Corfu Secret

Loved the location, a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The owner was super helpful and attentative, aporechiate the welcoming. The view from the room was amazing.

Old facilities, bed was very uncomfortable. Room had air conditioner located on side if the bed however if you wanted to stay with the window open it was impossible. You could hear the air conditioner of the other room, tremendous noise. To top the experience, you could hear everything, really everything people were doing on the rooms next to ours.

La posizione

La colazione non era abbastanza ricca

Prečist i udoban smeštaj, osoblje preljubazno i uvek dostupno.

The location was nice a 10-15 min walk to the strip, pool area was and an amazing view over the town and sea

The shower was a nightmare it had nowhere to hang the head so you had to shower one handed the water covered the floor as the curtain never fitted properly. A few more electric points would be handy.

Peaceful and Minimalist Stay We had a very relaxing time at this hotel in Corfu. The location is quiet and perfect for unwinding, with a beautiful sea view that made every morning special. The place is minimalist, but you have everything you need for a simple, stress-free vacation. The pool is a great bonus, and the staff were kind and helpful. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Ok hotel for the price. Beds are ok and you don’t have to get up early to put the towel on the sun beds. Breakfast is not worth getting up for, the reception is only open part time of the day. You get room service only every second day, but that doesn’t include new hand soap or new glasses. Also the showers are really small, and you have to hold the shower head. Also if you care about WiFi, it’s drops in and out, and it’s only working some places at the area. Be aware that the hotel is located 10-15 minutes walking from the beach, and it’s uphill.

I liked the view and the peace and quiet.

The wifi kept dropping out.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Schöne Lage, witzige Einteilung von Zimmern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They were nice enough to prepare us breakfast in advance when we had to leave early in the morning. Great swimming pool with a stunning view.

The bed was not super comfortable but the room was nice overall. We even had a balcony. There was an issue with hot water not working during our stay but it was quickly fixed.

Pool was a nice touch but no bar service

The common areas were quite dirty, cleaning in the rooms was not up to standards and the breakfast is extremely scarce and boring. No croissants, no scrambled eggs and the cold cuts are of low quality. The hotel is at a good 20 minute (dangerous) walk from the beach so not 600m like it says on website. Smoking on the breakfast terrace should not be allowed. Extremely rude and off-putting when you are eating. Please consider putting up no smoking signs as some guests are just inconsiderate.

Big room with air conditioner.

It was dirty and the room had some bad small due to humidity.

Colazione scarsa e poca scelta.

Incredibly friendly people, very communicative and helpful. The cleaning crew took care of the rooms. If you had any questions, they provided immediate help. Cleaning is done every other day with a change of towels. The swimming pool is well-kept. [This is a good option for lazy people who don't feel like going to the beach. :-)] For older people, I recommend renting a scooter or a car to get to the center. Of course, for young and healthy people, I recommend walking. It's good for your legs and well-being after a good dinner.

As for breakfast, it was the same every day. Very monotonous. Fresh, tasty, but eating the same meal for more than a week is simply boring. I would suggest changing something in this matter, because it will certainly contribute to the already great place this hotel is.

Very kind staff, good location close to the beach

Nothing (maybe if you are not a good driver parking is difficult)😁

The pool was fantastic also the view from the balcony and the breakfast was nice

The bed wasn't very comfortable but ok :)

Such a hidden gem! The view is spectacular, the staff are really accomodating and friendly, we had an issue with our car rental with another company and the hotel quickly saved the day and organised a rental through them for immediate pick up! The location is brilliant and I could not recommend this hotel more! It’s beautiful, such good value for money!

It was all perfect

A realy wonderful boutique hotel full of unique old style paints 🎨 and an amazing view. The staff was every moment next to us. Spiros every morning had to organize a different trip around the island for us. Very clean rooms and a quality continental breakfast. It's sure that we will visit again this place.

Arrived in the evening and were greeted by a very friendly man who had very limited English but tried his very best to firstly, find someone to help but quickly realised he was going to have to attend to us. Managed to be understood with his limited English and our non-existent Greek and some old fashioned hand gestures. The key card was temperamental but he gave us an alternative within minutes. It was very quiet and relaxing at the hotel, which was exactly what we needed. We were the only people in the pool which was small but ideal. We never made it down for breakfast after late nights exploring the area.

Terrible basic accommodation cant understand why people like it. We wanted to leave immediately but it was too late at night to find something else. Only good thing we can say is that its clean but rugs and furniture were so worn out. Main thing is that we booked a standard room with panoramic view but we got a basement with no view. I asked for a refund of extra amount paid for the view room but this was refused when expedia agent phoned the hotel and apparently the manager raised his voice, insistent we got the room we booked, so just a warning you may not get what you think you will.

We knew this was a basic budget hotel but as we only needed it from 10.30pm to 7.30 am there was no point paying for a decent hotel. As soon as we got there we were surprised that it was so basic the rugs and furniture are very worn and in need of replacement. We requested the standard room with panoramic view. The website shows a seaview in the description of that room type. I will add pictures of the "view". I requested via expedia a refund of the extra paid for said view but it was disputed by the owner. The expedia agent said the owner raised his voice insisting we had correct room and needed to pay extra for upstairs room.

We returned to Corfu in August and were quite limited as to where we could stay in Ipsos as most properties were sold out or to expensive. We found this property on Booking.com but eventually booked it direct and paid just over £600 for 1 week’s B and B which is good for that time of year. We know Ipsos well and have seen this property before but this is the first time we have used it and were so glad we did. The property is situated up the hill from Pyrgi and then left by the small shop it takes about 10 minutes to walk from Al’s restaurant to the hotel. The only thing I would say is that the property may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility as it’s set over different levels with steps to the rooms and pool. The number 7 blue bus starts at the end of the road and runs through Dassia and Gouvia to Corfu town every 20 minutes. We used this to get to the airport for about 10 Euro’s changing at San Rocco then onto the airport. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the view from the balcony was amazing over Ipsos bay. The room was comfortable and clean and the safe and A/C were included in the price. The breakfast was a bit limited but perfectly okay for your day ahead. I can recommend this hotel highly and we would return when in Ipsos again.

This hotel had the best view out of all the hotels on our trip (room 202). I loved sitting on the balcony of our room, listening to cicadas and looking at the vistas. They are exactly like on the pictures. The receptionists also did their best to help the customers. For example, the bed was a bit hard for my taste so he asked the cleaning lady to bring me a softer matress which was perfect. There's a bus stop 400 meters downhill (bus number 7 goes to Corfu town). Keep in mind this is uphill on your way back, though. Ipsos is also close by with its restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach. Corfu is so beautiful. Each view is postcard material. I recommend hiring a car or a motorbike and driving around like we did. The receptionist can help you finding a rental place. The hotel also has a friendly cat that can be found chilling on the premises. He lets you pet him and purrs. The only negative we could think of is that my spouse thought the breakfast was a bit simple.

It was a very comfortable nice stay. The staff was very helpful and nice!

Breakfast was included, which was practical Nice view from the terrace Friendly reception from the owner upon arrival

The shower is extremely cramped and it's impossible not to wet the floor Only one functional power outlet in the room (actually 2, if you count the one sticking entirely out of the wall, but which worked nonetheless) The red bed cover had stains on it Other guests (groups of young people) were very noisy until late into the night (not the owner's fault, of course, but still an issue) Overpriced drinks at the bar (6 Euros for a shot of kumquat liqueur with ice seems exaggerated)

Very good value for the money you spend Very kind staff! Fine breakfast. Nice rooms and room service. Nice and clean pool. The room was cleaned daily and everything was clean. You get shampoo and clean towels every day. The pool-area was also clean and fresh.

This hotel is excellent value for money. It’s very clean with friendly staff especially the lady who sorts out breakfast she was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s 10mins walk down to Ipsos where all the bars and restaurants are. We would definitely recommend.

We had a shaky start to our week's stay, but could not have been met with nicer, more eager to please staff who made every effort to get us back on track. We arrived here on tuesday the 10th and was showed to our room by a wonderful lady Lydia. From the moment we walked into Hotel Secret, we breathed a sigh of relief and pleasure. Every detail is thought of in the most subtle way. Very well located, next to everything by foot The bar area is great for drinks if you’re back after a long day out on the beach. The room is well appointed, beds are super comfortable. The pool is great. Wonderful furnitures in the room which was beautifully clean and well-organised. The Ypsos Beach, the Blue Lagoon, the Aquapark, are something that you can't miss and I can only say that I want to be back. You can rent car at the hotel. I would return here again and again!

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Inhaber, Frühstück leider wenig abwechslungsreich und ausgewogen.

The hotel was staffed by very friendly people; was very clean and boasted superb views. A couple of mInor issues: the property is on multi-levels and the trek to and from the very well maintained pool was slightly challenging as, indeed, was the walk to and from the beach. However, the views and the staff more than compensated.

Hotel Corfu Secret is just amazing. The best Value for Money! The owner Spyros and Lydia are very politely. The hospitality, the rooms, the breakfast, the view... everything is perfect. If I have the possibility to put 10 stars, I would make it. So, take 5 stars from us Corfu Secret and continue to provide Greek hospitality as it is!!!!

After spending a week in Greece, I have to admit that this vacation takes the lead to all past vacation travels. Corfu Secret played a huge part in that. We booked an amazing room, really clean and cozy. Breakfast was basic but freshly cooked and tasty. We really enjoyed our time by the pool drinking cocktails and loving life 😊 Thank you Corfu!!!

Really nice and cozy rooms for me! I have spent Easter time in Greece and Corfu Secret was my last chance to visit Greece this time of year. Not only the Hotel members managed to find me the cutest room ever, but they also welcomed me with a bottle of red wine and a nicely written letter! Everything was just great and I am completely speechless from the hospitality and the humanity those people showed me. I Love Greece and of course I love Corfu Secret!!!

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days with my boyfriend. Generally the hotel is nice and the staff is pretty helpful concerning information about the Island. The first day we asked how we could rent a motorbike. He adviced us a place pointing out that it was the only one with a full insurance. The motorbike was new and it was more expensive than other places (170€ for six days) however we realized that in the end we actually didn’t have full insurance. The hotel has a nice swimming pool open untill 20,30 with no safeguard, there is a small o bar next to it but it’s always closed. Unfortunately a very very bad point of the hotel is the breakfast. It was very disappointing, everything extremely sweet and industrial. The quality was bad and the products old. The check out was at twelve however they called us at 11 remembering that the check out was at 12. At 11,20 the cleaning lady started knocking on the door saying we had to leave (pretty rudely). Our check out was a nightmare. We had paid everything through booking months earlier and the owner didn’t believe us untill we showed from our private bank account that they took the money. Finally, they don’t really keep your suitcases safely if you need to leave them for a few hours before departure.

Great location, very quite place near the sea with spectacular view!!! The best hotel around!! Visit the very old village Agios Markos near above the place and taste traditional dishes. Also very clean rooms. A highly recommended hotel in Corfu with a really good price.

When we arrived Nikos met us and took our bags in. we had to wait a while till Spiro's the manager arrived, the views from the breakfast area were beautiful and then we were shown to our room 303. The room looked very nice but as time went on little things started to niggle the drawers in the cupboards would only open so far, as the door into the room jammed them at about 8 inches out, a bit odd. The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was always had. The shower was powerful but as it is a curtain it tended to blast the water all over the place and there was no place on the wall to hold the shower while washing. The breakfast was limited it could do with more fruit and a hot course scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. The coffee was good but breakfast a bit disappointing. The cleanliness in the hotel was good to be fair but not the rooms as you'll see from the photographs. I don't blame the people who work there as I'm sure the company is run as was said in another review (a tight ship) The pool was very nice but the bar had never opened in the time we were there and it was quite a climb up 86 steps to the breakfast area to get a drink if somebody was there. It is a nice hotel but needs to pick up it's game.I cannot complain about the people who work there as they were always very helpful. How ever owns this hotel really needs to invest in staff and a change in policy.

This hotel is elegant and comfortable. Within the last two weeks while doing Corfu Trail I've seen diffrent accomodations and I can say that this one is really worth the money. Bathroom was nice and clean, breakfast tasty - you can have it on the tarrace with nice view, there is also swimming pool. Staff is very helpfull and takes care about your comfort. THANK YOU - to the gentelman who brought me to the hotel with his scooter!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff and owners are unbelievably friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. Our room was cozy and romantic with the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen in Corfu. Thank you again spiros and Lydia for making our stay extremely special. 👌

Fantastic hotel in quiet location. Rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile. Beautiful sea views from rooms. The pool was clean. We had it to ourselves most days. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel molto bello e pulito.
