i enjoyed the breakfast and on the second morning, the owner was able to change the meal with no problem. We also had an issue with our alarm system and the owner was good enough to give us a wake up call.
Breakfast was ok , possibility of vegetarian option. Location nice but loud music in the evening . There was no air conditioning ,room was really hot even with the fan.Fridge very tiny.Comfortable beds.
Fantastic location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were great and suited us perfect for our family trip
Locatie
De entourage; veel herrie
Lovely airy room with a great view. Milk in fridge !
Stairs to room !
Staff were welcoming and friendly, check-in was quick. The room was extremely clean and had everything you would need for the stay. The view of the river from the window was fantastic. Full English breakfast that was very tasty.
Food and surrounding was lovely.
The room had an unplesant smell
A clean, pleasant, and spacious room with everything you need. The breakfast was exceptional — delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast very good and so was the location
Pros: Lovely, smiling, helpful people The Jamaican decor gives a fun happy vibe The river view and all the river birds 🐦🥰 Room 3 was clean, large, comfy, dog-friendly
Shared bathroom 🚽😷 Paid £11 to upgrade
Staff very friendly and helpful
Unfortunately I didn't get to see the room as it had been double booked, not sure how but on arrival was told my room had been given to someone else, fortunately I managed to get myself a room elsewhere, but not something you want after a days work and hungry.
Not having s toom on arrival although I was offered a drink which I did not accept. Maybe ting ahead to check everything in OK with thd booking.
Wonderful location - right on the River. Super breakfast the next morning. Tea coffee water and fresh milk in room. Lovely soft towels and toiletries provided.
Mattresses were very lumpy - think may need replacing.
